I wish I could say something positive, but I can’t find the words. This company never moved us on the schedule date. They never showed up. I wouldn’t let them move a doghouse. Lied from the beginning and no one would help from sales department to dispatching. No return call after their contractor called the Friday before to let me know he couldn’t do the move. Called dispatching, they never called back after promising to, called sales department & they too promised to call me back. But they still have my deposit and I scrambled 3 days in a row to rent a truck, tow trailer and labor on both ends of the move. This company says so much and doesn’t follow up or make the right compensation for not coming through. Booked them in April with the salesperson promising it was not an issue to move my belongings at the end of June. Very disappointed customer. And when I tried to get my money the dispatcher said they showed up and spoke with my neighbors and the neighbors told them we left. On 6/29 my 78 year old mother and I ended up moving the remaining items out of our garage into a tow trailer and was out of our sold house round 2 pm. So on the 28 we were home and on the 29th we were there until 2 in the afternoon. I drove the moving truck and my mother drove my Jeep and trailer to SC and didn’t get there until after midnight. I’m proud of us and our unbelievable accomplish while this company let us down.

Moving can at best be a trying experience, but two individuals, Michael and Tomas with Safebound Moving and Storage, made it a good experience. Both men have exceptional work ethics and seem willing to do anything to make the customer happy. My hat is off to them and to the others at Safebound, who made the move, one of the best my wife and I have had. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a competent mover for either a small or large move, intra or interstate.

PIRATES!! They will be soo courteous and professional as they give you a very reasonable, lowball estimate and take your Non-Refundable deposit. The day they show up to move you, all bets are off. The price of your move will increase exorbitantly. Mine went from $7K to $17K!! Now you’re stuck. Pay or lose your deposit and be left without a mover on your moving day! As if that is not bad enough, your final payment is due in cash or a money order. The system is designed to rob you! Oh and they will beat the hell out of your furniture and not assemble anything. Don’t be a victim. This is a ROGUE mover!!

To begin with, yes the estimator was very nice and accommodating over the phone, until the deal was done; then I could never reach him again. We worked up the estimate from actual photos I had, room-by-room, and with much discussion. My cross-country move from Florida to Kansas City area was estimated at approximately $3,900 but, the final bill when it was all done was $9,600. I was totally stuck by then.

I used their packing expertise with their materials and the cost was nothing short of outrageous. Everything was packed and moved out of my house on March 3rd to their local storage facility in Florida. I sought delivery and move-in on March 11th but it did not occur until March 19th, and I had to keep calling them to get "an update". All my furnishings had sat in a warehouse for approximately 2 weeks! At that point they kept telling me that the "window" for the delivery could be up to 21 days - which that most certainly wasn't explained up front.

They had loaded the semi trailer for the long distance move with several much heavier boxes on top of much lighter ones, there was a crushing and shifting effect, and several things got damaged/broken.

Yes the move got accomplished in the end as one of their responders suggested was clearly the criteria for a successful job but, only after a very costly and trying experience (not "successful" in my book).

According to my experience with them overall, I'd recommend NOT using this company.

As soon as they got my deposit, I couldn't contact them again. My husband specifically asked if they were a broker, and they said something like, "our people move your things," which is incorrect. Another moving company, Atlantis Van Lines showed up in an Enterprise truck a day later than quoted. Jennifer's contract was now unable to be viewed (sketchy), and AVL was saying my stuff could take 21 BUSINESS DAYS to arrive when the initial contract showed 7-11 days. I had to call so many times just to get updates and continued to be told, "it should be loaded tomorrow." multiple times. Each time I didn't hear anything, I had to call them and wait for at least 20 minutes each time to get the same response, "I don't know." Another Enterprise truck showed up today and I was told to pay "Global Moving LLC." They assigned ONE mover, so he was dragging our mattresses through our house. I feel taken advantage of and this was a total bait and switch. I will never be using any of these companies again and will encourage everyone I know not to use them either.

