Do not Take the Chance!

If I could give minus 1000 stars, that would have been my choice. Do not hire these people. If you do, you do so at your own peril. They are scammers. Please read below.

I was EXTREMELY dissatisfied. Extremely barely covers my rage.

First off, the lead guy was so short with me on many occasions, like I was annoying him just with my presence. At one point, the African American gentleman accompanying him said something to the effect of, “are you hangry, have a snicker.”

They deliberately took forever with everything, just so they made their pound of flesh. How in heavens can a two bedroom apartment take 7.5 hours to move from an apartment to storage. It’s outrageous, and dishonest! They also, as part of their document signing, specifically requested tips, when I asked, over the phone while setting this up, not to be asked for tips. It’s unprofessional to request tips. Tips are a courtesy, not a requirement. I’m sure, it’s probably how my facial expression looked that they did what they did, took too much time.

Then they claim they used all these packing supplies. LIES!!!! All lies. They did not use 6 mirror boxes. I didn’t even ship mirrors. I had two painting. And I had bubble sleeves for both. I had 4 mattress bags myself. All the bins were packed and ready to go. They used shrink wrap and paper. HARDLY $600 worth. I ended up paid $2159, when I was quoted $679. That’s why that lady was so nudging me to sign on.

When I got back to the apartment, there was moving supply trash everywhere. Unused tape and rolls of shrink wrap. To say I was furious is an understatement.

Eight hours later, something that could have, should have, taken about 4hrs, I missed my flight. I was stranded at the airport because my apartment was no longer mine to use. I slept at the airport with 3 suitcases and a small dog, hungry and so very tired. This is ironic, considering what the other mover told him, urging him to chill.

This was about the most dishonest business dealing I’ve had in my existence, and that’s saying something.

Movers are scam artists. Once they have you on the hook, they bleed you dry. I thought these guys were professionals.

Never Hire This Company!!!

It was one of the worst experiences I've had. I moved from 950 sq ft to 1000 sq feet. I moved computers and monitors, all decorative plants, all hanging clothes, dog beds and dog related, lamps, bathroom item, clocks, pictures & all cleaning products (and my guns of course) plus a few other misc items myself. I asked when they arrived how long it would take (in and out of the first apt) and was told about 2 hours. TEN hours later we are leaving that loacation. They don't unload anything, at the new apartment, WITHOUT PAYMENT FIRST. They brought up maybe 3 items they were too tired to do anything else and called their supervisor to stop and come back the next day. I had to make them stay to at least get my bed unloaded. I then had to run over to Walmart to get PJ's and undergarments for the next day, Walmart closes at 11pm and I was told I had 10 min. at the door of WalMart. Their bill had that they quit @ 11:45pm that night. They left before I left and got my keys and car to go over the the store that closes at 11:00pm. So, IN ADDITION to the horrible work performance & lying & the damaged they did.......they were charging for OT (they also charged for supplies that I had sitting on the counter that I had purchased), at my old apartment and pointed out when they arrived.

I stopped (partial) payment on the credit card & I got an attorney. I would never use them again and I just had someone (who knew my story first hand) reccomend them (forgetting who I had used) and now will definitely not use them and is telling everyone he knows.

Professional movers.

I recently moved from a 2 bedroom apt. I'm a woman, so I have plenty that needs to be moved. The guys were very professional and got the job done with no problems. I have used all my sons in the past, so I was well aware of the type of service that would be provided!

Highly recommended!

It's my first time to hire a moving company and I couldn't be more pleased with All My Sons. Their rates were reasonable, they reply to questions quickly, and the movers arrived earlier than planned -- which I greatly appreciated! Everything went smoothly and I'm very thankful for their service!

Horrible experience!!

