Hey my name is Jake Berman and I can tell you that my expeirence with presto has been AMAZING. Everytime you move from place to place your life changes dramaticaly and stress builds up, but when I gotl referred to presto and spoke to Henry, he was so comfortable on the phone and consistantly reassured me that everything will be fine and was so positive. That really helps so much when your life is changing in so many ways. Presto is the company I would refer to anybody who asks me.

Henry was very thorough with our inventory list and the volume quoted was just about accurate, besides for the additional purchased furniture that I added to the move at the last minute.. but they didn't up my rate at all..I just paid a prorated ampount for the additional space.
On delivery,  Jeff and  Bill were corteous and efficent and got the job done quickly and everything was in place and assembled and ready to live in!
Office staff and dispatch department were also quite helpful in giving updates and tracking my shipment on its way across the country.
I will recommend presto to family and friends.

I am writing this complaint against Presto Logistics as I hired them for an inter-state move and they failed to deliver on multiple fronts. Presto Logistics has proven to be deceitful, fraudulent and misleading, and I am still dealing with them to receive the proper treatment a customer deserves. To summarize, I hired Presto Logistics to assist me with my inter-state move, and my contact assured me my belongings would be in San Diego within 5 days at my new residence, by May 5th, at the latest. Upon my search for moving companies this was the main reason behind why I chose this company over all the others, as the duration they promised proved to be the best solution for me. Even though the fine print in their agreement stated 3-14 days, the gentleman I spoke to by the name of Patrick, assured me it would be 3-5 days. I accepted his verbal commitment for face value and proceeded with hiring Presto Logistics.  Unfortunately, this was not the case as I was informed that day my items would not delivered until the following weekend. I relocated to San Diego as I am an executive in a company, and its headquarters is located in San Diego.  My company has assisted in paying for my meals and hotel expenses while I awaited my delivery. According to the original agreed upon date, my company had budgeted an amount based on the delivery date of May 5th.  Since this was not the case, an additional week of expenses was incurred on my company, which is a completely unnecessary financial burden. Not to mention, during that week I was chasing Presto Logistics trying to figure out where my belongings were, along with trying to get some sort of decent customer service which I failed in receiving, ultimately distracting me from my work jeopardizing my relationship with my boss. Throughout the entire process, Presto Logistics has been extremely unprofessional with a neglectful and careless attitude. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer. After discovering my items would indeed not be delivered until the following weekend, I had to notify my boss, as the added expense totaled an additional $1,500. My boss contacted the general manager of Presto Logistics in hopes to receive compensation for the additional expense, however, it has been weeks and yet no form of compensation has been remitted to my company. The general manager, Abe, spoke with my boss on the phone and agreed to pay the compensation, however, ever since it has been a nightmare to get a hold of him and he hasn’t taken any action to rectify this matter. On top of the compensation Presto owes us for this nightmare, when they finally delivered my items, many of them were damaged and I am now dealing with that on a separate level. Ultimately my experience with this company was absolutely awful .

Presto just unloaded my goods here in Everett, WA with everything intact and where I wanted  it. I said I'd wait to write a review till it was over and I am happy I did wait. I thought there would be some bumps in the road and I can honestly say that this was as smooth a move as I could've imagined. Henry scheduled my move for me a few months ago, the crew on pickup was very nice (names not coming to mind) and the crew on delivery, Billy and Sam were very pleasant and helpful. Anyone in need of a quality moving company I would recommend Presto movers. .

