IF I could give zero I would, They are scammers and I'm in the process of filing a lawsuit and have filed with the Attorney General of Florida if you have been scammed by them file with Attorney General. They bait and switch you, then cancel your move when you don't agree to the new charge and long and behold keep your deposit and ghost you! We hired them to move us to Hawaii from Florida and they seemed great at first, price was great, and Alex communicated great with us for three months. A week before the move Bruce came into the picture, we updated our inventory list and even paid more for additional cubic feet. We are prior military, so we know how cubic feet works. The day of our move the movers show up and within 5 minutes tell me that on top of my $18,000 quote I will have to pay an additional $13,000 for my stuff to leave the port and an additional $10,000 to deliver to my home in Hawaii. My Bill of Lading said Door to Door Service. I was shocked and immediately called 3 Brothers who acted surprised. They called me back and said it was their mistake they didn't take into account Port Fees and told us they understood our frustration. We told we are not paying an additional $23,500 to move. Also keep in mind they did this two days before we were to fly out, our lease was up, and we had to move. They put us on hold and came back and said the best thing to do was cancel our move and they would refund our $6500 deposit. Well, no shock they have now said they will not refund us since we cancelled. Well, I mean you tried holding a pew pew to my head to get me to pay an additional $23,500 and I didn't agree to it so you cancelled it, not me! They will not respond to email at all and keep referring back to the contract saying if you cancel, they can keep it, they breached the contract when they tried to raise the price 110% above the quote and did a bait and switch. I will not be going away and now it's my mission to help not just myself but others who have been taken advantage of by them. They also have other companies with different names that they use to do this. We are currently in talks with our attorney about a class action suit. We have been able to reach multiple other clients who used them through yelp, and Facebook. Also file complaints with the DOT and BBB. Don't give up home, that you will get compensated. This was just recently settled by the Attorney General of Florida against other moving companies doing the same thing!

Our move was from Oklahoma to Kansas-they showed up with1- 24 footboxtruck and 2 people. We told Anthony numerous times it took a 52 foot trailer to move us from Colorado to Oklahoma. Tim’s first comment when he arrived was — I need more help and another truck—are we supposed to pack everything too? We had to give them $2600.00 more so Tim could get another truck and 3 extra helpers. After they got everything loaded we had to give them a cashiers check for $7700.00. We were dealing with Anthony to begin with and then Bruce right before the move. We too tried to cancel when the sale of our home fell thru—they told us we couldn’t get our deposit back but they would honor the bid for 2 years. We did not know this was a broker we were dealing with. After arriving in Wichita, we had to go get another cashiers check for $7700.00 before they would open the trucks! We had to get cashiers checks before they would do anything. The guys that came had no clue how to pack anything. We have several items broken-they were just in a box- no wrapping at all. There was not one piece of bubble wrap on anything! We are also missing a Kuerig coffee pot, set of towels (4 bath,4 hand towels, and 4 washcloths), and a furniture dolly they ask to “borrow” because they did not have one! What moving company comes with no furniture dolly? We had all garment boxes with no bar to hang clothes on- everything was just dumped in the box-hangers and all. Big mess! We were charged another $11,000 and it had to be a cashiers check. Our 3 hour move cost us $21,000. We were definitely over a barrel- had to be out of our house and needed a mover. WORST COMPANY EVER! No wonder they change their name all the time. We too are considering legal action!

Alex LIED to us!! This guy says”I will answer your call for any questions to make sure you’re comfortable.” Let me tell you, as soon as we signed & them things started changing Alex conveniently disappeared!

Had we known your LOUSY company was just a broker we NEVER would have done ANY business with your company!!

You are scandalous & fricken THEIVES!! Bruce tells us to pay more based on a “professional” companies quote.Had I known this wasn’t a professional company I would not even bothered with them! Then movers show up and tell us they get zero of that deposit and if we want to move we had to pay up & pay big. $15,000+ later we got moved. So that added to the bullshit Bruce Richards fed us we paid about $22,000 for this move! So when it came down to it the quote was a little over $11k and when it was all said and done we had to pay over $22k.

Such a BAD DECISION choosing your company!

We should have went with with United Van Lines.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $22000

I am very unhappy with the service I received from 3 Brothers Moving. I called them and got a fair price, $1944 to do a small move from Boston, MA to Scottsdale, AZ. I wanted to move a few pieces of furniture and a few boxes after my Ex passed away. Until the move, the saleman was very responsive. I realized they were a broker, but felt that would likely be who I got for a small move. As my Ex was dying, and I was in from out of state, I didn’t have much time. When the movers came (a day early – they were told a different date than I was given), they quoted me $1400 more! I ended up having to sign a new agreement for $700 more after some negotiation! I called and texted 3 Brothers, that I was being charged more, no response at all!

