I recently reached out to use this company for an upcoming move from Atlanta to Michigan. I spoke with TJ who provided a reasonable quote. After making my down payment I never received a receipt. I reached out to TJ and he said their billing folks were behind and I would receive confirmation soon. Days later I still never received anything. After looking online this seemed to be a pattern. They would take customers funds, and never provide the service. When I called to cancel and get a refund and receipt that I even paid they were nonchalant and told me I needed to email them. I am within my ten day window so I hope they honor their cancellation policy, but I am really nervous that this is going to be a huge ordeal. My advice, pay the extra money and go through someone reputable.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5088

Do not use this company!!! First off, Susan, the head of customer service is the rudest person I have ever spoken with. They called 2 days prior to my son making a move from a small town in Texas to Iowa going over his inventory, so we're thinking everything is fine. The next day, Susan, calls me to say they don't have a truck to move him. He literally had to leave his apartment on the move day and be 1500 miles in two days to get his new place. She threatened to hang up on me because I wasn't listening to her when in fact she wasn't listening to what this was causing for us. When I had my husband contact her, she was rude to him as well. I never write reviews and often look at poor ones as people that are just expecting too much but I'm telling you, this has been one heck of an issue. So much so that I will never use a moving company again, rather my son can sell his things or donate them. They connected us to other movers that they should have never done because that proved to be terrible, as well. My son started his job with no clothes or furniture because this company was unreliable. It took 2 weeks to get his things and they came short with several pieces not to mention a double zelle payment that we are currently disputing.(there was an error and then a double payment was made) we're trying to get it back from this other moving company. So there it goes, do not use them!!!

Sales team seems amazing. So nice at first, convincing you that they are honest and reliable... and then you realize how evil these people are. They only call your right phone number when they ask you for money. Refused to give me my deposit back despite service not being completed when promised. Impossible to get ahold of. Also amazing how the manager goes from being so nice to SO RUDE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The positive reviews have to be fake. My experience was exactly in line with every single negative review to the point where I felt I was reading my own story.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $2400

So set everything up with Everest and made it very clear I needed to pay for everything with a credit card they said ok and found me a mover. I paid them then the mover once all my stuff was loaded, now the mover calls me and says their credit card company closed their account and the charge they hit me with was supposedly returned and they will no longer accept a credit card as payment and they want me to pull 4,200 out of my behind and wire transfer it to them. I then contacted Everest Relocation since they are the ones I agreed to do business with and they tell me they can't do anything and this is now my problem, and I have yet to get a reply from the person whom I originally dealt with there would reassured me they would through whatever until I got my stuff delivered. Everest Relocation is trash and worthless.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1205

Signed a contract with them back in March when gas was cheaper and they did not honor the contract. Their system estimated our stuff for 350 cubic feet with extra cubic feet of $3.45. The same system gave me an estimate 420 cubic feet 4 days before the move (by this time I had already moved some of the stuff like the 62” TV and some of the clothes myself so the estimate should have been less) and they were charging me about $9 per cubic feet instead of the contract amount of $3.45 but I had no option but to accept it 4 days before the move. Their driver came in over 3.5 hours late when we had a 4 hr window of moving and decided not to move us. Our small apartment was not worth his time and his Penske rental truck. Susan Key was very rude and hung up on us when we were so desperate for customer support and didn’t know what to do when the driver left us hanging. They did not move us. I put what the next very professional company costed me in the Service cost section because it would not let me save otherwise.

Do not book with this company. They are scam artists. Had a move and signed a contract with them for around $2,600 and once the movers got there they wanted to charge an additional $3,000 and and refused to go by the contract that was initially signed (elevator and moving costs were to be included and once they showed up they went back on the contracts word and charged $75 for each item they used an elevator and additional costs as well that were not outlined. They damaged my property as well. The customer service number is a scam as well and they will not answer your calls (they say you need tot all to Susan but somehow she’s “busy” all the time. They also lied and said that they promised delivery within 1-3 days and I got told on the day of that it would take them 24 days. Reporting them to the better business bureau and getting an attorney.

Worst experience of my entire life. Was lied to and bullied by sales rep who told us he couldnt get us a contract without a deposit. Red flag number one but we were desperate for moving company. We were ghosted by the sales rep the second we placed deposit- spoke to actual movers and they increased our estimate by $2500 (after sales rep had guaranteed we had “locked in our price”). Sales rep guaranteed delivery in 3 days- mover informed us it would be 10-14 days. Requested repeatedly to speak to someone about the discrepencies and none of our phone calls, texts, or emails were replied to. Finally got ahold of customer service where representative said “youre not getting your money back. have a good day” and hung up. would report to BBB but theyre not even accredited (haha shocking). were out $1,600 and still havent even heard from anyone.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7500

Actual price was over $1000 over quote, was told we went over our cubic feet with no proof other than one of the movers “looking over” our things, rude customer service rep “Susan” essentially called me a liar and talked down to my mother. Two guys I initially got the quote and signed paperwork with won’t return emails, calls or texts. Was told we had to pay the balance that was way over the agreed upon price that day before they would even start loading. And they wouldn’t take a check, banks were closed as it was Friday afternoon and the closest place to get a money order was over an hour away! My mom lost over $1600 deposit. Do not use these people!!!
