Dishonest

At 4:00 pm on 18 August 2020, we contracted with All Pro Moving Group, Fort Lauderdale, FL, to move our household items from Maine to Florida. We gave them a deposit of $1,066. We understood their policy: If we cancel within 72 hours, we lose 15% of the deposit. If we cancel after 72 hours, we lose the entire deposit.

We then realized that All Pro Moving Group was not a mover but a broker (their advertising is very misleading). This means they do not physically transport your items, but subcontract to actual movers. Not only does this increase the expense, but the customer loses control of the process and is subject to fraud. (This is likely why they have so many complaints).

At 9:48 AM on 19 August 2020, we sent an email to All Pro Moving Group canceling our contract. This was approximately 18 hours after signing so we should only have been penalized 15%. At 10:14 AM, 21 August we received an email from All Pro Moving Group acknowledging our email and stating they were “sorry to see us go.” This was 66 hours after signing, still within the 72-hour limit.

They did not refund 85% of our deposit. Instead, they offered $246.00, approximately 23% of our deposit—far short of what was stipulated in the contract.

We contacted our credit card company in October 2020 and filed a dispute that included all correspondence between us and All Pro Moving Group. Mastercard agreed that we deserved 85% of the deposit. On 4 March 2021, Mastercard transferred $960 from All Pro Moving Group to our account.

We are sorry for any miscommunication that transpired during the time you invested with us. As stated on our contract and the DOT FMCSA Federal website we are a Carrier/Broker and have the ability to use network carrier's if needed. We use these carriers for obscure routes that we cannot fulfill, unforeseen circumstances, delays, weather, etc. Most carrier use the exact same practices, even the big household name carrier that have been around over 50 years.
We do apologize for the cancellation issues. It appears the sales rep was emailed originally and not the proper email address, that being said the proper party did not receive the notice. We do apologize for any issues there. Appears this move took place some time ago (sept of last year) We are curious as to why we are not addressing the issue now.
Nonetheless, we do apologize for any mishaps on All Pro's end, we do hope you and your family are doing well and everyone's healthy.

Nightmare and a Migraine

Michael Vaughn is the only good thing this company has going for them. He is kind, he is caring, and he is professional. The customer service and client experience however is the opposite. Not one update provided over the course of 3 weeks... The original timeframe quoted was between 3-21 days. It’s day 22 and I still have not received my belongings or a call to confirm the time and day they will be arriving. On Wednesday, I had to call 5 people to even figure out what state my belongings were in. The first 4 people, including the person who picked up my items, could only tell me “I don’t know”. I called Michael Vaughn and he said he will reach out and I’ll get an update. I got a call back in 30 minutes because of him and I was told that my belongings were in the next state over in a truck delivering in Chicago and that I’d have my things in 2-3 days at the latest. That would have been yesterday which was Saturday (which also was the last day of the quoted timeframe). Never received a call for a drop off window, called customer service, never received a call back with an update. Highly do not recommend this company, especially not for cross -country moves. And I still don’t have my belongings or know when I will. ?

We do apologize for any delays in the transit time for this move. This is never our intention for families as we do all we can to coordinate the trip in a timely fashion.
In order to get a speedy delivery, customers need to list next day on the paper work at pick up in order for the delivery spread to start asap. If they list a week out, this would be when the delivery spread would start and allow the movers 21 business days legally from that listed date. Allpro stole boxes, furnitures, kitchen sm appliances, all our clothes

I called Allpro(FL) for full service delivery. Allpro hired Non-Stop Moving Inc. to pickup boxes in my home Aurora IL. I had 300+ boxes & few furnitures. They rushed to blanket my dining and dinette finished in 2 hours and left. The delivery truck driver is under another company. He said that they loaded my stuff and drove the next day. The truck was for 5 addresses. Allpro was not taking my calls. I was given 90days to file in their email response. . Filed complaints twice, no response. Then they emailed me to log each one receipts, inventory dates, cost, size, weight etc of each item for proof of evidence. They were taken off BBB website. Non-Stop Moving has no website. Paid $9009.00

THE WORST

Stay away from these liars. They lie about everything. What the cost will be. When your stuff will be picked up. Who is picking up and moving you. The insurance they provide for free! LIE!!!! When your stuff will be delivered. They broker your stuff to brokers who broker it to someone else. In the meantime, it is picked up in multiple vehicles at multiple times, delivered to a warehouse in a different state, where it sits till you realize something is wrong and it is not on the way! When it is delivered, your furniture will have broken feet. Your fragile boxes will be abused. You will have multiple missing boxes. And then you will get absolutely nothing. Because they lied.

