Ship a Car Direct

ShipACar Direct provided the most reasonable quote and service from the agents was great. The terms and methods were clearly explained and follow up calls were made every few days. I had provided short notice when ordering service, but they dropped the commission in favor of the carrier and found one in time. There were some delays in delivery due to the carrier's mechanical issues and no fault of ShipACar Direct, but they followed up regularly. The car was delivered with no damage. I would use them again.

This is my first time using a car delivery company. I was very skeptical and wanted not to trust any company yet I had to deliver my car rather than driving.

I found Ship a Car Direct online, and submitted my request. Very quickly I received a response outlining the cost, and their charge was much lower than other competitors. I called the company and Matt walked me through the process and the cost allocation. After my payment, immediately I received an email for confirmation. Not long after that, I received another email on auto transportation company. I checked them out online and called for verification. My call was answered and the order was confirmed. Many helpful emails were sent on tips, and their damage app and online videos are great!

Not long after that I needed to change pickup and delivery dates. I called customer service and immediately they relayed my message to Matt. Matt called me back and worked with me on the new dates. I reiterated the importance of those dates and he ensured the service will be rendered accordingly.

Even if the driver delayed in picking up my car, the communication was done properly. Eventually, my car was delivered on time without damage.

I appreciate the service and highly recommend this company. Will do the business again when the opportunity presents itself.

Good overall service from Ship A Car Direct. Took a few weeks to line up a driver/rig, but winter weather may have been a factor. The driver/rig that was ultimately assigned (USTA, LLC) was more expensive than initially quoted by SACD, but Scott adjusted his expediters fee to help compensate for the higher total cost.
USTA, LLC did a good job moving the car - no damage, no problems. The driver communicate with me directly, and arranged delivery closer to my home, (Brunswick vs. Portland) as he had another car to pick up in Brunswick. Very accommodating - saved him a stop, and saved me a 60-mile round trip to go get the car - at the same price as the Portland quoted delivery. We have shipped cars before with other services, but we will go to SACD in the future!

As a first time shipper, I really liked the videos the company has available to explain the process and what to expect. It allowed me to ask more detailed questions. Matt explained the process and kept me informed along the way. I felt like my car would be in good hands and also didn’t feel the need to follow up with the driver because Matt and team would. I was concerned because the driver did not pick up my car on the day scheduled (through no fault of his) but the customer service text line was very useful and gave immediate responses. The driver picked my car up the next morning and still delivered on the day they said they would. I was nervous though because it was delivered at night and it was hard to inspect the car. Everything was fine the next morning - my car was in the exact same condition I left it in.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $1400

I contacted Ship A Car Direct about a month prior to our move from CA to MA. They kept periodic communication with me, informing me of what to expect every week as we were approaching pick up date. Carrier assigned was highly experienced, and he was able to work out with me final pick up and delivery dates and times. Every time I contacted Ship A Car Direct via email, phone, or chat, they responded quickly and always answered my questions. This was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Ship A Car Direct to others.

There are a lot of sketchy shippers out there who want a cash deposit to get you the last spot on a transporter that is leaving soon. I am really happy we found Ship A Car Direct. A no pressure shipping agent that reviews shippers' insurance, driving records, and other performance factors. They got a us a very fair price to send my car to my daughter in California. They were on-time, actually a little early, on both ends of the delivery. The deposit was refundable until the car got on transport truck. Everything confirmed in writing. I highly recommend them.

Decided to purchase a car site unseen from Anaheim, California and have it shipped to Las Vegas, Nevada.  Tom at Ship A Car Direct kept in constant touch with me throughout the process.  Once the carrier was assign and a date was scheduled, all I had to do was wait for my vehicle to arrive.  It arrived on the same day that it was picked up in California.  Car was in perfect condition when it arrived.  Driver was friendly and professional.  Will definitely use this company again for my auto transportation needs.
