My 2 moves with the same team were very good. I dealt with Shannan and she is professional and very helpful. Just let her know what your needs are and she will find a solution for you. My movers, Marvin and the team, are smart and hard working. What great packers! I felt that they took care of my belongings. The price was good and I would use this company again with this team.
My experience storage wasn't that great. You get charged if you want to take any items out. But you get a helper or two. Not cost effective if you need a small item. But maybe that's the norm? It was very hard to get in touch with the accounting department. My monthly bill fluctuated a few times and no one could give me a direct response as to why. Plus it was very expensive. I am happy that I am out of their storage and not paying that bill anymore.

My fiance and I had bought a new house in another town and needed to move both my 1 bedroom apartment and his studio apartment contents to the new house on a single day. The Shleppers experience for our move was great. I had an in home estimate appointment within a day of calling, received a reasonable price quote, and then was able to efficiently manage the insurance certificate required by our co-op buildings and the booking and payment via email and web. On the day of the move, the team showed up on time, was very pleasant, and worked through the move very quickly and efficiently. They even faced an early unexpected elevator breakdown and 90 degree weather without any complaint. I'm very happy we did our 2-stop move with Shleppers. It was beyond what I would've expected for good service and I will gladly use Shleppers again for any future moving needs.

I just recently moved my 3 bedroom apartment with Shleppers. We had a team of 4 guys. The guys were really friendly, helpful, and efficient. I couldn't believe how fast they loaded up the truck and did it all while protecting all the furniture and moving with care. We moved to a single family home with stairs and they easily moved the heavy furniture up the stairs on a very hot day with ease. No damage and they were very thoughtful and considerate to where everything went. Our tv cord was misplaced during the move (not taken out of the box) but with an email to customer service they found the cord and one of their trucks delivered it the next day. I had a great experience with Shleppers and they really relieved the stress that I was feeling about moving. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move and will definitely use them again in the future.

I have used Shleppers before. Most recently I used them on May 16, 2017. Once again, they were very efficient and professional. They were due at my old apartment between 8 and 9am. They were actually there by 7:45am, and had all my stuff out of the apartment by 9:00! At the new apartment, there were some challenges for them such as parking, small elevator and another tenant was moving out from the same floor at the same time!! But this didn't matter. My Shleppers movers continued to be hard-working and professional and were completely done with my move by 10:30am!!

Move size: Studio Service cost: $800

Moving is a stressful process even under the best of circumstances. My move happened on a day when it poured, and so I was anticipating a less-than-excited crew to arrive. When they showed up, Felix, Shan and the driver were all in great moods and ready-to-rock! In fact, throughout the day there was a lot of laughing and smiles, and NEVER one complaint.

In terms of the items I had to move, I had packed most of the one-bedroom apartment myself but there were a few fragile items they had to handle. Each one was carefully wrapped by Felix (the foreman) himself) including an antique mirrored desk. Felix took his time and wrapped each leg in blankets, and then added even more protection by crafting a box for each individual leg from a larger cardboard box. It was clear to me that Felix and Shan took their jobs seriously, and executed each move with a great deal of care and concern for my belongings.

On the move-in end, the driver had to double park on a somewhat narrow NYC street. And wouldn't you know it, that day, a bus, a fire truck and another moving van had to pass, meaning that he had to circle the block numerous times - again he did this without complaint.

We had also had the walls painted before we moved in, and I was sure that somewhere along the way, someone would nick the new paint. When I told this to Felix he pulled his team aside and made sure they new to avoid the freshly painted walls - I was happy to see at the end of the move, not one mark was made on the walls. They also asked where to put each box in the new place to avoid my having to move them later.

To sum this up, Felix and his crew moved everything without breaking even one item, with scratching the floors or walls, and without once complaining. I have had similar experiences with Shleppers in the past and will continue to use and recommend them to my friends and family who need to move.

I heard about Shleppers from my aunt, who used them for moving to her new house. She had only great things to say about the company, and she was right! I've done two moves now with Shleppers, and both times were hassle-free and exactly what you would hope for from a moving company. They are prompt, careful, and thorough, and they always make sure that you get exactly what you want in terms of packing, moving, and unpacking. Shleppers employees are very nice and easy to work with. This includes employees in sales, customer service, and the moving them themselves. Will definitely call Shleppers again for my next move!

As a repeat customer, we hired Shleppers for our move from a NYC apt to our house in CT. We received a quick quote over the phone that was comparable to others that took much longer to generate. The crew was terrific. We moved the Friday before Memorial Day. What should have been a 3 hour drive took 5 hours for the truck. We needed a desk to go upstairs. When the first desk didn't fit the narrow stairs, the crew cheerfully took apart another desk. It was a long day, yet the crew made sure that we were satisfied and didn't complain about the unexpected challenges. They worked so hard and quickly.

We had a wonderful experience with Shleppers. I'm so glad we chose them! Steve was wonderful, very responsive by email and did a wonderful and thorough walkthrough of our apartment in NYC. We had questions about the quote, even an item to add on, and he was always courteous and extremely helpful, never impatient. That meant a lot to us. The quote was reasonable compared to other quotes we received. We chose Shleppers because of my cousin's recommendation, Steve's responsiveness, and the reasonable price.

We had a two-day move. Mike, Bergo, and Dimitri came to our home on the first day, 9:00am on the dot. They were absolutely lovely boys. So polite, organized, and energetic to get the work done! They labeled boxes for us, asked questions, etc. Most importantly, they were careful with our things! Each dish was wrapped individually, all delicate items were handled with care, and nothing seemed too inconvenient for them. We're so grateful for this fantastic team of people.

The guys finished packing on the first day. On the second day, they drove the full moving truck straight to the new house in NJ and unloaded the truck, asking us to direct them as necessary (to the basement, garage, and certain rooms in the house itself). Again, everything was done very well.

I've already recommended Shleppers to three of my friends. I really appreciated Steve and the team of guys (Mike, Bergo, and Dimitri) who worked so hard packing and moving us. Excellent work.
