Shleppers Moving & Storage

1 bedroom move from Brooklyn to Queens.  The moving team from Shleppers arrived right on time and had me in my new apartment by early afternoon with nothing damaged or missing. The movers took special care with all of my furniture, boxes, and books, and were professional and incredibly efficient with the move. All 3 movers were polite and great at taking care of everything including wrapping art, furniture, and stacking boxes while being careful of anything marked fragile. This was my 2nd time using Shleppers and I was not disappointed, would happily use them again.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $675

Schleppers recently moved us from our one bedroom apartment in Midtown East to our 2 bedroom apartment in the upper east side. My wife and I were extremely pleased with how great and professional this company was. From the initial consultation to the last box that was brought up the movers were very respectful, clean, and got the job done quickly. They were like a well oil-machine and really made the move seamless. I have already recommended them to a friend of mine who will be moving in a few months. I would definitely use them again the next time I move.

My experience with them was so great I highly recommend them. They was on time, very friendly. They made my experience so comfortable all the packing was done in front of me all my expensive products was secure and pack safely. The workers was super friendly they spoke and explain very detailed oriented. They was fast but very sufficient. I couldn't have ask for a better moving company. I will definitely use them all the time for my moving and storage. Price was good.

Moving is one of the most stressful things to do, but Shleppers really helped make the process hassle-free. From the moment I requested a quote online through the end of my move, Shleppers provided a seamless and stress-free moving experience. They provided the cheapest quote and honored the price; Shleppers provided all of the necessary documents (mainly the certificate of insurance) to the apartment buildings I was moving out of/into; the movers arrived on time and completed the work in a timely fashion; there was no damage to any of my furniture or the apartments I moved out of/into; the movers were really friendly, professional and patient; Shleppers promptly followed-up prior to my move, during my move, and after my move. Again, I cannot stress how easy they made my moving experience and I highly recommend them!

The women in the office were so lovely and helpful with booking the move and getting the proper documents to all the buildings. The men who helped us move and pack were absolutely amazing. They were kind, treated us and our belongings with the utmost respect, and really just went above and beyond with everything they did. I cannot believe my experience. I am just so impressed! Shleppers made such a stressful event (moving and packing in NYC!) into a wonderful and positive experience.

I move more than most folks - upper east side, midtown, upper east side, New Jersey -.all in less than three years.

Shleppers is my go-to movers. They are professionals who are efficient, pleasant, do what they are supposed to do on time and for a fair price. They also stored my stuff.

The building manager at my latest move said Shleppers is the most
professional company re insurance docs, "Nomproblem, with them ever."

Yet, my love affair with Shleppers might be over. In September they moved me into my new apartment. Perfect! I plan to remain here forever - no more bouncing around from zip code to zip code.

Now if only Shleppers helped with the decorating.

I have always heard Shleppers was a great company to move you, that might be the case for local deliveries. I moved out of State and my belongings were lost and damaged. My dining room table ( not a small item) was lost for over a month and then I was told it was on its way back to NY in a truck. It was delivered, damaged, a few weeks later. three of my dining room chairs were also broken as well as the server that matched the rest of the dining room, which had a 4 inch hole in the back of it. My 2 love seats were filthy and covered with the grime and grease that seemed to cover all of my furniture, lamps were broken, boxes of office supplies were lost ( over $2,000. worth) and all in all my move turned into a nightmare! To add icing to the cake, the owner of Shleppers called me dishonest and insulted me because I held back a portion of the payment for this nightmare. Besides thousands of dollars worth of damage and additional thousands in losses the man had the gall to insult me. I am not inclined to refer Shleppers to anyone unless you like to be disappointed and insulted and have to replace some of your most coveted possessions. No Shleppers is not a company I would recommend.

Yesterday my 86 year old father moved from his home to an apartment and we hired Schleppers Movers based on other reviews. They made the entire experience extremely easy and were total professionals from beginning to end. The 2 movers showed up early, were extremely courteous, quick, respectful, took excellent care of my fathers possessions and furniture, packed everything carefully and were very helpful with getting settled in his new place. I recommend Schleppers without reservation for any of your moving needs, big or small and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again should the need arise. They are top notch..
