Very professional. I hired Safebound Logistics for my move very recently. Right from the quote process to delivery of my goods was very prompt and handled very well by the team.

The quote provided to me one of the best and reasonable I had received ( I had quotes from 5 other vendors). They agreed for a 2 day pick up window and 2 day delivery window which most of the others vendors dint agree to.

On the pick up day the guys turned up on time and they handled all my stuff with utmost care and ensured that all the goods were packed and furniture properly padded.

I had also taken the storage option (of 30 days) for my goods. They were very prompt to reach out to me 2 days before the delivery and inform me about the delivery and the driver details.

On the day of delivery the guys were again on time and ensured that all my stuff was unpacked and furniture assembled in my new house.

The best part was they accepted credit card for all the payments and the final amount came out to be very close to the original quote they provided.
Overall, I was very much satisfied with their service and I would recommend them to all my friends.

I recently used Safebound Logistics service for long distance moving. From beginning to end, this was a very good experience. My move was pretty simple but anything could have made it complicated. Felipe in the office was extremely helpful and courteous in setting up the move date and afterwards. I had a quote within an hour or less of calling, I can't say that for the other movers I called. The moving crew were on time and fast! Super pleasant and helpful. Yes I would definitely use them again and recommend to friends and family. Worth every penny, and they were well priced.

Safebound Logistics are true professionals. They were friendly and efficient in their duties as well as great at listening to our concerns and needs. Working on a private Super yacht, we require a high professional level of service and these guys went above and beyond. At every stage of the move, they were quick, courteous and very professional especially when dealing with high end furniture. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company who is not only bang on the buck but reliable, friendly and used to dealing with high end goods.

We are in the middle of a horrible standoff with this company. We hired them for a crosscountry move based on all the positive reviews here, but it's been a disaster. They provided us a binding estimate and promised they would pack, move, and store our stuff. We did a detailed video chat with them to show them every corner of our stuff and discuss packing needs in depth.

On the first day, everything was going to get packed, and the next day loaded on the truck. The movers showed up and everything seemed great. They were efficient and friendly. They kept asking if we wanted certain items packed in cardboard or not. By the end of the first day, they said they were running out of boxes and would need to come the next day. We offered to run to the store to get some more boxes, but they said they could just bring the next day.

They came back the next day with the truck and started loading everything us. The foreman told us we needed to sign an amended estimate for --- wait for it ---- nearly $5000 more than the binding estimate. How could this be? All those cardboard boxes.. $25 bucks or more a pop. So when they wrapped dining table top in about 8 boxes, that was an extra $200. The bottom wrapped in cardboard, another couple hundred bucks worth of cardboard.

Looking at the revised estimate closer, we realized that we weren't even talking to Safebound anymore. they had sent us a completely different company called Budget Moving, a one-star moving company with an F on BBB and tons of complaints. Safebound had NEVER told us they were subcontracting and we never would have approved Budget.

We told the Budget foreman that we would work out pricing differences with Safebound and could not sign the new terms. The foreman told us if we didn't sign they would leave 1/3 of our stuff on the curb and drive off with the rest. He knew that we were closing on our house and needed to be out the next day. I signed the new contract, but crossed off many of the bogus charges and other terms.

At this point, the Budget guys became aggressive with our stuff and started throwing it around and dragging it on the floors. They completely scratched up the hardwood floors. We were so embarrassed for the new owners to see what happened to their beautiful house.

I called Safebound several times that day and the next week to complain, but never got any meaningful response. When they did respond, they said they were standing by their subcontractor. They offered $1000 off the inflated price and would see if they could send someone to fix the floors. But they continued to claim we had 100 more items than in their video conference inventory, now using the subcontractors counting scheme. Over the video conference with Safebound, a King Bed was one item. Now, Budget Moving counted it as seven items - a mattress, a box spring, a frame, and four sides of the bed itself. Multiple that by every piece of furniture and it's easy to see where the "extra" 100 items come from.

We are terrified they are going to keep our items hostage, or it's all going to come back busted. I will update this review when we get out stuff back. I hope it all is resolved, but I want to warn others in the meantime! Proceed with caution!

We had an excellent experience with Safebound Logistics. We called a number of different companies knowing that it can be a headache to find a good moving company. These guys came out on top, they were the friendliest and most helpful. The rates were reasonable too.

My wife's father recently passed away and we had to move some of his belongings from Florida to Wisconsin (40+ boxes in total). The items were at two locations. This was a very emotional time for my wife and the thought of going through this moving process was a big stress for her. Right from the start, the team at Safebound Logistics were kind and understanding of our situation. They showed great patience and professionalism when we called a few times to change out some of the items and add additional boxes at the last minute. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them.

All of the items arrived in perfect condition and the driver/mover was very careful when unloading the truck. He was also very polite and professional. I would highly recommend using this company for your moving needs!

