We found one company that was not like that separated themselves from the pack early on in our comparisons period. Dependable movers there’s a company that’s been in business for many years and employees highly knowledgeable and will train people. Respect with very educated sales guy and the movers that came out to her house very respectful and you can tell you this for a living. I felt bad because it was cold in there whatever I could to help them they were at fasten efficiently unloaded the truck properly. Wireless matched up and never had to pay a dollar more.

We found a company called dependable movers that helped us bring our goods from Virginia up to New Jersey. We had a friend of ours use their company in the past and told us of all the good things that they bring to the table. They were very easy to work with and they were able to save us a lot of money opposed to using other companies that her called. Some of the other companies were giving us quotes That were more than $2000 more than we got from dependable movers for the same exact items. They always returned our calls and the movers showed up on time for the pick up as well as the final delivery. We were able to finish this meal without damaging any of our furniture or pieces turning up missing. Very very good company for a family looking to move for a price that they can afford.

Dependable movers was able to come to our home and do an on-site estimate because we live in New Jersey. They gave us a flat fee for taking care of all the furniture and packing up every single item inside our house into boxes. In the past we had moved about 15 years ago and had an absolutely horrible experience. The movers showed up late last time and tried to charge us extra money so we wanted to make sure that would not happen again. Your company was very straightforward and honest about the charges and told us how to protect ourselves from any damages that could occur from an unforeseen event and just making sure there is plenty of room on the moving truck. The original estimate we got came down Once the truck was loaded so needless to say we were happy about that as well. Everybody work together to make sure that the items got placed in the rooms that we desired. Thank you for cutting cost the way you did that money goes a long way during the holidays. Moving is by far the hardest and stressful experience we have ever had. Even tho our relocation with Dependable Movers was extremely easy it still takes a lot out of you. Working with our sales representative we were able to convey what we wanted and he put together a package that fit our needs best. They gave us many complimentary items like tv boxes and mattress covers. These are things other movers would have charged for for sure. It was the same guys same trucks and quality work.

Dependable Movers we couldn’t believe how fast and professional your team of guys are. We didn’t have much room to play with as far as pick up dates so that was the first thing we secured. Booking our move over a month prior saved us hundreds of dollars. They also offered us military and senior discounts. Everyone was so friendly and wanted to help us so bad. They are very progressive and they work more then a traditional 9-5 day. We spoke at 10 pm on certain occasions. We are originally from New Jersey so I hate to say it but we are a little biased when it comes to that so we spent more time working with them then other companies. We were overwhelmed with all the great things we had read about this company. We’ve lived our whole life in New Jersey and decided if we were done with the cold ready to retire and head to Florida. Dependable movers was so impressive. They sent one of their salesman over to our house after going through a full inventory over the phone to make sure everything was in line in accurate. It’s not every day that you find a company that’s willing to go this far and take the extra step to make you comfortable. Dependable movers puts their customer first and works In a round of affordable pricing. They were more than generous to help us cut costs and even did some packing free of charge. It didn’t take long to get the delivery it was about two weeks which was giving us enough time to get us in our pets there and they set up the pieces in the rooms that we asked. They were easy to talk to and very friendly. I would absolutely recommend them to anybody.

They are really impressed with the work done by dependable movers. This was our first time using a long distance mover and we had no idea what to expect. We were introduced to the manager as well as the owner which made us feel very comfortable. We trusted them with their entire home and they did not disappoint. Not a pleasant experience at all.
While making the booking, the staff was very nice, very cooperative and reassuring.
However, the delivery was very very delayed. We were informed one day to wait for the truck and we did , but no one came and no one called to update us either. We had to call customer service again and again. The truck finally came another week after that and that was 13 days after the first available date and it wasn't even a long distance move!
The delivery truck came at 9 pm! We were just glad to get our stuff only to realise that some things were missing. The delivery included the re-assembly of basic furniture which never happened. The delivery guy said he just delivers someone else will come the next day in a smaller truck to put our furniture together. Called dependable movers next morning only to find out there is no such thing, the guy conned us! The customer service guy was extremely rude, had a weird attitude. He would not even listen to the problems he would just say sent u a claim form!
We packed our dishes, glasses and serve ware in proper packing materials, had huge fragile stickers on each side of the boxes despite that most of our glassware is broken, dishes reached in a gazillion pieces!
Some furniture is chipped and scratched too but that's something one is prepared to bear with the move but you don't expect missing boxes, dis assembled furniture missing parts and things broken!

