Superior Moving and Storage

I had previosuly used Superior Moving and therefore thought of them when it came time to move this time. Though the individual persons handling my furniture did an exceptional job I didn't find the overall experience as good as I'd expected.
I got the feeling that finances weere an issue with the company. They onyl dealt with credit cards (in advance), no checks of any sort (personal, money order, cashier, etc). Final payment had to be part cash and part credit card. It was a bit of a concern but so far nothing has happened on my cards.
My move was handled in two phases. First I had to move out of my sold home into storage. Once we had purchased a new home in another state we then had the goods reloaded on a truck wehre the y sat for two weeks before being delivered. That wait was of concern to me btu seems that all went well.
The only thing lost was a 2 wheel dolly which I think somewhere on the way the movers thought was theirs, so they kept it.

I contacted Michael at Superior Moving and he came out and gave me an estimate within 24 hours. I was moving from Ft. Lauderdale, FL to outside of Charleston, SC. Mike mentioned to me that if I was flexible he had another truck going to SC and so could give me a good rate if he added my furniture. I agreed and the price reflected this. Since my husband and I had decided to pack most of our belongings Superior gave us some moving boxes. The movers arrived on time, packed our lamps and pictures and helped us load the wardrobe boxes they gave us. Then when it was time to unload they were also on time. Everything went very smoothly and the movers were very courteous and accommodating. I would recommend Superior and would definitely use them again.

I cannot begin to say how awesome these guys were! They moved my familyi from Miami to Austin Texas, and everything was perfect! Usually with moving companies, they are either late, unprofessional, or lose items, but not with Superior. The estimate they gave me was spot on, and the movers were on time when they said they would be there! They were in and out of the house in little time, and were very friendly and courtious to myself and my family. Besides being friendly, they were also very professional, knowing exactly how much to estimate and asking where to put certain items. I highly recommend these movers, 5 stars!

My family recently used Superior Moving & Storage to move from Florida to Colorado. They provided us with a very professional and speedy estimate. Out of 5 companies interviewed, they were the friendliest and did the most follow up calls. We did our research and they have been in business a very long time and have a good reputation. When the movers arrived they did an awesome job and were very nice and polite. They wrapped everything really well and took care of our stuff like it was their own. I really have to applaud the actual movers, they did a great job. The truck got there a few days after the date they had promised, so we were a little upset about that but they explained weather conditions were the main cause. It wasn't bad, I have heard many horror stories where people are waiting weeks or months, so I guess I can't really fault them on that. All of our stuff arrived in perfect condition. I would rate them 4 and a 1/2 stars and would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

We used Superior Moving & Storage for our move from Parkland, Florida to Weston, Florida. They were very professional from the beginning and carried it all the way through the end. They did everything exactly as they said they would, which is a hard trait to find these days. One issue we found with other companies we checked out was that they didn’t want to put a lot of things into writing. They wanted us to sign a general waiver and that was it. Superior Moving & Storage was willing to put everything into writing, no tricky legal terms and no fine print! As I stated before we shopped around and we found their price to be fair and one of the best we received. The move was done carefully with consideration to all of our possessions. Needless to say we were very happy with Superior Moving & Storage. Since I know how hard it is to find an excellent and reputable moving company, I want to recommend them to my family, friends, and all of you that need any moving handled. I will definitely use them again when the time comes!

The guys at Superior Moving & Storage were really good. From the very start the girls in the office were friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions. The movers did a great job, very careful, on time and polite. They did a follow up call, after the move and asked us questions about how the move went. Everything went well, we were very happy with their services, and they asked us to share our experience by writing a review and telling others how they performed. Great company, fair prices, and on time delivery.

We originally had a bit of a concern with Superior Moving having a B rating and not an A with the BBB. Out of all the moving companies we interviewed Superior Moving was by far the most professional and impressed us at the estimate. When questioned about the B and not an A they really educated us. I was shocked to find out that a brand new company that has only been in business a short time receives an A rating with the BBB and then as they get complaints the rating goes down. When they pointed out the actual statement right on the BBB that said BBB takes into consideration only complaints and not the size or volume of the company, and in addition keeps the complaints on file for 3 years, again I was puzzled. I did my own research after the facts presented to me. Superior Moving is no doubt a large company, they have a lot of trucks. I visited the facility in the morning and there were trucks zipping out of the parking lot like bee's looking for honey.. There were lots of trucks, and it was run like a military operation. Being a Vietnam Vet myself, I saw organization and structure.. So after doing my research I figured that if this company could do this many moves, have that many employees and only have a handful of complaints they must be really really good. We felt confident after doing our research and we hired Superior Moving. They did a fantastic job, they were on time, they did exactly what they said they were going to do. I don't care what the BBB say's they are an A company. They definitely earned our respect and will get any referrals we have with friends and family moving.

