These guys were absolutely fantastic. I asked for three movers for our move. My girlfriend and I were moving from Bethlehem to Fort Myers, because she got a job there and I was also happy to go and live somewhere else. Head foreman guy and two other helpers came in our apartment on time and packed the things quickly. They wrapped them so well that nothing got damaged nor broken. Both of us were very satisfied with them! They even arranged the furniture at our new place and did not charge us extra for that. They saved us so much time and money. They were very efficient, kind and friendly. For sure, if we need to move again we will call them and she will tell her new colleagues!
Worst experience of my life. Promised load within 1 to 3 days. Took 11 split my load into 3 separate loads. Packers were foreign and could barely speak English. Spoke mostly Russian. Did not listen to instructions. Quoted me 6600. Ended up coating 3 times more. Grossly over estimates the cubic feet and tried to over charge me. Held my furniture hostage until I wires them more money. Packers did not bring adequate material and we had to go to Home Depot to buy more.
Terrible experience with Bay Flower Moving Company. Spoke with Dave in the sales department. I shared my experience from my move east with a corporate company that moved my things 5-6 times before I received them. Dave assured me Bay Flower doesn’t do that. My things go right on the truck – that was the first lie. He also told me that Bay Flower was a family run company that had its own trucks. More lies. Then I provided an inventory of my things. Dave provided an estimate. I called Dave back because I forgot a few things and he assured me the estimate would be close and no need to worry. That was the next lie. Then I requested a delivery date 7-8 days after the truck was loaded. Dave emailed me back they would do their best to meet that request. That was a major lie. I signed the contract, disregarding a significantly lower bid from another moving company, since Dave assured me that my things would not be moved around and that Bay Flower was a company that cared about its customers. That was my biggest mistake! Once the contract was signed, all of a sudden Dave’s email didn’t work and he didn’t respond to my questions. At this point I should have realized the mess I was in and went with another mover but I did not. That was my second biggest mistake! They picked up my possessions on March 17th (some pieces were picked up from another location on the 18th). The packers did a good job of wrapping things and I thought all was well (I’ll share the issue found later in this saga). Then the packers tell me my things will be moved to a warehouse and wherever else they choose to move it until delivered. I questioned saying that’s not what Dave told me. But the bigger surprise was the additional cost they were charging me since Dave’s estimate was not even close to their count! Based on this information, I contacted customer service to register my concerns. They admitted Dave told me what I needed to hear to sign the contract and that they always move possessions as suits their needs. Also, they said they would review the bill. By this time I didn’t believe a word they said but I waited. And got a bill for $3000 more than the estimate! The next day I started my drive to California thinking the worst was over. Boy was I wrong!! The day before requested delivery (on March 24th), I called Bay Flower to get an update (they had not contacted me at all). Nina told me that my things were still in Maryland and I might get them in early April. As you can imagine, I went nuts. I had no clue it would take so long and did not have anything I needed to go 3 weeks with nothing. Nina said she would call me back with a delivery date that night or the next day. Of course, I never heard from her. The next day, I called again. I was told Nina was busy and that she would call me back. No call back. The next day Nina answered the phone and said she would call me by 5pm that day with the delivery date. No call back. I called the next day and the person said Nina was busy they’d tell her I called and hung up. The next day I called and they said Nina was on another call would I like to be on hold? I said yes and listened to hold music for about a minute before they disconnected me. There went week 1. Week 2 begins the same way (no customer service on the weekends). I called and no delivery date provided. In fact, if you look at my phone records, you’ll see I called every day that week and do not have a single call from them. Finally on Friday, April 4th, the agent told me they would be delivering my things Monday or Tuesday. I thought the nightmare might finally end. I was wrong again! The agent gave me the driver’s phone number and I called him and left a message. I didn’t hear back so on Sunday I called again and got the driver. Conversations with the driver would have been much easier if he spoke reasonable English. He told me he’d be here Wednesday or Thursday. At this point, I’m confused since I’m hearing two different stories. So I called Bay Flower again. The best example of Bay Flower’s complete disregard for their customers was that I called around 2pm ET and no one in the dispatch group or customer service answered the phone. I then called sales, since I knew they’d be there. The salesman told me they were all at lunch and to call back in 30 minutes. All go to lunch at the same time! OK, so I called back in 30 minutes and spoke to customer service who assured me the delivery would be Thursday at noon. I requested noon as this was now impacting my job. Wednesday afternoon I called the driver again around 3:30pm PT and he told me he was on the way and he would be to my house by 5pm. Glad I called the driver as I had not been contacted by Bay Flower of this change. I was afraid to say no so I said fine and rearranged my work to be able to receive the delivery. The truck shows up and it’s not a Bay Flower truck. It’s from some other company. (Not what I had been told). I had a cashier’s check but they wouldn’t accept that so I ran to the bank to get them a money order. And they started unloading. For the most part it was fine except communication was difficult. As they took things off the truck, I checked them off the list. And of course, there are some items missing. Then they started to put together the things the packers had taken apart (part of the contract agreement). They could not find the screws for my bed and I couldn’t help as I didn’t pack, the Bay Flower packers did. I asked what they would do as this is part of the contracted service I paid way too much for. They couldn’t do anything since they had to leave and go to another delivery. So I’m stuck again! The next day I called Bay Flower and Nina answered the phone. I asked what can be done about my bed. She