I want to thank Safebound for agreeing to move me quickly after the original company cancelled at the last minute leaving me with a house full of staff and no where to go. They were all great guys! From the office team to the movers, I could not be more happy. Worked really hard and fast, and took care of my items as if they were there own. Very friendly and listened to what my needs were and even offered additional help if I needed it. Got along with each other and stayed late into the evening to get the job finished. Thank you for being so easy to deal with! They are the definition of hard work and customer service all wrapped into one. If I could, I would give them an 11/10 for the work they did and the way in which they did it. Nice to know there are services available in local area with local companies that aim to exceed expectations and earn the business. I will use them again and highly recommend their services to anyone looking to make a move.

My family and I just relocated from Lake Worth to Jacksonville and couldn’t be any happier. It all started with a google search for movers in our area. Safebound was fairly local so my wife decided to call. Michael came our to our home that same day for an assessment. We explained our situation and he assured me that we were in good hands. When you search the web, there is nothing but horrific stories in this industry. We were anxious, nervous, but felt secure with Michael.

The moving process exceeded our expectations. My wife is the writer in the family- but I said, I was voicing my opinions! Every little details we were told happened. No surcharges, no hidden fees, games, nothing. We picked a not to exceed price- and that's exactly what it was. Im thankful to God that there are still honest people in the service industry. I work in the armed forces and have recommended Safebound to my superiors. Thank you to Michael, the crew, and even Liz in the office. God bless you guys.

We were referred to SafeBound from a family friend that had used them before after my husband was suddenly relocated to the Boston area for work. I was a little hesitant at first seeing that it was on such short notice and me being as meticulous as I am when it comes to my home/family items. I have to say though that from the very outset the gentleman that did the home estimate was extremely courteous and professional and took the time to adequately address both my concerns as well as my family's most cherished possessions. I'm sure I drove him crazy with all of my relentless questions about the cost, care and specific time that my things would arrive but he took it all in stride and assured me that I wouldn't have to worry about a thing once the big day arrived, and I have to say he was right. On the day of the move I was a nervous wreck, especially because my husband had already left, but the movers arrived right on time, they were actually a little early which I loved, and took the time to explain to me the process instead of just barging in and empyting the house out as fast as they could. Hopefully they didn't see me biting my nails throughout the day, praying that they didn't drop/scratch the amoire that my grandmother left me or my husbands big screen TV God forbid, but I have to say they treated everything like it was their own, like they knew the importance of what these things meant to me, and for that I am extremely thankful. After we flew up North my heart was still pounding as to the number of things that could go wrong through such an intricate process, but I have to say our friends were right, they showed up right on time, everything in tact, and made the move in as smooth as they did the move out. I can't thank SafeBound enough and would recommend them to anyone that may be hesitant about and cross country move like I was. They are kind, courtious and professional which is all you can really ask for these days. Thanks SafeBound.

My reasons for selecting this company for a moving project were based on several reasons:

• Their requests for additional information (photos, measurements)
• Discount for an en route drop off
I would use them again because:
• Their movers are thorough and courteous
• I received helpful information after the pickup (i.e. breakdown of my costs for a special situation)

• They have a 4% additional fee if you pay with credit card. I suggest paying by check.

Being in an industry that requires frequent relocations, one every two to three years, I’ve had my fair share of moving experiences. From my first interaction with this company to them placing the very last item in my new house I can’t say enough wonderful things. At no point did I feel like I was being pushed or baited with typical sales lines. I called many times with questions and concerns and last minute changes and there were always more than happy to help. We did use the dedicated truck option to have the whole truck which no other company offered. We opted for a full packing job, let me tell you, I never expected them to take such care and time packing our boxes. I used full packing services before and everything arrived damaged, not this time.

I felt compelled to provide a reference for Safebound Logistics after our experience in moving from Massachusetts to North Carolina. After researching about a dozen options, and spending hours reading the fine print it was apparent that the guaranteed Quotations had so many out clauses that nothing was guaranteed…..especially the low ball prices. Just use your common sense, how could they possibly provide you a quote that’s even close to what you’ll be really charged based solely on how many rooms in your house. It also became obvious that most used independent truckers as well as 3rd party local movers at the destination to deliver and unload our possessions. None of them could assure us full responsibility from packing and loading to transportation and storage to delivery and unloading with their own crews and contracts….except Safebound. They came to our house, inventoried everything, identified anything that would need special handling and only then provided their proposal. They were also very flexible in including special terms to satisfy any concerns we had. We were at first petrified with the thought of moving our large house after living there for 22 years, but Safebound Logistics took care of everything. From Mike, their executive sponsor for our move, down to each and every employee (too many to name) involved either on-site or back at their corporate headquarters, they worked hard and did everything necessary to make our move affordable but more importantly stress free. Thank You Mike and Safebound Logistics team!

What a great service safebound logistics provides. Got on a plane to west palm beach from New York, for a little winter break. Loved west palm beach so much that I never left. Called safebound logistics to get a quote to move my personal belongings from my house in Brooklyn, New York, and my business in manalapan, nj. After letting them know that no one will be at the house during the move. They informed me that wouldn’t be a problem, nor is it their first move where the owner is absent. Reassured me all my belongings would be well taken care of. Not the cheapest quote but you know the saying “you get what you pay for”.

