I AM WARNING YOU, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IT IS A COMPLETE SCAM.

They took my $1400 deposit for a move. Didn't show up and ghosted me. They will have your phone # on record and will ignore you if you call them. I finally got ahold of someone and they said someone from accounting would contact me to work with me on a refund and that did not happen. Please save yourself a major headache and don't waste your money.

Also, the 1 star rating I gave them was because I was forced to do so. They deserve negative stars

Martin keeps calling, telling me the company I hired to do my move won’t show up for the move and if they do, they’ll demand a ton more money. He’s telling me my “job” isn’t on the job board to be done. And he will have to pick up my move as a recovery move.

This is a scare tactic so I will drop my company and go with them. DON’T fall for it! Martin says he’s the manager but then put his manager on the phone to tell me the same BS. More scare tactic BS. If they were a reputable company, they’d work on helping new customers rather than scaring customers of other companies to switch to them!

Just dirty a$$holes.

The only positive ratings they have are from their own people, and friends.

BEWARE! Our need for a partial load move of some boxes and furniture from Missoula, MT to Snellville, GA led me to contract with American Plus Moving and Storage (a moving broker). The agreement to move our items was dated August 18, 2021. I provided a electronic personal check for $702 to cover the initial deposit on August 18. It all seemed above board regarding the cost and pick-up dates of Sept. 3-4, 2021. The carrier was to notify me at least 24 hours before the pick-up as to when they would arrive. The items had to be pick-up due to the house having been sold and our item must be removed before closing. I contacted via email the company on Sept. 3 since we had not heard within 24 hours of our pick-up as indicated in our contract. I then received an email later that day saying "We do apologize, the initial carrier we had assigned did cancel on us. Our dispatch team is working on the next available truck in your area. We are running late and will keep you updated today." Customer Service for American Plus Moving and Storage failed to contact me that day, but sent the following message: "Yes they didn't call (me) because they (the carrier) cancelled on us and can no longer do the pick up for us, that is why our dispatch team is working on the next available truck". With the clock ticking of having to have the items out of the house, I contacted American Plus to cancel the contract for their non-fulfillment of the contract and looked for an alternative for my load. American Plus then sent the following email: "Your move will be cancelled out and our accounting team will be in contact with you" to resolve the status of my deposit. As of today, Oct. 11, 2021 I have not heard from any American Plus representative. Between Sept. 4 and today, I have attempted to reach them via phone messages, emails, texts to customer service multiple times without any response from them. I have yet to receive a resolution from accounting regarding the return of my deposit. I realize I signed a cancellation policy, but the policy does not account for or address the non-fulfillment of the contract on American Plus's part. THUS, I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS MOVER WHATSOEVER AND GIVE THEM ZERO RATING. THEIR HONESTY AND INTEGRITY FROM THEIR PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL IS A JOKE. RUN!!!

These latest five stars reviews show you just how corrupt this company is. They use the same name twice and move from and to the same areas. Just shows you how dumb these people are.

Whatever company they paid to give them reviews doesn't get the lies straight as AMERICAN MINUS AREN'T ACTUAL MOVERS BUT A MOVING BROKER, THEY SELL YOUR MOVE TO MORE SCAMMERS. The fake reviews talk about them moving their things but are just more lies from these human garbage. They are crook brokers who need to be held accountable for their thievery. ANY MOVING COMPANY/BROKER THAT WANTS A DEPOSIT UP FRONT IS A SCAM. PAID ON DELIVERY ONLY. Learn from my costly lesson.

Scammers. They demand a deposit first sign one should not use this broker. All their positive reviews are garbage. This scam company won't return any of our phone calls or emails after setting us up with a thief of a mover that after two months still has not delivered our things and is under criminal investigation by our local DA.

The contracts they have you sign are absolutely worthless. If a mover does show up to move your things they will have a new contract with a much higher price to pay, (good luck on moving day finding another mover).

I've filed a criminal complaint with the Florida Attorney General with this company, for some reason seems most of these scum brokers are based in South Florida. I would avoid all moving brokers based here. Red flag two.

All reviews for this companies are absolute crap outside of the fake five star they put up. Don't just look at Google reviews and their fake website reviews. Learn from my costly mistake and avoid this rip off company.

First off, even though I am giving one star, let me say that I appreciate all that my customer service agent is trying to do for us - or so it seems like she is.

A Plus Moving and Storage is not a company you want to go through for moving your household items, at least if your move includes that second part in the title. We have given our date and address for delivery almost a month ago now, and with 2 weeks past in a 3-week window to deliver our household there is still no word on when our stuff is getting to us, or even WHERE it is. Luckily, because we gave our date, we have been told by our agent that we are on a delivery and not storage list so no longer paying for it. We'll see about that.

The point I'm trying to make is that because A Plus is a moving broker, it's not them moving your stuff, and from what I've deduced they contract out to the lowest bidder so they can get the most bang for their buck; this screws you, the customer, over in the process with being left to wonder if your items will ever arrive. Seriously, heed these bad reviews. You think it'll work out for you, but it won't (this was us).

If you're from A Plus and reading this, go ahead and respond - I dare you. It seems like the only thing to get your company's act together is for another bad review to go out. With all the others I've seen too little too late, these bad reviews must just be noise now.

Long story short - they're getting one star because it's not possible to give zero. The company swore up and down they'd take care of my things and assured me that the standard $0.60/lb reimbursement (which seemed a little shady and having gone through this process is absolutely ridiculously low - there's no way the reimbursement could replace your items if anything is damaged). Then they proceeded to deliver with a mere 40-minutes notice, making me leave work abruptly to meet them (and still didn't show up for another two hours) and unload items that looked like they had been drop kicked off the side of the truck. Items clearly labeled 'this side up' were upside down and they even managed to break dumbbells. And finally, they even tried to short-change me on the little reimbursement I was allotted, not accurately calculating the weight of the damaged items listed on my reimbursement form. Steer clear of this company if you're moving.

DO NOT book with these people. They will rip you off. They provided no service to me yet they kept my $1,738 deposit. The entire amount. They are trying to tell me it's like an airline ticket & is non-refundable even though they provided me with NO SERVICE!!! I originally booked the move on 10/16/21, I attempted to cancel on 12/4/21 & finally they called me back & I was able to cancel on 12/6/21. The move was scheduled for 2/25/21. They underestimated my cubic ft so they could give me a lower quote & I fell for it. PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT call these people!! It's a SCAM!!! I would not even give it 1 star but they are fast talkers. The cancellation people are extremely rude!!!

From when we asked for information until we booked the service and all the questions we had afterward, American Plus Moving patiently and promptly answered all our questions via email or phone. The moving day went very smoothly too. We were very organized, and so were they. They didn't mind the long hallway to the elevator at the apartment and all the stairs they had to climb at our destination and were very careful with wrapping and unwrapping all the furniture. They were on time and efficient, and reasonably priced. Thank you for a great job done.
