I would recommend them to anyone!

David, Vince and David were my movers and they were nothing short of phenomenal. They were on time, warm and personable, and absolutely meticulous with their work. They used protective covering for the floor, they shrunk wrap anything remotely fragile, and also shrunk wrap the furniture and mattress so they wouldn't get dirty or damaged. They placed the furniture in my new home where I said I wanted it, and even offered to move it around until it suited me perfectly!

They did a fantastic job!

I was pleasantly surprised by how well these guys did. This was a short distance move with few boxes but lots of big furniture pieces. It was great working with Crystal upfront. I asked for an estimate ahead of time and it was so much lower than the other two quotes I had received I was a little leery. It then I ran into a friend that had recently moved with them and he raved about their work.

SERVICE NEVER RENDERED, NEVER GOT DEPOSIT BACK

I hired United States Moving on 11/16/22 for an out-of-state move btw 11/21-11/22. I was charged $840 dollar deposit for the $2300 job, through agent Jean Pierre. The company canceled bc they didn't have workers to do the job. 11/22 Dispatch told me to email for a refund. Called & emailed, and no response. Jean Pierre went completely cold after as well, with no response to my calls and emails. Really bad business practices. I ended up having to put all of my items in storage last minute because I had to move out my apartment (unexpected costs) and I still have to find another mover to get my items out of state. Now, all I'm trying to do is get my deposit back. Will never work with them again. STILL WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO GET BACK TO ME.

They were absolutely professional and careful

First time hiring movers and went with this company based on the reviews here and I’m very glad that I have coordinated with these guys for my move. Best movers I have ever experienced! They were punctual, fast, and kept me updated throughout the process. They were able to move my 2 bedrooms’ apartment within 6 hours, which got 2 elevators and a long walk. No damage while packing, moving, or unpacking. wonderful people who are generally caring.

Highly recommended!

My experience with this Movers was excellent. The moving coordinator was very good. He handled everything I asked and she did everything I wanted. The pickup and delivery crew were very good too although they were a little late and there was a bit of a challenge to get to the location. Overall, they did what they said they would do and they were courteous in everything.

Beware !!!

You should read all the fine prints and read between the lines before signing up with them. In my case after I signed up in less than 24 Hrs I called to cancel the contract knowing there is 20% withholding fee but they said its non refundable since its less than 14 business days.( Even if it was, Its up to the management to decide).

They are a broker meaning they don't own a fleet. After signing you up they forward it to a third party.

I decided to forego the $1200 deposit than dealing with an unethical company

Broker- scam

Gave us a competitive quote. Showed up and doubled the quote. They had outsourced to a smaller company. We agreed to pay new quote under pressure from USMS. 11 days later on a move from Chicago to Florida, materials haven't left Chicago, and will not for an estimated 5-6 more days until they even load. USMS says that it's not their fault and there is nothing they can do. Zero empathy. Outsourcing scam, stay away. Told us today it may be 30 days before delivered. So they outsourced, washed their hands, and refuse to help.

Run and Hide

Can not say enough negative things about this service or the company they sent our contract to (Monster Moving). For the sake of my own sanity, I'll compartmentalize our numerous complaints into 5 key grievances:

1- Constant moving of goal posts. Our initial pickup window was guaranteed and then missed and rescheduled 3-4 times. Every single time, we had to be the ones to call the service and ask what was going on. We were given excuse after excuse.

2- Lack of Transparency - After receiving the initial quote (during which time we were absolutely lied to about the level of service we could expect), we did not see a contract or terms sheet from USMS or Monster Moving until we'd already deposited over $5000 for the service and our possessions were loaded on their truck.

-- We were asked when we would be available to accept delivery and provided a date. There was absolutely no mention that the contract gave them a 30 DAY delivery allowance FROM THAT DATE. We only discovered this AFTER reading the fine print on the back of the contract; a contract we only received after we had paid 75% of the total moving costs.

3- Multiple items were not packed. We performed a walkthrough with the movers indicating what items should be packed, and which ones should be left. The moving team moved some items out of the way, then completely neglected to load them on the truck at all - even after charging us for the space they would take up.

4- Monster Moving DOUBLED our quote price from USMS when the movers arrived. In fairness, we did have more items to move then we initially anticipated, but certainly not double the amount. Watching them write up the new bill, I saw they quoted 10 cubic feet for a guitar, 15 cubic feet for a Shop Vac, the list goes on and on.

5- Absolute lack of communication. Helen Keller had less of a struggle learning to communicate than USMS and their support team. Constant excuses, long hold times, indifferent operators, and lack of any updates are what you can expect here. Good luck trying to get any answers, reach a manager, or talk to anybody except their inept support team.

