Dependable movers is an affordable moving company that is very down to earth and will tell you exactly how it is. They are very straightforward and they do not leave out any details. They showed us their credentials and all their numbers matched up as far as your DOT certifications. They are in good standing with every site that we saw and we made sure to allocate a little extra space in case we did have a few last minute things. The customer service department would call us every week to check in to make sure that our list were still accurate this would ensure nothing got overlooked and weWould not be charged more than we were told. The relocation went extremely smooth much smoother than I ever anticipated five stars.

Living in New Jersey our whole life has finally taking it’s toll on us. We worked our whole lives and decided it was time to retire and head to warmer weather and a slower pace of living. The only thing was we needed to get all our furniture about 1200 miles down south and renting a truck was not even close to a possibility. Dependable movers was the first company to call us we spent over an hour on the phone going room by room telling him each piece and about how many boxes we thought we would need. They were willing to give us the best overall rate by far as well as a few discounts on top of it all. Dependable Movers is many steps ahead of the rest of this industry. They are very progressive and handle a lot of relocations and everyone is done at such a high level. They understand how every person‘s needs can be different and no two moves are alike. They are very focused on the small things in all the details because those items that could be missed add up to extra money being paid out on move day. They were Adamant and making sure we gave her self more than enough space so the price would only fall a post to rise. We were treated with respect at all times and we were never rushed into making any financial payment until we were sure and ready. They did not call us obsessively or call after hours. We had two different companies come to our home to receive on-site estimates. The two companies that came out we’re both major van lines you I’m sure everybody is familiar with. However I’m not sure if you’re familiar how expensive these companies are they are close to double the price of other movers at times for the same exact service. We found dependable movers online and light a lot of what we had read. We gave them a call and instantly were drawn to them. They were calm cool and collected and all about helping us as potential customers. They walked us through it all. They explain the pricing and gave us advice on the best ways to save money. They didn’t have a bad word to say about their competition and we’re willing to look over other quotes to make sure they were an apples to apples comparison. The move went so well. Watching them work we felt comfortable and while in transit we were always told were their truck was. I can’t speak for all the other companies but I’m pretty sure that you’re not going to find service like this at a price like this. Our relocation happened right after the new year so naturally there is a lot of stress involved coming out of Christmas and all the holidays. We looked for a company that we could really depend on(no pun intended) and dependable movers was spot on for our search. I found a group of sales man that were easy to talk to that work with a very high rated company with an impeccable reputation. They told us the truth from the beginning and always kept it honest. They were terrific and never took our furniture off the truck it was loaded on. They never brokered our move to a other company and saved us every dollar they could. It was a pleasure doing business and hope this helps anyone who is still undecided.

This was one of the worst experiences in my life dealing with a business. I contracted them to move me in November of 2019 from NJ to SC after getting quotes from multiple companies. After multiple conversations with customer rep J. Brooks who told me my quote was binding. And she understood that I was moving my life, I got a full pack. They needed to get a non refundable deposit of $3500. The quote was only good till they got my non-refundable deposit. On the day of the move, taking into account I was moving my life 600 miles. The movers were 3 hours late and after they got there they told me that irrelevant of the quote my original quote of $12,000 would be $19,000 and I could take it or they would just leave and my deposit would be forfeited. So, being that I was held hostage I had no other alternative. So, my full pack turned into throwing my clothes into boxes, and loss of items, items were left and my calls to managers were dismissive and got to the point where customer service would not help with my questions or concerns. I was told at the move date that they could not give me a date for delivery after packing my life up and us moving to another home.

When we were finally able to get a delivery date,I had to wire transfer $12,000 for the truck to even be confirmed. When the truck pulled up I was not even able to confirm this was my property without giving them the $4,000 balance in cash.

The full pack and delivery turned out to dropping off boxes. Not mounting TV's as I was promised, boxes of my suits and shirts crumbled up in the boxes, lost items and broken items. Horrible way to start a life somewhere else.

I was told to send a claim form for lost and broken items which would take 120 days. That was up last month with no communication from them.

I don't want anyone else to be scammed by this company and it cost me thousands of dollars and stress which put me in the hospital to start my new life.

Dependable movers is the New Jersey base company that runs trucks all across the country. We thought our situation is unique but quickly found out that they hear situation similar to ours each and every day. We were given websites to verify their company as well as the others that we spoke too. We wanted a company that was reasonably price and was willing to work on a tight timeframe. We didn’t think we were going to be able to find a moving company within our price range. Dependable movers was the only company that was able to make that happen for us. The customer service there was amazing. It didn’t matter what time we called whether it was 7 AM or 10 PM somebody was always available to talk to us whether it was by phone or email. Once you made a reservation deposit we felt much more comfortable. We didn’t have many days of flexibility to work with so being picked up on time was priority. The movers that came were excellent they left no dirt inside the house and no garbage for us to clean up. The entire experience was above and beyond what we expected. The entire experience was above and beyond what we expected Moving is very stressful especially when you have children moving with you but dependable movers made life easy. From the time we started with dependable movers we were so happy with the all around service. First of all the men who came in for the initial consultation were so respectful and explained to us everything! We did not have a question for them because they were so thorough. After they gave us the moving date they came on time and got started. They made sure to wrap our furniture and anything I requested they did. There were no attitudes just professionalism which was great. They were on time with the drop off. And now we are in our new house with no stress because of dependable movers.

