This was a very good move. My rep did a great job explaining how the process all works. They did run about 45 min late , but once the movers arrived they were very courteous. They got right to work and worked non stop for 8 hours straight. They took very little breaks as they knew we had to finish before the front office closed up (they don't allow movers past a certain time). They were very careful when loading all of my belongings, packed as good as it could possibly be packed. I waited a little bit of time for my delivery because my new place wasn't ready yet, luckily they were able to store it for me. Once I was ready I called the front office and a lady named Elizabeth was so easy to work with. Once my stuff got to my new place they put everything back to where I wanted it. They guys were great! Everything came in good form for the most part. All in all it was a great experience I paid exactly what my estimate was, and I would recommend them.

I contacted 24/7 Logistics via Consumer Affairs and was very glad I did. Chris Drake was friendly, personable, listened to my concerns and gave me helpful hints. He sent me to several websites to check the company’s ratings and credentials too.

The quote was reasonable and competitive. The actual movers were professional, courteous and helpful. There was no damage or breakage. The really odd shaped pieces got special attention.

Elizabeth kept us apprised of the “road” progress once it got started. She, like Chris, is an asset to the company. I’ve moved many times and this move was one of the top two.

The only down-side was the timing on either end but the load was delivered safely and on budget. No hidden fees or outrageous add-ons that you might read about in reviews of other companies.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3400

I spoke with a representative from this company. I told him I needed to move my things from Ca to Ok. We went over in detail room by room what specific items I had. He gave me a price of $7400. I had to put down a deposit of $1986. He said unless I forgot about a baby grand piano I wouldn’t be charged any more money. I hired them put down my deposit and he assured me that he would be available 24/7 throughout my entire move no matter if it were a weekend or not. Moving day came the movers came in barely looked at the list that me and the representative made of my items. He started making his own list. He advised me that because I had more items than what was on the list and that I had no packing materials ( I packed everything I could myself) that he had to bill me an additional $3000. When I asked him which items I didn’t have on the list he couldn’t give me an answer. I also asked for his name and told him I would like to speak with his supervisor and he refused to tell me and refused me talking to him. After I calmed down I felt as if I had no other choice but to consent with the new price as I had to be out of my home in 3 days so that the new owners could move in. He wrote out a new estimate with the extra $3000 on it. I signed the estimate and also wrote that I felt I was under duress. I did not change anything on the estimate. The mover who throughout this process was hostile towards me on different occasions got upset with me and said he had to call customer service. He stepped outside, I assumed to make his phone call and after about 15 minutes they got in their trucks and left. They never came back in to explain anything to me. I still to this day cannot get ahold of anyone from that company. Throughout that day I tried to call the original guy I hired at least 5 times, I texted him and I also emailed him. No responses. I tried to call the 800 number for the company and could not get ahold of anyone. Now that I am asking for my deposit back from my bank and the Better Business Bureau they have responded to each of them each with a different reason why they won’t give my deposit back. First it was because the claim I never signed the second estimate. I have witnesses that watched me sign it and the second is saying that I didn’t cancel in their allotted time frame to get my deposit back. I never canceled their service. They walked out on me. Please do not use this company. You will be upset once you do.

Horrible experience from beginning to end. They charged me $500 more than the quote on the day of the move, after I had already given them a deposit, despite the salesman's assurances this was an overestimate. It took 11 days to get my things delivered, and they lost 4 items totaling over $1000. They even delivered us some random items that weren't ours, so they clearly can't keep track of your stuff. They failed in every single way possible. Pay for a better service, or just Uhaul it yourself.

We moved from south of D.C. to Philadelphia at the height of the pandemic lockdown. They seemed professional and easy to work with at the start, but the mark of a company is how they react when problems occur - and they failed miserably. My complaints:

* over the phone, they had my wife walk through every room of the house and outside and describe what we had, and used that for the estimate. We then sold some large items (dining room set, dresser, lawnmower and more) which should have reduced our cost - but once loaded they charged us 25-30% MORE. Luckily we sold those things, because we had already filled the van they brought.

* we had the original packaging for the plasma TV, but they said if we packed it ourselves, they would not cover any damage. Instead, the movers discarded the packaging, wrapped it in a blanket, and it got busted - after which they said they pay us $12 for it. we had other claims which they rejected. After weeks of complaining and filling out claims, they offered as $300 to go away. It took another month to get a check - and it wasn't a real check, but a xeroxed copy of a check (luckily, our bank still took it).

* The move was only a three-hour drive. However, since we could not take delivery the next day, they had our movers empty the whole truck into a warehouse that night to re-use the truck, and then reload it the next night for our delivery. That extra loading may have caused the damaged and lost items.

* We paid the deposit by credit cards, but when we tried to pay the same way upon pickup, they said they needed cash. This was NOT sufficiently communicated to us ahead of time.

* They were supposed to arrive for delivery 9-11 a.m.. The crew did not arrive until 2 p.m., because they had been reloading our truck until very late.

We have had several moves of much longer distances, that all went better than this move did. Buyer beware!

We are very pleased with our experience with 24/7 Logistics. From the first call with Chris, we had experiences with first name people that actually did what they promised; called on time, had movers show up with notice and on time, worked through all of the details of the move, and, didn't get to any nickel and dime-ing at the end! The movers at pick up did a great job protecting both our belongings and the home we were moving out of. And, the movers that delivered our furnishings took that same care putting everything in it's place. Promise, delivery and friendliness, not to mention professionalism; can't say enough.

Long distance moving has always been a nightmarish experience for me in the past. twice I've tried it and had results that would be enough to dissuade anyone from trying it again. Due to work circumstances and the short window of time for my move I had no other option but to rely on a transport company. Stas and his team turned those negative experiences around from the first conversation. From courteous interactions to prompt responses and exceptional care of my personal belongings I cant say enough great things about this company. Only reason they don't get more stars is because i cant give them. Will certainly rely on them for future relocations.

Do not use this company!! They loaned out there truck too two random people they found then those 2 people found helpers on the internet once they made it to there destination and paid them under the table, they destroyed countless items most of it priceless family items like a grandfather clock, a grand piano when they tried to use power tools to put it back together then when there was keys and wooden planks missing they tried to say it was spare parts. They didn't number or label anything so there was no way to verify everything was delivered then when they told us they would not remove anything without being paid in full by money Order I went and got 23 money orders from my bank and then was told it can't have the banks name on it they wanted cash, which tells you exactly how this company operates. Oh and the best part after being paid they decided to say that all the stuff wasn't actually delivered there is another truck at the old place that hasn't left yet. They also lost there paper work and tried to say they needed to search my car because they thought I had it and when I said they can look into it but not in it the guy freaked out and started throwing boxes around trying to find it. I know you would think it couldn't get worse but they left all there trash all the wrapping the tie downs everything half the garage is there garbage and I was told because they don't work for 24/7 logistics they can't put it back on the truck. Heed this warning and avoid this company at all costs just pray they go out of business soon so they can't do this to someone else
