I had my son moved from Alberta to Ontario. They picked up the furniture on time and wrapped (at an additional cost) some furniture they felt we should have pre-wrapped i.e. coffee tables. The furniture took 34 days to get here after many calls and not the 7-10 days promised. The furniture was not packed into the truck neatly and when we unloaded, the pieces they wrapped were broken. I sent an email and pics right away and have yet to hear. They also were very sketchy about the weight of my furniture. The truck already had furniture in it when they picked up so we didn't get an accurate weight of our furniture. They do not return calls or emails. DO NOT HIRE THEM!!!

Do not use this company. Mark is great but that is where it ends. My furniture was not delivered as promised it was two weeks before I got it and my outdoor table and chairs were missing. Driver said they didn't have room so left them behind and they would be on the next truck, that was July 13th, and they are still not delivered.

My containers were smashed / damaged and most of them were open. Stuff I had in one container had been moved to another container. Where were my belongings held all that time? Anyone could have gone through it while it was there.

I WANT MY OUTDOOR FURNITURE DELIVERED OR REPLACED!

This is the worst moving company i've ever dealt with. They don't even deserve a single star in the rating.

I'll start from the beginning. When i called the company for the first time to book my stuff from winnipeg, the response was so positive and quick. Salesman mark booked the pickup date within 2 hours after calling again and again. That was the only time the company called me. Pickup was booked on 26th june from winnipeg, MB and Mark promised me that he will deliver everything in 8-10 days to Hamilton, ON so we packed almost everything including clothes keeping in mind that we will get our stuff after 10 days.

Drivers come to pick up the stuff on the decided date and left without giving me any paperwork so that i have a record of the pickup. When i asked them for any documentation, he just replied me that company doesn't allow us to hand over any of the documents but if you want you can take a picture of it so i took some pictures and thats the only record i had with me. After pickup, i got no response from the company even after 10 days so i called them and they didn't picked my call or reply to any e-mail for two days. After calling mark again and again, he picked up the call and told me that the delivery has been delayed and he himself doesn't know when i will get my stuff. Long story short, i received my stuff after 33 days on 28th july. During this period, my kids slept on the carpet because of no mattress or anything and we even have to buy more clothings because we packed everything after the promise of 8-10 days.

After receiving the stuff, two suitcases were missing and the driver advised me to call the company and inform them. Since 28th july, no one is picking up my call. I have literally called them about 30-35 times but they picked up just once and after listening to me, he gets me on hold and disconnected the call after 10 mins and the same drama is continued of not picking up the call after that call. I have even sent an e-mail to them thrice but again no reply.

I'm now considering a legal action against them because of this unprofessional behaviour and i will wait till monday and will register a police report against them after that.

I advise all of you to stay away from this company. This is the most worst and unprofessional company you will ever deal with if you hire them. Just stay away from them.

A spectacular company! From start to finish our experience was flawless. Their customer service rep (we worked with Nick) was kind, responsive, caring, flexible and knowledgeable. A genuine pleasure to communicate with. Their movers were prompt, professional, courteous, and took really good care of our things. Worth EVERY PENNY. We truly cannot recommend this company enough - literally no room for improvement. I got moved by professionals and no damage and I saved money. 5 stars for sure!!

I am very disappointed. My things were picked up in mid July and I was quoted 10 to 14 days on when I could expect my delivery drop off. It has now been 5 weeks with no updates from the company. I have called weekly for updates to inquire, and each week I was informed that I could expect my delivery within the next several days. It has never arrived. Most recently, I was told that I could expect my things by September. That will be over 6 weeks, with no efforts to expedite the process and no transparency or attempts to rectify the ongoing issues. The issue is still unresolved. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I was moving a 2 bedroom apartment from ON to NS and was quoted $1250 for 2000 lbs. The movers came to pick up my stuff on July 23rd and was supposed to arrive in NS on July 27th. However, I was sent an invoice on July 26th with an adjusted invoice that was double my original quote because they were trying to say my things ended up weighing 6400 lbs which was impossible. The on top of that they kept delaying the arrival each week and I did not end up receiving my things until Aug 16th. I do not recommend booking this company but if you are already stuck with them you can ask for a re-weigh where you witness the truck being weighed with your things on the truck and then again with your things off the truck. They will then adjust your invoice and process a refund. You willl need to pay a $300 deposit first but I ended up saving $1200 by doing this. Do not e-transfer them any money until they arrive with your things! I had a bank draft prepared to hand the driver when he showed up. It is a process but this way you know you are being charged correctly, do not let this company lie to you and charge you an absurd amount. A 3 week delay and a ridiculous upcharge is a horrible way to run a business. PODS and UHaul will be more expensive but at least you can guarantee on time arrival of your things and transparent pricing.

