I've moved quite a bit and I've gotten pretty good at finding high quality, cost-effective moving companies. Safebound was 1 of 5 company's I was gathering quotes from. I tend to choose 2 high end national moving companies as well as three reputable local ones. This allows me to see where my move stands in terms of pricing.

I chose Safebound because of their prompt response, reviews as well and their competitive pricing. One big thing for me was the fact they we're able to get a representative out to us same day.

We had one miscommunication throughout the entire process. Felipe was able to fix the error and make good on the expected delivery date.

Very pleased with the level of service and I give them my recommendation.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1950

Working with SafeBound Logistics was an excellent experience. From the first website contact and professional and courteous communication to the actual move, all went more smoothly than we could have imagined. The movers were prompt, careful and sensitive to the difficult situation of relocating our 84 year-old mother, both at pickup and at the destination, and then again while moving our precious family heirlooms. I would highly recommend using Felipe and his team at SafeBound Logistics.

Very professional. I hired Safebound Logistics for my move very recently. Right from the quote process to delivery of my goods was very prompt and handled very well by the team.

The quote provided to me one of the best and reasonable I had received ( I had quotes from 5 other vendors). They agreed for a 2 day pick up window and 2 day delivery window which most of the others vendors dint agree to.

On the pick up day the guys turned up on time and they handled all my stuff with utmost care and ensured that all the goods were packed and furniture properly padded.

I had also taken the storage option (of 30 days) for my goods. They were very prompt to reach out to me 2 days before the delivery and inform me about the delivery and the driver details.

On the day of delivery the guys were again on time and ensured that all my stuff was unpacked and furniture assembled in my new house.

The best part was they accepted credit card for all the payments and the final amount came out to be very close to the original quote they provided.
Overall, I was very much satisfied with their service and I would recommend them to all my friends.

I recently used Safebound Logistics service for long distance moving. From beginning to end, this was a very good experience. My move was pretty simple but anything could have made it complicated. Felipe in the office was extremely helpful and courteous in setting up the move date and afterwards. I had a quote within an hour or less of calling, I can't say that for the other movers I called. The moving crew were on time and fast! Super pleasant and helpful. Yes I would definitely use them again and recommend to friends and family. Worth every penny, and they were well priced.

Safebound Logistics are true professionals. They were friendly and efficient in their duties as well as great at listening to our concerns and needs. Working on a private Super yacht, we require a high professional level of service and these guys went above and beyond. At every stage of the move, they were quick, courteous and very professional especially when dealing with high end furniture. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a moving company who is not only bang on the buck but reliable, friendly and used to dealing with high end goods.

Move size: Commercial Move Service cost: $6000

We are in the middle of a horrible standoff with this company. We hired them for a crosscountry move based on all the positive reviews here, but it's been a disaster. They provided us a binding estimate and promised they would pack, move, and store our stuff. We did a detailed video chat with them to show them every corner of our stuff and discuss packing needs in depth.

On the first day, everything was going to get packed, and the next day loaded on the truck. The movers showed up and everything seemed great. They were efficient and friendly. They kept asking if we wanted certain items packed in cardboard or not. By the end of the first day, they said they were running out of boxes and would need to come the next day. We offered to run to the store to get some more boxes, but they said they could just bring the next day.

They came back the next day with the truck and started loading everything us. The foreman told us we needed to sign an amended estimate for --- wait for it ---- nearly $5000 more than the binding estimate. How could this be? All those cardboard boxes.. $25 bucks or more a pop. So when they wrapped dining table top in about 8 boxes, that was an extra $200. The bottom wrapped in cardboard, another couple hundred bucks worth of cardboard.

Looking at the revised estimate closer, we realized that we weren't even talking to Safebound anymore. they had sent us a completely different company called Budget Moving, a one-star moving company with an F on BBB and tons of complaints. Safebound had NEVER told us they were subcontracting and we never would have approved Budget.

