      They are really fast, friendly, and professional. I've used them twice so far, and they are very accommodating. They don't try to pressure you into options and costs. All of my belongings were well taken care of, everything was wrapped up nice and tight, and I've never noticed any dings or scratches on my furniture. They are suitable for both long-range and short-range moves.

      Impressive Moving Team

      Moving is the worst, but these guys made it the best possible experience. From the quick response via phone call and a last-minute date change, especially the moving. We had four guys who worked nonstop and wrapped everything with care in a timely manner. We were moving out of a second-story location with no elevator and a small stairwell spot. John and his team were so attentive, quick, and thorough. I would hire them again and again and will absolutely be using GetMovers again. I highly recommend them, especially our specific team of guys with John. Literally the best!

      Oh my goodness, I can't even express how great these guys were! We hired them for a huge office move, and they totally rocked it! The crew they sent was so friendly and on top of things.       Professional move

      We should have hired Getmovers sooner! We moved from a 3- Bedroom appartment and were struggling to get everything relocated. After weeks of futile attempts by ourselves, we finally decided to looked for reputable movers, and Getmovers was one of the highest rated we found. the team of movers were quick, efficient, reliable, and careful. they worked with us in sorting items, and making sure they were appropriately packed (i.e. fragile items aren't put underneath heavy ones, large items are custom-packed and carefully hauled by the team). There were no items damaged during the move, and the rest of the items we personally unpacked were helpfully labeled for reference. Finally, they painstakingly accounted for each and every item through a comprehensive list, so it was easy to cross reference stuff, just in case anything was missed (they didn't miss any items for our case!). I'd totally recommend Getmovers for anyone planning a move. Their entire team is also excellent, so don't hesitate to shoot them an email for any questions, or to get a quote done. We'll be sure to contact them again for any future moves!

      Loyal Customer

      I have used GetMovers several times since 2021 and I’m always impressed with the level of service provided to me. They are diligent with set up and most importantly extremely cautious, communicative, and helpful during the move. I have recommended their crew to several friends and family. Interestingly, I found them as I was driving and noticed the intriguing name on their truck. This company was great to communicate with, from beginning to end. Note though that the more accurate info you provide them in regards to what belongings you actually have, the more seamless your experience will be, especially if you're having them do all the packing. The guys were prompt and showed up super early in the morning. They were extremely careful with my belongings. I'm especially worried about having furniture being dented, freshly painted walls being damaged. Not to worry. I watched the process and everything went unbelievably smoothly. These guys were even able to fit a massive couch through a doorway I didn't think it would fit through. Took a bit of maneuvering, but they were persistent. My kind of guys! Great work!

      Move from Victoria to Vancouver

      Get Movers helped me with my relocation from Victoria to Vancouver, and it was easy and affordable after all. The most expensive part was ferry fee, but that's unavoidable anyway. My stuff was delivered with no visible damages and on time.

      Move and overnight storage

      We needed to move our stuff and keep it somewhere overnight, and Get movers provided a solution. They wanted the delivery to be in the morning, but we needed it to be at 12, and it wasn't convenient for them, but Nancy figured out a way to keep our belongings in the truck and waive extra charges. Everything was delivered in one piece and without delay, so this is a 5.

      Filing a claim

      Get Movers damaged the property that they moved me into. I filed a claim immediately. That was three months ago. Since then despite several e mails, many phone calls nothing has been done to repair the damage.

      My e mails are not answered and if someone answers the phone they say they will put me through but don't.

      The one Customer Service representative I spoke to told me the Claims Manager does not do his job.

      I am left with damage and the cost of repair.

      Do not use this company they are a nightmare. The worst customer service I have ever experienced.

      Poor move experience, damaged items, terrible customer experience

      I don't usually write a bad review for a company but hiring Get Movers was a terrible experience for us and I feel the need to warn others. When the moving truck arrived with a name on it that we didn't recognize, it became clear that they subcontract - so there is unpredictability there and you don't know the quality of the movers you're going to get.