1 star is too many for this terrible company. Do everything you can to avoid them. Do not be fooled by the 'good reviews' you see, as they pop up right after a bunch of terrible reviews have been written by actual customers. We were charged triple what we were quoted and we still have not received our things (it has been over 4 weeks at this point). Every time we call, they push the date back. I am not sure if we will ever get our things. If you are in the Halifax area and waiting to get your things, please email me at al792826@dal.ca and maybe we can get the police involved as a group (they are telling me my things are stuck in the back of a shipping container behind multiple other people's belongings). This company is the worst company I have ever experienced and I cannot believe they are still in business.

I hired Diamond Relocation to move my stuff from Toronto to Calgary. Their customer service is really bad, the guy at the office is very rude and don't listen properly and impose his things on the customer. They lost some of my stuff, I contacted them to report it, the guy named Steven told me that he will get back to me on next day, so I waited for 4 days but never received a call or any communication from him or from the company at all. I sent them couple emails but no body responded to my email. They don't care about their customers, they only care about the money. Finally someone picked up my phone call after continuously trying for 2 days and he told me that Steven will come to office after 1pm, so I called again to the office around 2:10pm on same day in order to find out about my lost stuff, but after calling 3 times to them, no one picked up the call. I paid approximately $2800 to them for this move, and I am getting this type of shitty service with very RUDE attitude from their customer service and they lost my stuff, nobody from the company would like to take any action or trying to find my stuff or getting back to me either. They broke my Aquarium as well during the shipment as well.

VERY UNPROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE, RUDE BEHAVIOUR, NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTED AT ALL, REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.. I don't recommend these guys. If you really want to hire any movers, please choose another company, as Diamond Relocation Canada (based in Toronto) are not reliable, won't take any responsibility, don't provide good customer service, DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS AT ALL, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE STAFF , WORST AT COMMUNICATION, NOT RELIABLE AT ALL etc etc etc…

Terrible experience from the start. All staff were unprofessional and poor communicators of information. Tried up-charging us on day of pick-up for wrapping our furniture. Would call their office multiple times and get no answer. Emailing takes days for responses to be received back. Over charged us on our items weight after promising multiple times it would not be over 2000 lbs (somehow was almost 3000 lbs???). Stated (verbatim) they were not 'benefitting financially' from moving our stuff. Arrival date was changed 2-3x after being promised a certain delivery day (over 2 weeks delayed!!!). Then they delivered a massive box belonging to someone else & physically damaged our home when moving in our stuff and refuse to reimburse. Do not use unless you want to over pay for awful service of the worst quality. The most stressful move I've ever been through...I would give 0 stars if I could.

Terrible experience. Initially dealt with Mark and agreed to a pick up date of Sept 27 for a move from Saskatchewan to Alberta. Drop off would have been Oct 1st. Sept 27 got a call from Nicholas who claimed to be the Operations Manager saying they wouldnt be there until Sept 30. When I told him he Had to be there on the 30th because I needed to vacate the apartment he became verbally abusive, said I was not his boss and he didnt work for me. Said if I did not like it I could get my deposit back and try and hire another mover. Then he hung up on me. So That’s exactly what I did. The only good thing I can say is that I got my deposit back right away. What an unprofessional horrible company. Sweet as pie when you hire them then you can’t get in touch with them again! They don’t answer their phones and don’t have voice mail. Stay away from these guys!

