We just wanted to write this review for the team at United American Moving and Storage! James was our representative that took our call and helped us in a very stressful situation! We had a company booked for our move and come the day before the move, they were no where to be found or anyway to get ahold of!! They gave us a couple numbers, which are all disconnected!!! Still to this day, there numbers are still disconnected! We were SCAMMED!! Then I remember a text from James explaining that if for any reason our move didn't work out or we changed our mind to just give him a call and he would be able to help....well it was a shot in the dark and wouldn't you know they actually got us a truck in our driveway within 24 hours and got us out of a VERY and SCARY and stressful situation in less then a day!! James and Daniel were extremely understanding and helpful and Roxy who is they're dispatcher was with us through out the entire process! We probably drove them crazy with the calls and questions but they were extremely polite and answered every call and every question and concern that we had, which you can imagine, being scammed, we had a lot of them!!! We are now in our new home, they even went above and beyond and set up our furniture room by room for us on drop off. The team they sent were just awesome and even helped us get a few pieces of heavy furniture that we decided not to take, helped us get it to the side of the road!! Amazing company, with amazing people that actually care about they're customers! Thank you again guys, you are life savers!!!

Two weeks ago, I hired United American Moving and Storage to help my mother-in-law move back to Texas. Since I couldn't be there in person, it was tough to sort out all the details, and I needed a lot of help and flexibility. United American Moving and Storage really stepped up and made things much easier for me and my mother-in-law. We're really thankful for the moving team too. They went above and beyond to make my mother-in-law feel comfortable with four big guys moving around her home. They even assisted with some things she was leaving for the neighbors. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

I want to give a five-star rating to the crew from United American Moving and Storage. Huge thanks to the skilled professionals of the moving company, and a special thanks to the boss for providing personal, professional, and friendly service. Despite the rainy weather for the past few days, these guys courageously helped me with the move. However, during the process, I misplaced the disassembled screws for my king-size bed in the master bedroom. Unfortunately, the movers couldn't assemble it after the move. The next day, I found the screws and quickly called the owner of this company. Despite the rain and working late into the night, the owner arrived at my house to help me assemble the bed. The owner has an excellent work ethic, and I'm truly impressed with this moving experience.

Chose United American, moving and storage for my long-distance move to New York. Initially, I was quite worried about the process after reading internet horror stories. I spent hours researching and vetting companies, struggling to find one with a decent reputation. Finally, I discovered United American on consumer advocate websites, where they were recommended as a top moving company in the U.S. Even after this, I double-checked. They are an actual moving company, not a broker, a positive sign compared to other brokers. The team they sent was great to work with, going above and beyond. I'm pleased I found them and would recommend them for anyone planning a move.

The move with United American Moving and Storage, was a bit pricey. The challenge arose when discussing storing my belongings with them. They explained it's like two moves – first to my home in Virginia, then into storage, and when I wanted it in Pittsburgh, it's like a second move with an additional cost. The truck drivers in Florida and Pittsburgh were excellent. This company was flexible, but I wish they could have handled storing my stuff instead of me keeping it in the sold house. Despite that, they were accommodating, which was positive.

I grew up in a military family, so moving out of state and overseas is nothing new to me. I've moved about 15 times in my life, having both good and bad experiences with movers. This time, I couldn't afford any issues or hidden fees, so I chose United American Moving And Storage, highly recommended by others. They were knowledgeable about the moving process, and my relocation coordinator, Diego, was friendly and provided helpful recommendations for planning.

The movers were punctual and did an excellent job packing and preparing everything. Luckily, I had no broken items, loss, or theft during the move. I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with United American Moving & Storage, and I am compelled to share my disappointment with their services. My interaction with this company left me feeling misled and taken advantage of, with a significant increase in the moving cost that was not only unjustified but also unprofessionally handled.

The trouble began when I was initially contacted by Dan, who claimed to work with United American Moving & Storage. Dan requested an inventory list of my large items for a move from California to Texas. I diligently provided the information, including an overestimation of medium to large-sized boxes as per his request.

The quote I received for my large items and the agreed-upon 25 boxes seemed reasonable at $1,797. However, just two days before the scheduled moving date, I received a call from a dispatcher named Roxy, informing me of a supposed discrepancy in my inventory list. According to Roxy, there were more items listed in the contract than in the list I provided. When I questioned this inconsistency, she mentioned that when they say "large," it could mean all items.

This sudden revelation resulted in a staggering 50% increase in the original cost, bringing the total to $2,631. I attribute this to Dan's questionable sales tactics, manipulating the process through vague questions and unclear terminology.

To make matters worse, attempts to reach Dan for clarification or resolution proved futile, as I could only communicate with Roxy. Despite feeling misled and slighted, when I requested a refund of my $700 deposit due to the discrepancies and dissatisfaction with the process, Roxy flatly denied my request, citing the proximity to the pick-up date.

The lack of accountability, unresponsiveness from key personnel, and the overall lack of transparency in their sales process make me strongly advise against using United American Moving & Storage. The seemingly "too good to be true" initial quote turned out to be exactly that – an illusion that ultimately led to an unpleasant and costly experience. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this company at all costs.

ANY positive review has most likely been done by an employee, a friend, or a relative of these criminals! Want proof? Go to YELP where they have several removed from names matching those in the company! They misrepresent themselves, get a deposit, and double the cost once it's too late... expecting YOU the customer to be able to give an accurate description of everything being moved, estimate on boxes, etc. knowing full well that you are naive with how their scam works! They have been reported to the Florida Attorney General for deceptive business practices, as well as the BBB! You will LOSE if you give them anything resembling money!

From the moment I booked United American Moving and Storage for our move, they were incredibly communicative and responsive to all of my calls and texts. On the day of the move, the team arrived promptly and wasted no time getting started. Upon reaching our new house, their first priority was ensuring that everything was placed in its correct spot. They were thorough and careful with all of our belongings. I would definitely recommend them and will be using their services again in the future.