I do not recommend this company to anyone be careful they did my move their employees stole my daughter's purse and diamond earrings I called the police they arrived we looked for the purse and it did not find it the next day I find the purse in the trash the earrings I never find them later the police called me to inform me that one of the employees had a warrant for arrest and by the way they lost the screws to my room set and The only thing the company did was charge the money to my credit card without authorization which I had to let my bank and my lawyer know and I sent them a email requesting the signed authorization for the card and they never got back to me so people please be careful with this company

If I could give a zero star I would. Don’t use this company. Every step of the move is a surprise extra fee. (Began $3k by end of move over $7k). They only delivered part of my things, said they couldn’t find them, then there was a 2nd delivery, still missing many things and they made no effort to find them or have any system in place for checking they have your delivery complete. I filed a claim with their insurer CSI for missing & damaged things, they offered me $93! The boxes cost that much!

Nightmare of a company! Stay clear! They take your money, lots of it & refuse to be accountable for your losses that their company created.

WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD

If you want to make your moving experience a nightmare this is the place to call!

I have used many moving companies in the past when moving military bases and between states and even locally. This is by far the worst experince ive ever had. I got quoted around $600-$700 for a 3 hour move of a 1/1 with basically everything packed in boxes already. My new location was only 8 miles away. I had my move set for 3PM on a wednesday. It was my only day off that I was able to move thats why I scheduled for that day. They delayed to 5:30, so I started moving the essentials by myself and all of my dogs essentials. They then delayed to 7:30, until eventually they said they wont be able to come in until the next afternoon. At this point I was tired and extremely upset so I had to sleep on the floor of my new apartment because I wasnt going to move everything back. The moving crew arrived the next day and took around 4.5 hours to move everything. I was getting ready to go to work when i recieved the call of them telling me the elevator broke down with the last of my stuff inside. They said they could wait but I would be charged for the time. I had to drive back to the old apartment and get the maintenance person on it. The HOA sent the technician and told me that the moving company was responsible for the elevator damages.(im guessing they held the door too long or got something stuck or exceeded weight limit.) After they moved "all" of my things in my new apartment the final bill was around double of my quote. They didnt even apply my deposit. Apparently they werent even supposed to charge me until it got to the office but the truck driver decided to do it anyway so who knows if my credit card information is even secure. Customer service on the phone was horrible and it took 2 days of back and forth dials for them to "fix" the issue. I figured they would offer some sort of discount to make things right. They offered me $25 towards my bill if I left a good review. Which im pretty sure is against google policy.

I am now convinced all of there good reviews come from a $25 discount, not because the service was actually good. Beware these scammers.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $900

I thought this was going to be an easy move given how things started so positive. However, my items were delivered in terrible condition, I was rushed through the delivery only to notice 6 items missing after the driver left. I informed the driver about one box (which as it turns out, he had on his truck and didn't deliver). I contacted Safebound right away and did not hear anything other than file my complaint with Support@safebound.com. They referred me to CSIpros to resolve my complaint. Such a joke! All reviews speak to their unprofessional handling of complaints. Ultimately I was blamed by Safebound for not writing what was missing while the driver was still at my house. He never counted the items to match them against the inventory sheet and I was busy watching his partner mishandling my boxes all over my house. They could not have left fast enough. The driver text me after arriving to their last drop off that he had one of my boxes in his truck. I asked where he was taking it. No response. No response directly from Safebound to say they were even looking for my missing items in spite of having the yellow tag numbers and pictures of what was missing. No calls have been returned. They have my items and I want them back and will pursue this until I get them back.

Watch this company! They will not help you when you most need it.

I got a video quote and went through everything in my house. When our moving day came they showed up 4 hours late and told us it would be 3 times more. We almost sent them away, but we couldn't find another truck last minute or any manpower. So we decided to use them anyway, BIG MISTAKE!

They loaded our truck but didn't fit everthing in! We had to put over $6000 of stuff on the curb! When they dropped off our stuff we had another $500 of random charges and they wouldn't give us our stuff unless we paid. Then, after unpacking, we discovered they lost an important piece of our $5000 entertainment center.

We have called their customers service team over 50 times and spent over 20 hours on the phone with them. Not one dollar in compensation for anything that happened!!!

DO NOT HIRE THEM. They are unethincal.