Listen to the bad reviews. You will have the same experience guaranteed.

Racists

I set up my move with All Pro Movers for my move to with my wife to lansing michigan. I talked with Jamie Wayne Hedlund (I think his name was) in the beginning when we were setting everything up. He walked me through everything and compared to a few other companies we were looking at, all pro seemed at first like to be more professional and affordable and they could also move my car for me. Mr. Hedlund told me the driver would call me a day before the pick up was supposed to happen. He also told me they could transport my dog which no other company said they could do and would save us some worry while driving all the way to michigan. All good, right? Another important detail is my car being transported is a 2019 BMW X5.

This is when things started to fall apart. Me and my wife are of Asian descent and my wife's english is not as good as mine and sometimes has trouble understanding and speaking. On our move day, the driver arrives with 2 other people to help. The first thing I notice when they got there is that the driver was drunk. Once they started moving our couches, my wife tried explaining to the helpers that one of the couches comes apart, but the helpers could not understand her. Eventually I came back into the living room and explained what she was trying to. They got the couch apart and kept loading. After a little confusion, I heard the driver say to one of the helpers to "Not worry about the old lady" and "because she is a" and then a name I can not even say. I could not believe what I just heard so I call Mr. Hedlund back to ask if the movers are very rude or is it because we are not from this country that they made those comments. Mr. Hedlund was very nice to us before he had our moneys but now we are enemies. I was very nice when we set up our move day but now he tells me that we should speak to customer service about it to get a full refund. And again I can not believe what I hear. My wife and me were born here in USA and are just as american. Me and my wife decided to just let the movers load our things. They get my car onto the trailer and finish getting everything from our house. They got to lansing 3 weeks later and moved everythinig in but said that they can not find my car!!! I have not gotten a call back from customer service about this since I told them. I will be calling their corporate headquarters if they can not find my car.

Fabulous Mover!!

The movers were exceedingly helpful and had great personalities. They were 5 minutes early and moved things efficiently. They arrived at my storage unit to help load the truck and then met us over at the apartment that I was moving into. They carried a bedroom set, clothing, and other items up 3 flights of stairs. We were able to complete this within the two-hour timeframe.

Avoid like the plague

June 3rd, 2021, I had booked All Pro Moving Company for a move from the Greater Boston Area into NYC. Originally when discussing it with the customer service rep they had provided me with a price of just over 2600. The broker who I had dealt with spent no time explaining pricing and broke down what it entailed and had made sure to low ball pricing in order to get the deal done. I had paid the deposit which was much higher than the standard (over 33% of quoted price whereas most would charge 5-10%) which to me is a predatory practice. The company was extremely vague with final pick up dates and times which added a lot more of a logistical nightmare. Fast forward to days before the actual move I had called in in order to finalize dates and they gave me the run around with several of what I assume fictional departments with one person after another passing the buck only to finally get ahold of the manager who was extremely rude and came back with an adjusted quote for nearly double the price. Mind you, this was before the 72 hour cancellation window. I had them called an alternative company and got a quote for less than what was originally quoted and went ahead and canceled the order. Not only was a berated for 10-20 minutes by the manager and their returns people who were well aware of their tactics, they had refused to provide a refund even though their cancellation policy has warranted it in addition the use of abhorrent practices. The manager then called me and not only defended their employee as they were under a great deal of stress due to the move which I assume was so he could avoid a complaint like this, he offered no solution and double down on not returning my money which is against the cancellation policy listed on their website. I am personally distraught by the way I was treated with the returns person yelling at me and belittling me after they had manipulated pricing in order to steal away a large deposit. Avoid

We have a 72 hour cancellation policy from the time of booking and this is in the first term of the contract and also gone over verbally when booking. Customer booked for 286 cf. The customer later whet through their Quality Assurance call on 6/29 below are the total items to be moved.