I made the mistake of hiring another moving company because the price was much lower. Superior Moving & Storage warned me, that the job can't be done for the price, but I argued I had it in writing.. They disagreed and said good luck on your move. When the movers showed up they demanded more money to do the job, lucky for me we had a few days to get out of the house. So I turned them away, I immediately called Superior Moving, I was very humble and had to admit they were right and asked them to move me on short notice. They were eager to earn my business and didn't hold it against me for initially hiring the other company. They did a great job, they were very professional. I should have just hired them from the start. My gut instinct told me to hire them from the beginning, they were by far the best company out of all my estimates. However being on such a tight budget I choose the lowest price. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for!

We were really stressed about moving, fearful of picking one of the nightmare moving companies you read about holding your stuff hostage and charging more money then they promised. From the start of the move, the guys put us at ease, they were so nice and told us they had been working with Superior Moving for over 10 years and it was a great company to work for. They did everything the estimator promised us. They wrapped our furniture in moving blankets, and put our mattresses in mattress bags. They really used care in moving our items they did a great job, we are so glad we picked Superior Moving & Storage. We will definitely spread the word on how good they were.

Superior is hands down the best moving company in the country! I have used them for 15 years and on the few occations that Ive used another company I have regretted it. Superior is effiecient and their staff is courteous. I refer friends and business affliates to them all the time and have nevr heard a bad review. Our past move would have cost us $8000 to $10,000 dollars if we had used another company, Superior only charged us $5500 and they are better than all those other companies combined. If you are moving this is the company to use!

All I can say is, Amazing. Benny and Willie were GREAT! I was living on a second floor apartment and moved into a three story town home, they didn't even flinch. My boyfriend and I wanted to help but they had everything under control. We had left our things in our bedroom drawers and it wasn't a problem. They made the move quick and look easy. We were so thankful for how amazing the move went, I ordered pizza and water for the boys to take with them.  I would definitely use these guys again! Loved Superior Moving!

I will have to call them again when I need to move next time! They are absolutely the best! They were professional in every way. The owner worked with my budget. The sales ladies were knowledgeable and quick to respond. The driver ben and diesel, they are the best! I never had such a pleasant and relaxing moving experience in my life. I am talking about a 7-month-old baby and old parents and I am a single mom. We moved 250 miles in one day. Thank you guys, keep up the good work, I will call again in the future.

         I have a friend who owns and operates a moving business in South Florida. I’d obviously planned to use her company but she couldn’t accommodate my moving date. Superior Moving was one of three companies whose executives were/are sharp enough to check recent additions to  SoFla’s real estate lists to see who’s moving and who thus might need their serves. They mailed me a flyer. I responded, they sent out an estimator and beat the prices of the others. I “flip” my personal residences every few years as a business practice so I’ve had much experience with movers. The four people Superior sent, Benny, Dee, Anthony B and Richard, were terrific! They handled everything efficiently and smoothly and had a great attitude. They actually went beyond the call by staying on later than booked and even doing a small amount of packing at the end that I’d not gotten to. Not only would I not hesitate to use Superior again in the future, but I would specifically ask for the same four men.

This is my third move with Superior Moving Company. I decided to continue using this company due to thier outstanding professional customer service from the entire staff. The sales representative professionally discussed all the details and offered several options. The movere were very respectful,professional and extremely careful. The price was also very compatible.

The only item we were moving was an antique Steinway Concert Grand Piano. As you can imagine this is a very important piece to my family, and it has been passed down from many generations. We called several moving companies. From the moment we spoke to Superior Moving & Storage, we knew they were very experienced in piano moving. The website showed a logo for certified piano movers as well. The price was very steep for 1 item but we could not risk it not being moved the proper way. They arrived on the exact date, and did a tremendous job. They protected the piano better than if I were doing it myself. They explained as they went along the importance of the piano board and they knew exactly what they were doing. The piano arrived at our 2nd home in perfect condition. Definitely well worth the money, great service, and extremely professional team of movers.

