There was a time in my life when I would have just sold all of my belongings when moving across the country and just bought new when I arrived. After collecting many things over the years that are priceless to me, I decided that it was best that I hired somebody to collect up all my things for me and transport them. I was very nervous about doing so but the team at Allegiance really eased my mind throughout the entire process. From beginning to end they were helpful and friendly and really took good care of me and all my most prized possessions. Please, if you are nervous about trusting strangers with your stuff please use these guys.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3212

I had a very stressful home buying experience. Between our loan getting held up and the buyers getting denied for their loan we were on a roller coaster for MONTHS trying to get all the pieces to the puzzle to fit together nicely. Our only breath of fresh air in this whole experience was Allegiance. Any time we had a hiccup with the home buying all we had to do was call their customer service team and let them know. They never charged us any more or gave us a hard time and they were able to accommodate every change that we made without an issue at all and they did it with smiles on their faces (or at least I think so because I only ever spoke to the ladies over the phone). I wanted to send a sincere thank you to their office team for being our one little cold water oasis in this crazy process!

When I booked with them they said it would take 3-4 days for delivery from Ohio to NC. It’s been 3 weeks and every time I call they tell me to call back the next Friday to see if it’s scheduled. This is not ok. I’ve spent $900 on a hotel for 2 weeks now I’m in my apartment and had to spend an additional $500 for an air mattress and essentials. The keep telling me according to contract they have 30 business days. That’s 6 weeks. I don’t have many clothes for work and none of my things. They also called me the day before and increased the price $700 or they would cancel. I had a job to start that Monday and I couldn’t cancel and they knew it. Do not ever use them.

I really hope these guys stick around to help other people through the NIGHTMARE that moving really is. I priced out about 8 different companies and this one was about middle of road as far as pricing was concerned. I always keep that saying "you get what you pay for" in the back of my head because i have found that to be 100% accurate in the past so i wanted to make sure i didn't go with the cheapest option. I knew i would get the cheapest service if i did that. The service just got better and better as time went on. Mark and his crew even complimented out new home and gave us some decoration suggestions!!!!!!

I contacted Allegiance Moving and Storage and received a quote that looked attractive. My moving consultant Kevin assured me he would be there every step of the move process to make my move “seamless”. What a joke! They hired Royal Star Movers with no input from me, in fact they never disclosed the name of the company they had brokered to move my belongings. The online reviews for this company made me physically sick to my stomach. They showed up in a rented Penske truck, we were moving from Wyoming to South Dakota- I will say the crew did a good job of packing up my house, when they left they explained to my husband they were going to Salt Lake City to put our belongings on another truck. Firstly, I did reach out to Allegiance several times I’m guessing my move coordinator must have blocked my number as he never answered my texts, phone calls or emails. I reached customer service but they never returned my call, I wanted to know when the delivery was scheduled- they too quit answering my calls. Royal Star Moving was so rude to me on the phone and called my husband a liar. The scheduled delivery was March 3d, they wouldn’t tell me where my belongings were, only they were at their “facility” in Salt Lake. The night of March 17th I received a call that my possessions would be delivered the following day. I did get my things, thankfully the gentleman that Royal Star hired was very kind and unloaded everything.

Do your homework people, this was my third move- first was Mayflower, second was United and because I had such great experiences with these two companies I tried to save some money and learned a life lesson that it wasn’t worth it and in fact I ended up paying more money and went through weeks of HELL.

I moved to IA for my new job. My company was paying for my move so the process was a little more complicated than usual. My company had to pay for the move remotely which most moving companies were not willing to do, which i found out after speaking with them at length. The staff at Allegiance said it is not something that they normally do but went out of the way to make it happen for me. I was starting to think i was just going to have to pack up my car with what i could and sell the rest. Allegiance helped me get my most prized possessions where i needed them and helped me meet my company's requirements.

We had to move our mother out of her house because the house was being condemned. She has been hoarding in that house for 20 plus years and we knew it a was a mess. We were up front and honest about the condition of the home beforehand so they came prepared for the disaster that the place was. They were very nice to my mom and very professional even though the place was basically a bio hazard in my opinion. These guys really pulled off mission impossible and did it with grace. I give them a lot of credit for even getting the job done because if i was them i would have run for the hills from the start!

