Ship A Car Direct is awesome!
I needed to get my car from Florida to California and after reading some reviews I decided to give Ship A Car Direct a try. I spoke with Angela and she explained everything and the time frame that it would happen in. My car was picked up on time on the decided pick up date and was delivered to me the very day I arrived in California.
Impressive!

I shipped the same car back less than a month later and was stressed by poor communication and pick up and delivery time being off
No call the last day to pick up before my flight
I had to get nasty to get anyone to pick up the car and they couldn’t speak English
I don’t know where Stefan was but the office wasn’t helpful by telling me about an employee’s personal problems causing me problems. No one can make a call or answer any? Voicemail not set up for the company contact. Always referred to dispatch who was unresponsive
The car arrived 4 days earlier than expected and I barely had time to meet him due to the travel delays
Diesel Auto Express made me sweat and I won’t use them ever again.

Purchased a pick-up long distance, in Washington State. Worked with Ship a Car to arrange shipping to my home in Vienna, VA. Renee was my rep and she arranged for Tech Transport to ship my car. All went smoothly and I recommend the company for your shipping needs. Vic with Tech Transport was easy to communicate with via voice and text. He was surprised the truck had a cap on it. I had not mentioned it to Renee at Ship a Car nor had she asked me about it. A truck with cap is more expensive to ship and Vic and I arranged for me to pay $200 more over the original quote. Renee offered to fully refund the extra charge to me but I agreed to 50/50 due to my satisfaction with my overall experience with Ship a Car and that neither party was aware of the potential extra cost. Renee was new to the company but was very enjoyable to work with. This is the second time I've used the company and will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

When a company delivers what it promises, You tell others. Ship-A-Car Direct did just that. From the professional attributes of the driver, to the customer service, and finally the delivery, I can not say one negative thing, and I am about the most nitpicking customer one could ever not want to deal with..Believe me!
The quote was right along the others. I shipped my late mothers classic 1988 Mercury Cougar from Southern California, to Pennsylvania. A gift to my son. It arrived ahead of schedule, no dents, in other words, clean and perfect! I will use their services again if the need ever arises. If you're in So Cal, ask for "Nes" to transport your vehicle. He's the best!. Thank you Angela for all your help in setting things up, and the rebate for telling others what a great company you run!

As a first timer transporting my Prius from LA to Tampa, I was scared of trusting my car to anyone. However, Ship a Car Direct did an amazing job by responding to my lead, providing a quote, finding a mover and negotiating the earliest date for pick up. The driver were very proffesional, from pick up to delivery, they contacted me ahead of time to update me and it felt like the smoothest process ever. Will absolutely recommend and will use them again if needed. Keep it up, and thank you for helping me out. ($1,400)

Ship A Car Direct is the cure for anxiety. I live in New York & purchased a car in California. I was going to fly to California and drive the car back stopping along the way to see family and friends. Unfortunately my wife was not feeling adventurous so on to plan B ship the car. The High Anxiety started after posting my info on a shipping website. I was barraged with phone calls, emails and estimates. Vetting these companies was difficult to say the least. The anxiety rose and the days past. I wanted my car and this process to be over. A cold call from a transport company sold me with a better price, less transportation time and good reviews. The next day I checked the companies rating on BBB website. My heart sank and my stomach turned. I then read the fine print of the contract. Pickup and Drop off days are just estimates. Your car can sit for weeks unless you want to pay extra for a different trucker. I canceled ASAP and a month later I still have issues.

Now here is the Cure. A family friend recommended David from Ship A Car Direct a company he used more than a handful of times without issue. I contacted David (818-824-4910) and it just felt right. David stayed in contact with me to and through the delivery. Dave gave me a fare and competitive price and continuously kept me apprised. Louis the transport driver kept in touch from pickup to drop off.

We shipped a 1929 Ford from Florida to Illinois. It was my first timing using a shipping company and couldn't be happier with the information and customer service from Ship a Car direct. We received quotes from a few companies and their price was inline or better than others. I also called a few times with lots of questions, they always picked up or called back promptly and had information emails covering the shipping process. We also really liked the app to take pictures before and after delivery.

I was very happy with the whole process of shipping my car about 3000 miles across the country with Ship A Car Direct.

I had a short time window trying to make arrangements for shipping my wife's Camry. Because we were in deep south Texas (RGV) it was really out of the predominant transit zones. I talked with David at "Ship a Car Direct" a few times and he was very straight forward and honest. There were so may tasks I was managing between movers for my household goods; transactions with realtor and sale of home; plus the arrangements for the new residence in North Carolina. I was really grateful that Ship A Car Direct made arrangements and kept me thoroughly informed. I strongly recommend you consider this company.

I got the delivery of my car on time, it was delivered with no damage. Carrier company delivered the car on my requested date, they communicated the delivery time properly. I had no trouble in following up with them.

I really appreciate the way ShipACarDirect handled the entire process. I was properly communicated and guided by ShipACarDirect during entire process. I used ShipACarDirect mobile app to take before pickup and after delivery pictures of my car, it is very easy and convenient. I am really happy that I chose ShipACarDirect to ship my car.

ShipACar Direct provided the most reasonable quote and service from the agents was great. The terms and methods were clearly explained and follow up calls were made every few days. I had provided short notice when ordering service, but they dropped the commission in favor of the carrier and found one in time. There were some delays in delivery due to the carrier's mechanical issues and no fault of ShipACar Direct, but they followed up regularly. The car was delivered with no damage. I would use them again.

This is my first time using a car delivery company. I was very skeptical and wanted not to trust any company yet I had to deliver my car rather than driving.

I found Ship a Car Direct online, and submitted my request. Very quickly I received a response outlining the cost, and their charge was much lower than other competitors. I called the company and Matt walked me through the process and the cost allocation. After my payment, immediately I received an email for confirmation. Not long after that, I received another email on auto transportation company. I checked them out online and called for verification. My call was answered and the order was confirmed. Many helpful emails were sent on tips, and their damage app and online videos are great!

Not long after that I needed to change pickup and delivery dates. I called customer service and immediately they relayed my message to Matt. Matt called me back and worked with me on the new dates. I reiterated the importance of those dates and he ensured the service will be rendered accordingly.

Even if the driver delayed in picking up my car, the communication was done properly. Eventually, my car was delivered on time without damage.

I appreciate the service and highly recommend this company. Will do the business again when the opportunity presents itself.

Good overall service from Ship A Car Direct. Took a few weeks to line up a driver/rig, but winter weather may have been a factor. The driver/rig that was ultimately assigned (USTA, LLC) was more expensive than initially quoted by SACD, but Scott adjusted his expediters fee to help compensate for the higher total cost.
USTA, LLC did a good job moving the car - no damage, no problems. The driver communicate with me directly, and arranged delivery closer to my home, (Brunswick vs. Portland) as he had another car to pick up in Brunswick. Very accommodating - saved him a stop, and saved me a 60-mile round trip to go get the car - at the same price as the Portland quoted delivery. We have shipped cars before with other services, but we will go to SACD in the future!
