Not Happy at all.

Let me start by saying that 3 brothers is just a broker-- meaning they will match you up with someone to move your stuff. The carrier that they selected for me, Posh Moving and Storage, was terrible. My experience with 3 brothers was good; they were kind, helpful, and respectful. Posh, on the other hand, over charged me, gave almost zero communication, and was rough with my items. The charge ended up being double the estimate (which I even buffered a little bit to be sure I had enough room). Promised 2 weeks for delivery but took 3, and they didn't reach out to me until the day of. I was told that they would give at least 72 hours notice, so we went away for the weekend. I had to leave my vacation and return home because they couldn't honor their commitments. Is this 3 Brothers' fault? No, absolutely not, but when you are a broker, your carriers' performance reflects on you. For that reason, I won't be able to recommend that anyone uses 3 brothers.

We are sorry to hear that your experience with Posh Moving was less than satisfactory. At this time, we are in the process of contacting their management in order to verify that they are performing according to our expectations. The company has noted on their end that you received communication on the 22nd indicating that delivery would take place within 5-7 business days. It is expected that you receive 24 hour notice that delivery is incoming. As of 4/9, your pickup was completed. On the delivery disclosure it was stated that the estimated delivery date was 14 business days from your first available delivery date. However, this was not a guaranteed date. Regarding the additional cost at the time of pickup, I reviewed the paperwork. On the inventory sheet, 149 items are listed as opposed to the 94 items we received during the inventory process. If there are additional items, the space reservation will increase, which in turn will raise the total cost of the move since it is based on the amount of space occupied by the truck. We understand that it is impossible for you to remember every piece of furniture or item that needs to be moved. This is why you are able to adjust the inventory at the time of pickup. That being said, if additional space is required or additional services need to be provided, the move cost will increase. There has been no communication from you that there was anything unsatisfactory happening with your move. We wish we had known so that we could intervene on your behalf. One star because I can’t give no stars! RUN

Run...don't stop. They are NOT at all what they claim to be . They will tell you they will be there 24/7 and answer your calls... not true

They will tell you you will have a private truck and charge you extra if you decide to go with that..... not true They have nothing to do with the trucking. The trucking company showed up at our home with a trailer. Our furniture and belongings were then put on the trailer and driven to LA where they were offloaded to a warehouse and will sit until a truck comes that is going to Florida. We will not have our stuff for up to 30 days. The price they gave us for our private truck which was not private was incorrect. It was about $3000 more than what we were told. We were told $8700 and paid over $12k.

Nothing they tell you is true so run! They entice you with their pricing and promises, and they are all lies. And by the time you find out it's too late you're sitting there waiting to move so you just go with it. It’s been 2 days short of 4 weeks and 3 carriers and our

truck just arrived. A few broken items….lots of waiting and still haven’t heard from 3 Brothers Moving and Storage. I did get Luke once… I called him from my mom’s phone he didn’t pick up, but he called her back (he didn’t know that number) She handed me the phone…. And he hung up on me You can't say you weren't warned. RUN

Your original estimate was for 1610 cubic feet, which is roughly 150 cubic feet short of the entire 26 ft box truck. Your booking agent added some additional space during the booking process to ensure that there would be enough space for your items. Your inventory had so much extra space that when you added over 40 items to Quality Assurance, there was no additional space added and there is still some additional space on there. In accordance with the paperwork we received from the time of pickup, an additional 102 items were added to your inventory. With this large number of additional items that were not previously disclosed, the drive must increase the final price of the move. A move's final cost is directly proportional to the amount of space the items occupy inside the moving truck. It is understood that there is no way to have a 100% accurate inventory of items as things can change last minute with what is going to be going and not going. With that being said when there is an increase in volume the driver must adjust the price. As per the DOT, they must tell you that worst case scenario the delivery will take up to 21 business days. As you are moving over 2000 miles it can we are typically seeing around 7-14 business days from the first available delivery date, unless there are unforeseen/unavoidable delays. Your pickup took place on 8/5 and based on the date of review your delivery took place around the 28th or 29th which would be 16 business days. Unfortunately, due to logistics and drivers only being able to operate their vehicles for a set amount of hours when going across the country, it can take a little longer as opposed to moving a shorter distance due to traffic and other conditions. Horrible experience

My delivery came with numerous boxes that looked like they had been tossed around the truck for the entire cross country drive. When the boxes are collapsed, upside down or have holes in them, you know there wasn’t any care taken in handling your items. Multiple broken items with sentimental value that can’t be replaced. Worst of all, the delivery came without a second person to help the driver unload so I got to do the unloading with the driver. Then the driver left without reassembling any of the furniture items that were disassembled when they were picked up. Reassembly and moving the items are part of why you pay extra for a moving company! Three brothers hires out your pickup and your delivery to different vendors so that they can pass the blame when they fail to meet the basic requirements of your contract. I spent $8000 for the worst service of my life. Worst part is I called to let them know about the issues, spoke with a person for 3 minutes and never heard back. They’re just counting on people not taking them to court because it isn’t worth the hassle. Hire anyone else

SDEPOSIT

At 72 years old, I was going to make a move 5 hours from the h ome I was living in. I called 3 Brothers and they were nice on the phone . The price was somewhat reasonable. The call I made to them was around mid August and I was not moving until the end of October. I gave them a deposit of $875. Approximately 2 weeks later (this past weekend) my moving plans fell through. I contacted 3 brothers and asked what I needed to do to get my deposit back. I was informed I WOULD NOT BE GETTING MY DEPOSIT BACK. They did nothing except rob me, a senior citizen living on a fixed income. They said nothing about me losing my deposit if I cancelled...6 to 7 weeks before the move date. Disappointed, sick at my stomach and financially broke. 3 Brothers, I hope you go out to eat at a very exquisite restaurant...compliments from a very dissatisfied customer.

Scammers

The original quote is only the commission for this company. They are not local but will tell you they are. This company is a scam. Stay far away! $8,000 quote doubled to $16,000 on moving day as soon as the furniture was loaded on the truck. Took advantage of my elderly mother in law. Stay away!

Scam! Bait & Switch

Undercharge you for your items and then call before the move to revise and then when the driver comes to pick up items.. he will tell you that you need MORE space so either you pay up or you lose your move. Don’t waste your time with this scam of a business.
