There were a few expensive items missing in the delivery and the delivery was delayed for more than 1month than their agreed timeline. Paid almost double than the original quotation. Highly disorganized and unprofessional. I do not recommend this company to anyone and do not do any business with them in future.

Totally Unprofessional

I hired True Maple to move myself from Ontario to BC. Right from pick up to an unsuccessful claim on damaged/missing items this company has been completely unhelpful. I was given a pick up window of between 4 and 6pm however they showed up before 1pm and were agitated I wasn't ready for them. They rushed me thru the packing of the last 3 boxes and hurriedly put everything on the truck and have you sign without reading. I was then told it was a 2 week time frame to get to final destination which took 3. Once again the movers were in such a hurry to unload that they damaged walls bringing in my things and as I was pointing out damages to my belongings they just kept saying it must have happened at the other end it wasn't them and they are not liable. When I asked about missing things as the manifest and what was dropped off didn't match they just said take it up with the claims department. When I called Emily about it, it took 3 times before a proper email address for a claim was given and when I finally filed the claim it took 2 months and follow up emails to get the response that even though costs claimed was over $2000 due to weight of items being under…

my move to New Brunswick

Mr Steven the supposed dispatcher called me Dec 24th telling me my things would be delivered Xmas Day when the planner who took my order told me Jan 6-8th. Mr Steven was EXTREMELY rude on the phone then told me he was bringing my things to a storage facility and now I will have to get another company to pick them up and bring them to New Brunswick. Mr Steven is having a bad day but is the rudest, most UN-professional person I have ever met in countless moves across Canada with Professional movers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you know what's good for you. There is little to no communication between booking and accounting with no phone number to reach accounting. A VERY UN-PROFESSIONAL COMPANU WHO HAS LEFT ME WONDERING WHERE OR WHEN OR IF I WILL RECIVE MY BELONGINGS.

Worst experience ever..... Their customer service seems nice until they get you in their hands and schedule your moving day, then when any issue arises they stop taking your calls... The despatcher was really rude two days before the scheduled moving date and even hung the phone on me. This was, because I was asking him about how to label boxes with fragile items ( the customer service lady previously told me that this is required), he denied all this and said that boxes are not to be labelled, only numbered by the movers and are all treated the same...he was so rude and hung the phone on me.

When calling the customer service, she didn't answer over two days...I chose to cancel and lost the down payment as I didn't trust them with my furniture and items any more.

Deceived us very last min with a bunch additional cost

We have email from your company (Emily King) mentioning all the services that would be provided which included door to door, room to room, paddings, dismantling and on the day of moving, we were given a bunch of extra cost in the name of the very services mentioned. All reps stopped receiving our calls when we want a solution or our deposit back. One person (Steven/Stephan) with whom I spoke with for resolution responded so rudely because I asked his name. This has caused us so much trouble and heartache as we have to vacate the house before end of the month. I am going to consumer court, never had such an experience in Canada.

Booked with Emily who we were told was the moving coordinator. Found out she is a glorified salesperson. Broke them through my husbands work. Was told they would not subcontract. Got a call the day before the move. They couldn’t make it. The truck that showed up the next day was a subcontractor with a too small truck. They also showed up at 1 pm to load a four bedroom , 1 office full double garage and 2 shed house. They knew there was still stuff to pack. Was promised a double crew plus packers. 3 men showed up and they didn’t even know they were supposed to pack. Of course not all the stuff fit in the truck. All afternoon they told us there was another truck. At 10 pm when the truck was full we asked where the other truck was. They told us they never said there was another truck. They told my husband a truck would arrive the next morning. We waited for a truck. My husband called. They said it was on its way at 9 am. It arrived at 7:30 pm. We were supposed to be out of the house by noon that day and we told them that. Finally they were done loading at 8:30 pm. Because they brought a too small truck we had to get a hotel room, we were also late signing papers for our new house so…

Terrible

I wish I could give them negative stars. Firstly, they were more than two hours late when coming to our house but that’s the least of what happened. They didn’t disassemble furniture even though they said they would and half of our furniture ended up damaged. At this point it’s 8pm and we are waiting at the new house which is only two hours away from where they are moving the stuff from , they call and say they’re broken down on the highway, they have also picked up thing such as computers and boxes with family photos that we explicitly told them not to take. We try to get in touch with them to find out where on the highway they are but they are dodging out calls at this point. About half an hour later they call and say they are at their “storage facility” and they want money to give us our stuff back. We go to the police and have them call and we find out where they are and we find them and take our valuables from their truck and they end up delivering our stuff at midnight. Even though they were supposed to put everything in the bedrooms they end up dumping everything in the garage in a pile leaving us to move all of our furniture upstairs. They lie about your weight and over charge and don't share the before after weight. We moved from Vancouver to Toronto, worst experience

Horrible

I never did receive my items. After MONTHS of zero to bare communication I contacted BBB and was told this company does not respond to them. Shortly after that I received an email from this company saying they “disposed of my things” it took six months to even find out where they were then another three months of run around asking me to send thousands of dollars above my quote to get my items. I lost all my kids childhood memories, my deceased mothers ashes…..it is heartbreaking what they did to me and so many others. They should be charged!

Terrible Movers

My stuff arrived damaged when it finally did arrive. I booked it home to get to the house first. I asked them directly if they were going straight to my house and they said yes. It was a lie they moved it to their “storage” facility in Toronto instead. They are the worst people to deal with. Believe the reviews they suck.

No follow up on lost items

I have used their services on a couple of occasions with no major issues but this last time they have lost a box containing 2 artwork pieces and when I let them know, they stopped answering my emails. I have been trying to contact them for months now and they don't even have the decency to get back to me. If they lose some of your stuff in the moving process, don't hold your breath on getting it back...

Extremely Pathetic Moving Company

I hired this company to move from Toronto to Halifax. The day they were supposed to pick up the stuff, they didn't turn up. Tried calling them and they will keep telling lies and talk rudely. Next day when they finally picked up next day. Then they found reasons to charge extra. Emily just conveniently disappeared and reused to pick up calls. She had promised that stuff will reach in 7 to 10 days. but stuff reached after almost 20 days. Tried calling them and they will say we don't know when it will reach. Now when finally things reached, we found that some stuff was missing and again tried calling them for 2 days and they just don't pick up the calls.

This is the worst moving experience. I have moved number of citied and countries but they are the worst.

Rude customer service/incorrect info

Delayed with picking up my stuff by 2 weeks, moving to different province and have to pay extra fees for storage, very rude customer service by sales person and company itself. Not even ready to listen to your problem and asked me to hire someone else. Lack of professionalism and honesty. Such a waste of time and energy. Her exact words were, "I am not god if it is delayed and if you have to pay storage fees, its' not my problem". Don't want to deal with them and don't EVER recommend them to anyone.

Moving review

Never and I mean never use this company!! They are extremely rude, unreliable, and provide absolutely no communication. One of the worst experiences of my life!!