I watched the movers on my cameras. They wrapped each individual item with wrapping paper, bubble wrap or moving blankets. Were very careful moving everything through the house. Not a scuff or scratch on the walls. Labeled each item to where it came from in the house. Emailed me an itemized list of what was taken out of the house ( I paid a little extra for that service). Then when my stuff arrived, it was so easy to get settled into my new residence. As to my warehouse move: They packed seven 53 foot trailers nice and neat for easy unpacking. Stored it in their local warehouse until I was ready to move in to my new Florida warehouse. (Paid extra for the storage, but was very fairly priced). All around great seamless experience.

Most important - my belongings arrived quickly, everything was there, and I don't think anything was damaged (though things are in storage so I won't know for months, until I unpack the boxes). They showed up on time to both pick up for my move, and to deliver my belongings. Shockingly, my stuff arrived in Massachusetts only two days after it was picked up in Virginia.

However, the promises the Safebound salesman made to get my business were false on several fronts. 1) I had belongings coming from both my apartment and a storage unit. The cubic footage for the storage unit was easy (5 x 10 x 5) but the actual measurements (in the truck) for apartment belongings was 50% higher than their estimate - 600 CF vs 397 CF. This resulted in a cost increase of about $750, and they demanded half of that in cash before they would drive away. I can understand being off by a few boxes, but by 50%, after their video review of all parts of my apartment?

2) They used a contractor, not their own trucks (I asked about this in advance, having read the negative reviews about their contractors).

3) The salesman promised tall/large 24" wide wardrobe boxes and brought shorter 18" boxes, so I had to take a lot of hanging clothes and shoes, in my car. Not a huge issue, but why promise what you can't deliver?

4) In addition, on moving day as they took furniture out of my storage unit, they said they would wrap/pad it, but it arrived at its destination completely unwrapped.

I chose Safebound based on their slightly lower price and the overall good reviews, and I was disappointed. Be very wary of any promises they make.

Hired these guys after speaking to 4 other movers from a quick online search. I’ll never make the mistake of putting my information online again.

Process was simple and straight forward. Make sure you’re dealing with a real moving company and not some war room as I found out. Stay away from BROKERS. All they want to do is collect a deposit from you like hound dogs.

I spoke with Patric and did a FaceTime call. He showed me the operation and trucks outside. I tried this with other companies and all gave me a different excuse.

Your average Joe with your average 2 bedroom furniture. The movers came out- estimate was based on cubic feet. So It’s Volume based. I had only done weight before which was an absolute nightmare. Ended up taking 200cft more than we anticipated but at least Gerson was able to show me it on site. The trucks have these red lines above that indicate how much space you take up. Once again- Patric was honest and upfront telling me that it was a space reservation.

I never write reviews but the industry is filled with crazy overcharge stories. Do your homework- get a visual. You should never make a decision without having someone look at your stuff.

I would 100% use them again but I’m done moving. This was it for me.

For our move from NJ to VA, Safebound quoted us a price of $3,906 based on 629 cubic feet of space needed in the moving truck. In addition, the employee I spoke with told us that what sets Safebound apart from other national moving companies it that it uses it own employees and does not subcontract its moves. This was the prime reason we selected Safebound. Safebound also notes on its website that its movers wear protective equipment as the customer's request in order to to guard against COVID-19.

The reality was far different. First, a subcontractor, CR7 Moving, showed up at our door on moving day. After the foreman checked out all of our items, he said we would require 1,800 cubic feet of space, 3 times higher than Safebound's estimate. The total cost would be $8,675 for a two-bedroom apartment. The movers also did not have masks to wear. The move resulted in several expensive items being damaged. It appeared to us that Safebound was unabashedly dishonest and/or wildly incompetent. Its employee was either incapable of realizing that we would require 3 times the amount of space he quoted or Safebound and CR7 simply engaged in consumer fraud during a period in which both companies may be financially struggling due to COVID-19.

To reiterate, we chose Safebound because it said it had its own employees and did not use subcontractors. This blatant lie resulted in our moving costs doubling and several items being damaged. Even though Safebound did not actually move our things, we felt they were liable.

After the move, we emailed Safebound's president to explain our position and give the company a chance to rectify the situation. In response, we got a cookie-cutter email in which we were instructed to contact the moving company itself to sort out the issue of our damaged items. The response dodged the issue of Safebound's dishonesty and incompetence.

In follow-up correspondence with Safebound's customer support, we have still been getting the run-around. The company simply will not recognize the apparent issues we have raised.

I used Safebound for my recent move from California to New York. Their price for a dedicated truck was high, but they guaranteed in their contract that they would be able to deliver five to seven calendar days after picking up. Unfortunately, they didn’t. They delivered late and when I called to say I was unhappy about this, the customer service agent basically shrugged and mumbled something about how I didn’t understand the logistics involved. That’s true! That’s why I trusted (and paid extra for) the delivery time that you guaranteed me. (It was Safebound that came up with that delivery time in the first place.) The agent promised to call me back, but didn’t, and then promised to have her boss call, but he didn’t either. It’s clear that this company has no interest in delivering on their promises. I would not use them again and I would not recommend them to anyone else.
