All My Sons Moving and Storage

If I could give them a ZERO, I would. They are by far the WORST MOVING COMPANY ive ever used. The estimator, Peter Bonito was dishonest and made false claims about their service and movers. This company did everything wrong including putting a hole in the foyer, damaging many, many pieces of my expensive designer furniture to not using mattress covers or furniture covers. In addition, I was sexually harassed by one of the drivers. I am considering suing them for both verbal sexual harassment, negligence and emotional distress.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1700

I contacted this company 3 weeks before my move, their only interest is to get the deposit of a 100$. They did not hold their promise of moving time despite giving them early notice. They said that they will send someone a week before the move to have an estimate. They never called or sent someone before the move. I finally called them two days before the move. The person I talked with on the phone was very disorganised, hang the phone by mistake on me twice. His voice was very confused, and finally told me that there is no message was forwarded to him about the move instruction. I asked to be forwarded to the main office, the person who talked to me was very rood.
I talked with the owner who was not helpful.

Dealing with this company was a non-pleasant experience. I am very sorry to call this company. I hope they will return the deposit.

I had breast cancer as a young women. Having All my sons move me was only slightly less horrible. They worked slowly and were non communicative. I tried to get them to move faster and that made them move slower. They would not load the contents of my storage locker as they said rats were present. There were no rats. When we finally got to the destination they said I had to pay the much higher than estimated bill or they would drive off with all my belongings. When I unpacked there was so much missing and broken that I stopped counting at $10,000. They are the worst choice possible for any move.

An employee from All My Sons Moving and Storage stole a $3,500 high definition plasma TV, the storage facility has video showing footage showing the employee from All My Sons Moving and Storage taking the TV from the moving truck to a car. The TV was never placed in my storage facility. For the past six months, I've contacted Deborah Andersen and Doug Hillman at All My Sons Moving and Storage numerous times with no resolution. Since April 2018, they have stalled, made numerous excuses and yet to reimburse me for the TV that was stolen by All My Sons Moving employee.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1100

We moved across town approximately a month and a half ago. On the day they arrived, many of our items were packed well and put in the truck carefully. We get to our piano, and it all went south from there. They wrapped it haphazardly, even after me mentioning something. Then, as they took it down our apartment complex stairs, they dragged the side of it and both gouged the piano and broke one of the stairs. Our movers response was "just kick the stair back in it will be fine." After completing our move, I began the claim process with All My Sons. I submitted photos and a claim form and it has now been 26 days with zero contact or momentum in the claim after repeated email attempts. And every time I email, I am told that person no longer works for them and given another address. Seems a very sketchy place.

I paid my deposit but they never showed up for the move. They were apparently overbooked, but instead of calling me to let me know or to reschedule, I had to call them to ask where is the moving truck? The soonest they could reschedule my move was in 3 more days! I cancelled and they credited my deposit. I wound up going with Movers Academy who were able to schedule the move in 2 days. Movers Academy did a great job and I highly recommend them. I would not take a chance on All My Sons again.

If I could give no stars I would. We scheduled a move for this afternoon a month ago and paid our deposit. The crew shows up to our building (to move our 1200sq ft apt on the 2nd floor) and decides its "too far of a walk" and leaves. We didn't even know they left! A customer service agent called and told us! We asked for another crew then and he said he would call us back. He didn't. When we called back he danced around the issue until we asked for a manager. The manager told us it was "tough" and said he would issue a refund for our deposit.
They totally left us in a lurch. We need to be out of our apartment tonight! We didn't rent a uhaul or ask friend for moving help because we paid for who were thought were professionals!! Now we are left scrambling, waiting on a refund, and stuck begging friends to come help!
Who does that to someone? Way to make a stressful day even worse All My Sons!

I’ve used this company twice trying to give them a second chance but it won’t happen again.
The first time I had them out just to unload a UHAUL and the guys were great. They unloaded quickly and were careful, etc. However, the guy on the phone confirmed with me the minimum labor cost was one hour. It took 20 minutes to unload my truck and that was fine except that when it came time to pay my bill I was told SURPRISE it was a two hour minimum so it cost me about $300 to get a handful of items unloaded off of a truck.

Needed movers again about two months later. This time I literally had furniture left to move and so elected to just use their truck and have them load and unload it this time. Previous to choosing to go with them I called twice and confirmed rates and dates with both Steven and Jeremy who agreed travel time was to be set at 5 hours with a 2 hour minimum on labor as well as a ten percent discount for being a repeat customer. I was told I would get a confirmation phone call both the day before and thirty minutes out from arrival. I got neither and had to call them to confirm.

Driver got here and has my travel time set to six hours, no notes of my repeat customer discount and NEWS!! there’s now a ten percent fuel charge. Talked to Mark, the owner, who refused to acknowledge that his employees are not going over all of the information with customers and would not remove the fuel charge or give me the ten percent discount. I would’ve gladly told them to walk if I’d not already put down a sizable deposit.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Go with a different company and when you do ask all the questions and ask the person you talk to if they’re taking notes.

Got charged for "materials" that were not used during the move.When I complained I got a partial refund.What if I had nor complained? The workers were excellent,professional and worked quickly and efficiently they were courteous and very very contentious in all aspects of he move.They saved me a half hour of unload time by busting their butts.The management at the office asked me "what did I want"? I told them that I wanted to be charged honestly and fairly. 62.00 for materials.All my items were in boxes,only five items were wrapped in shrink and tape.All blankets were returned.I asked for an itemized bill of the "materials" I have not received this as of this review.
I would use this company again BUT I would not trust them to provide me with any materials at all. The movers were great and NOTHING was damaged in any way during handling or moving.