They provide this website to verify their identity and they are length of time and business. They are the actual moving company and not a third-party mover. No damages no scratches nothing missing all amounted to a perfect move.

You did not overwhelm us with phone calls and didn’t constantly ask for money. Gave us all the tools necessary and gave us our space to evaluate compare and make an educated decision. Moving is probably one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do with a company like you in our corner our worries significantly decreased. They are the most efficient company I have ever done business with and I’ve done business with countless companies. They take the time necessary on every move to make sure you understand the pricing as well as the contract. It is very easy to follow and I promise you do that you do not need a lawyer. We had a great time working with dependable movers. We were really not looking forward to the relocation process altogether thank God for this company because will be probably would still be sitting in our living room. The process was the same as most Of the other moving companies and the price was in the same range as well. The deciding factor of why we chose them over the field was because of how progressive they were. We really wanted someone to come out and see our furniture they came up with the idea FaceTime as an alternative. We made sure we took every step that we possibly heard to avoid paying extra money on the final payment. In the end the furniture arrived with no damages and we were not charged a single cent more. The customer service was fantastic if we had to do it again they would get the job.

This actually should be a NO star review. The movers were over 8 hours late to pick up our goods to be moved. Their original truck broke down..we were told. Movers were in a huge hurry to load their truck because it was getting dark in mid-October. During the loading, a box containing my wife's jewelry, which was separate from the move items, was loaded, even though they were told not load it. They were in a big hurry to get back to Chicago. The lead man said so. The lead man asked us when the soonest day for delivery should be and we said in 4 days, that coming Saturday would work. After our arrival in FL and the truck didn't arrive on Saturday, I called to find out that it could be as long 12 more days. Had we known that and that the boxes would be offloaded in Chicago, put in storage and then reloaded to come down to FL, we would have asked them to pull the box before they left. We left the next day for FL, thinking everything would be down on Saturday as previously told to us. On the last day to deliver the two guys and a 53' semi trailer show up again 8 hours late at 6:30 in almost dark conditions. Trailer had no interior lights. My wife and I had to help unload the trailer as it began to rain. After over 3 hours of unloading everything was in the house. There was NO actual checking off of the numbered boxes because the two guys were unloading boxes and putting them in the house. One box actually had 3 red number labels on it. I told the lead mover that. He said that happens in transit. It took about 10+ days to unpack all of the many boxes because the boxes weren't placed in the rooms indicated because of the rain. After everything was unpacked, we discovered that the jewelry never made to FL. Called Julie and Ava and they started to check on the missing moving box. On the 11/25/19 filed a claim because no box was recovered. Since we didn't insure the jewelry with them, which by the way wasn't supposed to be moved by Dependable, so, why would we insure it?. Customer Service rep, Marcus W, told me it was our fault that the box was loaded because we were supposed to oversee the operation even after we told them not to take it. Long story short, we have no recourse and they aren't responsible, but they will replace the missing items at .65 cents a pound. We don't recommend this moving company because everything they did, except collect payments, was extremely non-professional and they took no responsibility for their contracted help's actions.. Told by Julie that it would be a seamless move. They would pack and unpack on arrival. None of that happened and valuables disappeared under their watch, in addition to the enormous lack of communication from Dependable during the move. Caveat emptor.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Unreliable, not communicative, and full of misrepresentations to get your stuff and hold you hostage. We were quoted $3,900 and 7-14 days to move from CA to NYC, the move ended up being $4,600 and 26 days. They promised professional packing and unpacking – not true, the property was in poor condition on arrival and the driver literally asked for an additional $850+ to move/unpack our property. Incredibly stressful experience that I would not wish on anyone. They harassed us to engage them for the move and hustled us out of our money. They rushed in to pick up our stuff and then changed the story once they had our belongings loaded. They demanded the majority of payment upfront, in cash preferably, prior to the move, and held our items in a warehouse. Pressing for an update, they pointed out that they have 30 business days to complete the move. They held our property for almost an entire month with a complete lack of communication. Had we known, we would have not used this company. Do yourself a favor and use another mover.

Our items arrived in bad condition. The furniture was exposed, sofa deformed, ALL of our carefully packed boxes were DESTROYED, kicked in, frayed and tattered, with our items quite literally spilling out of the boxes. No boxes were in box-like condition, all were smashed. There was only ONE person doing the delivery and move. He refused to pull his truck into a loading dock intended for trucks. When our property finally showed up, he wanted to charge an extra $850+ to finish the move, including putting our actual things in the unit and unpacking them, and he demanded cash or money order on the spot (a Sunday morning at 9 a.m.). We declined and our stuff was left on the curb. Two days prior the driver called and said that we owed almost 3x what was owed. I confirmed the remaining balance with dispatch and then called the driver and he confirmed the correct balance with him as well. Yet, on delivery he again asked for the 3x price that he tried to ask for on his first call. Luckily my husband had a voicemail from dispatch and we were able to get him to unload our stuff for the correct price. We unpacked and moved our own furniture despite paying for a full move. The driver simply pulled up to the curb and dumped the stuff on the curb (again ONE PERSON TO MOVE OUR STUFF), but we were not going to pay an additional hidden $850+ in cash for this robbery.

