I am incredibly disappointed with the way this move was packed. If I knew this was the quality of care of my items would receive, I would have hired amateurs.

1. Not one single wardrobe box used a bar for the hangers. Instead, the clothes were tossed in with other items on top of them. Items that were ready-to-wear now need to return to the dry cleaners for pressing.

2. Books were tossed in without consideration for their value to me nor the damage that could occur. Literally tossed in. I have first edition novels that are now bent.

Breakables were tossed in with misc items without even being wrapped – and even included plants! There is now dirt over everything that was in that box.

3. The couch legs were found in two separate boxes, electrical items were not packed with their cords (we’re still trying to match cords to items) and we’re still hunting for food boxes as absolutely nothing was labeled.

4. Some artwork was wrapped nicely and others weren’t wrapped at all - as such, one-of-a-kind artwork is forever scratched.

5. Speaking of wrapping, it was so hap-hazard. Acrylic (ie: scratchable) tables had the tops wrapped but not the bottoms - leaving parts covered and parts exposed. On one of our very expensive shelving units, the glass part was wrapped but not the paint so now the paint is scratched. This is not fixable - this is now just how the furniture has to be.

This said, I commend the three men who did the unloading. They were careful and considerate and friendly. They weren’t about rushing through the day but about making sure they did a great job, checking in with me as they went to make sure I didn’t have any concerns. I do not want this email to reflect on the them at all.

As mentioned in my email to the company (that went without response): while items may seem like nothings to the movers, they are important to the customer. Treating their items with care and foresight should be a basic tenant of offering moving services. This is something that movers need to know and believe. Otherwise, your workers will continue to offer sub-par servicing.

Once they pick up your belongs they stop returning calls and emails. My belongings were promised to be delivered within 7-10 days. Its been 10 days of me calling and emailing just trying to figure out an estimated arrival date. Nothing..... finally after getting to my new home and having nothing to put in it for days, I get a call saying sorry it was delayed and hasn't even shipped yet so they estimate it will be another 10 days..... im trying to go to school and im 4 days away from all of my family and friends with absolutely no belongings. Also theyre were tons of hidden fees that were not mentioned in the quote so I payed over 2 grand for them to not deliver my belongings. I really hope this review saves you from the stress im under because of this company. Im sitting in an empty apartment, depressed. Thanks diamond relocation!

I booked with this company to move from NS to Ontario. I was told I would hear from the driver the day before with a timeframe of when they would show up. At 730pm when I hadn’t heard from them I called the company and left a message. The morning of my move (today) at 9am I still hadn’t heard from them so I called again. When I called, I was informed the truck was full and they would need to reschedule my date. I needed to be out of my apartment by 12pm (3 hours!!!) and catch a flight as well. I was informed they “should have informed me yesterday” but didn’t. So my father and brother were left scrambling to find alternative arrangements. If I hadn’t called when I did, I would have been sitting around waiting for them to not show up. From the day I booked until today, the communication has been very lacking. Unanswered emails, unreturned phone calls, voicemails and text messages. The whole experience seemed very unprofessional. I am now waiting for my deposit back.

We moved recently from Ontario to Quebec. They seemed all nice and great until they got there! They demanded more money, totes that are used to moved the requested it be put in a box that they were going to charge 50.00. They charged us to box the TVs which was fine, but the TV were still damaged. The night before they arrived they called and demanded that I send an e-transfer, even though Mark told me I could pay by credit card when they arrived. I was told they would not deliver our stuff unless I sent it. We spoke about what we were told by Mark and the lady said they would be arriving at 5am and would not wait for us to pay, either we send the money or we don't get our stuff. 4 Boxes are missing, 2 TVs broke, the driver broke the leg off the coffee table in front of us.

They charged $1000 more then what they quoted, charged for wrapping and boxes that we were not told about - although Mark will swear at you and tell you to read your contract, there is no where in the contract that states anything about boxes. Demand cash or a transfer prior to arrival. I sent them the form for the damages and now I cannot get a response. There was a recent article put out by Marketplace and I'm wondering if this is the same situation. Either way I would advise staying away from this compnay.

Took advantage of my elderly mother. Charged her 100% more than her estimate, and left her sleeping on an air mattress for 13 days ( as of today - will probably be longer ) as they continue to push back her delivery date. Originally she phoned them on her arrival date to ask if there was an ETA, and they "forgot" to tell her all her stuff was still in storage 3 provinces away. When I phoned to advocate for my mom, it was one of the rudest more disrespectful conversations I've ever experienced, no accountability, just kept saying " it's not our fault ". The MOST unprofessional and criminal company

We moved from ON to BC with this company. We had a really terrible experience. Right after they got the money they didn't take any responsibility for anything. They charged us almost 50% higher than our estimate based on our stuff weight. They also delayed on delivery date without any notice in advance or at least a call or email. They damaged some of our stuff and didn't deliver some pieces of my stuff, when I send them an email and called them about my missing stuff, they aren't responsible at all. The staff was pretty rude, especially Mark. They never answered our email, text, or message at all.

