Be smart about your move.

Carefull - Carefull- Carefull Ya all!! Check out all moving companies first. They may be listed under other names. Just be aware and cautious. Pay attention to negative reviews on all sights! Are they a broker? Do they have their own trucks? Look up the DOT number. Beware of brokers, you don't know who they will higher to deliver (or not deliver) your household goods.

Humm..notice that all the good reviews were written on the same day..hmmmmm?

A DISGRACEFUL Experience!

This is NOT a moving company. They are brokers. They do not do the work. They contract it out. Our movers, unfortunately, were Safeguard Van Lines. On pick up, they added a $100 'filing fee' to our contract. When I called Mike Price at All Pro to complain, he said he did not know what the fee was for. Delivery was a disaster. We live on country roads. The previous owner of our property used 18 wheeler trucks for his business. These 18 wheelers traveled our road and parked on our property daily. In addition, we used an 18 wheeler for our first move without incident. This time, the Safeguard Van Line driver refused to deliver our goods, claiming he could not navigate the road. His hired helpers (not movers), who told us they were hired by the driver from Craig's List, warned us that the driver was a very difficult man who made the previous client that morning, an old woman, cry. The driver was a poor excuse for a professional. He was either too lazy or incompetent. I called All Pro to complain, and THEY STOOD BY THE DRIVER! We had to pay to rent a smaller truck, transfer our goods, and then have them delivered. Afterward, when I called again to complain that the move cost us $450 more than what we contracted the job for, Mike Price said he would look into it and try to refund us some money. That was a week ago. We never heard from them. This is a DISGRACEFUL way to do business!

Not recommended.

This is NOT a moving company. They called me 2 days before my pick up date with a story about how a truck caught fire and now I had to pay an additional $1020.00. They offered to split this unusual fee with me. I asked for photos of this case of the truck on fire. I couldn't find any evidence of an accident on the internet. They wouldn't tell me where it occurred or what company it was. Lets face it - what can you do. You scheduled this move and you have to be out a certain date. They have you cornered. They spoke in a pushy way, a guy named George set this up for me. Another guy called to get the more money. And a manager named Andrew spoke to me as well. Still, the day before the move I had not heard back from a moving company as to a pick up time.

I would not recommend them. I feel they are fraudulent and I started a dispute against them on my credit card for my downpayment to them. BE CAREFUL.

Scammers.

This company was named Silver Star Moving Group just 5 months ago. They scammed me out of 3050.00 and all my belongings. It has been almost 5 months and I still do not have my belongings. They hired a carrier that is as crooked as they are. They tried to charge me 5000.00 over the estimate..the binding estimate. Niw they refuse to get my belongings back for me and will not refund my money. They keep changing their name and doing this to others. I am trying to find others they have done this to so we can all file a lawsuit against them in all their names. They need to be out out of business.

Long-distance move from Albrightsville, PA to Marshfield, MO

Fraudulent mafioso organization from top to bottom.

All Pro Moving Group, a broker from Florida, has defrauded me and has not returned my belongings. The entire process was intentionally fraudulent. First, the salesman gave ma a quote with no visit. It was all done by phone, based on the salesperson's questions. The salesperson quoted me just over $5,000 and we paid a deposit. A day or two later, one of their managers called me to set up the move, and berated me because supposedly the inventory was way less than reality. He insulted me for not getting the inventory right, as if I had done it. He told me he'd been doing this for many years and was an expert. Then, he went through inventory questions with me again, and came up with a new quote which was nearly $10,000. He finished the call by saying he was now confident that the inventory was correct.

The day of the move, a subcontracted company showed up to pack and load. The foreman started giving me hints that the price would go up even further, but nothing concrete. Once the house was almost completely packed up, and half the load already taken away, the foreman then told me he spoke with his boss and the final cost was over $20,000! At this point I had no money and no options, and I had to be out of the house. The foreman also told me I should pay them a $1,000 tip!

Now, a week later, my goods have not arrived and I have not gotten a call to schedule delivery. Their general manager told me they needed at least 50% payment on order to schedule delivery. My company has already paid over $13,000 and still nothing. The new trick is that they never answer their phones, even during business hours. I call the customer service number and wait on hold for hours. I call the general manager directly and it always goes to voicemail.

