We had a wonderful experience with sales. They signed us up and “promised” door to door delivery and more. We signed a “binding estimate.” However, the mover did not show up on time. We were told that the truck broke down. When a mover finally arrived it was one man and a Uhaul. We were charged an additional $700 over the binding estimate to cover longer walking distance (we had already paid for a longer distance and were fine paying a bit more). However, $700 is a stretch. “Susan” in customer service is to be avoided at all cost. In all of my years in customer service I have never communicated with someone as over bearing as she. ALSO, in spite of the “binding estimate” the mover refused to take a number of items we had pre-agreed to in the contract. The driver simply refused, saying that he did not have room! So, in the end, we paid $700 more than the “binding estimate” and could not move the things that were included in the the original contract.

I reached out to American Van Lines for a cross country from Milwaukee to Houston. Everest Relocation ended up calling me as American Van Lines just sent out my inquiry to multiple movers. I spoke with a moving specialists Jay that sold me on their service.

To make a very long story short this is not a moving company they are a booking company. They take the down payment and source out your move to other movers.

Well I got the short end of the stick and got the worse moving company I could imagine!

I was charged hidden fees by a moving company that Everest sourced out my move to (MSN Logistics) that was not discussed or disclosed to me in the original contract I signed with them.

I was charged wrapping fee($400), quote unquote overage on square footage ($500) even though half of what was on the inventory list was not even on the truck.

Had to rent a Uhaul trailer because half of my stuff did not get on the truck ($1000)

Additional charges on delivery: elevator fee ($100) a fee for distance(1st 75ft is free after that 75$ per 75ft) ($375).

When I called their customer service person Susan after our initial conversation she told me their was nothing they could do and got VERY RUDE WITH ME AND HUNG UP THE PHONE.

The moving company they booked (MSN Logistics) was very unprofessional as well and didn't handle my things with care, some things were broken.

I am out of almost $2K on top of the $5K I spent on just the truck.

This company took food out of my mouth and is causing me to struggle to pay my bills because of the additional overages I did not plan for nor expected and nobody cares that they lied to me about their service.

Susan, their customer service agent is just terrible.

PLEASE JUST SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE AND FIND ANOTHER COMPANY.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7000

THEY HAVE TO BE SUED AND CHARGED FOR FRAUD!!!!

They gave me a quote for a 2 bedroom assuring me that 286 cubic feet would be enough. And that even if I forgot a few items, 1cf over those 286 cf would be $4.50 charged additional. I signed. 640 deposit out of 1900 total balance.

They call me 2 days before the move to confirm the adress and I told them I forgot an accent chair and a nightstand. They said that now I went up to 350 cf and increased my balance to $800 above The initial balance and the rep was incredibly rude. I told them what was in the contract and that I’d pay 4.50 per cf when they actually tell me the exact cubic footage. They said that by paying what they are asking me ($800 more) movers won’t increase the price once they come for pick up, because they do that all the time. I refused because I knew I didn’t have more.

They sent a mover a day before the scheduled date, called me 4 times saying that I had 1300 cf (insane) and that I had to agree to pay $6000 for them to start working. I then ask them what are the items I have that would cost me that much but they couldn’t tell me.

I told them to take what was on my listing and that was it. I would only pay more with proof of actual cubic footage. They Just hung up on me when I tried to understand and asked the mover to leave.

I called the mover to know what happened and he told me that his supervisor asked him to leave and he had no idea. Even if he told him that the job could be done.

I then Got a call from SuSan from customer

Service who literally yelled at me when I tried to explain the situation that I had to pay what they asked me 2 days before the move. That she does not argue with children and hung up on me. She then sent me several texts to tell me that I cancelled my move and I won’t get a refund.

I sent an email to ask for a refund and no answer. luckily my deposit was made with a credit card and I disputed that charged for service not rendered (with enough proof…)

I called another company. The came and made an estimate in person and it turns out I had 550cf.

Basically I paid $640 deposit (that I borrowed) off of a 1900 balance. For it to increase to $2700…. Then $6000 and nothing was picked up.

PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE HEADACHE. DONT BOOK WITH THEM. THEY SCAM PEOPLE. THEY ARE NOT MOVERS. THEY HIRE MOVERS, QUOTE YOU AT THE LOWEST TO MAKE YOU SIGN. THEN THREATEN YOU ON PICK UP DAY AND DO EVERYTHING TO RIP YOU OFF.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They are all unprofessional. Chole has been nice and understanding however the customer service manager Susan is a piece of work. She never returned my calls but chose to communicate thru text messages. Adam, the rep that I initially worked with promised to have my items delivered at a certain date and that he would be with me throughout the process...he stopped taking my calls. Everest Relocation hires a third-party to move your things and when that happens, they no longer work with you. They do not know your status of your items or your move. Be ware that this is not being told when you work with them. Susan is very unprofessional and rude. She does not have the customer's best interest at all. Just got off the phone with her and she started all yelling and not given me a chance to speak, even though I have been in contact with her since a week now. She decides to answer my call all defensive because I told the rep that I will be calling every 2 hours to find out where my things are. UNPROFESSIONAL AND DO NOT USE THEM!! I don't even care if they see this review.

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS IN UNITED STATES. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL . CHEATERS.

