If you care about your stuff don't book with this unorganized moving company, they made a lot of damages to my stuff and lost or might steal my valuable items although I wrote my phone number on all of them

they broke everything although I wrote fragile caution

so do the favoured for yourself and even don't even call them special mark who is answering phone he is liar he told me on the phone he will beat the other company proposal and change it on the moving day so I didn’t have choice because I couldn’t stay there anymore worse experience painful because they lost items which are important to me

Terrible experience from the start. All staff were unprofessional and poor communicators of information. Tried up-charging us on day of pick-up for wrapping our furniture. Would call their office multiple times and get no answer. Emailing takes days for responses to be received back. Over charged us on our items weight after promising multiple times it would not be over 2000 lbs (somehow was almost 3000 lbs???). Stated (verbatim) they were not 'benefitting financially' from moving our stuff. Arrival date was changed 2-3x after being promised a certain delivery day (over 2 weeks delayed!!!). Then they delivered a massive box belonging to someone else & physically damaged our home when moving in our stuff and refuse to reimburse. Do not use unless you want to over pay for awful service of the worst quality. The most stressful move I've ever been through...I would give 0 stars if I could.

Terrible experience. Initially dealt with Mark and agreed to a pick up date of Sept 27 for a move from Saskatchewan to Alberta. Drop off would have been Oct 1st. Sept 27 got a call from Nicholas who claimed to be the Operations Manager saying they wouldnt be there until Sept 30. When I told him he Had to be there on the 30th because I needed to vacate the apartment he became verbally abusive, said I was not his boss and he didnt work for me. Said if I did not like it I could get my deposit back and try and hire another mover. Then he hung up on me. So That’s exactly what I did. The only good thing I can say is that I got my deposit back right away. What an unprofessional horrible company. Sweet as pie when you hire them then you can’t get in touch with them again! They don’t answer their phones and don’t have voice mail. Stay away from these guys!

Excellent service.I had an emergency move that I needed help with and these guys provided same day delivery service to my rescue! From the minute they got there, they knew what to do, went straight to work, moved fast but carefully. Nothing was broken everything was delivered to satisfaction and their price was reasonable too. They did the work with positive attitude and smiling faces. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality moving services!

Terrible Experience.

I am a new comer and Mr. Mark gave me a rosy picture to start with. My Luggage was picked up on 17th September for a move from Saskatoon to Toronto. I was initially told that the delivery will be done within 10 days. We planned our move accordingly. When We tried to check with the company about the status of the delivery, they started talking rudely and were not at all giving any clarity. Now after 12 days of picking up, they said that my goods are in Edmonton, which is on the western side of Canada. We are not getting any clarity about the delivery. WE are right now homeless. All the employees are extremely rude and there is no clarity on the whereabouts of my delivery. When I asked about compensation they say that as per the contract Diamond relocation is not responsible for the delays.

I am stranded in Toronto because I trusted Diamond relocation.

Request all users to please avoid this service. They are highly irresponsible, rude and not trustworthy.

I used Diamond Relocation just recently when I decided to shift from apartment to the newly bought house. I was quite freaked out initially about the whole process of moving, but luckily one of my friends told me about Diamond Relocation. I am so glad that I got to know about them. The whole moving process was carried out in a very professional manner by the company people. They were very respectful, cooperative and well mannered.

They adhered to all of our special requests, the fragile goods were dealt with delicately and all of our stuff was moved to our house in its original state without any broken goods.

I was totally satisfied with my experience, and would absolutely recommend everyone to use this company whenever you plan to move. The services provided are very convenient and affordable.

Let me start by saying that I have moved across provinces (ON to BC and BC to AB) twice before and in both cases, the other moving companies gave me a specific pick up and delivery dates and kept their word.

This time we were moving from AB to ON. While they have prices on the lower end and fairly good reviews, my experience with Diamond Relocation was bad. They were 4 weeks delayed to deliver, which made us spend extra money on essential items (very tempted to send them a bill to cover those costs).

Not only were they unresponsive when I called for updates (it almost seemed like they were screening my number, otherwise how would you explain picking the phone when I used my partner’s number), but they also kept over promising and under delivering. I had to change the elevator booking over half a dozen times to accommodate their “it’s probably coming on x day”.

There was even an instance where I received a phone call to confirm the delivery time in the morning, only to have someone else call me in the afternoon and say they would send half my stuff in one day and the other half another day. Since I did not want to fully pay and only receive half of my belongings, they pushed the delivery another 4 days, from Saturday to Wednesday (not sure why it would have been so hard to send it next day). And even on the day of delivery, they were 45 min delayed.

Long story short, DO NOT MOVE WITH THEM!

I had a local move in Ontario and decided to hire Diamond Relocation to do the job. Let me just say— Wow! I was impressed. The movers are so fast and efficient. Moving is never fun, but I am so grateful they made it so easy. I’ve moved 3 times within the span of 2 years and had hired 3 different moving companies, and Diamond Relocation by far is my favorite. I will definitely be hiring them again for my future moves!

