Excellent service! From beginning to end, things went well! Everyone was so professional! When I went on line to search for movers, I was horrified to read the bad reviews from many other companies- big companies! I did extensive research and got several quotes. I initially wanted to go with a big brand name company but because of the poor reviews, I kept searching. I’m so glad I did! Safebound Logistics is a fairly new company and they are working very hard to build their brand! The co owner and a colleague came to my condo to do an evaluation. They were very friendly, no nonsense and down to Earth. You get a sense that they will really work with you- they have initiative and follow thru. I highly recommend them! The quote was below other quotes and they kept me informed every step of the way. They answered my many questions and were very responsive! That is so important as moving is so stressful.. The men who actually moved my furniture were also very good- wrapping things extremely well - they appeared to go above and beyond, were friendly and efficient- on both coasts! Call Felipe or Ron. Just want you to know if your considering a move with a fair amount of distance the folks at Safebound Logistics are "great". And here is why: I moved my ship date forward from what I originally scheduled, not a problem. I asked they package my wife's good glass/dishes, no issue. Best of all the moving van went to another address where I had items stored, packaged and loaded them onto the truck at no additional cost. Within 3 days the truck arrived, furnishings were set up and the wife was happy. If you are talking about "painless" and at a reasonable price this is the group. Thanks.

I needed to ship a Bushtec Trailer from Sacramento, CA to Huntsville, AL. Several companies responded to my inquiry. Safebound Logistics was the only company that asked the right questions and provided a clear explanation of the shipping process.

To my surprise an earlier pick-up date was available. The movers called to let me know when they would arrive and they arrived on time. The movers were professional and treated the handling of my Bushtec as though it belonged to them. The movers explained how they were going to prepare my trailer for shipment.

Within a reasonable time the Bushtec arrived at its destination in Huntsville, AL. The same courtesies of phone calls that were afforded to me were shown to the recipients of the Bushtec in AL.

I was notified by Safebound Logistics when the delivery was completed.

Safebound Logistics has lived up to my expectations, this was a stress free move at a fair price and all peoples involved with this move were very professional. Safebound Logistics is a company worth considering on your next move, small or big.

Service cost: $1000

Safebound Logistics appears to contract out for pickup and last mile, which is hardly uncommon in the moving business. In both cases, the trucks I saw were unmarked and the paperwork bore the "Galaxy Movers" letterhead.

While initial contact and quotes went well enough, there were a good amount of confusion over the pickup window which was not decided until days before, and a miscommunication between dispatch and drivers led to an unpleasant call on the day before my pickup with a driver-- who was understandably upset about being called out when the pickup wasn't ready. Costs were quite reasonable and I appreciated the flexibility of the firm on this front.

Blankets were provided to wrap furniture and artwork. These are padding blankets-- they're dirty, so make sure you have either something to cover your own articles or clean at the end! To be 100% clear, I wouldn't really expect anything else.

However, I would have happily paid more for better last-mile service (I received a call late in the evening asking whether or not we'd be available to take delivery the next day from the driver), particularly unloading. The movers at the destination dumped a lot of items with minimal care-- particularly the one box marked "fragile."

This brings me to the biggest problem overall: the boxes. Some damage to packaging is only to be expected in a move, particularly a longer one. I will let you judge whether or not the amount of damage is acceptable here-- several boxes were largely crushed, and the only box in the entire load marked as fragile had two 3" punctures on opposite ends.

Obviously, you should pack your items with care-- but puncture damage is highly indicative of bad handling during warehousing or transit, and I cannot recommend these movers to anyone.

DO NOT USE!! MY belongings are being held hostage. Based on WAITING FOR someone moving to Michigan. So they're sitting somewhere on a truck. I have already had to buy clothes and shoes as we were never told that it would take that fn long. Our refrigerator was on there. My washer and dryer, etc. When I asked about this lack of information. One person the dispatch manager, said it was in the contract. NO IT WASNT. I was told by the self proclaimed "best salesperson" well if you had worked with me I would have charged you 8000, versus the 3700, so you would have gotten it quicker. No where in the contract, nor any communications, was this ever stated. The first time I addressed the response, via email, was "how long did you think it would take". No one is helping us, nor trying to give me a date and their voice changes when we call as we're not a priority. The salesperson we started with either quit or was let go. We're being penalized for that in my opinion. So I will have to buy more clothes for a vacation I had already planned. To say I'm angry would be an understatement. To say there's nothing they can do is BS. So we're stuck. NOT HAPPY AND MASSIVELY INCONVENIENCED.

Safebound did a fantastic job moving my mom. Patric explained everything up front. Cost was detailed and no “extras” we added in. It was a big move for her and the first professional move. Mike, our mover, was not just on time but early. He loaded the entire house by himself. He was a total pro and took great care with everything. At the other end he again, was on time and expedient. Everything arrived in perfect order. We had a tight window and Safebound managed expectations and delivered.

Safebound Moving & Storage were very understanding of our situation and their cheerful nature removed a lot of the stress. Eventually we hired them again to move us from storage to our new house in Allentown, PA. Everything was intact with no damages at all which is great considering the double move. The crew put everything in the right places and covered carpets with protectors. We are very grateful to the Safebound's team and would recommend them to anyone looking to move.

We recently used Safebound Moving and had a miserable experience. The salesman I spoke with (Will Maudlin), after being very thorough up front, stopped responding to my emails and calls after we paid our deposit. The company offered no communication before pick up via email or phone and only after trying several times to get a confirmation on our date called less than 24 hours before they showed up. Then the real fun began. Will estimated 7-10 days to move us from CA to IL, it ended up taking 27 days. The whole time they never once called or emailed saying things were delayed and could only say “sorry we can’t give you a date.” When our things finally showed up, lots of the boxes were smushed and bent, even those labeled fragile. The tiny crew who unloaded our things were also late, and took twice the amount of time they estimated (about 4 hours to unload), not leaving our place until well after dark, about 7:30pm. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy.
