Long-distance move from Saint Petersburg, FL to Scotland, CT

I do not recommend this company.

Took them almost 12 hours to move my 10x20. After no communication until almost 6pm, I was notified that their lead mover on my move quit. I received several damaged pieces of furniture, a TV and dented dryer. I was told there's no way they damaged these items and they were poorly wrapped. Being there was a disgruntled employee, you think they would honor there insurance claims. Furthermore, I was told by there manager they would reach out to a furniture repair man and contact me soon. My brand new couch was torn in three separate places. This was over a month ago and 1 voice-mail later I still haven't been contacted. I chose to go local to support my community and they also have good reviews, I guess I should of just kept the original movers that put my stuff in storage. I do not recommend this company.

Long-distance move from Quincy, FL to Bethany Beach, DE

Very Disappointed.

I’ve been trying to resolve an issue with my final bill. I was overcharged and the final bill doesn’t match my contract. I’ve called customer service multiple times and a supervisor was supposed to call me back, but never did. I’ll be disputing with my credit card company. The move itself went well, but the billing has been sketchy so I’d advise considering that before using them.

Beware.

So we had hired them to help us move. Our movers were great and efficient. However, we noticed after we started to unpack, our tv was broken. Immediately, I contacted the company to make a claim, they asked for pictures and after I submitted the claim, I never heard back. I repeatedly called and left text messages and nothing … it’s been about two months .. I understand accidents happen, things happen, but if I can give zero stars for the customer service I 100% would. Beware

Never hire them for the move

I hired them for an interstate move. Later discovered that they are brokers. The final estimate that they gave me was $ 15,563. the movers charged me $26,883 on the day of the move. I had no way out of it, since I needed to vacate the house, I was stock.

When I received my staff, I discovered broken dishes, damaged furniture, packing tape that is stock to the furniture that can't be removed. Missing boxes with vintage valuables and tools and when I claimed all of this the Moving company offered me $75 for the damage and loss. By the way the name of the moving company is SHIP 4 U TRANS. I was absolutely flabbergasted and insulted.

They make your claim process very labor intensive they do not accept Zip files and only 10MB file to submit all the Moving papers as well as Pictures of the damage. Try to fit all of this into 10MB.

Avoid them at all cost. Both the 3 Brothers Moving and

Storage as well as SHIP 4 U TRANS.

This was the worst experience of my life. The immigration from Soviet Union to US was less frustrating than my move from Illinois to Florida.

AVOID 3 BROTHERS MOVERS AND UNITED SPEED MOVERS AT ALL COSTS!

Unable to post the entire complaint. I will on any site where I can post the entire complaint.

If you value your sanity, finances, and belongings, do NOT use 3 Brothers Movers or United Speed Movers. My experience with these companies was an absolute nightmare--marked by deception, unethical practices, and a complete disregard for customer rights. It's time for action, and I strongly believe a class-action lawsuit must be pursued immediately.

There are countless families and individuals who have been deceived, mistreated, and financially exploited by these companies. It's heartbreaking to know this behavior continues unchecked.

We must stand together to demand accountability and justice. If you've been a victim of 3 Brothers Movers or United Speed Movers, I urge you to come forward. Together, we can file a class-action lawsuit to stop this predatory behavior and ensure no one else suffers at their hands.

I refuse to be disregarded, diminished, or treated as if my voice doesn't matter. We are stronger together, and we can take on these companies and win.

If you're considering using 3 Brothers Movers or United Speed Movers, DON'T. They will lure you in with a low quote, inflate the price once your belongings are on the truck, and leave you to deal with delays, damaged items, stolen property, and outright lies. Their customer service is non-existent, and their practices are predatory.

I am currently speaking with consumer protection attorneys to pursue legal action. If you've had similar experiences, please join me in seeking justice. These companies must be stopped.

1. Deceptive Quoting and Inflated Costs

I was initially quoted $8,230 by 3 Brothers Movers for my move. However, once my belongings were packed and loaded onto their truck, I was hit with an inflated total of $20,746, almost TRIPLE the original quote. M

When I protested and requested that they leave my items behind, they refused, stating they can't take the items off the truck and left with my things anyway. I was forced to proceed under duress, fearing I might never see my belongings again.

2. Manipulative Payment Practices

I attempted to pay with my American Express card, but they falsely claimed they don't accept AmEx, stating they only accept wire transfers, cash, or checks. When I explained that AmEx was my only form of payment, they suddenly "remembered" they could accept Visa and MasterCard. This manipulative and chaotic payment process left me feeling confused and powerless.

3. Mismanagement and Holding My Items Hostage

On September 16, 2024, my belongings were taken from Virginia to New Jersey--a state I never authorized--before eventually being sent to Florida. I didn't even know my items had been routed to New Jersey until days later, and I was never informed or asked for permission.

