Office move

Diamond Relocation was 1 out of 3 companies I reviewed to help with office moving and I have to say they were great to work with! From the timely estimate all the way to last set of chairs they took to their truck. Their entire team was professional and responsive. I will be using them in the future and will be recommending them to other people in need of movers.

Excellent!

The experience was excellent! The team was so quick and efficient. I was fully out of one home and fully into the next in only a matter of hours. There was constant communication on the process and what I thought was going to be a stressful process turned out to be super easy and smooth. Terrible experience

Terrible experience all around. Got a quote and booked our move with diamond relocation April 20th for our May 10th move from Halifax to Ottawa. Mark was friendly and helpful on the phone while booking the move. I mentioned multiple times that we needed the truck to be there on the 10th as we were also driving to Ottawa and had already booked hotels along the way and I needed to be in Ottawa for work starting April 15th. He assured me it would be there on the 10th at noon. I sent a $200 deposit. In the following weeks I sent Mark an email just looking for a confirmation that everything was still in place as this move was very important to me. I didn’t receive a response. 3 days later I sent another email as I was now beginning to get concerned that I had been scammed. He responded the next day with “we have all your information”. No “Hello” no “Thank you” just “we have all your information”. Now fast forward to May 9th at 1pm. Mark calls me. I see his name come up on my phone expecting it to be a confirmation call. He begins the phone call with “hello I’m just giving you a courtesy call to let you know your move has been delayed to May 16th”. A COURTESY CALL!!!! 23 HOURS BEFORE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE AT MY DOOR. I explain to him that is unacceptable. We have a 2 month old baby and the move out date of our house was May 13th. He continues to act like he is doing us a favour by calling us to let us know he isn’t gonna to be showing up. I reiterate how unprofessional this is and he then gets aggressive towards me asking me if I want my $200 deposit back and hangs up on me. Obviously there are no other moving companies that will do a long distance move 1 day in advance. So now I need to book a uhaul, pick it up the next morning, load it myself (while my wife takes care of our newborn baby) and then drive it 1500 kms while my wife, baby and dog follow me in our suv. I hope this helps some of you make the decision to book any other moving company. I understand that times are tough in all business but that is no excuse to treat somebody the way Mark treated us.

Professional Service

I have lots of heavy expensive furniture and these guys were so cautious and disciplined in their work. Everything arrived to the new house in perfect condition and they positioned all the furniture inside the rooms until we were happy with the arrangement. They were very patient, courteous and unlike other moving companies we hired to move in the past, they didn't make any unnecessary delay! They worked nonstop until the job was done. Extremely professional and they gave me the most competitive price than the other companies quoted for the move.

Damaged and loss items

This company was affordable, showed up on time to move things to destination. Delivery date was changed and we accommodated the change. Upon delivery, scratches were noticed on furniture and a large rip on leather bench, and 1 item was missing - New never used Air Fryer still in the original box. Claim was submitted for damages and loss item but the company is refusing to reimburse, advising that we will not been covered.

They were recommended to us by a friend who had moved a few months earlier. We spoke to Mark and he gave us an reasonable estimate that was better than any other we received. Smooth Movers

It was great working with Diamond Relocation. The staff and the movers who helped us were very professional, diligent and prompt. They wrapped our furniture for storage, and moved everything down our buildings very narrow staircase without any issue. They did a great job!

Moving experience

Our experience with Diamond Relocation was excellent. Pricing was fair, staff was courteous and professional and they were extremely helpful leading up to the move. On the day of our move, the team showed up as expected, took a walk through the home to get our instructions and worked quickly and efficiently from there on out and handled our belongings with care. The movers were great to work with and did a fantastic job getting everything done for us and actually completed the move just under the low end of time on the estimate. Highly recommend this moving company.

Movers were organized and handled things effectively. They were careful while moving large furnitures and had everything needed for wrapping and protection. You could tell they were professional by seeing the equipment they had for moving. While arrived at the new place, they listened to your instructions by putting stuff wherever you needed. We were so worried about the queen size bed frame since it is so heavy with six drawers. But the team handled it really well. Overall, great experience and effective communications. Highly recommend!

Worst experience

I made really big mistake by choosing diamond relocation etobicoke for moving actually the management is poor specially mark who is the manager of this company.when you will reach this company for quote , he responds so politely and once you give them deposit he don’t care about your call ? or stuff .they will not answer your call .really worst experience . Moreover they will charge you according to their wish because they don’t weigh your stuff in front of you.

The movers were very professional throughout the entire move. Were so rude to ask extra money when they arrived

Th guys in Vancouver were so rude and demanding 150 CAD for not being able to open the ramp of their truck and 150 CAD extra money for 1 hour and 20 minutes of delay in locking and setting up the elevator.

1- For not being able to open their ramp, it was not my problem that their truck was big. My stuff could be delivered by small truck as well. In this case they were supposed to notify us regarding their big truck.

2- guys were 1 hour late in origin to load their truck. Why I should pay for 1 hour late in unloading then?

3- They made my wife anxious for getting money. She is expecting and it was her 7th months of pregnancy.

4- They damaged the wall of the building. I noticed that when they were left. Don't let them leave prior to inspection.

5- Some stuff such as e-bike seat and wood desk were damaged.

6- They didn't apply any discount of students on my moving.

I wish I could give them 'zero' .They cancelled on us very last minute

I wish I could give them 'zero'. They cancelled on us very last minute and postponed the pickup ruining all our plans and arrangements. The guy spoke on the phone was "Steve" and was very rude and wasn't even sorry for that and just kept saying driver cancelled and wasn't even attempting to provide other options. I wouldnt recommend their service at all if you had planned anything ahead in your schedule.THE WORST PART WAS THEY EVEN DENIED TO RETURN MY DEPOSIT. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THIER FAULT ULTIMATELY.

I called Diamond Relocation at the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. Four men and two trucks showed up and made short work of our move. They were professional, courteous, and prompt. We were moving a 4 bedroom home we had been in for over 30 years so there was loads of stuff. I coordinated the move over the phone and the office was responsive and accurate. Nothing was broken and the guys took great care in packaging items for the short across town move. The unpacking was done promptly and they placed the items where we had marked them to go. We had labeled all the boxes with room numbers to aid in the unpacking. I would definitely use Diamond Relocation again and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a local move. 5 stars, guys!
