It’s a scam!!!

Very professional at first until you pay the deposit to book. After booking, no response or heads up and they missed the pickup window. When they did show up, they tripled the quoted amount! When I canceled staying the quoted amount is a third of what they’re trying to charge, they kept my deposit and wouldn’t give it back because I “cancelled!” They voided the contract when they missed the pickup window and tried to change the amount due but I canceled so I don’t get my money back. Complete scam!!!

These people took my deposit and did not give it back after not following up with the contract date. They did NOTHING but take my money and said they would help me. When? It’s been more than 2 weeks since my move out. Total scam. Watch out for Susan from “customer service” and Anthony “sales”. They said they would give me a partial refund, why partial when the contract was not followed by THEM.

I had no issues with any damaged items

This moving company is absolutely fantastic! The team of movers were professional, friendly and worked together seamlessly to get my move completed quickly and efficiently. The movers handled my items carefully!

The staff members were great, very respectful and kind. Pretty unusual for the moving business. I have had issues with other companies. I got to know the guys at peach through all the charity work they all do around town. Next time we move, they will be our first moving company that we contact and want to hire. Broken, missing pieces, stop answering calls

Stop answering phone calls or text once they take your money. They don’t tell you that they are outsourcing to MULTIPLE different companies so the pick up and delivery dates are WAY off. They don’t even have the names or contact info of the people dealing with your items. Items were lost and unspoken for for weeks. The company they sent to get my things were 3 men asking to follow me to the bank for a bigger tip than I gave. Requesting at least $50 for each person. My things came broken up and pieces missing so they couldn’t put the things they broke down back together. I had to pay someone to do it. When I told them, the man laughed at me and said the things weren’t “that” expensive. The whole process from beginning to end was so bad that I didn’t file a claim or anything. I just wanted to be done and never ever experience movers ever again. At least not this company.

They are great movers!

They stuffed their pickup all of the manner as much as the the front door. I noticed magic proper in the front of my eyes. This agency continues its promise. Make no question approximately it. They do precisely what they declare they'll do, and lots extra. Without a question, they deliver. The ones movers arrived on time desk for the mission and proper now started to paint.

DO not use them . They lie, steal and cheat to get your money. I'm writing these reviews everywhere so that other customers never go through what i have been through. Their sales rep Anthony and Michael Fox will lie and once they get the money they will not back down. Please never use them. These are brokers and not real moving company. I wholeheartedly advise them!

Everest movers did a fantastic job! They were very helpful in trying to find the screws for our bed, even going as far as using their own screws to put our bed together. Luckily, they found the right screws and were able to put together correctly. Best unpacking experience out of all of my moves so far. I highly recommend them for packing and unpacking your household goods.

Not a pleasant customer service experience

The individual that I spoke with over the phone was very rude and unprofessional. Stating I was not a good fit and then they hung up on me while I was still trying to speak, when they had called me. I proceeded to call them back and told them as much. When I asked to speak with a manager. They refused “stating they were the boss”. Not at all a pleasant experience! I’m sure they must be knowledgeable and wonderful at what they do based on the reviews but that has not been my experience.

Find Another Mover or face Price Hikes, Late Pickups, and more

Long story short: the "service" is not worth the money. The company originally quoted me for $2300. Because of that quote we decided to go with Everest instead of ourselves or another company. They were "good" salesman though. The salesman claimed to be a vet and tried to establish trust that we were both military. Against my better judgement I trusted him. I know my fault.

The week we were getting our house moved they called with a bunch of nonsense to "prepare me" for a price hike. They quote changed to $6700! I expressed my concerns politely and the QA Manager offered a $1000 discount. While this was frustrating, I was ready to just move on. Mind you this new quote for roughly $5k did not include actual packing like the original $2300 quote. So we are now paying double for half the service.

You would think that would be the end; however! Everest found a way. They had us scheduled for two days considering the size of the move. The "first day" they were supposed to be here they did not reach out. I had to reach out to them. They also decided to cancel that first day and show up only on the 2nd day at 7am. If they could complete the work that would have been fine, but! They did not show up during the time on the 2nd day.

I have been in the Army 12 years and have never had such a horrible experience with a moving company.

Very disappointed. I would highly recommend seeking another company / moving yourself.

Do not work with this company

Do not work with Everest Relocation, highly likely you’ll get ripped off. After signing with them (when I was assured I could cancel within 3 days for a full refund of my deposit), I found out through on-line complaints they often show up and demand significantly higher fees and essentially hold your move hostage. Upon discovering this, I called to cancel and ask for the refund I was promised by Matt. They assured me I’d get my refund, the move was canceled, and there was nothing more to do. Matt even convinced me to give them another shot to provide an accurate estimate, but then never provided one. After that, I got the runaround (send us your request again…now we need an explanation of why you cancelled…oh you canceled too late…no, it wasn't too late, but it’s too close to your move…you can use the refund for your next move, etc…) When I called their bluff and tried to book a small move for the remainder of our stuff, they demanded more money and told me they already gave my deposit to the first movers (the ones they said they canceled).

Detail: On July 11, I spoke with Matthew Murphy. He confirmed verbally 3 times that I could cancel for a full refund if I found a better price up until 3 days before my move.

After getting more quotes that all came to $8,000 and seeing some terrible reviews of Everest, I came to the belief that their quote of $4,000 or so was too good to be true and that they would charge me much more when they came to actually pick up my items. On July 12 I was contacted by Tim with Quality Assurance and I shared these concerns. He asked me to send a more detailed list of my items and he would validate the quote. He put me off saying he had to take his son to the hospital but asked me to send my detailed packing list which I did. Next day he texted me they would figure it out or they would “take care of it.” There is so much more but Google has a character limit. They dodged, weaved, made excuses, lied and failed to accept their employees gave me wrong information that ensured it wasn't even possible for me to book a move with them. And kept my $1000 deposit anyway. And I have documentation on all of it, but they don't care. If they can take your money, they will. Joseph, Tim and Jacob also were part of the scam.

Shady. Don’t lose your money during this stressful time. If you have to use a mover, use one that had high ratings and a history of good service.

What a nightmare working with this company has been. The move ended up costing us over $2,000 more than they quoted, my service agreement was no longer accessible on line to prove what all they had promised in their original quote, they lied to us for 2 days and delayed our move telling us the flatbed that was to move our vehicle was broken down, only to admit later that they never hired anyone to move it. We had to drive two cars to our new destination and it's been twomonths now and they will not refund my deposit. I've been calling them and emailing them with no response or resolution. Do yourself a favor and safe yourself a huge headache, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR RELOCATION NEEDS, They are horrible.
