Lol at this company submitting fake 5 star reviews to inflate its rating- see the warning message at the top of the reviews about repeat submissions from the same IP address. My move with Arena was so bad I looked around for cameras to see if I was getting "punked". From the surprise upcharges to the damage both during move in and move out, this was a goat rodeo from start to finish. Save yourself the anguish, the damages, and probably money- if you pay for "disassembly and reassembly of basic furniture", know that "basic furniture" is up to your mover to decide. Mine didn't think a bookshelf that takes 2 minutes to disassemble was basic enough, so instead they charged me more since it took up more space. Then on arrival, the bed somehow transformed into "not basic enough to assemble" LOL.Thanks Arena! Gotta laugh to stop from crying; would be very surprised if these aren't legitimately the worst movers in the US when you back out all the fake 5 star reviews.

We initially spoke with Swift Shift van lines, and Arena van lines showed up on the day of our move. The drive increased our cost from 4,500 to $7,500 stating we were taking up more cubic feet. Then he said our stuff would arrive 5/25/24. It is now 6/4/24 and they are blocking our calls, and when we call from different numbers, they tell us there is no date set for our delivery. They also refuse to allow us to speak with the manager, and couldn't tell us who the owner of the company was. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY and do not use any other company that contracts with them.

Holy shit! What an absolute Gong Show! Worst movers I've had.

I specifically ordered for an EMPTY 26ft moving truck ~1690 cu.ft. through SWIFT SHIFT VAN LINES, another bunch of chuckle-f**KS that ruined my day.

Arena Van Lines sends out two dudes at 11am with a truck that already has a load in it and only ~500cu.ft. of space. Then they proceed to tell me my move will be 2100cuft. And upquote me by $3000. I don't care. I ordered an EMPTY 26FT truck ~1690cu.ft., not for you to overestimate my property.

He proceeds to tell me that they'll wrap the furniture today and come back tomorrow and load it. Dude, I don't think so. This is a 1 day move.

He tells me "it's a heavy job". Yes, it's a job about moving people's furniture. And a 3bed-2.5bath, 2300sqft. Isn't THAT big of a job.

I moved everything in here 2 years ago without a moving company in a 26ft. Truck. And I've gotten rid of things since then.

After 1.5 hours of back and forth, finally get them to agree to ~1690 cu. Ft. And they leave for an hour to rent an empty truck from Uhaul. They start at 3:45pm....as of writing this, it's 9pm and they're less than half through.

One dude makes frequent trips to the truck empty handed. Sometimes he follows the other dude who is carrying a box....but he's still not holding anything.

If anyone that has moved in early April to now happens to come across a box with a stuffed Pua pig and a black gift bag labeled "Violet" all in a box with my socks and other clothing. Please, please reach out to me. Violet is my 15 year old chihuahua and those are her remains in the sealed wooden box as well as a clay paw print, an ink paw print as well as a little clipping of her hair in the ribbon. While I have much more missing from this move, she is irreplaceable.

Fraudulent company and inept. I have booked my move through Nationwide for 5000$ after going through all the inventory over phone. I wasn't told that time that Nationwide are just brokers. Arena van lines showed up on day of pick up . 2 guys showed up at 9AM.Foreman went through the house gave a new estimate of 7000$ as they said the inventory would occupy more cubic feet than what nationwide quoted. I agreed on the move. They couldn't pack stuff even by the end of day at 6Pm.I had to pack the whole kitchen my self spending 4 hours in the afternoon. They revised the quote again in the afternoon to 9500$ saying that there are more boxes than expected. They wouldn't unmount or mount TV, They wouldn't disassemble treadmill. They wouldn't accept any other payment mode except for credit card and there is a surcharge of 3% for credit card billing. My previous move with flatrate movers was excellent. Moving with Nationwide/Arena van lines was the most awful experience I ever had in the United States !! Beware of these guys as they are subcontractors and have no accountability. All they care about is money, they try to exploit customers financially. The total move cost was 11500 $(Nationwide+Arena vanlines) for a 2300square foot home /inventory to be moved with in Arkansas over a distance of 250 miles.