I had a really hard time packing my stuff for my move. I am a single mom of 3 and I just didn’t have the time to pack. I WAS A MESS!!!! I ended up just literally throwing all of my things into boxes as fast as I could and I was a complete mess when the guys got there to load the truck. Through embarrassed tears I explained that I was not at all prepared for this move and I asked if they wanted to postpone because everything was a disaster and they told me not to worry. For a reasonable fee they repacked all of my boxes neatly and carefully. I can’t even explain how much of a relief that was for somebody who has nothing left to give.

As soon as all the help arrived, they had a sort of meeting where they split up all the tasks at hand to try and get things done as efficiently as possible. The boss had a solid plan and was extremely helpful with any questions that we had. The guys were also very respectful in being quiet because my dog is scared of loud noises and is also very old so were trying to avoid having to give her any medication to help with the stress. Everything ended up turning out very well.

Whatever you do look for other movers they're a broker they provide you a cost then when movers show up they tried to get more money out of you we arrived in Colorado Jun 7th we had to wait for a truck coming this way so a month later truck shows up they unload our items from the street which they tried to get more money & my husband had to help guys then they said they were finished my husband comes in & I tell him we didn't get out TV stand no boxes had #s if I hadn't put our names on boxes it probably would've turned out worse broken dishes crushed boxes Computer screen cracked didn't receive boxes of hats electronics called company & got the run around Linda contacted me & told me to file a claim I still didn't receive our items just ridiculous Linda asked me to go out on Goggle & admend my review that company was working to get my items when I tried to contact her or company after a month they stopped answering my calls it's crazy that they would ask me to do a review on their Company when they know we were not happy with the service they provided they assured us We'll be with you every step of your move totally not true rent a U-haul or hire another mover ? I originally wanted to have my stuff moved into my sisters 3 car garage. But after a huge fight with her husband, she told me at the last minute that we couldn’t use her garage anymore. I had no idea what to do. Allegiance offered me a free month of storage but knowing that i was probably never going to use those things again, just sell them, i chose to just have them move it into a storage unit. When i got to the storage place and watched them unload i was really nervous that i was going to need a second unit. I even went to the front desk and found the closest unit closest unit to the one they were unloading in and let them know that it may be be needed because i had a TON of stuff. These guys amazed me with their skill in safely loading every single thing into that locker with even a bit of room to spare. They saved me a whole bunch of money on that second locker.

I had this one sculpture that has been in my family since WAYY before i was born. My grandmother used to take me into the room where it was kept and tell me that one day i will own this piece of our family history and that i needed to treat it with the same love and respect that she did so i could pass it on for generations to come. This sculpture is the only thing i even cared about when moving and i was TERRIFIED to let somebody else have control over transporting it but it was so large i would have had to rent a whole truck just for this one thing and drive it 2,899 miles to IA which wasn’t even remotely an option with 4 kids. I trusted Allegiance with this piece of my family history and they hit it out of the park. They wrapped this thing like they were preparing it for a nuclear war and honestly had it actually gone through a nuclear war it would have been intact they packed it so well. My sculpture is now safe and sound in my den and I will FOR SURE use Allegiance the next time i need it moved!

We had to move our furniture to THREE different states. Pick up in WY and WI and everything delivered in CO within 10 days. I knew this was a tall order when i realized what needed to be done and quite honestly, I was desperate and was willing to pay whatever I had to in order to get this done. When I originally spoke to Kevin at Allegiance, he was extremely helpful and was able to get me a price within my ideal budget. I ended up changing a lot of things after the fact and their team was great at getting that done for me. The price did go up but that was expected as I add a few more services to my order that made my life a heck of a lot easier.

I had some really large furniture items that had to be relocated. I had a church organ that was left to me by my great grandmother and a pristine antique grandfather clock that was made primarily of glass and was very difficult to reassemble (the disassembly is fairly simple but putting that thing back together is a whole different story). They guys who moved these items were FABULOUS. They pretty much made themselves a manual when they were taking the clock apart so they would remember how to put it back together. I DIDNT EVEN THINK OF THAT!!!!

Doing business with Alliance moving and storage was the worst decision I could have made. When putting the contract together, they promised a seamless move and said they were familiar with military moves. Prior to the move, I went over the inventory with Kevin (no last name listed) three times. I went room, by room with him. He even gave me his cell number in case I had any questions or needed any help.

Moving forward to moving date Dec 22, 2020, I get a call early morning saying that my move wouldn’t happen until Dec 23rd. At around noon time I get a call from a driver saying he’s an hour from my pick up location. My husband had to rush home to meet this driver. Driver arrives at 530 pm on 12/22/20, he has a small truck, one helper and a terrible attitude. He only saw the garage by the time he was saying he couldn’t complete the move because we had too many things.

