Damage To Property & Ripped Off On Charges After Quote

Horrible Service. An employee of safebound moving and storage did a walk through with me via facetime and quoted a price and said they could take all my property. They charged me double the shipping he quoted and damaged my $3,000 zero gravity agronomical bed and large tv and stand. The men who dropped and re-assembled did it all wrong and had NO RESPECT for my property. Wish I would have read all these reviews on them first. The gave me a low quote and then doubled it and there was no choice by then when they had my property. BEWARE!!! The bed TV needed an allen wrench and he used a screw gun so everything is lopsided and unsecure and you can't get the screws out. The bed frame is ripped in 2 places and the wires are just hanging so the electrical part does not work now. Betty Westberry they transported my property from Florida to Michigan. Horrible horrible horrible.

They lied from the beginning and don't have much hope for any insurance claim to help. What else could you expect.

Worst Service

In the procedure, they were cordial, but afterward, they lied and charged me $2500. Before relocating, the movers examined my couch and found no issues. They then admitted that they were the cause of the damage and informed the insurance company that the couch was destroyed during the transfer. Insurance does not, therefore, cover the $2500 replacement value.

SCAM.

I was with my friend the day she was moving and they were so egregiously bad and crooked, I had to do a review myself.

Let’s start off with OVER $12,000 DOLLARS WORTH OF ITEMS STOLEN. BEWARE!

Chris is one of the most unprofessional individuals I came across as I was present for the phone calls, and they blocked my friend’s number from the company so she wouldn't ask for her stolen items. Took 42 days to deliver her remaining items and they all arrived broken. I was even with her in her new location and can confirm she had none of her belongings. It was nefarious behavior at this point.

They stole:

1. Her bed

2. Her mattress

3. Expensive shoes

4. 75 inch TV

5. Several antiques

6. Crystal vanity

7. Crystal Mirror

8. Crystal Diamond coffee table

We have ALL the paper work and she has to call from different numbers so they can speak to her. Last thing they told her was "If we had your items we would have told you so, invest in an air mattress". She did the claims process like they said and they had the nerve to offer her only $300 dollars for her claim. Pertinent authorities will be contacted. I’m positive these reviews are actually bought or bots. SCAM.

Damaged furniture

The move went ok but there was some minor damage to a few pieces. We completed all the necessary paperwork with CSI their party claims company and signed release documents on12/20/2023for $57.60 to be paid by SafeBound. As of today 3/21/2024 have not received payment. Multiple phone calls(currentlyat12) voicemails and emails over the last 2 months. They have even blocked my phone number and refused to answer so my husband called from his phone and they again promised check would be issued but nothing. Do NOT use this company.

Moving with thebest

I cannot say enough about the experience I had with Safe Bound moving & storage company this week. First off, Rubio and Dave were exceptional. These guys unloaded the truck without a break! Worked very hard for several hours. And they were very professional and helpful as to where place the furniture.

We highly recommend this company, you won’t regret it.

These reviews can't be legit

This has to be one of the worst companies, although it seems most of them in Florida have a scam going on. I called a "moving" company to get a quote. Salesperson says all the right things and when I ask point black if this is moving company or a broker, he said they were a moving company. That was the first lie although didn't find out until a few days afterwards. When I called second time to cancel, I was on the hook for $600 to cancel. The "moving" company they contracted to was terrible reviews, so they switched to another company. But the reviews from Safebound was terrible as well, and the google reviews were fictitious. When Safebound came for pickup, they charged me 45% more than quoted. The original quote was $3700 and now I was being charged $5800. I had just moved to Florida 7 months ago, knew what I had inventory wise. I was able to remove 7 boxes (MD & LG) from the count, which should have made it less expensive, not more. At pickup location, claimed it was all packed into a nice truck with lines painted on the ceiling, and would be on its way in a day or so. Not. I found out that it went to a warehouse for weeks. They didn't give me a call for timing. Late Friday afternoon three weeks later, the driver called to deliver tomorrow, a Saturday when know one was going to be there. Had to scramble to try to make it work, as they said it was costing me more money. The driver was definitely a contractor as well as the truck. The system was all designed to manipulate people and extort more money from every opportunity. And those lines on the ceiling of the truck, are false. The cubic feet is not legit and typical moves for 1, 2, 3 bd apt have standard cubic feet. Look them up on any website for how big a truck you need. Their lines would be a third or less than a typical move. Note, I worked for our family moving co in CA and I can see how Safebound is baiting and switching customers with pricing.

Fantastic Job

Moving a long way down I95 from Savannah to West Palm, I picked Safebound. Their team, man, they were something else. Long drive, but they handled it. They were pretty careful with my things, which I appreciated. Had a little issue with the scheduling, got a bit delayed, but their communication was on point, kept me in the loop. The pricing was a bit confusing at first, but got sorted in the end. Overall, for the distance and all, they did a fantastic job

If your moving, this is your company. Guys were careful and even moved an 1100 lb safe to a house in the middle of the mountains. I researched a lot of companies and it was the best choice.

Amazing Experience!

We found Safebound Logistics at the last minute because of a mishap with our closing and it was the best decision! They were so professional and quick! They were able to move us out of one house and into our new house in less than 8 hours. I would recommend this company to everyone I know! They made our moving experience pleasant and easy!

Reviews these guys twice now for both in office move and for our residential move out of state. Fast and Affordable.

Safebound was great to work with during our move. They showed up right on time and had our home loaded on the truck in just over 3 hours. Everything arrived at our new home right on time and was all there. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