If you want your move to be anyway less stressful by hiring movers, this company is not the way to go. Trust me, don’t do it to yourself. They were days behind schedule and had a ton of hidden fees. Poor communication, barely speak english. Different men for move out and move in, only two men each time so it took forever. They charge you by how much space you take in their truck(only to have it delivered in a different truck), and they charge with how many stairs you have. They have made our move more stressful than what it should of been. It is impossible to get in contact with any form of supervisor. They will not tell you what time they are arriving till the day of and still be late. When you speak with customer service they will talk over you and disregard all your frustrations. We have spent over 5k with this company and it was the poorest experience for that price. I honestly felt bad for the men moving the stuff since it was only two of them, hard labor. This company does not seem legit at all, don’t trust them. They only accept cash, zelle, or venmo and they claimed to not receive our zelle delaying the whole process.

Arena Van Lines is the most inept company I have used.

12 days ago, Arena picked up 75% of my stuff quoted in the estimate and charged 200% of the estimate. My stuff still has not been delivered and the delivery is not even scheduled. Scheduling the actual delivery is impossible. Every time I call, I get the run around. Arena Van Lines only stated that I will receive my delivery sometime this YEAR despite the contract stating up to 3 weeks. Jeff Massey, my customer service rep, won't return my calls or emails. This company is awful and everyone should stay away from this Arena Van Lines.

DO NOT use this company. They will lie about estimate and they will lie about delivery date to get you to sign with them. I booked these guys for out of state move, they quoted $3100 and said delivery should easily be by Nov 23. Then the nightmare began. The were late to pick up, then gave new estimate for delivery to be $7800. We added 5 boxes from the initial quote. They know you don't have an option once during the move date so they will screw you. So they took our stuff and now it has been 2 weeks and past the estimated delivery date and I can not even get them to schedule my stuff to be loaded on a truck to start the move. At this point it will be a miracle if I get my stuff by Dec 23. I would avoid this company at all costs. I am almost certain all other reviews are fake so proceed with caution. As a warning, I would say it would be cheaper and faster and better service with any of the national moving companies.

Do yourself a favor and don't even consider using this company. Everything they tell you is a lie. They changed our paperwork we signed once they picked up our items. I tried to get this resolved, but they said I changed the documents, which was impossible, because I was given a carbon copy at the time of pickup. When our items were picked up the crew came in a U-Haul van. I asked why, and was told the truck broke down, and they were there to pick up are items,

and transfer to the truck and ship. Instead I found out all our items went to a warehouse, were they sat for over a month.

Every time I called for an update on when our items would ship, they were very rude, and told me they didn't know when they could ship. Our cu ft started out at around 850,

but they changed it to 1150 cu ft. I was told that they did this to make sure there was enough room on the truck at the time of pick up. I was told this would be adjusted once truck was loaded. When we finally received our item, I measured the area, and it came out to a little over 850 cu ft. They told me the area was around 1050 cu ft. Again they took advantage of us and charged us for area we didn't use.

Once we received our item, we had broken crystal glasses,

which were packed in special boxes, and marked fragile.

The box was all broken up on the sides, also had Indian

pottery, that was broken. We also shipped a 11 ft paddle board with our items, that came a month later, because of a

driver error. The driver they used was Russian and couldn't speak English. He had no idea what a paddle board was, and so we filed a missing item report. Once we got the paddle board it was scratched badly on the nose and rear because of not wrapping properly. To sum it all up, this was the worst experience me and my wife have ever had. What they tell you up front changes after you sign their contract.

This company needs to be held responsible, so they can't take advantage of other like they did us! Do yourself a big favor, and don't trust this company and what they tell you.

