I moved to a panoramic building in beach side in North Carolina, and these guys seem to be able perform miracles with the way they got the furniture into the new building. Allegiance coordinated a lot of different things, from the parking permit, to service elevator to the insurance certificate. They had to take apart a lot of my furniture in order to get it through the doorways so they had their hands full and they made it seem like it was nothing, a walk in the park. By nightfall I was sipping a drink on the balcony watching the waves!

I just received my delivery from Allegiance moving and storage and I must admit that google reviews or even yelp ones are not accurate with them. I can understand issues that arise during the moving process but they were transparent and honest from beginning to end. I knew all the information for my move from the beginning and throughout the whole process. Now that I have my items and not one scratch or missing items is a sigh of relief. I am forever grateful for their assistance and will refer them to anyone I know moving. There as one customer service representative that went above and beyond even at midnight when I called, she not only was half asleep yet jumped to help me she was able to answer all my questions although I did feel bad for the time I called. I don’t know her last name but her first is Jackie and she is and was a God send. Thank you again the amazing team of Allegiance moving and storage and keep up the amazing work! 5 stars and more if possible.

I recently used the services of Allegiance moving and storage for my move from Georgia to Washington and I couldn’t be more amazed. I have used moving companies before and I could never get a hold of anyone or was rushed to book my move NOW or I'd lose my discounts, not with Allegiance, they were honest and listened to what I needed vs what they did. The accommodated my move in the 30 day time frame I had from start to finish and over exceeded my expectations. I was treated with respect and patience and any time I had a question not only was their amazing customer service department available even at 11pm at night to answer but the crew treated my items with care and delicacy. Best decision I made was hiring Allegiance to help facilitate my move. Thank you again !!

I have used a lot of moving companies being the fact that not only did I grow up in a military family but I myself am in the military and I am shocked as towards why I have never used Allegiance moving and storage before. Not only did they know exactly what a military move required but asked me all the questions that I didn't even think to bring up. I was even given a discount for being a service member and have their number locked in for when I get relocated again.

With Allegiance movers, we couldn't have made a better choice. The staff was on time, worked swiftly, and it was clear that they understood what they were doing. It was interesting to see how they planned out a particular method for transporting all of our belongings from a pod to a high-rise structure. Unlike the team from another moving business that we had to employ lately, the movers were courteous and you could tell they genuinely cared about doing a good job.

From NC to Denver and CA:

Horrible. We spent hours on the phone in building a highly detailed inventory of items to be shipped. A hard estimate was given. The actual cost was more than twice the quote! Allegiance sold the contract several times. The actual movers poorly packed the goods resulting in several smashed pictures, broken antiques, and even the broken off and lost arm to a family heirloom antique rocking chair. Do not do business with this company. I would give negative stars above if that was an option.

I just completed a move with Allegiance Moving and Storage. I couldn’t be happier with the entire process. They let me know what to expect during the process of my move and kept me updated on my shipment until it arrived. The moving crew was outstanding at both ends. They showed up early, worked extremely hard and quickly, and made the experience a very positive one. They took great care of everything and customer service was available whenever I had a question. I highly recommended this company for your move.

I think I have to say that Allegiance very well sets the bar high for all the other movers out there. They had integrity and commitment towards us. They were transparent about cost and what our move would like. The quality of service I don’t think can be met by any other company. Okay now that I have said all the good stuff, they did break a floor lamp. The poor guy lost his footing and reached out to steady himself and he was saved but lamp did not. I went through insurance and had a new lamp in no time.

I called this company to move me. BIG MISTAKE!!! They hired another lame ass company Cafefree Movers, Inc. who overcharged me by $2,000, damaged, destroyed, and stole my belongings. They offered me $153 for everything including the items they stole. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from these terrible companies. I'd also like to know how much they paid people to give a 5 star review because they are not even close to 5 stars. I wish I could give ZERO. I hate these people for what they did to me.

There are no words to describe just how grateful and blessed my family and I were to of chosen Allegiance moving and storage for our move back in May. They were so understanding of our special circumstances and the movers were so patient with my wife who has disabilities. They were able to get us packed, loaded and delivered in the time frame we needed and now are fully unpacked and loving no more boxes around the house. Thank you again and would recommend them to anyone moving whether in the same state or to a different one.

I recently used Allegiance moving and storage for my job relocation and I couldn't have asked for better service. Not only were they knowledgeable of the requirements I needed for reimbursement but asked me questions that I didn't even think to ask regarding my employers' requirements to ensure I did get reimbursed. They not only picked me up and delivered in the time they said they would but even went above and beyond to help me with a few things that weren't even their responsibility. Highly recommend them!!

I knew Allegiance was a broker but decided to go with them anyway after calling around a little and getting a $13,000 or so bid for my move from Allegiance versus $19,000 or so from other moving companies. I saw the bad reviews, but also saw “new management” and thought that with the price difference I would give them a chance. This turned out to be one of the worst mistakes I have made.