Another trick they do is every time they call you, they scold you and claim they have been calling you all day and that you don't answer. Every step of the way, they defraud you and then insult you in a psychological game in order to quadruple prices on you, stealing from you, but guilt you into paying by making it seem like you messed up, rather than act like professionals who are supposed to know their own business.

Bottom line - they bait you with a low quote, only to later quadruple your price and hold your own belongings hostage in order to make you pay the inflated prices.

My name is Shari Allen. The company reached out to me because of a bad review posted in my name. I did in fact move with them over a year ago. My items were in storage for a month before being delivered. $7200 would have been nicer. However, we agreed to the price of $12k + and everything was fine. For the record I did not give anyone permission to use my name.

Buyer Beware! This Broker No showed 2 days in a row. They quoted me $2100, then $3400 for the same amount of items. Only 1 guy showed up to move my things and he screamed for help on the stairs until my neighbors came out. I was forced to move my own things for almost 5 hours. I Paid to move my Own things! 25% of my boxes, vaccuum, vanity are missing another 10% is broken and damaged, the mover left my couch out in the rain. Please do Not hire from brokers "ALL PRO MOVING CO. or Silver Star Moving CO. There the same and the worst nightmare you can have.

Movers were very professional.

Brandon and Christina managed my account at All Pro. They were extremely personable although I probably came across as rude considering the duress I was under. They corresponded with me throughout the entire process, from A to Z. The movers scuffed one of my curio cabinets coming up the stairs somehow, but at the end of the day, I just enjoyed my relocation with a glass of wine and insurance on their end covered the rest. They were extremely apologetic on all ends so I can’t really say anything negative.

Highly recommended.

I normally don’t give positive reviews on companies, but All Pro Movers transported my entire life when I divorced my husband. They packed everything so meticulously- truly professional. I was moving cross country, however, so some pieces of china were destroyed during the move. Although I was hesitant to make a big deal over it, I did call in and report the damage. Not only was I given the utmost respect with their customer service team, they covered the damage 100%. Highly recommended!

Long-distance move from Marana, AZ to Early, TX

Cross country move.

My experience with All Pro Moving was undoubtedly the worse and most stressful, and expensive experience I have had. They are brokers which is no better than pimps. I started with Alex, who gave me a low estimate from just looking at photos of our house on the realtor site and asking some questions. Of course when it moved on to Bill to go over our inventory, the price doubled to them. Our move was to be on October 25, finishing the loading on the 26th so we could close and be out on the 28th. They pimped the job out to Cobra Van Lines who showed up at 4:00pm on the 25th. They were to return in the morning to load everything. They did not show up. Calls to Lisa in customer service, did nothing except promise me that they would compensate me for the inconvenience several times. The movers showed up on Sunday at 2:00 and packed until dark. Their boss was mad because they went back to Phoenix with half a truck. I guess their boss thought they should work all night and inconvenience us. I had made plans for the empty house to be cleaned on that Sunday for the closing and walk through. The next day was our closing and the movers didn’t show up again, until after 2:00. They were still moving our stuff out as the new owners were moving in! There was several items that should have gone on the van, but was unable because it was full. Had they showed up when they were suppose to, that wouldn’t have been an issue. Nor would they have been loading in the dark.
The movers had no respect for my furniture that consisted of many family antiques. They even said they were used to furniture like IKEA sells. Several pieces were damaged. The only thing good was the furniture was delivered the day we closed on our new home in Texas.
Cost to All Pro $6369
Cost to Cobra $11,000

I could go on about them transporting our hot tub and the miscommunication that went with that. That was another $1200.

I’m still waiting waiting for my “compensation”. Not holding my breath. Will NEVER use another broker or moving company again.

All Pro Movers made my cross country move not only virtually painless, but also saved me $THOUSANDS$ of dollars! My job forced me to relocate to New York after 5 years+ in Seattle. Christina at All Pro assured me that I would be safely and comfortably moved across the country for only $7K. Long-distance move from Nashville, TN to Olympia, WA

Terrible.