He refused to load the truck and took 2 hours on the phone complaining in Arabic to someone and finally at 7ish pm, he started to load. The driver did not know my husband is fluent Arabic, so he heard all the complaining. The loading is now starting at dark and we have no electricity. They were loading in the dark and my husband and brother in law had to help out.

I was at the new location calling Kevin (who answered after like the 10th call, only to tell me he was on vacation and couldn’t help). I then proceeded to call every number I could find on my invoice and website. I called more than 50 times until I got someone to answer (who was in the east coast). The person that helped me finally called the drivers manager in NorCal to tell him to load all my belongings.

When the driver finally arrived at 1130 pm, he had no weight tickets for me. Prior to signing the contract I had told Kevin that it was imperative that I got weight tickets for military reimbursement. The driver told me that no one told Him I needed weight tickets. We began to argue as he told me to find him a weigh station, I told him I paid for a service and it was not my job to find this for him. Additionally, he needed to weigh the truck prior and after. I had to pay this driver $1,200.00 in order for him to unload the truck. It was now well passed midnight, I paid via Zelle just to end this nightmare. This company caused my family and I undo stress.

Days later we realized that my washer and dryer were completely dented and banged up. The washer is leaking too.

I called the moving company to complain the following day, and no answer. I got through them 3 days later. I paid $2,800.00 to allegiance and then $1,200.00 to the driver. Ridiculous for the service that I received.

It’s so hard to get a hold of someone at this company that I lost hope. I am active duty military and I had no time off, I’ve been working long hours and just the thought about reliving the nightmare move gives me anxiety.

Avoid this company at all cost. Brandon (owner of the company) never returned the call even after leaving several voicemails and emails to his customer service people. Hi Employee Kevin and people from customer service also never followed up during the move even if I left several voice message and text messages even on Kevin's cell phone.

I was quoted a price of $1333.52 and I ended up in paying $2237.22.

Several of my items were delivered as broken and a lot of mishandling

They never return the call or take the ownership of the move. As a customer I was cheated and never got a feeling of safety and free mind.

There was a struggle for full one month during this move

We hired allegiance to move my sister out of state. We really needed her out of the house as we just got approved for adoption and got placed with a baby very quickly. We needed the room to be ready for the inspection. We ended up having to move my sisters things into the garage to get the room ready and the guys came in and had everything loaded and had her on her way within 24 hours. When you hire somebody and get the service you are expecting and paying for in today's day and age that deserves a good review.

I hired Allegiance to move my father into a senior living center. From the first call they were great! They asked me everything they needed to know in great detail and got everything down to a t for my dad. On the day of the move they showed up on time and were very considerate of the difficulties associated with moving into a senior center especially with covid protocols. The movers were really respectful and the price was one of the lowest i got out of all the estimates i was given. I would absolutely recommend Allegiance especially for senior moves.

I contacted Allegiance Moving and Storage in March 2021 when I accepted a job in Miami. I needed to move a three bedroom house from PA to Miami later that year in June. I received three quotes from different companies; however, AMS claimed to cater to military moves and veterans. They gave me a veterans discount. My estimated move cost as just under $10,000. I thought I was all set. As the date grew closer, I had a difficult time contacting the company and the sales rep (John Capella) would not return my emails or calls. About a week before the move I called to set up storage and they told me they couldn't guarantee my move would happen on the day I needed. When I mentioned cancelling the move they assured me that the move would happen and reminded me that I would lose 50% of my deposit. On move day, no one showed up and no one called, so I called them. They confirmed a mover for the next day. When the movers arrived, within five minutes, they said they needed to revise the estimate. Since we sold a lot of our furniture between the day we originally scheduled the move and move day, I actually expected the estimate to go down; however, it went up an additional $7,000. They then said that they would need $8,800 right then, when I was originally told to have a money order ready for $3,071. I called AMS and explained what was happening and they said, your contract says there could be a change. I said, ok, but $7,000??? They said I messed up my inventory; however, as I stated before, my inventory went down. They also said I was paying for a full-pack (meaning the movers were to pack everything and move it), the movers said, I only paid for boxes, but they could help me pack for an additional $3,000. I asked AMS for a refund of my deposit because nothing is as they said it would be, and they said, sorry, you are past your refund date. I refused service from the movers because 1) $17,000 is a lot different than the $10,000 I was quoted and 2) they stated that they would not know the exact amount until everything was on the truck and it could go up even more. I'm now out $3,600 (my deposit) and had to rent two uhauls, pack the house myself, and then load it all up and drive it to Miami (all within 24 hours). AMS gains business by lowballing the estimate, offering discounts, and then having the moving company raise the price at the last minute, but well after the cancellation period.