From start to finish, working with these guys was a pleasure and a wonderful experience. I called on a Thursday hoping to get someone to help me move about 3bdrm worth of stuff on Monday. Several places couldn't fit me in their schedule on such short notice, but Diamond Relocation got me on their schedule at a convenient time for me on that Monday. Team were phenomenal at listening to what all was going, what was staying, and quickly made a plan to get started. These guys never stopped moving... very efficient! You could tell that they actually cared about my stuff, my time, and the overall costs to make it all happen. I would highly recommend Diamond Relocation for any of your needs.

I’ve never posted a review before in my life but this company has me completely fired up right now.

A few days ago my stuff was picked up in storage in Canada and was to be delivered in Florida. I was promised that it would be delivered today. I was called today from their accounting department requesting payment in full. I told her I was told that they take my $200 deposit via credit card and that the rest would be paid on delivery.

I than asked where is my stuff now as it’s supposed to arrive today. She told me that it’s in storage in Toronto. I was completely baffled and requested that a manager please call me back asap so that I may discuss these issues.

Two hours later no one called me back so I called the store and spoke to a manager named Steve who at this time was very pleasant to deal with. He said he would call me back in which he did about an hour later.

When he called me back he told me the reason why it’s still there is because the truck that departed a couple of days ago to Florida was already full and that mine would be in the next one. I asked when is the next one leaving and he said on November 4th with and arrival date of either the 7th or 8th. I asked him very politely for a discount in this case because I was promised delivery on October 25th. Hence why I went with them in the first place.

He basically told me very rudely that he wasn’t going to take off a penny and that no such promise on delivery was made to me. I told him thats a lie as the salesman Mark Russo assured me it would be. He than hung up the phone on me.

At one point in this conversation I asked him what if I want the stuff returned to Ottawa so that I may have a different moving company send it out sooner and he told me he would have accounting send out a quote to me. And I asked him what if we don’t come to an agreement on pricing as it really should be returned free of charge or a very small charge as I was lied to on delivery date. He told me if that’s the case he would keep my stuff and take me to court.

I just received that quote and they invoiced me $1562 to turn my stuff 4 hours away.

Can you say crooks???

One last thing I failed to mention is that based on pictures of my stuff to get a quote I was told by the looks of it it shouldn’t be more than 1500lbs as you get up to 2000lbs with every pound over is 90 cents a pound. Well the wait magically came up to 3020lbs. Now I’m realistic on a picture guessing the weight but to be double that it wouldn’t surprise me at all that lying about the weight

TLDR:

-The salesperson lied to me on numerous occasions.

-They only send movers in pairs which turns s a 3 hour job into a 7 hour one

-I can't recommend.

I was quoted $3500 for a 3 bedroom house at 5000lbs. My 3 bedroom house ended up being 10 200lbs without appliances so if the weight is accurate they quoted me down to get my business which is far from honest. The other shady thing my rep Mark did is to say that my shipment would be shipped from Montreal to Edmonton in 7 days. The dispatcher later told me that it was impossible to meet that deadline. That's not the only lie Mark told me. He said my shipping would leave Toronto on A specific day but I had a tracker in one of the boxes so that was a lie. Another thing about Mark, he was really nice and responsive until my payment went through, after which he couldn't get me off of the phone fast enough and that's when he didn't screen my calls outright. So my shipment was 10 days late. They offered no compensation. Some of my furniture was damaged too. Some of my walls were scuffed. I didn't claim anything as I never want to deal with them again. When the movers arrived, they were only 2, to unload 10200 lbs. So instead of taking things to the rooms where they belonged, they took big pieces and dumped all the boxes in the basement. So when Mark told me I wouldn't have to do anything, that was another lie. Guess who had to bring all of those boxes to their respective rooms. My main takeaways are: Mark just told me what I wanted to hear to get my business, there wasn't enough man power for the jobs needed, you get what you pay for I guess. The only positive thing is the dispatcher Grace. She never lied to me. There's another salesman Steven, the rudest person I've had the displeasure to speak with. So steer clear. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

It took them over 23 days to deliver my move, and the sales manager Mark Russo lied to every call and just made excuses. That's because I was told only 7 days to ship my stuff. When they finally arrived they forgot my daughter's mattress in the Ontario warehouse. I asked for a refund for this item but the answer was that the item is not eligible for a refund as it is a "light weight" item and has not reached the limit for deduction. Also, to avoid any more damages and further hassle I decided to ask the movers to leave my stuff in the garage, so my husband and I moved everything into the house. There was only 2 movers to unload everything. During that time, we had to buy several items to survive without our stuff for almost a month and a 10 pounds mattress could not be refunded. Unbelievable! Do not trust this company, it's not worth it!

They were prompt, and the scheduling was very accommodating and more reasonable than other quotes by far. We have had to move a lot over the last few years and this is the first time it was stress free. They were extremely careful of both our furniture and the houses we moved out of and into. They wrapped all our furniture and mirrors in heavy plastic and moving blankets for protection. These guys were great and well worth the expense. I couldn’t recommend them more!
