Very bad company.

In September 2017, I used the moving service at this company but it was bad. This company charged me more money and spend more time to deliver the staff to my new home. When they delivered to my new home, they asked me pay cash and then they can load off the staff. Also they damaged my staffs (computer, chair, sofa and book shelf, lamp and so on) and most boxes were broken. This is the worst moving company which I met. I never look for this company again. Bad company, bad service, bad employees and high charges.

Terrible move to Chicago.

This is about an American Knights move from Austin to Chicago in August 2018. I’ve held off on writing a review because the memory is painful. American Knights was negligent in the move:
They sent my queen mattress to the wrong city (!), broke other furniture, and tried to extort a $200 “long carry” fee when they brought the wrong truck in Chicago.

I do give credit to the dispatch team for being communicative and sympathetic. However the move was terrible: American Knights showed up late in Austin, causing trouble with the building elevator reservation. They were scheduled to pick up my mattress in Houston that day but rescheduled – and missed the new window. In Chicago, the truck they brought was too big (despite a $395 “delivery shuttle” fee to cover exactly this), and the delivery team tried to extort a $200 additional “long carry” fee.

My queen mattress was not on the truck. American Knights tracked it down a week later, on a truck to NYC. It arrived six weeks late; I had to buy another mattress in the meantime. My heavy, Italian wood dining room table was destroyed – looked like someone dragged it a long way over course concrete.

Don’t hire American Knights. And if you do, don’t expect them to do the job effectively or on time.

HIgh Qualified Team.

American Knights Moving provided excellent and professional service. From the time I reached out to them, they could not have been more helpful. They responded immediately and set up a moving date. The employees who arrived promptly were extremely courteous. They handled the items to be moved with great care. They went above and beyond what I expected. We had wrapped a mattress for them to move. They took the time to cover it again to be sure it was protected. Every item was carefully moved. And the move was completed in record time. I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

Fantastic Team.

The team was fantastic - fast, efficient, careful - and they accomplished the work under the initial time estimate. My furniture was wrapped well and moved safely with care and attention. The furniture was also put together quickly and correctly when delivered. The team listened and communicated well with me. I really was pleased with American Knights Moving and have already recommended them to someone moving.

Moving truck caught on fire everything lost.

Last year, everything we owned along with 2 other families was lost. This company lied and was incompetent. Our moving truck caught on fire. This was last May and today we are still unable to reach the person in their company who's job is to help. Misty.
Chose another company, because if anything goes wrong you will regret it.
My family has suffered so much from this loss and is angered by the way it was handled.
AVOID AT ALL COST
wish I could give 0 starts.

Best Team..

American Knights Moving team is the best!! Thanks so much for making my move so smooth. The men who pick my phonewas quick to respond to my emails and phone calls and was able to answer most of my questions. The dispatch manager was also easily reachable and very efficient at helping me sort out my delivery. Thanks again for a job well done, will definitely book again for my next move.

Amazing!

Great movers!

American Knights is a great moving company. They took care of our stuff and got it to us in a timely manner. There was nothing missing or damaged at all. I would be happy to use them again. Positive Experience.

We used American Knights Moving to move locally. I would highly recommend them. The staff was professional and made the whole process very easy. They arrived on time and took great care with our items. I didn’t have a single problem and as someone who has moved many times I can say that it doesn’t always go easily but this company gave me a truly positive experience. You should contact them. Fantastic Experience.

I was a little hesitant when I first started looking for a long distance mover. I’d never done a move like this before and I didn’t know what to expect. American Knights Moving was so good at answering our questions and making us feel at ease. From start to finish they did everything we needed. They really made me happy that I decided to do business with them. From packing to mixing these guys made my moving experience so much less stressful. I assumed that it would be awful but it’s so great that I was able to find good help. They are super nice guys! Great.

My experience with American Knights was GREAT!! They arrived in time and were so efficient. They were enthusiastic, helpful, and kind. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. I was so concerned about the move but they made everything very easy. They didn’t let me carry anything myself and the price was right on budget for us. Honestly everything went better than expected. Great Service!

Pathetic Courier Service.

Hi All -

I want to update you Never ever do your movement with American Knight as they really don't carry your home stuffs. I really had a bad experience with them.

I have paid $2500+ for entire movement from Virginia to Atlanta & during movement they lost my bed. Remaining stuff they delivered with 3 weeks of delay which was also frustrating.
Now, for my lost my bed claim they are just giving me $40 as reimbursement which is more pathetic.

Never ever go with American Knights.

Understanding that we were a small job and timing was fluid, Misti worked with us to move my Mother-in-law from Texas to Alabama. We had a challenge dealing with several issues to time her travel with that of her furniture arrival and the assisted living facility. Misti's understanding our situation, worked hard to push the furniture schedule to match our other needs.

Unbelievably wonderful.

If only these guys worked in real estate, my relocation would have been perfect. The closing on my house was chaos, but the movers did such a wonderful job! They packed all of my great grandmothers crystal so well, everything made it in perfect condition! I could cry I’m so happy. I was so nervous about this and Francisco and Gily did such a wonderful job.

The worst moving company ever.

To tell you everything that went wrong would take a novel. To summarize, this company (?) was late (by 2 days) with pick-up. Showed up to deliver unannounced, broke furniture, damaged walls, opened boxes and stole shoes!! The claims process took 180 days, then said they owed nothing. After a second review, and 60 more days, they sent a check for $54.

The absolute worst!! DO NOT USE THIS sham of a moving company.

Very responsive to change in schedule.

Our move was fraught with schedule changes as there were issues with the buyer of our old home before we could move into our new home. They adjusted, sometimes last minute, and worked with us very closely. It was easy to contact them and talk to someone anytime. The move went swiftly and was done professionally. When our last reschedule conflicted with their availability, they even gave us free overnight storage so they could deliver the next day. They were very friendly and we would use them again.

Mike was so accommodating and helpful getting me scheduled. She answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns before the move. Micheal and team were right on time. They took me through all the paperwork and the guys got right to work. They took apart all the furniture and put everything back together again. They all worked so tirelessly, and they really earned every penny and more.

Extremely grateful for their professionalism.

I needed to move from my apt up 2 floors and of course it was raining. American Knights Moving came to the rescue and moved my 3 bedroom apt in 5 hours. I would have never believed it could happen as smoothly as it did, until I saw these guys work! They moved my stuff with extreme care and nothing got wet or damaged. It rained at the start and they were unfazed. They kept an extremely positive attitude through the whole move. I cannot say enough good about these guys.

The whole experience was much more professional than I had ever experienced in the past. I liked how there was a first time meeting for an estimate and then future communication to confirm everything. The movers were very timely. They moved everything with no issues or damage. Administration was really cordial, expert, and speedy. They gave several heads ups through the telephone to tell us their accurate appearance time. At the point when they got to the loft we were moving out of, they had three people with them, rather than the two we had recruited, in light of the fact that the move they were coming from had employed three. Rather than simply having the additional individual stick around, each of the three of the folks cooperated to finish the move in record time for no additional charge. Our entire loft was stacked into their truck inside a half hour without any problem. It was really astounding to watch.

I highly recommend them!

I made a list of each box's contents as well as my personal possessions. When friends told me that items may be misplaced while traveling long distances, I was concerned. But I didn't have to worry but everything was in great shape when it came. It was especially reassuring because the movers had properly labelled each item. Every single person I met was courteous, professional, and accommodating. Following an accident involving one of their drivers, my transfer was postponed, but the firm generously accommodated me.
