The guys were professional.

Ayflower just moved me yesterday afternoon in the pouring rain. The guys who came were super professional and wrapped my items very well. Everyone in the office was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Despite the fact that the movers helped us in difficult weather conditions, they never complained and had a smile on their face. Thank you bay flower for making my move easy.

Thank You.

I promised I would write a review if it was a good experience . By far best movers in my opinion. They were so precise about packing my items without breaking them! It was a little expensive but who can put a price on yOur valuables that are priceless, right?? Bayflower was the right company to go with for me because I felt like they really cared. I wouldn't have done it any other way to be honest with you. In the next few years I have to move again and I will be using them.

Damages And no Follow-up.

Don't believe any of the good reviews.  The sales person will hound you and hound you.  They will promise to be below the cost of the top companies, and the initial estimate will be lower.  THEN they show up to pack and load your items, and suddenly your estimate was too low.  THEN you are told because the initial estimate was too low, the cost of packing and loading is TWICE the rate as when you were quoted over the phone.  At this point, all your items are already on the truck.  So, you are left with the option of paying, or having them unload the truck and you STILL have to pay, and you'll lose your deposit.   Once your items are on the truck and out of your sight, the contact by the company stops.  You'll have to call multiple times, and most of the time, IF they answer, they won't have any information as to when you stuff will arrive.   When the movers finally came to my house, as they were unloading, I'm informed that because the apartment isn't sitting right on the curb, that I will have to pay a extended moving distance fee, which, of course, can only be paid in cash.   While I was watching them move items in and unpacking, one of the movers cut a HOLE into the upholstery on my couch. One of the boxes has been badly damaged (like it had falled off the truck and rolled and maybe even been run over) and when I opened the box, most items were damaged, and many items were missing. I submitted a claim in November, and since then have not heard a single thing from the company, and they are now no longer answering their phones, or responding to voice messages.  .

Long-distance move from Virginia to Florida

Bayflower Movers.

Do not do business with this company, that is unless you want your property destroyed, holes punched in your walls and door frames split. This company is the worst. They moved my furniture from Richmond, VA to Baltimore, MD and left it sitting in a hot warehouse where items melted together during the month of August. After 10 working days, my furniture finally arrived in Florida. Their contract totally insulates them against any claims. Don't take my word for it read their contract. Almost everything I own was either destroyed, broken or scratched. The people that packed the truck and unpacked the truck were totally unprofessional. One of the people that unpacked the truck was covered in tattoos and piercings. As soon as he walked in the door he went to the bathroom and threw up, I don't know if it was drugs or alcohol. They are incredibly dishonest!

Bayflower Are Scammers.

They are scam artists, whatever you do, DON"T USE THEM!  They will lie and jack up the price and try to hold your items hostage.  They will not return calls or emails and charge you for things they didn't discuss.  Read the "rip of report" about them.

Warning! Please Read!

Please be very careful if you are thinking of using this company. There are extra charges they don't tell you about until they arrive. They were late, broke and damaged my items, and delivered a box to the wrong address and then NEVER resolved the probelm after many phone calls. I had to go get the box myself, it was way too big to fit in my car and I had to borrow a van to go pick it up, all MY OWN dime! That's why I say the final delievery day took 42 days. The customer service lied to me when I tried to get my box back. Go ahead and read the blog I wrote about it if you want more detailed information about my experience.

DO NOT believe the good reviews!!

Everything I have read on the bad reviews is SPOT ON.  We were fooled by the good reviews and decided to overlook the bad ones.  We were SO Wrong!! It was a terrible experience right from the get go.  They promise you the world and keep talking about being a "five star" company until you sign the contract..and then that all goes out the window.  HORRIBLE customer service.  SOOOO unprofessional.  Movers showed up wearing basketball shorts and sneakers..I could have packed better than them.  Overused bubble wrap and tape and then wanted me to pay for it!! Were throwing my items around and had no respect for our things.  Completed low balled us and then I had no choice but to pay almost double what was in the contract because they don't don't know how to pack a truck.  They threw everything in truck haphazardly and then told me I had more stuff and was going to be charged 3 thousand dollars more!!
That was only the beginning, they lied on so many levels about EVERYTING.  Showed up with a truck with NO signs or anything on it.  So unprofessional.  They just hire workers for jobs who have no idea what they are doing, so you really have no idea if and when your stuff will show up.
I lost so many boxes and I was pretty much forced to sign the contract to say I received all my boxes and was told well if you find stuff missing there is really nothing they will do for you you!!

I watched them put other peoples items on my front lawn to get to my stuff.  They literally threw all the peoples stuff out on my lawn to get to our stuff.  It was disgraceful.  And they demanded we pay uprfront in cash or they would not take any stuff off the truck.  They were nasty and so unfriendly.

Do not believe a word they tell you!! Unless you can confirm from someone else in person that you know that they have been treated well by this company PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM!!
The positive reviews on here CANNOT BE REAL.  Total scam like so many others in Florida.  Very sad.
