In my honest opinion, the move was a good experience. I say " good" because SafeShip and Rushmore Van Lines should have communicated better. A few inconsistencies in the contract between the two companies. Original moving estimate was for space ( basically a foot print in a box of sand). Truck size didn't match the estimate. The biggest hurdle was a misunderstanding in packaging material. I went back and forth with the job sup for about 15 minutes. Not conducive in an already stressful situation. I have three China hutches [with glass] and I told SafeShip that on day one. The estimate didn't include extra packing, so Rushmore wanted to charge me for extra packing materials. Glass in a cabinet requires a different type of packing to be safe. That should have been caught before the estimate was given. Overall, both companies had relatively good communication with me, just not with each other. That being said, the Rushmore crew was very efficient and professional during the pack out. They were all driven and very respectful.

I had an excellent experience with Rushmore Moving Company and couldn’t be happier with their service. From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and stress-free.

A big shoutout to Konstantin, who was the main guy coordinating our move—he was absolutely fantastic! Konstantin was punctual, organized, and incredibly efficient. He handled our belongings with great care and made sure everything was packed and transported safely. His calm demeanor and problem-solving skills really helped ease the usual stress that comes with moving.

The whole crew was respectful, hardworking, and clearly experienced. No hidden fees, no last-minute surprises—just honest, reliable service.

We have moved dozens of times and they are hands-down, the best to work with and the most honest and took care of our furniture perfectly! Don’t look anywhere else. I don’t care where we move the country. We will be calling them. Our move was from Texas to Utah, and they were in constant communication, friendly, and so nice to work with!

The experience with the moving staff Marlon on yesterday was absolutely great. He showed compassion and empathy for what I'm going through and it was greatly appreciated. Today, I had a follow up phone call with Johnathan. He took the time to explain and help me understand the delivery process. He was kind, and answered questions. I received great customer service from both Marlon and Johnathan. My hope and prayer is that the delivery will be smooth, safe, with no issues or concerns.

They are NOT Military Friendly even though they are supposedly veteran owned. We contacted the company and spent hours on the phone and video chat walking through our house listing everything we needed done, after some negotiation we got the price down to Around $8,000 to pack up what we didn't have packed, and move it all to a storage area until we closed on our new house. Two days before the move we get a call from their "auditor" Who AGAIN goes through everything we need done, then tells us the price has gone up to $19,000. BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM!!!! We couldn't find another mover at the last minute, so we negotiated with the crooks to do less than half of the work, and all we had to do was send them another $1100. They had us in a no win situation, so we agreed. Then they called to say that THEIR rep had not fully documented everything on their end, so they couldn't be held responsible, besides it wasn't a contract, just an agreement.

Summary: We told them what we needed done, they gave us a price, then at the last minute they would not honor that price, and more than doubled the rate from $8,000 to $19,000. I am 24yr US Navy veteran who wanted to support a veteran owned company, but now regret it. ALL VETERANS BEWARE: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Safe Ship on the other hand, is the broker and we did have a difficult time pinning down a price since it kept changing. The estimates were changed more than once.This caused great stress as we were up against the wall due to the sale of our home, but In the end it was resolved.

On moving day, Dimitrii and George arrived right on time and got straight to work. They were fast, efficient, and incredibly professional. What stood out most was the consistent communication—everyone kept me informed at every stage, which gave me total peace of mind.

The pricing was competitive, especially considering the level of care and service provided. Overall, I couldn’t be happier and would absolutely use them again. Highly recommend!

For anyone wanting to move, I highly recommend these guys. They were punctual, took all the time in the world to help me calculate and figure cost and gave me all the supplies and tools I needed to make them move. They were very fair very helpful and very careful with all of our belongings we would highly recommend anyone needing to move to give these guys a chance. The next time I move or my family moves I will definitely Safe Ship Moving company. Nestor the crew chief and his crew workers did an awesome job even putting up with my twin four year-old boys running around and getting in their way all day. They still kept their cool and got the job done despite having 2 fouryear-old circle them all day.