Not only did they DOUBLE the estimate once they had my stuff in the truck, they also changed the delivery date from 5 days later to 30 BUISNESS DAYS, a time line that they still haven't kept. Now they are saying that my credit card payment is not acceptable and they are demanding cash on delivery or they won't deliver my items. This company has made my move a nightmare and the customer service has been just as bad. When I would call, they would keep repeating that all quotes are estimates and that I would get my things when I would get them, with no timeline given. This company is a total scam and I beg anyone reading this to run as far away as possible.

Actual cost was almost 3 times my estimate.

Picked-up my furniture on 1-2-21. after numerous calls to numerous people, including the broker, who refused to return my calls, [Allegiance Moving and Storage], my furniture was delivered today2-1-21 When the got here, they tried to shake me down for another $350 plus TIP! They decided they would just leave my stuff in the driveway 300 ft. from the garage because I wouldn't pay the $350 and they knew the would not be getting a tip.[ they suggested tip should be $100 each] Things are broken and missing. Guys were very rude. Called the office, they coundn't care less. Called the broker, they said they have no responsibility for any of this.

Got a quote to move my household goods from Indiana to Texas. Phone salesman was very, very helpful and confident of good service and pricing. Quoted $3000 for 2 bedroom apartment. Subsequent call with detailed inventory raised that to $3400. Truck arrived late for pick up (granted, it was snowing outside), and driver adjusted that amount to over $5000 before he would start loading - saying garage items added to cost - though salesman and I had discussed each item in detail. What you going to do with a truck there, time running short on the relocation process? Sigh, and break out the credit card (that they don't want customers to use, preferring a cash/money order transaction).

Delivery was promised within 7 days. Never arrived. Customer service said "read the fine print", we have up to 30 days to deliver. Couldn't give me a scheduled date. Another week goes by with no word. Finally, I get an e-mail suggesting that "maybe" they would be there the following week - with a 3 day window. Also demanding cash/postal money order before delivery.

Am I happy? Not especially.

Unfortunately, this company was chosen for my delivery via the broker (transport) company I used & wasn’t made aware of the company until they showed up on my pick up date. My belongings were picked up a week ago & I've already had to call twice regarding my delivery. The initial phone call the rep stated a delivery had not been scheduled due to needing to verify my availability, despite this being discussed with & documented by the delivery driver upon pickup, whom stated delivery is typically 3-5 days. My second phone call I was told an ETA can be provided within the next week. Basically, our belongings (furniture, clothes, everyday essentials) are sitting in Chicago while we’re in Phoenix a week later and could possibly be longer. This is such a terrible way to conduct business.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

The pick up went very smooth. They called 30 minutes before pickup, were courteous and hard working. Both were foreign so I guess I should've known. This company was contracted through a different company that gave me the quote. I was quoted $4241 and by the time they were done packing I was up to $5800. I had already paid an extra $500 for additional space which, of course, I went over. A couple days later I was contacted to be informed that they would be there to drop off between 5 and 6 PM. I did receive a phone call stating there were "tire issues" and they would not be able to deliver until 9 and 11 AM the next morning. When 11:15 came and went I called to see where they were, as I still had not received a call. He told me he would call me back in 15 minutes to let me know what the movers had said. After another 30 minutes STILL no phone call. I called back and asked about the movers and the lady told me she spoke to them and were on their way. I told her I still had not received a call. After yet another 15 minutes I called back and asked to speak to a manager. When I spoke with the supervisor he stated they were 30 miles away. I never got a phone call that they showed up until my nephew called to let me know they FINALLY showed up at the house. To my surprise they were the same guys that packed my apartment up! That made me even madder because I knew they were better than this because when they picked up they called saying they would be at my apartment in an hour and were there in 30 minutes! When I got to my new house and met the movers I told them I was not happy! I preceded to let him know that I did NOT appreciate that they were two hours late and had not bothered to call me. I went off. The stress of the move had finally gotten to me and I let loose! He then decided to get back in his truck to try and LEAVE! I stood in front of it. Apparently they wanted me to call the police so I did! Before the police could even get there they left with my stuff still on the truck to the next block. Needless to say they emptied the truck. I was told that my belongings would be unpacked, placed and reassembled. Well, surprise! That didn't happen. They dropped off, took their moving blankets and left! I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN! Arena Van Lines wasn't even advertised on the truck!!! And as far as them stating they had tire issues, the front tire that I saw had no tread so I am not even sure I believe that lie! Wish I would have gotten closer to take more photos of the truck. Be careful who moves you. So many scammers out there anymore!