told me that I had to find the screws or get new ones if I couldn’t find them and hire someone to put the bed together and Bay Flower would reimburse me. Great help! So glad I paid a premium for Bay Flower to do this work. By this time, I had enough and since my possessions were no longer being held hostage, I could finally take action. Interesting that Nina told me if I posted about my experience and left a bad review, they would not consider compensating me for the mess they created. I decided it was more important to warn other users than to fight for money. They are under contract to do this work and it should not fall to me to resolve their issues. Nina sent me a claims form. Big Help! So, I paid significantly more than estimated ($2000) and spent 3 weeks with nothing waiting for a company that would not respond to my queries. I had to adjust my work schedule to suit them at a moment’s notice since they would not keep me informed. I have no bed frame and no help to get it fixed. I work in a service industry. If I treated my customers like this, I would have been fired many, many years ago. A sales department that will say anything to get you to sign the contract and then not care afterwards and a dispatch and customer service department that will not respond to queries and disconnect the call. I take care of my mother who has Alzheimers. She was staying with my aunt in New York until the house was set up. She wound up there 2 weeks longer than planned. So they not only held my possessions and my life hostage but also put my mother’s health at risk. I warn anyone looking to make a move to avoid Bay Flower Moving Company at all costs. And when you select a better firm, make sure all is in writing. Don’t just accept their standard contract. It is written for their interests only. If the salesman tells you something, make sure you see it written in the contract. If they won’t do that, find another company that will.
Like many others I hate to move. But I had to go through this Stressful and problematic event just last week. Fortunately for me with BayFlower Moving GroupI had no problems what so ever. It was completely special and flawless at the same time. Movers came on time and they began their work immediately. I felt that they knew what they were up to and they were managing the move very efficiently. They packed, moved and stored all my belongings without a single scratch and they were also quite fast. I was living on the 4th floor apartment and although we had an elevator the furniture would not fit in it and had to be moved down from the staircase. The boys were tough and a move that I thought was a very heavy and difficult to execute was just like a piece of cake for them. Finally I got a move that I was looking for. The company’s customer service is excellent, they kept calling me from time to time just to insure I was having no problems and the packers were caring out the move professionally. From my yesterday’s experience all I can say is that BayFlower Moving Group is a very good moving company and the services they provide are the best in the business. So if you looking to hire the services of a company that can actually be the answer for all your packing and moving stress only consider BayFlower Moving Group.
Movers of BayFlower Moving gave me exactly what I was looking for. I could not have asked for anything more. They have taken care of my move perfectly. The way their movers were dealing with the furniture, sensitive, expensive and vulnerable stuffs really deserves appreciation. I am sure that these movers are highly experienced and very skilled. They showed that they can manage any kind of odds. It was great to see all my belongings in one piece and in perfect condition after the move. I was never thinking to have such a timely, neat, stress free, smooth move but they made it possible for me. I thank them for their world class performance and for charging a very competitive amount. I really appreciate their service and commitment. I am sure that they have many happy and repeat customers, especially for long distance moves like mine!!
I have moved a lot in my life. I have to relocate quite often due to the nature of my job. That is why I used many moving companies and in most of the cases ended up with disaster. Few days ago I move again and this time from FL to TX. This time I went for the quality. I was willing to spend a good amount just to avoid the troubles. So, I hired BayFlower Moving Group for the task because this s reputable company. They did not let me down. Their team showed up on time and did their job flawlessly. They nicely dealt with the problems and did necessary to avoid unwanted circumstances. It was a very smooth, stress free, awesome.
I had a great experience with BayFlower Moving Group we really couldn't have asked for a better move. The move was going to be difficult but the professionals at BayFlower handled everything perfectly. Never did they stop working or pleasing me. This company was hands down true professionals. I had a great experience and I am sure that you will too.
I had over $500 in items stolen I have made a claim to the company. After trying to contact them numerous times, I finally got an answer saying that it will be at least 3 months for my claim to process. Well, it has been 3 months and still no satifaction. Trying to get Nina from the Claims department to give me any kind of communication is like pulling teeth. No matter how many times I try to contact her, she will not answer calls or email. I have asked for her supervisors name & number & of course she didn't give me that either. Not only were my things lost, but among them were some special items that was given to me by my grandfather. Those can never be replaced. On top of all that, I was quoted one price which I ased at least 5 times if this was my final price. I was assured it was. When the movers came, there was another $400 in charges added on. I find Bayflower to be a very deceiving company. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone I know, nor will I ever use them again. I am totallly dissapointed in this so called "trustworthy" company. .
I accurred an extra $1400 then what was qouted. Then when it came to talking to a customers service rep, they stated I should be lucky I am not spending more money. They would not budge or refund any of our money. The movers also broke my table. Which that is another headache I have to deal with. I would also be wary about some of there great posts. .
Great move! This move was so pain free, these movers did exactly what they said when they said they would and took care of my belongings. I really appreciate honest up from approach and the customer service is great!
Moving over a few hundred miles there's bound to be quite some difficulties but with them, there wasn't any!! I will be going to them again!!