There are not many things I would use a time machine to change about my life. But using USMS is certainly one of them. Damn the butterfly effect, I would happily accept any consequences just to not give my money to these dirtbags. It is now the week of Christmas and my wife and I are sitting in an empty house in a new state, hoping against hope that all of our belongings are safe.

In short, run. Run far away. Run and hide from businesses like USMS. They are the true monsters hiding under your bed you were told about as a child. Except these monsters pick up your bed, spit on it, and throw it into the lake and then charge you for the hassle.

The team is as good as everyone says

They had good communication from the start. Absolutely professional and considering we had a huge amount of things to move (two full trucks plus), they were so fast. We also had many things that were fragile and irreplaceable, curved glass cabinets, family heirloom furniture. Not one thing was broken or missing. The price was very reasonable, worth every penny; especially considering the great job they did.

Great Movers

Thank you, you made a very nervous and stressed girl feel really relaxed and good about moving to another country. I moved 5 boxes and a mattress topper! The movers came to my flat, loaded all my belongings into boxed and they were off. I was nervous as the price was so good and less than a week later my belongings arrived at my apartment! The men even carried them up to the 4th floor for me and didn't complain once.

These guys were complete pros!

They showed up on time - with the right equipment. They had quilted furniture pads, door jam protection, lifting harnesses, and bands and straps. They went right to work, and got as much done as they could in the 2 hour slot I booked them for. They were polite and professional. I would highly recommend them, particularly if you have heavy, fragile or valuable items to move.

They are trust worthy

I had to write this because I want everyone to know what an amazing service I had from United States company. Starting from the customer service when I was booking them, they completely guide me about the policy and everything first. They didn’t hide anything from me. Later on moving day, they were on schedule and packed everything safely. Every item was safe without any damage and no item went missing. They assembled all the furniture in my new home and paint of the wall was not scratched. I will recommend them to everyone if someone ever ask me about movers.

Amazing effort!!

The company did a wonderful job coordinating and executing my move. They were responsive, courteous and timely. Office staff was on top of things and accommodating. The movers were great -- would use their service again in a heartbeat. Thanks for making my move a whole lot more manageable and less stressful! But kindly a request work on the storage as it was small for my furniture as I have 8 seater sofa and that very painful to see my sofa hanging a bit outside the storage.

Excellent Service!

Their crew is awesome, professional and helpful as is their customer service. We had an issue where not all our stuff fit on the truck, but their management called to follow up on the service and gave us a credit for the inconvenience. They have excellent customer service and that counts for a lot. I would definitely use them again based on their professionalism and customer service, but next time I'll be sure to let them know all the things I have upfront.

Ron and Peter did a great job with my recent move. This is the second time I've used this company and I would definitely hire them again. Ron was very prompt with his follow-ups and ensured that things went well. I had to reschedule the last minute because of the weather and they were very accommodating. The guys are professionals and took care of all my stuff. Everything was wrapped before loaded to the truck. They even had to break apart my refrigerator to fit through the door properly.

These guys are not moving company but only brokers. I hired thinking they were the moving company and they ended up hiring Reliable Company and Reliable company rented a truck from Budget Company to pick up my furniture. The furniture was load December 27, 2021 and as of today 1/11/22 they haven't delivered the furniture or calling me to let me know they are on way. I already had to buy furniture in the amount of $7,000.00. I am about to call AG Office.

BAIT & SWITCH, SCAM, BEWARE. THIS COMPANY IS A BROKER COMPANY

UNDERESTIMATED SPACE TO KEEP THE PRICE LOW UPFRONT SO THEY COULD WIN THE BID. THEY INCREASED THE PRICE IN SQUARE FOOTAGE WHEN THE MOVING TRUCK SHOWED UP. THE COMPANY IS A BROKER COMPANY AND NOT AN ACTUAL MOVING COMPANY.

ONCE THIS COMPANY RECEIVES THE DEPOSIT THEY DO NOT CARE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICES.

I had to move out of my apt on very short notice and it was a very hectic situation. The owner not only accommodated me but made the process super smooth and was able to get me booked to move the next day. The team was excellent. They were super effective, kind, on schedule, and extremely diligent. I would call them again if I ever needed to move again.

Great Effort!

A good moving experience with United States Moving company that met expectations. Slight scheduling misunderstanding but it was resolved and the move was a success. The skilled, efficient, professional crew moved all our heavy furniture uptight stairways and nothing was broken. The price for the move was extremely competitive for the area and we liked that they provided wardrobe boxes and helped us to pack last-minute items and protectively wrap furniture.