I needed my office moved on short notice. I went online and did a search for Movers. Superior Moving was one of the companies with the best ratings. They appeared to be very professional and in business a long time. I was pleasantly surprised when I called them, the office was pleasant and they sent guys out the next day. Guys were great, very professional and moved quickly. I booked the job on an hourly basis and they worked quick and careful. Superior Moving was a life saver and gave me great service.

I needed to make a giant change - a FL to NJ kind of change. After askng a few friends, I was recommended Superior Moving and Storage. From the get go, Superior, was, well superior! Superior was extremely professional, and the guys did an amazing job. After giving them a call, Superior followed up with an estimate, provided me with some references and promised a good job at a reasonable price. They went above and beyond! They wrapped all of my furniture and charged me exactly what I was quoted. No hidden fees! They were on time for the pick up and delivered all of my things within the 5 days I had been quoted. I had the pleasure of working with Lawrence and Dwayne- they were my go to guys and made everything stress free!. 4 guys load up all my stuff and 2 made the delivery, all 6 were great guys!

From start to finish our move I April of 2014 was a resounding success! Our salesperson,Shana Lea was top-notch; professional and knowledgeable and very in tune with our needs.  We were quoted a price that never varied and which we thought was very reasonable. When it came to the actual move, our hero was Anthony Bradley.  Besides being professional and courteous he went out of his way to be sure  our furniture was placed properly. He even moved two large pieces of furniture twice, with a smile on his face.  And nothing was damaged!  You won't go wrong with these people or this company.  I have to admit to being extremely concerned about picking the right moving company, particularly in South Florida where you hear so many horror stories.  It was a pleasure in every way. Top notch service. Excellent experience from the first phone call to the last box unpacked. Spoke with Silvia on the phone, received an estimate from Shaina (spelling?) and the group of movers that were sent to my house were phenomenal. Not a scratch on anything, they handled my stuff like it was worth millions. They arrived ready to work and when my stuff arrived to my new house, they were exuberant and anxious to start unloading. definitely saving this company's info incase I ever need to move again.

I usd these guys based on the reviews. We'll all was OK at first. The problem started after load up. First off, communication was VERY poor. Driver would not tell me any estimate of delivery date and told me to contact the office. The office told me to contact the driver. We'll.. you get the point.
So, after they take my furniture I wait at in-laws house until the date I'm told by the office the furniture was supposed to arrive. I was 1000 miles away so I gave myself two days. I get 400 miles out and the company office then tells me it's going to be another 3 days!! Of course I loose it and tell them that's not acceptable because I'm already on the road and almost half way to my destination. Theoffice "manage" tells me the driver picked up some more stuff and had to drop off mine last because of my location. THIS WAS AFTER THEY PROMISED ME A FIRM DATE. The final straw was when the manager said she got permission from the owner that id I pay $1500 in cash then the driver can drive an additional 150 miles to drop my furniture off a day early!! I literally would have killed them if I could have gotten my hands on them.
Bottom line is that they are horrible. Also, several items were damaged and they scratched the wood floors in several places when moving in. They sent me a claim form and agreed to give me a whopping $25.00 for damages and I had to get the form notorized!! Wasn't even worth it to me. To top it off, the owner would NEVER even get on the phone with me because he was too much of a punk and hid behind the ladies in his office.

My family and I recently moved from New York to Florida. Superior Moving did a great job. The truck arrived to pick up and deliver our furnishings on the dates the promised. The moving guys were very nice and did a good job moving our items. They were very careful and definitely knew what they were doing. True professionals and a great bunch of guys. They were very helpful and were there when you needed them. I would definitely recommend Superior Moving to anyone we know. .

This company did an awesome job helping me and my family to move. Due to having to relocate for a new job, I needed a company that would be able to help us move in less than a week. The staff was friendly and responded to my every need. They were also very careful with all of our furniture. They were professional and made sure I was happy with the way things were going. They understood my current situation and worked quickly to ensure everything was done in a timely fashion. I am very satisfied with this company and would recommend them.  .

We have used Superior Movers several times in the past and decided to get an estimate from them on our long distance move to Georgia. We interviewed 3 moving companies. One we tossed in the trash, it was obvious they were going to cheat us. We did further investigating and that company had horrible reviews. On the DOT website they had a ton of complaints (30) to be exact. No wonder they tried to sell the job so cheap. Superior seemed more reputable. We chose Superior and they were great. The estimate was on point and the exact quote they gave us, not a penny more. The guys were very professional and arrived on time. Success!
