Simply a great service. I picked them up after reading reviews from this website. Office people very polite and quick in answering my messages. Nicola who visited our property was professional and courteous and I just cannot recommend her enough. Very very nice lady.
 
The guys came on time, were quite fast and polite as well. Nothing was damaged and they put everything where I wanted at our new property. My wife also was really impressed with them as on the packing day our 1 year old was sleeping and they tried their best to pack everything with as little noise as possible…really considerate.

Thought City Removals were fantastic. Got an extremely competitive quote and decided to go with them based on price, previous reviews, and also the guarantees they made regarding protection of my furniture, assembly, and placing of boxes in required rooms. The one thing that put me off slightly was that I didn't think the website was very good compared to others but glad this was not enough to put me off completely. Price was a fixed price for removal only. Job started at 9am, got a call to say they would be 10 mins late. The two guys worked extremely hard. Took a bit longer than some previous companies I've used, but this is largely down to the amount of care they took over my furniture, and I was not paying by the hour anyway. Both the men were courteous, friendly and efficient and would not hesitate to rcommentd or use them again.  .

We moved from East London to Weston-Super-Mare and opted for the "full packing"service.The packing was done on the day prior to moving and on the actual moving day our team of 3 had everything loaded and ready to go by 1pm.They had it all unloaded into our new home by 7pm. We cannot praise them highly enough for providing a stress-free removal experience and would not hesitate to recommend City-Removals.Also many thanks to Nicola who patiently re-arranged our moving date 3 times!!A very professional operation.

We had a large 2 bedroom flat in London and having 2 young boys needed a bigger space. We moved to Kent. City Removals were highly recommended and we can understand why. They quoted to pack and move us and came in the cheapest. We got them to pack, it saves a lot of time and stress, especially if you have kids running around. Get out of the property for a day and come back to see it all in boxes..amazing. The guys (three of them) packed us on a sunday (all day) and turned up on the monday morning early, packed up the vans (easier to park than one large lorry) and unloaded it all and put all the boxes in the right rooms in our new 3 storey town house. They reconstructed all the beds and cots and placed furniture where we wanted it. Above all they were so polite, incredibly caring and hard working. They took all the stress out of the whole process. They also packed intelligently, stuff was easy to find in the new place. Absolutely brilliant.. and zero damage. Not surprising considering the care they took with everything. The way they packed and moved artwork was equally brilliant. 10/10    .

I have used City Removals for my recent move. Very good and professional service. Moved form a 2 bedroom flat to a 2 bedroom house. We had a crew of 2 men. Very hard working and polite and also with a sense of humour which was nice to see .You can tell from their attitude that they are instructed to be very polite and helpful. I have watched them from distance  during the day a few times and have found them to be very careful with my stuff. Also they used some covers which I have not seen before to other companies when I moved.
Communication with the office was very prompt an d reassuring. All in all a very good service  and I am quite impressed by it. I Would have no hesitation in recommending them if you need this kind of service.

I cannot recommend City-Removals enough.  From start to finish they did an excellent job moving our two bed flat into storage.  The estimator gave lots of useful information and put up with my chopping and changing dates and addresses!  The removal guys instantly put us at ease and were absolutely meticulous, really careful with the furniture and tireless hard workers (4.5 hours loading up the van!).  We were advised after the first couple of hours that we were going to need a bigger storage container, and as we arranged this ourselves, it meant we could phone ahead to the storage company and up to a 100 sq ft to avoid any last minute problems.  It was refreshing to come across a company who actually cares about the job they do (after dealing for months with estate agents etc!) Thanks so much, we will be calling on you again to move our stuff back out of storage!

Full packing and moving service provided by City Removals and they performed this efficiently and without complaint despite my underestimation of the size of the job.  The move from a 1 bedroom flat to larger bungalow went smoothly and effectively and I would happily utilise their services again.  The overall price was 590 GBP including packing service and packaging.  No objects were damaged and all breakable were carefully wrapped and handled.  The crew were flexible when changes in plans were required.

I do not have anything bad to say about them!  They have been absolutely fantastic and made our house move smooth and easy. I was dreading moving house with my 2.5years old twins, but City Removals made the whole experience abosolutely stress free.  They were punctual, extremely professional, polite, kind and very helpful.  The team we had was very hard working (and that was on Saturday and Sunday!), and they never complained about anything. No scratch on the walls, no furnitures damaged.. not a single problem to report.   On the Sunday (the actual moving day) it was raining a lot, and the new house had beige carpets all over.  The three members of team removed their shoes every single time they walked in the house, without us asking!  Absolutely nothing got dirty. A week or so after the move, I called to enquire whether they would collect the empty boxes from us, and they sent someone just a few hours later. I could not recommend more this company, and will most definitely use them again next time!

The whole experience was a pleasant one and good value compared to other firms I've used before. The pre-move visit was conducted very professionally and we felt we would be looked after. On the move day, we had slightly more garden furniture than would fit in the van, so this was picked up and delivered soon after, at a convenient time. The team worked tirelessly and were extremely careful with our belongings. We had an expensive extendable glass table (with a sensitive mechanism), which was disassembled and put back together in perfect working order. The move took slightly longer than planned, due to the extra care around our fragile packing, but this wasn't an issue. I would definitely recommend City Removals if you value great service and a reasonable rate. I researched many firms beforehand and this firm stands above all their competitors I got quotes for. In addition, they were very flexible, where other large names firms can charge you for being one minute past your key handover slot etc. 10/10.
