Shleppers Moving & Storage

I learned of Shleppers from a high recommendation. I moved from Mahopac, NY to Yonkers NY recently. While moving can become quite stressful the guys at Shleppers did a fantastic job from start to finish. The foreman and crew were courteous and cautious with all of my belongings. Even when I offered to help out they said they would do it and for me to relax.

I was pleased with how smooth everything went. I would recommend Shleppers to anyone who is moving. It was a pleasure, thanks again!

I had great experience with Shleppers and would highly recommend. Relocation consultant was extremely professional and provided very fast reply at anytime. Our buildings needed insurance satisfication and those were done very smoothly as well. On the day of move, movers were very nice and took care of every item very well. It was snowing outside but they wrapped all of the items very well. They were extremely quick, on time, and professional. We expected additional couple hours to have the move done but they were way faster than expected.

Let's be honest..everybody hates moving! That being said, hiring shleppers made everything so much easier. I contacted the company via their online form and in less than 2 min I got a call back. Eliza the moving consultant was super helpful. The movers showed up on time, reviewed the inventory with me and immediately got to work. In less than 3 hours these guys moved my one bedroom apt to a 4th floor in a walk-up building. I rarely write reviews but these guys really deserved to be recognized! BRAVO!

We have now used Shleppers twice. One local move into storage, and one long distance move to another state. Both moves are in the part one phase. In a few months we will retrieve the items that were stored locally, and we are currently waiting to receive the truck from the long distance move. So far, the gentleman were professional, pleasant, calm and efficient! No furniture was damaged and they negotiated tough turns and tight corners well when moving large pieces. I hope I can add to this review when we receive all of our things safe and sound.

From the first phone call through the move completion, this move went smoothly. With the prospect of moving into Manhattan via the George Washington Bridge, my wife suggested Schleppers: "they've been around for 40 years. There must be a reason for their longevity." She was correct. The move was efficient and fast, considering the known horrors of Manhattan traffic density, bus stops, and alternate side parking- all was wonderful. The set-up within the apartment by the moving team was excellent.We agree with the Ben Franklin quote about "the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten." We still cannot forget a previous negative move with a different moving company. We are grateful we found Schleppers.

In a year or two, we will use Schleppers again to move within Manhattan. We can't imagine using another mover.

Shleppers was great. The move went so smoothly. Less than an 2 hours in each location, they handled all of my furniture with care, nothing was damaged, and the process was smooth and simply.

Even with limited parking in Hoboken, and a bus accident in the lincoln tunnel, they still managed to complete my move in an amazingly short period of time.