My daughter hired this company to move her across the US. She has been waiting for her things for 17 days and the company told her she could be waiting another 12 days. She has no bed to sleep on, no kitchen or bathroom supplies, nothing. They are non-committal, have no defined schedule, say they are at the mercy of their drivers (obviously they have no forecast or planning for their trucking pool) and I have never dealt with such rude people. Absolutely no customer service skills and when you are obviously upset about the situation they make every attempt to explain to you why it is your fault. We have hired a lawyer. This company won't be in business very long-check out their yelp reviews.

Dependable movers is an affordable moving company that is very down to earth and will tell you exactly how it is. They are very straightforward and they do not leave out any details. They showed us their credentials and all their numbers matched up as far as your DOT certifications. They are in good standing with every site that we saw and we made sure to allocate a little extra space in case we did have a few last minute things. The customer service department would call us every week to check in to make sure that our list were still accurate this would ensure nothing got overlooked and weWould not be charged more than we were told. The relocation went extremely smooth much smoother than I ever anticipated five stars.

Living in New Jersey our whole life has finally taking it’s toll on us. We worked our whole lives and decided it was time to retire and head to warmer weather and a slower pace of living. The only thing was we needed to get all our furniture about 1200 miles down south and renting a truck was not even close to a possibility. We went online and started speaking two long-distance movers. Dependable movers was the first company to call us we spent over an hour on the phone going room by room telling him each piece and about how many boxes we thought we would need. They were willing to give us the best overall rate by far as well as a few discounts on top of it all. Without the help from your company would be stuck up here in the north in the cold but instead it’s palm trees and sand and a big thank you.

Outside of that they are very detailed to the point where every piece matters because it really does when you’re being charge for the amount of space that you use. We worked with Dependable Movers on our moving estimation fee and we signed a 3400 dollars moving contract with them. They agreed to come to move our furniture on December 21st and potentially finish the job on the Sunday 22nd early on the morning since I had to take my flight on the 22nd at 1 pm. Only ONE person from Dependable Movers came, on the Sunday, HALF AN HOUR BEFORE OUR DEPARTURE for the airport, telling us that we had to pay 9000 DOLLARS instead of 3400 as agreed and signed. Until today, they have been keeping our deposit and they DON'T WANT TO REIMBURSE US for their failure and terrible situation they put us in.
They just wanted to take advantage for our situation to make MORE MONEY.

The Dependable Movers FAILED to provide an accurate estimate of moving charges (tripling the cost upon their arrival to premises, half an hour before our departure to the airport), respect the contract, and to refund the deposit.

Dependable Movers is many steps ahead of the rest of this industry. They are very progressive and handle a lot of relocations and everyone is done at such a high level. They understand how every person‘s needs can be different and no two moves are alike. They are very focused on the small things in all the details because those items that could be missed add up to extra money being paid out on move day. They were Adamant and making sure we gave her self more than enough space so the price would only fall a post to rise. We were treated with respect at all times and we were never rushed into making any financial payment until we were sure and ready. They did not call us obsessively or call after hours. We have nothing but kind words to say I wanted to read them the five stars that they deserve.

We had two different companies come to our home to receive on-site estimates. The two companies that came out we’re both major van lines you I’m sure everybody is familiar with. However I’m not sure if you’re familiar how expensive these companies are they are close to double the price of other movers at times for the same exact service. We found dependable movers online and light a lot of what we had read. We gave them a call and instantly were drawn to them. They were calm cool and collected and all about helping us as potential customers. They walked us through it all. They explain the pricing and gave us advice on the best ways to save money. They didn’t have a bad word to say about their competition and we’re willing to look over other quotes to make sure they were an apples to apples comparison. The move went so well. Watching them work we felt comfortable and while in transit we were always told were their truck was. I can’t speak for all the other companies but I’m pretty sure that you’re not going to find service like this at a price like this. Our relocation happened right after the new year so naturally there is a lot of stress involved coming out of Christmas and all the holidays. We looked for a company that we could really depend on(no pun intended) and dependable movers was spot on for our search. I found a group of sales man that were easy to talk to that work with a very high rated company with an impeccable reputation. They told us the truth from the beginning and always kept it honest. They were terrific and never took our furniture off the truck it was loaded on. They never brokered our move to a other company and saved us every dollar they could. It was a pleasure doing business and hope this helps anyone who is still undecided.