Do not get confused by the “good reviews” if you look carefully, they are clearly fabricated. Pay the extra cost for a reputable moving company with good reviews because you will end up paying that anyway, plus so much more if you use Dependable Movers. Originally quoted $3,900 and the move could have cost us $5,400+ if they had their way and completed the job, instead we completed the move and it cost us $4,600 and an incredible amount of time, energy, and stress. There is not a thing dependable about them. I am filing a claim with the Better Business Bureau, The Bureau of Public Transportation, and the Federal Motor Carrier Association, and any other regulatory body to bring attention to the way this business is operated; I will leave reviews to continue to warn the public.

Our move was set up a month in advance. 1 week to our move date the representative called and confirmed all the details which had not changed since the reservation was made. 2 days laterwe were told by the same representative that we had been misquoted and that they couldn't do the move for less than over double the original BINDING estimate. They practice bait and switch fraud and gazumping. Gazump is defined as raising the original agreed upon price.

In addition to the moving fiasco the customer support staff is dishonest. I was told by the representative that I would receive a call with the tracking number on my deposit refund check. Days later I called again to check the status and the manager told me the check was sent on the 3rd standard delivery and no tracking number was available. I finally received my refund check on the 11th in a USPS express envelope(with tracking number) postmarked on the 9th. Very disappointed with the blatant disregard of customer service.

I needed last-minute assistance with moving from Charlotte to Maryland. I was nervous at first because I had never heard of Dependable Movers. However, after speaking with Jeremy I felt confident that this company was able to supply my needs. The move was from a storage bin to my new home. The price to move from charlotte to Maryland was competitive. The movers were professional and accommodating. The movers put my Televisions together and both beds were put back together. I would use this company again and I would tell a friend about this company.

We used dependable movers to move us from Texas to Tennessee. We also had them store our furniture for a few months. The majority of our large furniture showed up so damaged that it is unusable. One of our pelotons is no longer usable. Our King mattress had the cover ripped off and was set in some sort of oil that soaked through both sides. Our freezer has dents all over it. Our coffee table has a leg broken off of it. My daughter's dresser had the leg broken off. There are gashes in the wood in both the headboard and footboard in two sets of bedroom furniture. Our new washing machine has dents in it. A good portion of our boxes were in poor condition upon arrival and the contents damaged. A mattress was brought in that was not ours and they had to put back on the truck. How it got in with our belongings is unknown. Our daughters motorized polaris is missing its hood. An expensive office chair has a gash in the leather and a wheel broken off. The list goes on. We cannot fathom how our belongings were so damaged. It is apparent that our items were handled with a complete lack of care. We paid over thirteen thousand dollars to dependable movers to have our belongings stored and moved and the care and professionalism they showed was unbelievably disappointing. Much of our furniture was either new or had been purchased within the last few years. Much of it will now have to be replaced due to the destruction. We have let the company know that we are filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I would never recommend this company nor would we ever use them again.

I was in tears once I saw the status of our belongings upon delivery.

Dependable moving has the perfect name for what they do and who they are. I was very nervous to even find a moving company. All the quotes I was bombarded with freaked me out being that they were so much money. Dependable called me in the midst of all the other companies and had the lowest price and beat all of them With the respectful speaking and guiding me through this moving that I never wanted to do anyway. I needed a company who would be honest, dependable, and knowledgeable about what I exactly needed. They blew the competition away. I immediately hired them after speaking to quite a few other businesses. They were professional and kind to me. They kept me updated and respected the covid guidelines. That right there was seriously important to my family and I. My husband is not good talking to people at all but he really liked them and will for sure us them again if we do need a moving company. You’ve saved us so much trouble and time and we are so appreciative. Total 5 star company and 5 star people.

Dependable Movers is exactly what the moving company says it is they are dependable. This is the busiest time of year for all the moving companies still reserving our date was a priority since we had no leeway in terms of our move out date. We reserved our dates and were able to adjust her inventory as we grew closer to our move day. The most important part about doing that is that we locked in our rates send a matter what the rate was two months from the time we reserved we are still locked in at a much cheaper rate. It was a very stressful time moving this is an excruciating process but with their help it was moving made simple and for that we are very thankful. My mother in-law recently wanted to move and we needed a affordable, reliable, honest moving service. After much looking around, everywhere we were referred to Accurate Express. We, to say the least were extremely happy with their professionalism, respectful nature, and honesty. The prices were lower than the quote which was wonderful especially for what is going on in the world right now and because she is extremely frugal. She was so happy that we didn’t have to do it being our schedule was so busy and she felt very comfortable being around the employees by herself.
