RMC Movers

I worked with RMC Movers for about two months trying to get out of my house and moved across country. Due to a nasty divorce I was going through at the time, I had to cancel three times, before I was finally able to move. Despite that fact, from Lamar, to all office staff, everyone at RMC Movers was extremely patient and remarkably understanding.

Moving day finally came and they showed-up with the truck, boxes, all packing supplies and 8-guys. They not only blanket wrapped all the furniture, but they shrink wrapped it as well for added protection. All of them work extremely hard to get everything out of the house and on the 26-ft truck. They arrived at my destination and packed the storage unit with a mastery to no other.

I have not one bad word to say about this company, nor anyone working for this company. Everyone is honest, straight forward and does exactly what they say they will do.

Louis was my driver and he called me every single night to let me know the progress and where he was in the journey. With it being a long distance move having a call each night was comforting to know just where he was in the process and to also know he was safe.

I whole heartedly recommend this company to anybody with a difficult move as you will be treated with respect, understanding and kindest throughout the entire time. I can only imagine an easier move would be a 'walk-in-the-park' for them!

There were no hidden costs, the price quoted was the price I paid. I did give a hefty tip to the driver as it was an extremely long treacherous drive across country, running into snow and patches of ice.

I will be using them again when the time comes.

The gentlemen of RMC movers were prompt, professional and polite.  They were careful with my furniture and respectful of my home- careful around walls, doors, etc. Although this was a small, local move- they did not make me feel like a small, unvalued customer. They respected that the items being moved were of great value to me. From the intial contact to discuss pricing through the move day, they followed through with what they said they would..when they said they would. I would recommend this moving company to my friends anytime.

Service cost: $250

This was a small job - I was afraid no one would want to fool with it. They packed my kitchen items for my complete kitchen renovation.  These boxes went into my basement. Then later when the cabinets & appliances were out, they returned and packed them into a portable storage container. They were great.  I felt comfortable with them being in my house. Nothing was damaged or stolen. They kept their word on timelines, etc. I would definitely use them again if/when I ever move again. .

Service cost: $700

These guys were great!  They showed up right on schedule and started working they second they walked in the door.  I bought donuts for the crew and they didn't even touch them until they had been working for a couple of hours.  Everything was professionally wrapped with great care before it was loaded.  If you're fortunate to get Lou, I gotta say, he sure knows how to pack a truck!!  There was not one empty space and he used every inch of the truck.  The house we moved to had new hardwood floors, fresh paint and new carpet..and not a mark was left anywhere.  These guys worked clean, fast and very efficiently.  Lamar is a good leader and keeps his team focused. That was obvious by the respectful manners and great attitudes of all his guys.  I would recommend RMC Movers to anyone looking for professional movers at a great value.  Ms. Rosalyn, you raised a very fine son!!  Well done RMC!!

RMC Movers did a great job! I moved from Florida and needed help unloading the uhaul. The moving crew was fast & efficient and friendly and courteous. I was very comfortable with the crew in my new home as they were all very nice and seemed to enjoy doing the job. The office staff was also exceptional keeping me updated and confirming on the days leading up to my move. Lamar was also fabulous checking in on me after the move to make sure everything was up to par. Thank you RMC!

I had an extremely difficult move with many oversized machines that usually require special equipment to move.  RMC was able to get everything moved in one day which I honestly didn't expect to be possible as the last company I had took the entire day to load and they had a forklift.  There was no damage to anything and all the men on the crew were great to work with.  I like them so much that they are doing another move for me, I didn't even bother to call anyone else.

Service cost: $1050

Mr. Bankhead and his staff were very professional and personable. He provided  a deal that was unmatched by his competitors in the area. Although I changed the time due to my closing schedule, he was still able to accomodate me on the same day and even threw in an extra man so that I could be done by a certain time. They moved me from my storage (3 bedrooms) to my new home in under 3 hours. I was truly amazed. These guys came to work. I would recommend this company to anyone that is planning on moving in or around the greater Atlanta area. .

Can't say enough about how smoothly our move went from Roswell, Ga to St. Petersburg, Fl!  Louis and Drew showed up, right on time, with 7 other helpers and 2 trucks.  Louis walked the guys around the house to give them an overview and within a few minutes they started the process of packing.  They brought tons of pads and every single piece of furniture was well wrapped.  With 9 people packing and moving boxes and furniture you would think it would have been chaotic, but it was not.  Louis with Drew's help had everyone very coordinated, so much so that I felt comfortable enough to continue working with our personal items, in another part of the house, while they took over the rest.  I felt very confident that I did not need to supervise, while they did their job.  Louis had a real handle on the entire situation!  It only took them 4 hours to get us packed up and the 2 trucks gone.  I thought it was going to take most of the day.  Louis and Drew drove the trucks down to Florida the following day and upon arriving called us to let us know that our furniture had arrived safe and sound.  We coordinated the unpacking of the trucks, going into storage, for the following morning.  They were already there before we arrived.  And again Louis and Drew got us unpacked in a couple of hours.  The entire process of Rosalyn, RMC Movers salesperson and Louis, the lead coordinator coming to our home to give us a quote until our furniture was put into storage in Florida was a completely hassle free experience!!  It really pays to use RMC Movers for your next move.  They are only moving your home so you get that one on one personal experience.  I HIGHLY recommend RMC Movers.  Call them, you won't regret it, like I did using one of the big, cross country movers for a previous move.          .

I’ve used RMC Movers in the past and they are amazing. They are all very professional and efficient. I have used moving companies that have gone out of their way just to run up the time so my expectations for RMC weren’t that high. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my move was completed with RMC.

I’m preparing for a another move and when I called to schedule the appointment the owner remembered me and I think that was awesome because to me, it says a lot about how he pays attention to his customers. I don’t remember the cost of my last move so I had to guess. I know that it was ridiculously reasonable and less than other quotes I had received.Hopefully this will be my last move for a very long time but I will be referring all my friends and family to RMC Movers!
