GetMovers

We had 4 men and two trucks for 4 bedroom house with a garage. Their quote was great. They showed up on time, communicated in advance and were very efficient. They carefully wrapped delicate items and carried all the tools and knew how to deal with problem pieces. They also showed great initiative in working out where things should go when they were unpacking. They disassembled and reassembled our bed like it was nothing. Will definitely use these on next future upcoming moves. Highly recommended.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3140

Our move went very well. Easy to contact, punctual and very careful with our grand piano and furniture. The crew was experienced and a pleasure to work with. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Nancy was very patient and responsive when we had to change the date of our move several times. They were responsive, worked fast, were upfront and honest about cost and really friendly. I recommend them 1000%. Thank you so much for making moving as minimally stressful as possible.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3620

I've used GetMovers for three moves now and have zero complaints. Our most recent move was a two-bedroom apartment. The movers themselves were phenomenal. They complimented us on our packing job and said that it would make the move faster. They didn't complain once about the many stairs they had to carry our stuff down from our old place. More than that, they were extremely careful with everything, even at the end of a long move when we were all exhausted. Moving is a super stressful experience. These guys made everything as smooth as possible. Their estimate was a little more than others we got, but they were worth every penny. I highly recommend them and I will use them again!

These guys are GREAT.

Last week I have used GetMovers' packing, moving & storage services. I appreciated the initial call to ask about the job and explaining about the care they take to protect the things they move. Indeed that is exactly what happened on the day of the move. They were very proficient in the way they packed, wrapped and moved the items to storage. We had a 2 bedroom house, so there was a lot of stuff but they powered on all day only stopping for 2 short breaks. The staff have been professional & helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Given the amount of work done this week, Getmovers also represents great value for money. Well done! Highly recommend!!

Recommended by another who used their service. Great moving company! On time, very helpful, very professional, and affordable. They loaded all our boxes up super quick even though it was a floor walk up. They also disassembled, wrapped and loaded our larger pieces of furniture. Once we got to Hamilton 3rd floor walk up they unloaded and reassembled what they took apart. I was very pleased. Since I’m not planning on moving, I’ll recommend them for another. And, PLEASE TIP YOUR MOVERS!!! (They did not ask me to write that.)

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $850

The team were excellent and I would highly recommend to anyone. They were fast and efficient with both packing and moving in to the new property. The team (of two) arrived slightly early and were very friendly and professional, nothing was too much trouble. We had some issues at the new property and they offered advise and handled the situation professionally which was a real relief to us. Everything went where it was required and nothing was damaged. Could not recommend enough!

I called 4 other companies and they all quoted HUGE amounts because they knew I had an emergency. I saw the reviews for Get movers as I was on the phone with another company. Called and Dominic said I am going to make sure you are taken care of. I can't even say enough for their customer service so far.

They came at 8a.m. Loaded all house hold goods and was unloaded by 4p.m. Price was very good. Sure would use them again. Very pleased. Thank you so much for rescuing me!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $860

My wife and I have a small furniture business. I called Getmovers and got a great Customer Service person who set everything up within a few minutes for the following day. I got email verification and within an hour.

The following day, right on time the lead team member arrived and walked through everything I needed done. The team of 2 had everything done in the arranged time and exactly as we asked.

I truly am impressed with the service and the concept. I know we will use them again. The cost was minimal and the service outstanding. Thank you!

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $670

Highly recommend! I had a last minute move due to shipping a pod across the country and not knowing exactly when it would arrive. When it did arrive, I called around and the first few places I called had no availability. Dominique got back to me after hours and scheduled a move for the next day. They gave me a window of when they would arrive and they arrived right at the beginning of the window. Jason and Alex then proceeded to unload the u-haul and had everything done in 50 minutes! Both of them were incredibly fast and conscious of making sure to unload everything without damage and we're super nice and fun to talk to. Two great guys that I knew right away I would trust with moving everything. I recommend this company with any move you have and will absolutely use them for any future moves.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $500

When I called to get a quote, the young man made sure that I understood the quote. He was accommodating to our schedule and was able to get us scheduled within two days of our request. The guys that packed up our storage unit and unpacked it at our condo were careful with our belongings and very personable to interact with. We had a few pieces of large furniture and lots of boxes. They managed the stairs well with no dings or scratches. Would definitely hire these movers again!!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $900

Terrible movers! This would be the 3rd moving company I have used. These movers showed up 2 hours late and brought used boxes which initially I was

quoted 4$ a box and were not professional packers; rather than put stuff in boxes they wrapped my baskets with cloths in it with tape on my clothes and left stuff in each room in cupboards/drawers/on the floor. By 10 at night they weren’t done. So needed them to come back another day which they quoted me a new quote. The day they were to come they were supposed to be there at 6 pm and called abs in said they weren’t gong to show up until 9pm. No thank you. I hired a new company who was amazing…and they never game me back my 50$ deposit for the second day they were supposed to come. So many moving companies out there do not use these guys! These guys cost me another 1000$

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2200

We hired get movers for a long distance move from Niagara to Chatham Kent ( approx 3 hours away). I was originally quoted 1800.00, and was told they would arrange a storage place in our new area, because we had 3 weeks before our next closing date. I had to arrange the storage place myself, and ended up with a 2800.00 bill for the first part of our move- which I found VERY dishonest. I gave those movers the address to the storage place with the access code and pad lock and key, so on our next moving date they would pick our things, and meet us at our new place. When moving day came, the team was different, and had no idea what I was talking about, and that I had to meet them at the storage place with the key ( and this is 25 mins away from our new home). Had to go all the way there to let them in ( thank goodness I had a spare key!!) It wasn't the 2nd teams fault, they were very nice! But who ever is in the office DEFINITELY needs to be more organized! Also the first team was quite rude, extremely slow and were complaining the entire time. After all the good reviews I had read, I was expecting a better experience!

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $4100

From the office staff to the crew members and crew leaders, my wife and I had a great experience.

Our movers very professional and courteous. They explained the paperwork before I signed anything. They really took care of my furniture as if it was there own. They wrapped my dresser and tv stands so that no damage would come to them. They placed everything where I needed them to. If I ever have to move again I would definitely use this company once more. The price was better than any other company I had quoted. Thanks for helping make this transition to my new home smooth. Will definitely use y’all again!