I will claim against them....

Initial contact with Mark to book services was great. He was friendly and booked us in right away. He gave us a timeframe for when our belongings would be delivered and assured us the plan was firm. A few days before the movers were scheduled to come, we started to get worried because we hadn't heard from anyone. We tried to contact the company via phone and email; no answers, no replies. It's now midday on the day of our move and no one has contacted us, and there's no sign of the movers. This is a massive inconvenience and outrageously unprofessional. Looks like we'll be scrambling to find last-minute alternative movers. Based on the other recent reviews I've read about how they're holding people's belongings hostage for payments, damaging items, not delivering for weeks after the scheduled delivery date, charging way beyond initial quoted price, etc., I feel like we dodged a bullet in a way. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

I moved from Halifax to Calgary, and they said that in 15 days our belongings would arrive. It’s almost 2 months now and I still don’t have a clue when or if I will get it. At this point, I’ve been calling them several times per day and Mark just yelled at me over the phone that don’t speak English and am calling them a lot. DON’T HIRE THIS COMPANY. Bad service and BAD customer service. At this point, they should be treating me and my family very differently. My kids don’t have their toys, my husband his work tools and we don’t have our clothing as we only brought to Calgary enough for 1 month. I don’t know what to do and I don’t want anybody to be in the same situation my family and I are!

We had no issues with the pick up on June 10 and were promised a delivery of 7 to 10 days by Mark Russo. We booked airfares and arrived in Calgary based on our items arriving by June 20th. After the 10 days were up we made numerous attempts by telephone and email to get an updated delivery date, but to no avail. Numerous times we called all 3 numbers that is listed under Mark Russo's name in his email. They would not return our emails and calls. We finally got someone to pick up, by using a different phone #, but when we explained who we were, they hung up on us. That's when we got the police involved. With the police's help we finally got an updated delivery date of July 1-3, with the promise of a call the day before. These days came and went without an update, explanation or apology. Delivery finally happened on the 17th of July, 37 days after pickup! Accounting tried to get us to pay for the delivery about 5 days before but we said we would pay when the driver showed up. I would urge you not to pay in advance as they would have no incentive to deliver your things. Also, I would encourage you to report them to the police if they refuse to communicate with you.

This company showed no professionalism or respect for our property by refusing to update us on the whereabouts or condition of our property. By refusing to communicate with us this company showed a total disregard for us and our property. If they explained the situation and the reason for the delay, we would have felt much better. Additionally we incurred lots of extra expenses by having to purchase extra kitchenware, coffeemaker, bedding, clothes etc because of the delay in delivery. I could not recommend this company under any circumstances. Next time I will go with a company that is a member of the Canadian Association of Movers, CAM.

DON'T EVER USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. They only communicate with you when they want your money. Mark, Grace and Brian were extremely disrespectful and did not apologize when our items were a week late. Couch came to us ripped and dirty. I was assured by Mark that they will assemble our furniture upon arrival. Not only did the dispatchers not assemble it, but they also lost some screws for the furniture they originally disassembled. Therefore, I'm not sure if we will be able to use these furniture pieces anymore.

My stepdaughter moved from Calgary to Regina five weeks ago.

Her furniture etc. was picked up three hours late with no communication.

She still hasn't got her stuf. We call them don't answer when they do they transfer you and it goes to voicemail .

When I first complained to them because it was over a week late he was incredibly rude. Each time they give us a date a week down the road and when that time comes it's another week and another. INSANE!!

The police won't do anything.

I am contacting my lawyer and considering a class action lawsuit.

If anyone else wants to consider same contact me.

They need to be STOPPED!!

I moved from Winnipeg to Toronto. Booking process was great, that's where the good stopped. Day of the pickup, no one showed, called and was told they made a mistake and someone would come next day. Truck and guys arrived 4 hours later. Took over a month for some belongings to arrive in Toronto. Was sent a bill for over double what was quoted, paid it and now it's now been another month and lots of missing items with no communication from the company. In the process of filing a police report charging Diamond Relocation with theft.