Now after adding items to the inventory the customer went up to almost 400 cf. and did not want to pay for the additional items. At this time they can still move the original contracted amount 286 cf at the original price. Instead he went out and got a quote for 100 cf with another carrier. 100cf??? That is a fraction of the space that is listed above. Of course the cost would be lower to only move 100cf, unfortunately this customer has a lot more than that. He later called in and when he learned that he was outside of his cancellation window he got belligerent with one of the young ladies here in the customer service department.
In our professional opinion he was setting himself up for a huge disaster with this new company. Nevertheless, it is not our place so say what a customer should or shouldn't do as to the decision making of their move. At this time he was well outside of his cancellation window, customer was aware and choose to roll the dice with the new company.

Horrendous Company

As stated in several reviews this company simply cannot be trusted. The foul replies the company posts on reviews refusing to accept any type of responsibility is a perfect example of how this company will promise the world and refuse to deliver. All the while treat their costumers as if they are an inconvenience. I was told I would have movers arrive to load my items June 28th/29th. I confirmed this date with a representative on June 4th, letting them know it was essential the items were picked in that window since my lease ended June 30th. Two days before my move (although they claim to have tried to call me a week before, I have absolutely no record of a call being made and when I asked them to send me the proof they did not.) I’m told my pick up date will now be July 5th or 6th. I state this is not an option for me and am told they will call me later that day with an official decision on if they can uphold their end of the contract or not. I never hear from them again. After countless calls and minutes on hold I finally get through to them on June 28th, the day of my pick up. I request a refund since I am not able to receive the services I pay for and am told that will be no issue. The week that follows is full of stress, disrespect, and downright manipulation from All Pro. Who basically tell me “well kid you should have known better”. I received a measly 20% refund on my deposit and no services were provided. This company cannot be trusted. Point blank.

During the beginning weeks of June we have experienced an unprecedented demand due to the incredibly quick ramp up as we all are getting back to normal living. There has been severe weather reported near some of our major hubs which has caused operational delays. More importantly, the uptick in families moving has caused labor shortages as we are doing our best to keep up with the increase in demand.
Similar industries across the country are struggling to hire employees as the economy attempts to return to a pre pandemic normal.
As some areas have higher demand than others, not all routes will be affected. However, there are only so many trucks and crews with the proper qualifications in circulation at this time.
We did attempt to contact this customer regarding the date change on June 22nd as stated in the notes on her file. We did not hear back from her until the 26th. As our contract states we DO NOT guarantee pickup or delivery windows due to unforeseen circumstances. When things are normal we tend to always meet the 2 day pickup window, however, during these unique times as stated above there are just some things we currently cannot control. Right now we are doing to best we can to pivot and adjust to the extremely high demand of families moving. However, The issues occurring in the economy should not entirely reflect on the mover.
We are sorry the customers back was up against the wall and she was unable to move on the dates we had available.

Stay Away

I echo the poor reviews of other people. I did not do my research otherwise I would never have used them. As I have seen on other reviews this is a “bait and switch” that they pull. First of all-they are not a moving company, they are a broker who connects you with subpar moving companies. I did not realize this upon my initial call.

My initial experience was good until we got closer to moving day and after when it got really scammy and sketchy.

I got an initial quote which was reasonable but a few days later I realized there was quite a bit more than I had initially said. So I called back and was told someone would call me a few days before the move to go over the final inventory. The call came, we went over the inventory and the price doubled. I was shocked but when I thought about what I had added I was like ok that’s fine.

Moving day came-the movers came an hour later than the 4 hour window we were given. Everything was loaded and they went over the paperwork and the price doubled again, even though we sent slightly less than initially quoted because we were moving some things ourselves.

Fast forward to delivery. We chose to have our items stored for a month because we hadn’t closed on our house yet. It took three weeks and close to 20 calls to finally schedule our items for delivery. I was worried we weren’t going to get it back at all.

My husband also made a comment that the delivery truck was much better packed than the pick up truck. (I’m guessing that was on purpose since they bill based on space).

Anyways, stay away if you can, this company takes you for all you’re worth and connects you with unprofessional moving companies.
