Excalibur Moving Group

I recently moved from Destin FL to Conroe TX. I called many moving companies in my area and Excalibur Moving Group was the most affordable. They showed up on time, were very quick and efficient but was still friendly enough to leave a lasting impression. They beat us to our new house so we didn't wait at all.They also took the time to ensure all my stuff was in the right room. This was important to me, so I that I didn't have to move anything again due to my bad back. I would definitely refer these guys to my friends and family.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $900

Im not usually one for reviews, but I cannot say enough positive things about Excalibur Moving Group - they really exceeded my expectations and made a normally time consuming and stressful moving process such a breeze. I felt like their prices were reasonable and they were super accommodating about working around my schedule and showed up exactly when they said they were going to. They were incredibly efficient moving my furniture, boxes, etc. and took special care to ensure nothing was damaged (I have a couple antique pieces and large mirrors I was really worried about). I have had major issues with almost every other moving company I have used in the past (some have been late, some didn't show up at all, one seriously damaged my furniture, I even once was robbed) so to find a quality company that ACTUALLY takes care of their clients is so refreshing. Would definitely recommend this moving company to all friends and family in the area and will be using them again in the future for my next move. Thanks again for all your help!!

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2000

Doubled fee upon pickup. Quoted 6000$ for 4 bedroom house, charged 11,000$. We did a thorough itemization of household goods, listed everything down to blinds. Paid for full service move yet had to pack half of it. They hired Oasis Moving out of Las Vegas (another horrible company-stole my hand truck). Charged for “shuttle fee” to transfer from semi to small truck for drop off but they used the semi and kept the 750$. Lost over 1100$ dollars of tools and kitchen items and broke a lot of furniture and pictures but say none of this is their problem. That’s if you can even get thru to them. I sit on hold for 35 minutes on average then get disconnected upon transferring me.

DO NOT USE THEM! Charge you 30$/kitchen box, 20$/large box and 15$/ medium box.

Called to get a small refund for the “full service move” that didn’t happen and they basically said, “you signed the papers” so it’s not our problem. They said they were listening and trying to address my problem but never once showed any concern about anything I mentioned to them. Kept going to, “you signed the papers”.

They have absolutely no desire to follow thru on promises.

Crooked to the core. Avoid at all costs. That includes Oasis from Vegas.

Excalibur Moving Group is a company you can trust. They saved us a lot of worry and pain. The big move was scary. My wife and I suffer with spine problems and moving seemed impossible, but Excalibur Moving Group solved our problems and made everything easy.

The sweet lady on the phone was patient with our many questions and helped us plan the whole move, including packing. She suggested things we would’ve never thought of, like insurance on my wife’s jewelry (huge peace of mind) and a trailer for the car. It made sense to fly, it saved us from hours of back pain and adding extra mileage on the car.

Packing took longer than expected, but I was happy they took the time to wrap our breakables with care and labeled the boxes. The moving guys were on-time and polite, and most important nothing was damaged. I was impressed. Excalibur Moving Group is excellent from start to finish and my wife and I recommend them to everyone.

I knew that I wouldn't be able to move all of my belongings from state to state by myself, so I called Excalibur Moving Group. That was the start of my pleasant experience with Excalibur.

The phone receptionist was very polite when talking to me and Excalibur as a whole was prompt and courteous. On the day of the move, they were scheduled to be there at 10 am, and they actually arrived an hour earlier so they could help me finish getting ready to move quicker.

They transported all of my belongings for me and none of them were damaged when they arrived. I would recommend Excalibur to anyone that needs to move across states.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $1500

My most recent move was done with the help of Excalibur moving group. I knew going into the apartment search that I was not going to be moving my own belongings for a second time. The first time was too much for me.

A quick call had me scheduled and ready to go, I knew my price upfront and when I could expect the movers.

The day rolled around, the movers showed up right as expected and packed the truck at lightning speed but also I felt as if they really cared about the protection of my belongings. Asking questions like is this box fragile? Can we stack things on it?

The move in was a breeze and made me feel relaxed. All I had to do was unpack boxes and arrange my stuff.

All in all they made a very stressful move into a breeze!

I definitely made the right choice when I chose the Excalibur Moving Group. Their process moving me from Mississippi to Florida was quick, painless, and stress free. It became clear to me that any other moving company just couldn’t be as good as this one.

I especially enjoyed the customer service in this company. Everyone listened and accommodated to my specific instructions with things such as taking care of fragile boxes and where to place certain other ones.

We were so pleased with this company that I know I would absolutely choose them when or if I decide to move again, although I’m very happy where I am now.

Overall, the Excalibur Moving Group was 100% worth my time. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to get from state-to-state quickly and easily.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1300

Excalibur underestimated my move by $7,000. when the movers from United Moving came to house they raised the estimate to 7,000. Even though Excalibur worked a deal with the movers it still cost me $2,000 more. They also hire the cheapest movers they can find. Movers were not polite to my wife and even asked for a tip. The truck they used to haul the furniture I would not use to haul my horses. It leaked and was very small so they had to cram everything in. Worst yet they ran out of room on vehicle so just got in truck and left. I had to sell at a huge loss a refrigerator, washer, dryer, 2 couches and a grill. I have asked for compensation for this loss but I can not get anyone to reply. I guess they got my dollars now. good luck if you decide to use this company and United Movers.