When I called their customer service to find out where my shipment was, they said they would call back. No word, ever. Perhaps it was because the truck’s transmission died and there was no date for delivery. The shipment was not made in a moving van, but in a common carrier. When the shipment was finally to be delivered, they wanted to charge me $350 more because they did not want to drive a 14-wheeler into my complex to my single family home. They wanted another $350! I ended up paying $75 more, but I was not pleased. Thus, I paid over $800 (41%) more for the shipment. I felt 3 Brothers priced low, got their commission and left me in the lurch, holding the bag, the money bag. I put the charge on my credit card and am contesting it.

My story seems to be inline with everyone else. Conversations we had prior to booking with me reiterating a drop dead delivery date. Daniel Thompson told me over and over again not a problem just tell the movers when the arrive. Well when they arrived 2 days late, I was shocked because I had no idea 3 Brothers was brokering out our move (American Machinery & Parts Exports)...we would never have hired them had we known. they charged us another $1,200 for additional cf even though not only did we not add items, we had removed items prior to. Now they have our stuff, will not give us a delivery date but stating they will deliver within 21 days of our requested delivery date. All the contact emails and phone numbers I have for the people (Daniel Thompson, Bruce Richards and Jenn) at 3 Brothers, no one will respond to emails or phone calls. I feel I am being held hostage and it is causing issues for our son who is starting university (he is the one moving ). It has cost us flights, dog kenneling, and conflicts with scheduled vacations time through our jobs. Not to mention we are paying rent on an apt and now we may have to get a hotel till delivery.

We have moved every 2-4 years with my husbands job for the past 20 years....NEVER experienced such a scam in my life. They need to be held accountable!!! And get this, the manager/owner listed through the state of Florida is Edward Cannatelli and Tabytha Miller. Ed is apparently a builder Cannatelli Builders.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $2881

We chose this company because of ratings and the sales person seemed very knowledgeable and efficient. We filled out the form listing everything thatwas to be moved and reiterated several times that there would be no boxes. A few days before the move, a representative called to confirm what was being moved and quoted a balance of $2100. We used a personal check for the deposit. We were never told that we couldnt use one for the balance. When the truckers arrived, they said they had to charge us by cubic foot and the balance would be approximately $4900;more than double what had been quoted. They also would not accept a check or credit card, and we needed to produce money orders or pay by Zelle. We felt trapped. 3 Brothers customer service wouldnt honor the balance we were quoted and sided with the driver. We had to use all our savings to cover the cost. I have tried twice now to reconcile this with the company, but I'm getting the run around. I believe we were scammed. I feel like they knew they had an elderly couple between a rock and a hard place and took advantage of us.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $6200

Got a great quote from them based off of multiple weeks of conversation about how much space we needed, only to find out they were wrong and/or lied.

The movers/moving truck arrive (driven by a company that is NOT 3 brothers) and they tell us we needed over 100 sq ft more than 3 Brothers told us.

So here we are trying to figure out what to do, while a different company than we had been working with, is sitting in our driveway.

We had no choice but to agree to spending over $1000 more than we were told, for our stuff to be put in 1 truck, then brought to another location, to be put in ANOTHER truck, driven by someone that doesn't even work for EITHER COMPANY we had dealt with before.

This matters because the more your stuff is moved, the more likely it is that it will get damaged. Which OF COURSE, happened with ours.

Needless to say, this company is inexperienced and either mislead to get the sale, or have no idea what they are doing.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3640

I talked to this company about a out of state move from fl to mo beginning of Feb to move on March 1 got a quote of 4300 and I gave 1195 deposit as we got packed and got closer they called with a video and took count and the items were more and the price went up to 7500 I spoke with the rep I made it clear for everything we had packed and boxes he took a look at on FaceTime I would not pay not 1 dime over 6300 ….I told Kevin do not show up at my house and give me another larger bill he agreed this would not happen…..I have looked at reviews at this time and noticed alot of this happened in the passed …..day of move they showed up and bill went over 9 k spoke with them and let them know we won’t be going further they lied lady on phone told me I’m not getting a refund I told her bad reviews bbb and attorney general’s getting notice ….she offered a full refund that day …..beginning of April I get a email saying out out 1195 they are doing me a favor at 500 back then went to 600 and now coming up on may still no refund and unsatisfied customer sounds like more of the same company’s like this are very unprofessional and I’ll unlikely do any good with them .I’ve turned this matter to the state of Florida attorney general and the bbb beware and look at reviews on these companies before this happens to you !!!!!!!