If you want to work with a moving broker that will constantly miscommunicate with the carrier, squeeze every dime out of you that they can, and still not ultimately deliver the services you paid for without demanding over $600 additional dollars, look no further. Nearly every day since I began working with this company I have regretted the decision not to just get a uhaul or budget truck and move it all myself (which, in the end, I still ended up doing). This was my first time hiring professional movers rather than moving myself and I justified it thinking that for a little extra money it was worth the peace of mind (which I never had) and eliminate the stress of having to haul my own items across country. Even though the internet was rife with stories of people getting screwed over by professional movers, I unfortunately hoped I had picked one that I could trust to make the process smooth and easy. I couldn't have been more wrong. So where to even begin? First, when I initially talked to someone and made the decision to use movers instead of a uhaul, the woman I spoke with quoted me something like 1700 or 1800 dollars. We didn't do a detailed inventory at that time, but I explained to her that I lived in a 700 square foot house and was planning to just use the full size uhaul if I had moved myself, so I would need roughly that amount of space. She assured me that the amount she quoted should be enough. However, when someone called to do the detailed inventory over the phone (which was a nightmarish process in itself) based on a description of all my items and the number of boxes, that price nearly doubled. He ultimately estimated my items to be about 604 square feet (which I find nearly impossible since my entire house was only 700 square feet, but whatever). The new quote was over $3000, which I could not afford on my moving budget. Hearing my distress, he did help me out by applying a discount at that time, which helped reduce the cost some, even though not back anywhere near the price I was initially quoted, Still, it was I really appreciated. However, when the movers arrived to take my items, they suddenly had no record of the discount that had been applied to my order, and were insisting I still owed that balance. They told me that the contract I had in front of me where the discount was clearly stated wasn't a contract, just a binding inventory. It took nearly a week of back and forth with them and the broker (all while I was trying to drive across the country) to arrive back at the original discounted price I had been quoted. Additionally, the moving company called on the Friday before my scheduled move and said they were planning to come on Sunday. Then, at 10 am on Saturday morning, the driver called and said he was 30 minutes to an hour from my house, completely turning our lives upside down as we had to suddenly prepare for his arrival even though we had been told only one day prior that the move would occur on Sunday. I asked the broker what they would do to make this right and they never did anything at all except to say they understood my frustration. Still, once we got past this challenging pick-up day, I hoped that this would be the final snafu. Of course friends, it wasn't. When the movers arrived to deliver my items, they claimed that the moving truck could not get into my apartment complex's parking lot (which they absolutely could have and which I have seen other 18 wheelers do), and that they would have to go into "shuttle mode", meaning they would go rent a uhaul and charge me a dollar per square foot on top of what I already owed (so over $600)to deliver my items as promised. It costs $32 to do an in town uhaul rental, so that's a PRETTY substantial service fee. So, out of options, we decided that rather than shell out ANOTHER $600 to this incredibly frustrating company, we would simply pay the $32 to rent our own uhaul, and just have the movers deliver our items into it. We then asked the movers if they would still help us unload that uhaul into our house, of course, they said no. So, my boyfriend and I unloaded the entire Uhaul by ourselves and reconstructed all our furniture after paying the moving company to do just that. I called the brokers furious to see what they would do to remedy the situation, and of course, the answer was to tell me that this was the policy and they would do nothing. Take home message here is--save the money and just get a uhaul to move it yourself, because unless you are made of money and can keep shelling out additional fees they charge you up until the very last minute, that's what you'll end up doing anyway.

Never using this company again.

Do not hire this company! They are just a broker and do not partner with good trucking companies. After getting your money, they do not communicate with the carrier, the carrier was scamming me into excess fees which I told to All Pro and they did not do anything about it. I had to discuss with the carrier myself multiple times. All Pro also had no idea when the carrier was going to deliver. When I was trying to get a better idea, All Pro did not assist what so ever no matter how many texts and calls I made. Carriers they partner with also take 2 weeks from your available delivery date to even think about your delivery. You are better off hiring a company that owns their own trucks instead of wasting your time and money here.