      The movers took items to our storage area off site and at that site they pressured us into paying before they finished the job. When we got home from the storage unit we found gouges in our wall, scratches all over our basement floor and extensive damage to our basement door and trim around it.

      On the same day, we sent an email with photos of the damage, which they completely ignored. After numerous attempts at getting through to them they sent us a claim form which we filled out, and after two weeks they still didn't get back to us to resolve the issue. So again we had to contact them and when they finally responded they said they rejected our claim because we already paid them. They made us pay them when we were off site and couldn't check to see if there was damage at the house. When we told them that, they again ignored us…

We called GetMovers for a 2-bedroom house move from Toronto to Ajax. Everything was extremely efficient and hardworking which was expected with the great reputation. They arrived on time, wrapped my stuff nicely with blankets and plastic wrap, were careful and took all the proper precautions. They also took time to assemble some large items and hook up my washer. This is an awesome moving company. I highly recommend GetMovers and would use again!

RUN!

Get Movers has zero integrity and absolutely DESTROYED our belongings. Throughout the entire process, the customer service representatives, on site crew members, as well as company supervisors intentionally misguide customers and then do not return calls/emails. A complete failure in customer support. The company was notified that there was a fight between the crew members at origin that resulted in our belongings being thrown from the truck in a dispute based on lack of loading experience. The crew arrived completely unprepared with limited packing supplies and asked the customers to supply packing wrap. Not to mention the cigarette burns in our couch cushions from the crew smoking in the truck. The crew mentioned the truck from not packed properly and that he would better wrap our belongings once unloaded at the warehouse so that they could be better protects while in storage; however, this never happened. Absolutely zero respect. Completely unprofessional. The crew leader as well as a company supervisor was made aware of the damages as they were inspected and unloaded from the truck at the destination. The crew was late. We were told that there was nothing Get Movers could do because the office was closed, but don’t worry since they have insurance, and to call customer service the following morning at 10AM for further instruction rather than directing us to the proper company protocols. Get Movers said we never notified the company of any damages, which ultimately resulted in our claim being denied. The allegation that we did not notify the company of damages is absolutely false as the mishandling, lack of care and respect for our belongings was acknowledged by customer service from the point of origin. This company is untrustworthy.

Wow! I am so impressed with this moving company. Our furniture included two TVs, glass table and glass shelving unit. The movers team showed up on time and packed all the fragile pieces of furniture really well. Once we got to our new home, they unloaded and placed my furniture exactly where I wanted it. Everything was in perfect shape. They were fast, efficient, friendly, and so helpful. Their pricing was very competitive. Thank you GetMovers! I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Super moving service!

Just had GetMovers come out to move us from a condo to a house. The staff was professional and helpful from the very beginning when making booking on the phone, and on moving day, the crew was efficient and incredibly competent. Full moving services

We received several services from GetMovers: packing services, junk removal, and storing. All moments on a decent level. We needed to move out of the rented office since our manager found better opportunities for the company. The terms were really tough and I counted o professional support. We received a quick response and planned the process at the call center. The moving was completed in a half-day, after which we placed the belongings in the climate-control storage. All properites were delivered on the week in full safety.

Help with renovation

GetMovers is what you need for office moving. We have a large staff and needed to transport dozens of desks and cupboards. Nothing to say about papers and all other furniture. My priority was high protection for the unique items – I switched the condo and transporting my antique collection was the most complicated moment. Amazing Moving!

This in my first experience with GetMovers and I'm more than satisfied with their services.

Everyone including the office did a great job. Moving is such a stressful time, but our movers made the process pretty easy for me. The crew arrived at 9:00 like it was scheduled. They had their masks on and were equipped with some packing supplies. They moved me very quickly, had a great attitudes and were incredibly professional and friendly.

Without questions, will recommend GetMovers for anyone in Canada! You guys rock!

Fantastic experience. GetMovers were stellar! Polite, professional, conscientious, honest and transparent with their work.
