I move regularly and almost always do everything myself or with friends and family because I don’t trust other people with my stuff. It’s always a long and tedious process but at least I know my belongings are being handled with care. This year I decided to change things up because I didn’t have the time to do everything myself and my friends and family were out of town. I used Excalibur Moving group after one of my coworkers who had just recently moved suggested it to me. I cannot say enough good things about them. The movers were prompt and handled my stuff with care, and the rates were very reasonable. One of the concerns I had going in was that the heavier furniture that I borrowed from my parents would end up getting scratches, or worse damaged but that was not the case! What more can you ask for? I am definitely going to use them again and would recommend that anyone needing a moving service keep Excalibur Moving Service in mind.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $500

As a 21 year veteran of the armed forces, I moved a lot. This was by far the worst I experienced. Because of an error by their dispatcher, they had to rebook my move at the last minute, causing me to pay a huge premium on the per hour cost of the truck and crew. On top of that, they selected a truck/crew from 6 hours away for my local move, which resulted in me paying $900 for travel time (even though it was Excalibur's fault). Finally, I was told that I would only pay for the packing materials I actually used. The driver insisted that I had to pay for all $1018 of packing materials that he brought, even though I'm sure I used less than $200 because I had packed almost everything before they arrived. In all, I paid at least $2500 more than I should have per Excalibur's contract and promises. Finally, once I paid my large deposit to guarantee my move date, I was woefully unsuccessful in getting anyone to return my call and discuss the issues I was experiencing.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6900

The first time I moved from one state to another, I just packed my car up and drove. More recently having to relocate wasn’t as easy, as I have accumulated so many things. I basically needed a whole house moved! I used Excalibur Moving Group as my moving service after hearing about it from a family member and doing some research online. I wanted to use a reliable company that wouldn’t cost me an arm and leg. I was very pleased with this moving service. All my belongings were kept intact and were right at my new location when I arrived. Their professionalism and great customer service made this relocation stress free for me and my family.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1300

This company is horrible! Run!

They doubled my original quote 3 days before the move.

They told us 2-10 days. Our stuff arrived on day 23!

3 pieces of furniture were broken. Several items left disassembled with missing screws.

The movers/drivers do not speak English, and there is no way to communicate with them. They hire anyone off the street from Craigslist at delivery.

Customer service is rude and will never return your calls. You will sit on hold forever and they will give you excuses.

Helped us move from Jax down to Boca when we ran into some last-minute complications. Life-savers! Called them in the evening and had help shortly after noon the next day. I can't guarantee they can do it that quickly for everybody, but we just had a little extra we needed help with and it made things so much easier.

The service cost is approximate as it's been a bit of time and I don't remember exactly. I just remember it was a lot cheaper and definitely less disruptive to our lives, than making another round-trip from Boca to Jacksonville (Neptune Beach if you know the area).

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $250

STAY AWAY, RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN!

We are lodging a legal complaint probably a class action law suite against this company, gathering clients with similar complaints! They have not only demanded twice the money, shipment is not here, and we are sleeping on floor, buying new clothes, utensils and shoes for everyday living. They wrote an official email (below for details) and never even refunded money or have any idea when the shipment will arrive. We have probably made over 20 calls with no call back or reply. They always say we will call back but never do. Agent KYLE - nothing short of a crook. Below is their email.