Unfortunately I used a broker and got stuck with this company.

On pick-up: They initially give a 3 day window but say they'll give me a definite pick up time a week in advance. Fine. They're supposed to come Sunday between 9-12. 12p comes and goes, no phone call, no movers. I spend all day trying to get someone on the phone, at 6pm I finally reach the mover who says (without apology): We'll come tomorrow instead. They were several hours late the next day. Came with 2 people instead of the promised 3-4, so while the 2 men worked hard, it took much longer than anticipated.

On delivery: I wish I could tell you! They gave me a 3-10 day estimate. It's been more than 6 weeks. Customer service is completely unconcerned. Apparently my stuff is in a warehouse in Chicago and will be delivered "when we have a driver." It's been so long they're refunding me $30/day(started after the 30th business day) until delivery (although I had to pay 2/3 up front), and even on that they're trying to lie about pick up dates to avoid paying the measly $30.

Maybe they would care about my move if I wasn't using a broker, maybe this is how they treat everyone. Either way, Do Not Recommend.

For collecting clients they lure with the slogan "Fast, cheap and easy", but in fact your move will take forever, expensive and not easy at all. Arena Van Lines took my stuff in August, 26 and now it has been more then 3 weeks and past the estimated delivery date. They promised to deliver in 5-10 days. I've already had to call few times regarding my delivery and didn't receive clear answer. Delivery had not been scheduled yet because they have no driver. It would be cheaper, faster and better service with any other moving companies. This is such a terrible way to conduct business.

Scheduled to pack on Thursday load on Friday. Never showed on Thursday. Told by company that they had plenty of help to pack and load on Friday. Showed up with 1/4 of their truck already loaded with someone else stuff and only 2 people to pack and load. Never finished job until 4:00Pm on Saturday after having to go unload part of my stuff 2 different times. My wife and I packed 15 boxes ourselves to help move the process along. When I ask about the price change and if he was going to discount it since we packed so much he told me that the overage was because his boxes were better. Driver told me to call company and get discount. Have called company multiple time no response. What a joke. Never again.

I did not choose this company, I hired a brokerage that chose this company and it was awful.

They were 3 days late to pick my stuff up, everyday telling me it would be there in the next 2 hours and then no-show. This happened for 3 days where I was basically handcuffed to my house.

Once they finally came and loaded up my stuff, they handed me a contract to sign that said 'delivery up to 30 days after selected delivery date' I was hesitant to sign, but they had already loaded my stuff and they assured me it wouldn't take that long. I figured it would take a week.

Well 30 days mean 30 BUSINESS days, and I lived in my apartment for 6 weeks without stuff, and the customer service people were just rude and were unconcerned.

When the stuff did arrive, much of the stuff was broken but i wanted to be done with this company.

Overall a horrible experience

My comments are similar to others. Price goes up every minute of the move. No regard for schedules or dates. Tons of damage to my stuff. Their packers are inept because most of them are picked up off the street at the last minute. Can't file a claim because of the poor paperwork. Avoid these movers at all cost. Make sure a broker you are working with has not contracted with them. You will totally regret it. I can post dozens of pictures of the damage done. Not to mention the amount of stuff they didn't pack and left behind and the missing hardware for some of my furniture./

This moving service is horrible. My father died unexpectedly and we had to reschedule delivery. Now we have been without furniture, clothing, and toys for my baby since August 3rd when they packed our goods. They refuse to pack our belongings into a truck despite us begging them. They promised to pack our goods yesterday or today and now just informed us that our goods are not packed and there is no plan for them to be shipped to us. We are stranded without anything just because we had to fly home for an unexpected family death.