Excellent service.I had an emergency move that I needed help with and these guys provided same day delivery service to my rescue! From the minute they got there, they knew what to do, went straight to work, moved fast but carefully. Nothing was broken everything was delivered to satisfaction and their price was reasonable too. They did the work with positive attitude and smiling faces. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality moving services!

Terrible Experience.

I am a new comer and Mr. Mark gave me a rosy picture to start with. My Luggage was picked up on 17th September for a move from Saskatoon to Toronto. I was initially told that the delivery will be done within 10 days. We planned our move accordingly. When We tried to check with the company about the status of the delivery, they started talking rudely and were not at all giving any clarity. Now after 12 days of picking up, they said that my goods are in Edmonton, which is on the western side of Canada. We are not getting any clarity about the delivery. WE are right now homeless. All the employees are extremely rude and there is no clarity on the whereabouts of my delivery. When I asked about compensation they say that as per the contract Diamond relocation is not responsible for the delays.

I am stranded in Toronto because I trusted Diamond relocation.

Request all users to please avoid this service. They are highly irresponsible, rude and not trustworthy.

From start to finish, working with these guys was a pleasure and a wonderful experience. I called on a Thursday hoping to get someone to help me move about 3bdrm worth of stuff on Monday. Several places couldn't fit me in their schedule on such short notice, but Diamond Relocation got me on their schedule at a convenient time for me on that Monday. Team were phenomenal at listening to what all was going, what was staying, and quickly made a plan to get started. These guys never stopped moving... very efficient! You could tell that they actually cared about my stuff, my time, and the overall costs to make it all happen. I would highly recommend Diamond Relocation for any of your needs.

I’ve never posted a review before in my life but this company has me completely fired up right now.

A few days ago my stuff was picked up in storage in Canada and was to be delivered in Florida. I was promised that it would be delivered today. I was called today from their accounting department requesting payment in full. I told her I was told that they take my $200 deposit via credit card and that the rest would be paid on delivery.

I than asked where is my stuff now as it’s supposed to arrive today. She told me that it’s in storage in Toronto. I was completely baffled and requested that a manager please call me back asap so that I may discuss these issues.

Two hours later no one called me back so I called the store and spoke to a manager named Steve who at this time was very pleasant to deal with. He said he would call me back in which he did about an hour later.

When he called me back he told me the reason why it’s still there is because the truck that departed a couple of days ago to Florida was already full and that mine would be in the next one. I asked when is the next one leaving and he said on November 4th with and arrival date of either the 7th or 8th. I asked him very politely for a discount in this case because I was promised delivery on October 25th. Hence why I went with them in the first place.

He basically told me very rudely that he wasn’t going to take off a penny and that no such promise on delivery was made to me. I told him thats a lie as the salesman Mark Russo assured me it would be. He than hung up the phone on me.

At one point in this conversation I asked him what if I want the stuff returned to Ottawa so that I may have a different moving company send it out sooner and he told me he would have accounting send out a quote to me. And I asked him what if we don’t come to an agreement on pricing as it really should be returned free of charge or a very small charge as I was lied to on delivery date. He told me if that’s the case he would keep my stuff and take me to court.

I just received that quote and they invoiced me $1562 to turn my stuff 4 hours away.

Can you say crooks???

One last thing I failed to mention is that based on pictures of my stuff to get a quote I was told by the looks of it it shouldn’t be more than 1500lbs as you get up to 2000lbs with every pound over is 90 cents a pound. Well the wait magically came up to 3020lbs. Now I’m realistic on a picture guessing the weight but to be double that it wouldn’t surprise me at all that lying about the weight

I used Diamond Relocation just recently when I decided to shift from apartment to the newly bought house. I was quite freaked out initially about the whole process of moving, but luckily one of my friends told me about Diamond Relocation. I am so glad that I got to know about them. The whole moving process was carried out in a very professional manner by the company people. They were very respectful, cooperative and well mannered.

They adhered to all of our special requests, the fragile goods were dealt with delicately and all of our stuff was moved to our house in its original state without any broken goods.

I was totally satisfied with my experience, and would absolutely recommend everyone to use this company whenever you plan to move. The services provided are very convenient and affordable.