100% scam artists. All they care about is getting the contract and ensuring the client doesn't cancel so they can keep the deposit. I feel even worse for the people who don't have the means to move themselves at the last minute, like I did, and get stuck paying the higher price because they no other way.

Run away, my friends, run away....

I originally got quotes from multiple movers and ultimately went with Allegiance due to the price they quoted me which included everything in my house. 24 hours prior to the move they called and jacked up the price by $1600 and when confronted with the quote they gave me they claimed I had failed to disclose items that were clearly listed on the quote. So they instead told me that if I did not accept the new quote they would cancel the move and keep my deposit. In addition they promised delivery with 2-4 business days which the actual movers they hired told me was literally impossible without breaking DOT regulations. This business is the epitome of overpromising to make a sale and then let the movers they hire take the blame when they can't deliver.

I am not one to write poor reviews on google as I like to give a company the time to apologize and right a mistake. However, we have been without our belongings since July 3rd, thanks to allegiance. So it has been over 50 something days without our belongings and over 30 business days. I am writing this to one be transparent with anyone who may consider using Allegiance to move (they are very good at promising and getting you to sign). So before I chronicle what has happened so far, I want Allegiance to know that we just want our stuff, an apology, and a good faith refund of some of the deposit (As that deposit was made for them to coordinate all our move so we didn’t have to worry). If they are able to complete what was contracted, I will be glad to update this review. If this drags out longer we will have no choice but to contact the FMCSA and our own contract lawyer to mediate as they claim to be a FMCSA reputable broker, and use FMCSA reputable movers. So below is our story, and if anyone would like more information, I have copies of the contracts and voice recordings of all phone calls made.

We contacted Allegiance to help with our move from Kansas to Georgia. My stuff was picked up on July 3 with a first scheduled delivery date of July 8th.

July 8-11-Told that it's in storage and they are scheduling the move (We called once that week-No no problem with this as it was stated to us.

July 12-18-Told it was still in storage trying to schedule the movers. (We called 2X that week

July 19-26- Told it was still in storage trying to schedule the movers. We asked what happened to the 5-14 days were told for the first time that they deal in business days and we could not recoup money until 30 business days. (Called Customer service every other day)

July 26-August 1-we were told that it was loaded over the weekend (24-25) and it would be delivered in 5-7 days. (We called every other day again). We were told that our stuff was in GA. Contacted the BBB.

August 2-August 8- Called every day asking where our stuff was. Finally got a response that its still in KS and will be another 3-10 business days.

August 9- August 15- Called every day asking where our stuff was. Finally, received a BBB response from the company on August 11 stating, “Thank you, Adam, I was able to locate your file now. We contacted your carrier regarding the delivery- he stated your items are due to arrive in 5-7 business days.”

August 16-August 22- Called everyday and were met with we are still in the 5-7 days. On Wednesday the 17th (day 4 of 7 business days), we were contacted by their movers that the delivery was en route and they would call in 1-2 business days with a delivery date. We were excited that it may finally be over. Additionally, we received this message on the BBB, “ You spoke with our customer service on 8/17/2021. She made you aware that your items are loaded and en route to you. Your driver will call you direct 24 hours prior to arriving. Thank you!.b

August 23rd-August 29th- This is day 3 that the movers said they would call but they did not. On the 23rd we called allegiance and they stated the movers said it would be an additional 5-7 days. This is day 8 of the original 5 to 7 business days. We asked for the mover's number and called their customer service number. We called and we were met with an incredibly rude customer service agent who stated the stuff was still in the storage unit in Kansas City. We called today on Day 9 of the original 5 to 7 days and Day 2 of the second 5 to 7 days.

I repeat this review is meant to be transparent to any and all that want to use the Allegiance Service. I would love to update this that our stuff is back in one piece and attribute this terrible two months to a labor shortage. So please, Allegiance, get your FMCSA “reputable” movers to move my stuff and end this.

Edit 1: Spoke to Customer service today (Aug 26) stated that the truck would not be loaded until next week Allegiance needs to do their job, take responsibility and get it delivered.