We told the Budget foreman that we would work out pricing differences with Safebound and could not sign the new terms. The foreman told us if we didn't sign they would leave 1/3 of our stuff on the curb and drive off with the rest. He knew that we were closing on our house and needed to be out the next day. I signed the new contract, but crossed off many of the bogus charges and other terms.

At this point, the Budget guys became aggressive with our stuff and started throwing it around and dragging it on the floors. They completely scratched up the hardwood floors. We were so embarrassed for the new owners to see what happened to their beautiful house.

I called Safebound several times that day and the next week to complain, but never got any meaningful response. When they did respond, they said they were standing by their subcontractor. They offered $1000 off the inflated price and would see if they could send someone to fix the floors. But they continued to claim we had 100 more items than in their video conference inventory, now using the subcontractors counting scheme. Over the video conference with Safebound, a King Bed was one item. Now, Budget Moving counted it as seven items - a mattress, a box spring, a frame, and four sides of the bed itself. Multiple that by every piece of furniture and it's easy to see where the "extra" 100 items come from.

We are terrified they are going to keep our items hostage, or it's all going to come back busted. I will update this review when we get out stuff back. I hope it all is resolved, but I want to warn others in the meantime! Proceed with caution!

We had an excellent experience with Safebound Logistics. We called a number of different companies knowing that it can be a headache to find a good moving company. These guys came out on top, they were the friendliest and most helpful. The rates were reasonable too.

My wife's father recently passed away and we had to move some of his belongings from Florida to Wisconsin (40+ boxes in total). The items were at two locations. This was a very emotional time for my wife and the thought of going through this moving process was a big stress for her. Right from the start, the team at Safebound Logistics were kind and understanding of our situation. They showed great patience and professionalism when we called a few times to change out some of the items and add additional boxes at the last minute. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them.

All of the items arrived in perfect condition and the driver/mover was very careful when unloading the truck. He was also very polite and professional. I would highly recommend using this company for your moving needs!

I want to thank Safebound for agreeing to move me quickly after the original company cancelled at the last minute leaving me with a house full of staff and no where to go. They were all great guys! From the office team to the movers, I could not be more happy. Worked really hard and fast, and took care of my items as if they were there own. Very friendly and listened to what my needs were and even offered additional help if I needed it. Got along with each other and stayed late into the evening to get the job finished. Thank you for being so easy to deal with! They are the definition of hard work and customer service all wrapped into one. If I could, I would give them an 11/10 for the work they did and the way in which they did it. Nice to know there are services available in local area with local companies that aim to exceed expectations and earn the business. I will use them again and highly recommend their services to anyone looking to make a move.

We were referred to SafeBound from a family friend that had used them before after my husband was suddenly relocated to the Boston area for work. I was a little hesitant at first seeing that it was on such short notice and me being as meticulous as I am when it comes to my home/family items. I have to say though that from the very outset the gentleman that did the home estimate was extremely courteous and professional and took the time to adequately address both my concerns as well as my family's most cherished possessions. I'm sure I drove him crazy with all of my relentless questions about the cost, care and specific time that my things would arrive but he took it all in stride and assured me that I wouldn't have to worry about a thing once the big day arrived, and I have to say he was right. On the day of the move I was a nervous wreck, especially because my husband had already left, but the movers arrived right on time, they were actually a little early which I loved, and took the time to explain to me the process instead of just barging in and empyting the house out as fast as they could. Hopefully they didn't see me biting my nails throughout the day, praying that they didn't drop/scratch the amoire that my grandmother left me or my husbands big screen TV God forbid, but I have to say they treated everything like it was their own, like they knew the importance of what these things meant to me, and for that I am extremely thankful. After we flew up North my heart was still pounding as to the number of things that could go wrong through such an intricate process, but I have to say our friends were right, they showed up right on time, everything in tact, and made the move in as smooth as they did the move out. I can't thank SafeBound enough and would recommend them to anyone that may be hesitant about and cross country move like I was. They are kind, courtious and professional which is all you can really ask for these days. Thanks SafeBound.