Horrible experience!! When I made arrangements with Chad (salesman) I was somewhat impressed until the guys drove up one of them did not seemed to have any moving experience. The lead mover had to constantly tell what to do and what not to do. I was not going to file this complaint until the move got worse and worse. I admit that some of my item were not in excellent condition but good condition. I told the guys that the only way I would complaint is that serious damage occurs. They.forgot to put the washer and dryer on truck when I had told them to get all big heavy items first. They just put items on truck in no organized.way like professional movers would do and could've any other items on truck. When we get to the storage unit, they ask me if chad had told me about paying before they remove any items from the truck. I called the office and spoke to chad and another person. They apparently instructed the moving guys to lock my items on truck until I went to get the money to pay them. I had to leave the guys with my furniture Togo and get money to pay them before they would unload my furniture and put it in storage. What a horrible experienceWhen they were taking a dresser off truck they dropped it and one of the guys yelled out bad language which was very unprofessional. We got back to the house and I thinking that they were going told the. rest of the big items that I had instructed them to make sure they got in the beginning they told me that I should have another company get the rest of the items because they would be cheaper. I talked to Frank the owner or head person. He told.me to send him photos and he would get back.to me in 2days. alT least 5-6 days went by and frank did not call. I called him and he was very rude about the situation. I would hope.that the owner of this moving company would..at.least think about the reputation and it least offer some.sense of humble apology or something for the inconvenience that was caused to me.

Bad bad company to move someone.

This is the first time I used a moving company and will never use them again. They lied and didn't bring enough people they said would move me. Then when I kept calling and the movers even called their boss they kept telling them they can do it and would never send help unless I paid more. So I ended up helping the movers I hired.

Want extra charges you were not told about, use this company!

I called All My Sons Moving to get a quote for a 3rd floor to 3rd floor move. I was moving from Centennial to Aurora. The rep I spoke to was very nice and seemed competent. My move was scheduled for 8/16 at 1 PM with two stops. The rep stated this would not be an issue and took down the address of the first stop as well as my new address. The Denver office was supposed to be the office handling my move, but they had an issue with the truck to be used for my move that day. I received a call from a Manager at the Colorado Springs office stating they would be handling my move and the movers would be there about 3 PM. The Manager seemed nice and seemed competent. The movers (Jessie and Jacob) arrived around 245 PM to my old address. Jessie and Jacob were professionally dressed, friendly and worked at a fast, steady pace. They did not do any damage to my items, my old residence or my new residence. This is paramount, as I have some heavy, bulky items and they moved them with relative ease. This is where the problem begins. After Jessie and Jacob were done moving my items to my new residence, Jessie called the Colorado Springs office so I could remit payment. Joel is the person who I spoke with. He advised me how much time I was being charged for, that there is a 12% fuel surcharge and a one hour charge for travel time. Joel conveniently offered to only charge me an 8% fuel surcharge. That was before I even told him I was not told about the fuel surcharge and the one our travel time.I was not advised by anyone at any point that there would be a fuel surchage or that I would be charged one hour for travel time. This caused my move to cost approximately $170 dollars more than I expected. The total cost came to $572 and change. When I mentioned to Joel I was not advised of those charges, he did not even acknowledge my statement and just asked me how I would be paying. I provided a credit card and settled my charges. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The filing of that complaint resulted in a call from Ashley Hudnall. Ashley works at the corporate office of All My Sons Moving. She advised that PUIC regulated companies are required to charge travel time and fuel surcharges. The day after I was contacted by a rep of the BBB, I called the Colorado Springs office to give them one more good faith effort to resolve this issue. I was asking for them to split the fuel surcharge and to refund me the entire one hour travel time. Joel right away became defensive and refused, stating these charges are required by the PUC. I then told him I was going to post my experience to social media and he then became beligerent and stated "threats will get you no where". At this point, I just hung up. Per the PUC website at http://cdn.colorado.gov/cs/Satellite?blobcol=urldata&blobheadername1=Content- Disposition&blobheadername2=ContentType&blobheadervalue1=inline; filename="Fiscal Year 2013-14.pdf "&blobheadervalue2=application/pdf&blobkey=id&blobtable=MungoBlobs&blobwhere=1252014441266&ssbinary=true, a customer of All My Sons Moving contacted the PUC in 2014 and it was determined that All My Sons Moving was not in compliance. All my Sons Nightmare experience.

This was the worse experience I ever had in a move. They estimated incorrectly the amount of possessions I had and were not prepared. They did not deliver when promised. They significantly damaged 5 pieces of brand new furniture then offered me $81 in repairs. Do yourself a favor and pick a better company.