I Was given an estimate amount of $1800 and was told goods will be delivered on time but ended up paying $2300. Below are the series of Incidents happened .

1.)Driver who came to pickup the goods has bluffed us and got $500 assuring that it would be adjusted in the bill and this is towards the moving and binding estimate mentioned on the bill . Once after the goods are picked-up he is not reachable at all, and upon checking with customer care , they are telling driver mentioned we gave $500 as tips to the drivers and they are not responsible.

2.) Delivery of goods took lot of time and i had to follow up with them repeatedly on the status and on the $500 which we paid extra to the driver to be adjusted towards the bill . But they never adjusted that amount against the bill and Driver is not reachable.

3.) Delivery happened only after paying the entire amount and they were not ready to deliver the goods until the full amount is paid . Finally they delivered the goods in a very bad state , everything damaged and 2 items were missing .

They are not even providing the final payment receipts and all the payments are being requested through Zelle/Venmo/Cashapp.

4.)Not able to reach them to check on the missing items, they are not attending the calls and not responding to emails either .

First, beware: Everest Relocation also operates as and does business under the name National Relocation Group as well.

As any citizen, I have had minor instances with businesses – we all have – but I have never felt compelled enough to write an actual review(s) about said person or business. That is until now.

It has been three days since my items were delivered, and I am just now able to actually sit down and write out what happened. I am actually still traumatized and genuinely afraid of each company’s response to my review, as I was threatened, yelled at, and verbally abused by Everest Relocation/National Relocation Group’s contracted moving company, Easy Moving’s CEO Shadi Qarmout. I was also threatened by Everest Relocation/National Relocation Group’s contracted moving company, Jennifer Dehaas of Jennifer Movers and Packers/Movers and Packers Relocation Services – I was told I would not receive my items after questioning the validity of the fraudulent cubic foot upcharge.

To help mediate and resolve the situation, I contacted the broker representative Susan of Everest Relocation/National Relocation Group to understand the error in calculation: I was initially quoted $3500 for 388 cu ft by Ben, an Everest Relocation/National Relocation Group representative. The day of the move, my total estimate jumped to $6200 and a total of 900 cu ft.

In the beginning Susan was amenable and compassionate, and expressed genuine confusion as well, but when I continued to follow up with her to meditate the situation and explain the upcharge from the contracted moving company Jennifer Movers and Packers / Movers and Packers Relocation Specialists, she did exactly what another user expressed: she became irritated, got rude, and actually hung up the phone. She was unwilling to even discuss any further issues. I hit a wall with Everest Relocation/National Relocation Group’s contracted moving company Jennifer Movers and Packers / Movers and Packers Relocation Specialists, who were also unwilling to explain or discuss the upcharge.

All of this is to say: if I were you, I would not hire this moving broker. Save yourself the trouble and heartache.

Getting a quote was fairly easy, but no one tells you this co. Is the brokers for the tracking CO’s:(( that’s when the problems starts. No one tells you how the real process is. Different people call you each w diff info. Finally Pro Smart Trucking Co pick our stuff. They emphasize you understand the deliver may take up to 21 days but in the meantime time they tell you they are on the way. You call for the status, and they say.. “ oh sorry the driver hasn’t left yet. The frustration is not been able to talk w only one person to make things clear for you from the beginning. It’s been 12 days and no clue where our belongings are. The trucking Co blames the brokers for not being straight forward. And brokers are just there to get your business.

Was given an original quote and provided a down payment. Quote was reasonable and there was an expectation it would increase once I had a better idea of what I was bringing with me. I put $1400 as a down payment. So they called to confirm and I did add additional items but the cost more than doubled and was told I owed an additional $1600 and couldn’t use my card had to pay it through debit/ACH. I was told my balance would be $2800 and I owe $1400 upon pick up and $1400 upon delivery. My original quote I was told I owed $700 upon pick up and $700 upon Delivery.

As if that didn’t upset me enough, when the movers come, I find out the company was outsourced and they don’t in fact work for the moving company. This was never explained to me as in the original conversation I was told they had a mover down there looking to get a ride back so they would only charge me one way. The movers come and I’m told that it could even be more than what we discussed, they don’t accept credit cards, only cash or check. Again this was never communicated. Then I’m reading agreement and they charge for wrapping some items and usage of tape etc. which was also never communicated to me. I was told they world wrap items for me and not to worry, but never told it would cost additional. Also in agreement I see they charge for stairs. Again, something never communicated.which would be nice since I live on the 3rd floor. So all in all my reasonable quote turned into way more money than I anticipated. I was even told to call around and if I found a better price that they would match or refund me, however, they conveniently forgot to mention all the other costs and now I’m stuck having to pay it because it’s too late to get matching quotes or another company. Im disappointed in how little communication there was. Im sorry I chose to do business with this company. They just fail to communicate the actual cost up front. Even after I removed items from my list the day of move , the cost didn’t adjust much and wasn’t even close to the original quote as it more than doubled. Their prices far exceed other companies since I had a 2bdrm condo that I didn’t move any bdrm furniture except 1 bureau and I didn’t move any living room furniture except a side table. And when the truck was packed I was told I owed $2000 and would owe another $2000 upon delivery.