I walked room by room with the Allegiance rep to get the bid. Listed everything I had in as much detail as possible. This was 3 months before the move. I knew that $13K was probably a little low, and that I needed to get another walkthrough before moving day because most people purge stuff to bring the price down. About three weeks before the move, I started to call Allegience to get another in-person walk through. (The fact that they didn’t reach out to me should have been a red flag.) I was either ignored or ghosted until 5 days before the move, when a rep finally called back and said he could do a video call. His estimate now was $19,000, which I got down to $18,500 by getting rid of some things that I really didn’t want to, because now I had no time to find anyone else and so no choice.

Moving day came and the movers showed up with far too little labor because Allegiance had not communicated with them properly either, and the movers informed me that the real price was going to be $29,400. The head of the moving team helped me get it down to $24,800 by getting rid of a lot more things, but again, what else could I do? Borrow the money and keep going. Moving day was delayed by one day so that the team could get more people, which ended up costing me more money.

The worst part is that there was no point to me even using Allegiance at all. They only provided everyone they dealt with either false, misleading information or no information at all, and offered zero support and follow-up to make sure that the movers actually did what was on the contract. (Like putting together the furniture on the other side which did not happen.) Why didn’t I just deal with the moving companies directly?

Check the reviews, check the Better Business Bureau, and believe them, even if they say new management and offer amazing prices. You won’t actually get them and you will pay people for a service that is worse than nothing at all. Never again will I use any broker, and Allegiance is a complete scam.

I recently got my home items picked up and delivered the next day. Not only are all my items in the same condition as they were packed but they even reassembled my bed and placed my furniture where I asked them to and when I realized that the couch wasn't in a location where I would be able to open the bed portion they were quick to readjust my furniture to fit my living room correctly. They didn't have to do that but I am very grateful since I cannot move the furniture myself. I appreciate all your help and transparency throughout a very difficult time in my life and would highly recommend you to anyone I know.

In simple terms choosing Allegiance Moving and storage was the best decision I have made throughout my whole relocation process. Not only were they punctual but they were respectful to my family and neighbors. They not only picked up my items and did so with care and took their time with some of my fragile items but also were worried about my pregnant wife trying to lift a box and rushed to her so she wouldn't hurt herself or the baby. That was endearing and heartwarming to watch and I am so very grateful. I should be receiving my items in the next few weeks since our new home isn't ready yet and I cannot wait to start turning the new house into our new home. Thank you from the bottom of my and my family's heart.

I just finished unpacking the last box finally! If it wasn't for Allegiance moving and storage I wouldn't have been able to move across the country as quickly and efficiently as I did. They were able to accommodate my military base requirements and my time frame given to move from my supervisor. I was given all the paperwork I needed to get my reimbursement and they even gave me a discount for being a service member. I am very thankful for their help and how fairly priced they are. They were honest and kept to their word. Thank you Allegiance moving and storage. I have already recommended a few of my brothers and sisters at the base about your company and after hearing about my experience they are less worried about a last minute change and having to relocate due to the stress that moving causes. I cannot begin to express the amazing work ethic, honest and fair pricing, and open lines of communication I had with Allegiance moving and storage. They were on time and took such great care with packing and loading my items on the truck. I will be getting my items delivered by tomorrow and they have already called to confirm the time and that they have the necessary tools to build my husband's hospital bed which they are not responsible to do but are as a courtesy since we are an elderly couple and I just do not have the help from my son I had during my pick up at delivery. Thank you again for all your promises kept and hard work!

I contacted Allegiance as my family was going through a difficult time and needed to move some items. My grandmother passed away and lived in California but my father lives in Oregon as well as my brother. We needed to move her belongings to Oregon and we contacted the company just to see how much the cost would be as my brother was the only one who could go there to pack and move everything. The move included a golf cart which the sales representative said would be no problem. He took a list of the items I had with an estimated number of boxes as we were unsure how many there would be. He assured me that he has greatly overestimated the space so there would be no big surprises on the day of the move. He then said there would be a three day window in which the move would occur and I told him it would be the last day because my brother would not arrive until the night before the window began. They then called to pick up the items on day 1 of the window between 8-10 am. Fortunately, they were able to change this and scheduled the move on the last day between 8-10 am. My brother worked tirelessly making sure everything was packed to the best of his ability. On the day of the move the movers did not show up until 2:00 pm leaving my brother waiting around all day. I had to start calling them as nobody contacted me to let me know they would be late. Minutes after arrival they told us they could not take the golf cart. I called customer service and we came to the conclusion they would not take the golf cart. The movers then told us the move would be double the cost quoted and when I brought this up with customer service they said it was because the furniture was nice and not from Ikea. I told them I wanted to cancel but they stated I could not cancel without losing the deposit and my options were then to pay the difference or leave all the remaining items behind. Mind you this is with an entire vehicle, the golf cart, removed from the inventory. They had a list of the items to be moved and did not even fit all of the furniture and included none of the boxes. At this point we were stuck with no options. I sent what would fit in the truck and had to rent a Uhaul to move the bulk of the items that were specifically on the quote. The movers that were there stated that this happens all the time and customers are always mad. After reviewing the BBB it seems this is a trend. If you get a quote you will end up paying double the price. If I would have known this I would have just rented a Uhaul in general and not gone with this unscrupulous company. Beware and think twice before choosing to do business with Allegiance. They will make you an offer to get you to put a deposit down and then extort more money knowing you have no other options on the day of a planned move.