I am very disappointed. My things were picked up in mid July and I was quoted 10 to 14 days on when I could expect my delivery drop off. It has now been 5 weeks with no updates from the company. I have called weekly for updates to inquire, and each week I was informed that I could expect my delivery within the next several days. It has never arrived. Most recently, I was told that I could expect my things by September. That will be over 6 weeks, with no efforts to expedite the process and no transparency or attempts to rectify the ongoing issues. The issue is still unresolved. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I was moving a 2 bedroom apartment from ON to NS and was quoted $1250 for 2000 lbs. The movers came to pick up my stuff on July 23rd and was supposed to arrive in NS on July 27th. However, I was sent an invoice on July 26th with an adjusted invoice that was double my original quote because they were trying to say my things ended up weighing 6400 lbs which was impossible. The on top of that they kept delaying the arrival each week and I did not end up receiving my things until Aug 16th. I do not recommend booking this company but if you are already stuck with them you can ask for a re-weigh where you witness the truck being weighed with your things on the truck and then again with your things off the truck. They will then adjust your invoice and process a refund. You willl need to pay a $300 deposit first but I ended up saving $1200 by doing this. Do not e-transfer them any money until they arrive with your things! I had a bank draft prepared to hand the driver when he showed up. It is a process but this way you know you are being charged correctly, do not let this company lie to you and charge you an absurd amount. A 3 week delay and a ridiculous upcharge is a horrible way to run a business. PODS and UHaul will be more expensive but at least you can guarantee on time arrival of your things and transparent pricing.

1 star is too many for this terrible company. Do everything you can to avoid them. Do not be fooled by the 'good reviews' you see, as they pop up right after a bunch of terrible reviews have been written by actual customers. We were charged triple what we were quoted and we still have not received our things (it has been over 4 weeks at this point). Every time we call, they push the date back. I am not sure if we will ever get our things. If you are in the Halifax area and waiting to get your things, please email me at al792826@dal.ca and maybe we can get the police involved as a group (they are telling me my things are stuck in the back of a shipping container behind multiple other people's belongings). This company is the worst company I have ever experienced and I cannot believe they are still in business.

This was the worst company I ever delt with. First, the sales person Mark started off with a great interest in helping and moving my stuff, we set up a date for the drop off and all. Then, on the day before this guy named Brian, the operational manager, calls me saying that the date has changed. This guys was so rude, gave me no flexibility, didn’t care about the stress that he had caused me and told me I had no other choice but to take the delivery the same day he called at night. I messaged the first guy Mark, instantly Brian calls me back saying I’m only allowed to deal with him from now on. Finally comes the delivery date, as noted before they have to assemble your stuff together which is part of the contract, the movers little told me they were going to get their tool box downstairs and never came back. They left without notice, left my couch outside on the halway. Not to commend on the ‘surprise’ fees they charged us. I Nélia lê company, DO NOT USE THEM!

I had my son moved from Alberta to Ontario. They picked up the furniture on time and wrapped (at an additional cost) some furniture they felt we should have pre-wrapped i.e. coffee tables. The furniture took 34 days to get here after many calls and not the 7-10 days promised. The furniture was not packed into the truck neatly and when we unloaded, the pieces they wrapped were broken. I sent an email and pics right away and have yet to hear. They also were very sketchy about the weight of my furniture. The truck already had furniture in it when they picked up so we didn't get an accurate weight of our furniture. They do not return calls or emails. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!

Do not use this company. Mark is great but that is where it ends. My furniture was not delivered as promised it was two weeks before I got it and my outdoor table and chairs were missing. Driver said they didn't have room so left them behind and they would be on the next truck, that was July 13th, and they are still not delivered.

My containers were smashed / damaged and most of them were open. Stuff I had in one container had been moved to another container. Where were my belongings held all that time? Anyone could have gone through it while it was there.

I WANT MY OUTDOOR FURNITURE DELIVERED OR REPLACED!

This is the worst moving company i've ever dealt with. They don't even deserve a single star in the rating.

I'll start from the beginning. When i called the company for the first time to book my stuff from winnipeg, the response was so positive and quick. Salesman mark booked the pickup date within 2 hours after calling again and again. That was the only time the company called me. Pickup was booked on 26th june from winnipeg, MB and Mark promised me that he will deliver everything in 8-10 days to Hamilton, ON so we packed almost everything including clothes keeping in mind that we will get our stuff after 10 days.

Drivers come to pick up the stuff on the decided date and left without giving me any paperwork so that i have a record of the pickup. When i asked them for any documentation, he just replied me that company doesn't allow us to hand over any of the documents but if you want you can take a picture of it so i took some pictures and thats the only record i had with me. After pickup, i got no response from the company even after 10 days so i called them and they didn't picked my call or reply to any e-mail for two days. After calling mark again and again, he picked up the call and told me that the delivery has been delayed and he himself doesn't know when i will get my stuff. Long story short, i received my stuff after 33 days on 28th july. During this period, my kids slept on the carpet because of no mattress or anything and we even have to buy more clothings because we packed everything after the promise of 8-10 days.

After receiving the stuff, two suitcases were missing and the driver advised me to call the company and inform them. Since 28th july, no one is picking up my call. I have literally called them about 30-35 times but they picked up just once and after listening to me, he gets me on hold and disconnected the call after 10 mins and the same drama is continued of not picking up the call after that call. I have even sent an e-mail to them thrice but again no reply.

I'm now considering a legal action against them because of this unprofessional behaviour and i will wait till monday and will register a police report against them after that.

I advise all of you to stay away from this company. This is the most worst and unprofessional company you will ever deal with if you hire them. Just stay away from them.
