Dependable Movers was destined to handle our relocation. They were referred to us from a friend and he had nothing but good things to say about them so we decided to use them. The movers came out to our home and wrapped every last piece of furniture and loaded all the boxes. This made this move stress free and easy on all of our family. Having to move children is a lot of work as you can imagine is hard enough so having them work for us was what we needed. We were able to communicate what we wanted clearly and they worked it out on their end so both parties benefitted. I would highly recommend them.

Dependable movers was quick to respond. They must have called within five minutes of clicking the submit button. My wife and I are both very busy between work and the children that we did not have time to walk the home and tell them every piece that was planned on being moved. Dependable movers was a very high energetic company. It was a good feeling to work with a company that enjoyed what they do. They are a very professional mover at the same time. They are extremely organized and professional so if you’re looking for a real true long distance mover who is it going to surprise you with a U-Haul truck on move day that this is a great company. Did you all their moves with their own employees and they operate all their own trucks. Dependable movers made this the easiest relocation we’ve ever had. We’ve moved a few times in the past so we were a little bit familiar with how the process works. Each company wants a list of the items they determine the amount of space were weight and a fire out a quote. Having knowingness going into the process we were able to give extra detail whereas in the past we overlook things and had to pay extra charges on the day of delivery. Having that knowledge saves us a lot of money by consolidating the furniture that we did move as well and Knowing what we were responsible for an hour and with the packing. Grade levels of communications were maintain from start to finish and I can’t think of one bad thing to say about this company. They do excellent work and they are the real mover you want.

We found one company that was not like that separated themselves from the pack early on in our comparisons period. Respect with very educated sales guy and the movers that came out to her house very respectful and you can tell you this for a living. I felt bad because it was cold in there whatever I could to help them they were at fasten efficiently unloaded the truck properly. Wireless matched up and never had to pay a dollar more.

Dependable movers helped us save money but more importantly prevented us from doing the move entirely by ourself. We had planned on renting a U-Haul and trying to load all the furniture and drive it ourselves. After getting prices and coming to our senses they quickly decided that in your professional moving company handle the move will probably be the better of the two options. They were all very kind and courteous and we’re willing to be flexible with our timing and pretty much meat everything ready request we may have had. Dependable movers from top to bottom I found to be a very solid well run company. It’s a group of people that I work together do you achieve the same for the Nats for us to access from Lowe’s and a happy customer. We had a very good time working with them they took a lot of the stress off of us and kept our mind focused on the things that we can do and leave them with the moving. Rescheduled our date in advance about three weeks and got a discount at almost every stage of the move. Our reservation deposit was a fraction of the total which made it easy to make three payments. Anytime we would call and ask where our truck was we got a location and even the drivers number. They treated us good any return retreat damn good. Five star company no doubt.

Because they are New Jersey-based company and we were in far from one of their hubs they had a gentleman come out and see the furniture firsthand. We worked with Dependable Movers on our moving estimation fee and we signed a 3400 dollars moving contract with them. They agreed to come to move our furniture on December 21st and potentially finish the job on the Sunday 22nd early on the morning since I had to take my flight on the 22nd at 1 pm. Only ONE person from Dependable Movers came, on the Sunday, HALF AN HOUR BEFORE OUR DEPARTURE for the airport, telling us that we had to pay 9000 DOLLARS instead of 3400 as agreed and signed. Until today, they have been keeping our deposit and they DON'T WANT TO REIMBURSE US for their failure and terrible situation they put us in.
They just wanted to take advantage for our situation to make MORE MONEY.

The Dependable Movers FAILED to provide an accurate estimate of moving charges (tripling the cost upon their arrival to premises, half an hour before our departure to the airport), respect the contract, and to refund the deposit.

They are really impressed with the work done by dependable movers. This was our first time using a long distance mover and we had no idea what to expect. We were introduced to the manager as well as the owner which made us feel very comfortable. We trusted them with their entire home and they did not disappoint. Not a pleasant experience at all.
While making the booking, the staff was very nice, very cooperative and reassuring.
However, the delivery was very very delayed. We were informed one day to wait for the truck and we did , but no one came and no one called to update us either. We had to call customer service again and again. The truck finally came another week after that and that was 13 days after the first available date and it wasn't even a long distance move!
The delivery truck came at 9 pm! We were just glad to get our stuff only to realise that some things were missing. The delivery included the re-assembly of basic furniture which never happened. The delivery guy said he just delivers someone else will come the next day in a smaller truck to put our furniture together. Called dependable movers next morning only to find out there is no such thing, the guy conned us! The customer service guy was extremely rude, had a weird attitude. He would not even listen to the problems he would just say sent u a claim form!
We packed our dishes, glasses and serve ware in proper packing materials, had huge fragile stickers on each side of the boxes despite that most of our glassware is broken, dishes reached in a gazillion pieces!
Some furniture is chipped and scratched too but that's something one is prepared to bear with the move but you don't expect missing boxes, dis assembled furniture missing parts and things broken!
Horrible horrible customer service!

My daughter hired this company to move her across the US. She has been waiting for her things for 17 days and the company told her she could be waiting another 12 days. She has no bed to sleep on, no kitchen or bathroom supplies, nothing. They are non-committal, have no defined schedule, say they are at the mercy of their drivers (obviously they have no forecast or planning for their trucking pool) and I have never dealt with such rude people. Absolutely no customer service skills and when you are obviously upset about the situation they make every attempt to explain to you why it is your fault. We have hired a lawyer. This company won't be in business very long-check out their yelp reviews.
