PSS International Removals

I am please to say my goods have been delivered. Both sets of packers were absolutely fantastic. The guys in London were great and besides the odd cup of coffee they did not stop. I was surprised how efficient they were and this is reflected on the delivery we received. Based on forums I have read about international removals I expected some damage however other than a couple of broken pint glasses I am please to say we can't see any other damage. Service received from PSS was fantastic, especially the help and advice provided by Lisa and Mark. Contact was no problem, and questions I had were answered straight away. As a new resident in New Zealand and the stress that comes with it all I would highly recommend PSS.

We used PSS to ship our goods to Australia. When the PSS men arrived at our home to pack, they were extremely pleasant and helpful and everything was packed with great care. When our goods arrived in Australia they had to go into storage for about 9 months. When eventually we received them and unpacked our goods, we found every single item to be in perfect condition, not one scratch or breakage including a solid oak dining suite.

When we had to contact PSS for any query we had, they replied straightaway and were extremely helpful.

We would not hesitate in recommending PSS for their care and attention and also their competitive price.

The service received from PSS has been both professional and friendly. They have answered any queries we may have promptly and informatively. The guys who did the packing on the day were also friendly, considerate and nothing was too much trouble. On such a stressful day this was very much appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their excellent service thus far however I am confident that the same level of service will continue once our belongings arrive here in NZ.

My consignment was packed on 14th February and still I didn't get it from London to Australia.I had paid all required amount that PSS asked me to pay for but when the consignment came to Adelaide I been asked to pay another fees for inspection!and I paid that too so I can get the consignment earlier.Not that all,icalled the local agent twice and they are still refusing to give me an ESTIMATED DATE!come on an ESTIMATED Date!! And told me they don't bother what PSS told me about delivery time!simply disgusting!how long I have to wait! Now I have to buy slowly slowly whatever I am expecting from my consignment!thats a total joke!

Everything was excellent , from the booking to collection to delivery
they were very flexible with the date , in fact they shipped my house contents from UK to Abu dhabi straightaway and they store it for me for free until I settlled in (3 months) then delivered and unpacked on the same day I wanted , also the collection was with a short notice.
My only comment is that my friend shipped more than me with a cheaper company.
the other small issue is the driver who came to collect my things was arrogant and unhappy , I had to feel it was my fault so I had to move some boxes myself to the van , resulted in back pains

But overall these are small issues as long as they have not caused me any stress , so happy with the booking and timing and delivery : excellent service.

We moved from UK to new zealand and used PSS to ship our stuff out.
I sent lots of tools and some household stuff out.

Since I first phoned them for a quote I had nothing but trouble but the straw that broke the camels back was when I received an Email from the NZ port where everything had been delivered to say the documents PSS had sent them were illegible and I had to detour from my holiday to redo all the documents they were supposed to send them therefore doing PSS's job for them, costing me time and money!

Listed below are the other Mistakes PSS made:
- Repeatedly got my name wrong after being corrected about it repeatedly
- Failed to inform me of Customs charges I ended up having to pay once in New Zealand to release my goods
- Failed to inform me of 1-2 weeks Customs delay in picking my tools up from customs
- Shipment took longer than 12 week time frame quoted to reach Christchurch
- Failed to inform me of insurance charges when quoting me, (I only found out when I was invoiced).
- Some members of staff were quite rude and dismissive when I phoned up to question stuff

Basically PSS messed up the paperwork, delivered the shipment late, failed to inform me of lots of important details and were generally very unprofessional. The only thing that didn't go wrong is the shipment made it to me in one piece thankfully albeit late!

When I emailed them repeatedly to complain they ignored me.

I would never use PSS again and would advise other likewise.

I made the unfortunate mistake of using PSS to ship a gift to South Africa for my dad. At first when receiving the quote I was happy and agreed to proceed, but when the invoice arrived they said the box weighed more than what quoted for (it did not weigh more!) and they over charged me for collection.

However this is not the worst of it! After realising this company was out to take advantage of me I wanted to cancel the whole thing and use UPS instead that turned out to be cheaper. They then wanted to charge me £60 as a cancellation fee and after looking at all the options I had no choice but to just go a head and use them.

When the box left I was contacted by my dad informing me that someone just phoned him to say that the parcel was arriving but that the company put me the sender down as the consigning person as well??!! I couldn't believe it what logic was there in that! I then phoned PSS and asked what was going? However to my dismay the person I spoke to said to me "it's your own fault you didn't tell me someone else was collecting the box"!!

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I explicitly said to them whilst making sure that the forms I had filled in was correct - that it's a gift for my dad (it even said this on the customs form!!)

After losing my patients with PSS and the person I was dealing with showing that he really couldn't care less, I was left to sort this mess out by myself! I then had to phone the company receiving the parcel in South Africa and send a letter asking to change the consigning person from me to my dad with more documents and it was a massive undertaking!

I really urge anyone reading this to save yourself from paying more than you should and the VERY poor customer service you will get in return.