I filed complaints with several agencies, including the Better Business Bureau (BBB), on September 17, 2024. That same day, I also filed complaints with:

* Florida Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)

* Florida Department of Agricultural and Consumer Services (FDACS)

* US Department of Transportation

* State Attorney's Office

Despite my efforts, 3 Brothers Movers ignored my complaints. The only communication I received was an email on September 18, 2024, stating they had discovered a discrepancy and would contact the carrier to resolve it. That "resolution" never happened, and my items weren't delivered until October 3, 2024--nearly three weeks late.

Communication with United speed movers who said that there was a discrepancy and deducted $1800 from the balance leaving me to pay $18,646 still and inflated price.

4. Stolen, Missing, Damaged, and Destroyed Items

When my belongings finally arrived, the condition of my items was appalling. Several items were stolen, missing, damaged, or destroyed due to their careless handling and poor packing practices.

* Stolen Items: I filed a police report for stolen items, including those I had receipts for.

* Damaged Items: Many of my belongings were broken or mishandled.

* Destroyed Items: Products that I carefully packed melted during transit, leaking and seeping through the boxes. Oils tumbled over and soaked into other items, causing irreparable damage.

* Missing Items: Some of my most valuable belongings were unaccounted for, and I was never provided with an explanation.

The blatant disregard for my property demonstrated by these companies is unforgivable. I also notified FILED A POLICE REPORT about some of my stolen items ( that I had receipts for).

Local move only 12 miles away from Maple Valley Washington to Issaquah

I was quoted $1813 by Three Brothers. After the carrier loaded my things the dispatcher told me it would cost $3113. Quite a bit more! She said I had only a closet size of more items but that this would now be the price. It was a Sunday and I didn't have enough cash to cover it. She said I would have to go to my bank and get the extra cash to pay for the move. I had to drive 45 minutes to my old bank to get the money. I feel taken. I do not recommend this company!

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

I wised up just in time to not go through with the move. It was in the moving documents that I could request a refund of the deposit if I notified them within a certain time period, which I did. They sent me emails saying the refund was in the mail. It never arrived. I went through the Better Business Bureau and this company still claimed that were going to put the refund check in the mail. It is November of 2024 (I gave the company the deposit in June of 2024) and they never sent the refund check.

The BBB eventually had to close out the case as unresolved.

Luckily for me I did not go through with the entire move.

Whatever you do, do not use this company.

I've been waiting over a year for a refund from 3 Brothers Moving & Storage. My girlfriend paid them with an e-check, which was a huge mistake. They keep lying to me, saying the check is in the mail or going out. It's been since last September, and they even lied to the BBB, saying they made the refund multiple times. If you schedule a move with them, don't make the same mistake my girlfriend did. Pay with a credit card so you can charge it back and they can't scam you out of your money!

These guys are scammers!

This company is the worst. Don't use them. They are scammers.

When I called around for a cross country mover in 2024, I talked to several different moving companies, and 3 Brothers really stood out. They were very friendly, and provided the best pricing. However, all they have is a bait-and-switch tactic. They gave me the lowest price, and then on the move date, ANOTHER moving company MC Movers came to move my stuffs. And then they wanted to charge me double for the storage fees. I was quoted $.50 per cubic foot, and I was charged $1.00 per cubic foot. I had to fight with MC Movers, and when I called 3-Brothers for help, they essentially threatened me with a law suit, if I don't pay the storage fee. MC Movers even threaten to sell my stuff if I dont pay their storage fees. After much back and forth and I had to prove to them the actual quote, they agreed to $.50 per cubic foot storage fee.

In addition, 3-Brothers promised me on the phone 3 months of free storage, however, MC Movers only gave me one month of free storage. When I called 3-Brothers, they never never return my calls, leaving me helpless. 3-Brothers would just lied through their teeth to get your business, and then gave your contract to a moving company which actually do the moving. 3-Brothers are only middle men, they actually do not provide moving services.

To make matter worse, one of my pieces of furniture were missing during the move, and no one seems to be able to locate it, and in order for me to get compensation, i have to filed a grievance with another company.

This is the WORST moving experience ever.

I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ALL POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO STAY AWAY FROM 3-BROTHERS MOVING COMPANY.

Scam

I totally agree with every negative review that has been posted, and more. Do not use this company, it is not a reputable company and they scam their customers. The r a brokerage, which means that they contact out to small movers all over the country. The moving company was United Transit Relocation out of Philly. They are also a scam. They lied continuously, prolonged my move for 6 days, while I stayed in a hotel. Many pieces of furniture and belongings were damaged. 3 brothers would not return my calls. They said they would schedule a conference call b/n 3 parties, but they never called and have not responded since. I sent both companies 16 pics of damages. They sent me a link to file a claim, and it was thru another company. You had to pay for the service. They violated every business practice there is. I am filing a complaint with the FL AG's office. Both companies should not be allowed to operate. Oh, did I mention that the final payment was almost double the estimate? Total scam. Beware.