Service cost: $3695

After great ratings we used Presto instead of United.  They were 4 hours late arriving.  We expected to have them finished packing late in the day, not 4:00 am the next morning.  As a result, the hotel room that I prepaid part way on the move was empty and the money was lost.  The crew spent lots of time talking on their phones.  The lead was also too busy talking on the phone most of the day.  As a result, the crew only worked hard when he was watching.  They finally started working hard at about 10:00 pm.  There was more to be moved than they estimated.  The truck would not hold everything (though the crew that unloaded said it was not loaded well and much more could have been inside).  The Leader of the crew came to me at about 2:00 am and said that due to the increase in move size I would have to have an extra $5000 when the furniture was delivered.  Total move cost up to $12,300 from $7300. Before the furniture was actually delivered, I was told that the lead made a mistake and the total was actually just under $14,000.  Due to poor packing, two beds (a king and a queen) were tied to the back of the truck and were ruined.  The company gave me $500 for settlement.  There were also a couple of furniture pieces damaged. I was told that the coverage was $0.60 per pound for the pieces.  The repair place wanted about $700 0r so and the movers would not cover much of it.  More to tell, but a horific experience! .

Was quoted $1440 by Henry. After everything was on the truck, the moving guy wanted $2800.I refused to pay and got a hold of Henry who stated the guy made a mistake. I finally paid $1720. They did use extra boxes but even still that was high. Everything that I listed for the move was accurate. The mover stated that he was on his way after pickup to Tucson. We got to Tucson and waited 4 hrs. for them to deliver. they showed up 8 days later. Furniture was dirty and we had a beautiful floor lamp that was in pieces. Save your self some aggravation and do not use this company. My Mom is 90 years old and they tried to take advantage of her.What a scam.

My experience with Presto Logistics was better than I could have imagined.  I too had read the negative reviews, but as my salesman pointed out, there were a handful of bad reviews for over 3,000 moves a year that Presto accomplished.  I did a lot of research, got other quotes, and even priced out the move if I were to do it myself with U-Haul.  Presto's pricing was right on, almost exactly what I figured it would have cost me to do the move myself.  And I'm so glad I didn't!  Every phase of the move was smooth as silk.  I was moving my mother from California to Washington after she had a stroke and was no longer able to live alone; so everything had to be done very quickly, and emotions on my end were high.  Henry was great at communicating with me before the move.  I was able to contact the drivers during the move and even got a delivery that was days earlier than I had expected.  I couldn't believe how fast the guys got the work done in both loading in California and delivering in Washington.  And not a single item was broken or damaged.  Henry had given me a quote of $2300.  I added boxes and a few items I had forgotten, and the price went up accordingly, which I had expected.  Everything was completely above board, and everyone I dealt with was really wonderful, sympathetic, and helpful.  I really could not have asked for a better moving experience.

Wow what a great job presto did for me. It was really a perfect experience and I couldn't have asked for better. I did my research and saw all the reviews from all over the place but I was willing to take the chance considering almost everyone else that called me barely had any reviews at all. The crew that came to my house was very nice throughout the move and he driver in California was the same in Phoenix. They delivered the next day and everything came safely! Thank you presto, Henry and the rest of the presto staff that helped me with my move.

For all the negative things that people say about moving companies I have to say I am very impressed with Prestos business ethic! From the first call they made to me, the offered me to come out to my home to give me a binding price. Henry came out, provided me with excellent information about his service and others in the industry. The movers were all very nice, handled my belongings with care and were very efficient. Henry mentioned the possibility of a shuttle service that might be needed in DC where I was moving, the driver made an extra effort to get as close as possible and charge for the long haul less than half of what the shuttle would have been. I really appreciate the Presto Teams efforts!!

This company was terrific. My sales rep Brandi was upfront with all charges and answered any questions or issued that arose. My house was completely packed without our presence and the same crew delivered it a few days later. I have to give huge appreciation to "Twin" and Eric. These two gentlemen are so kind, hard working and made the move so easy. Nothing we asked was a problem, they smiled and helped us move beds, put together the world's most annoying bunk beds..there was nothing they wouldn't help us with. Only a few things were broken and for some reason all my cleaning supplies were left behind, but considering they moved an entire house, these were small issues.

I highly recommend Presto Logistics, I honestly have nothing negative to say at all. Presto was not the least expensive, nor the most expensive but what they did was deliver exactly what I paid for, on time, safely and did it all with a professional manner.

I used Presto for move from Cali to N. Carolina in July 2014 and they did a fabulous job! I decided to come back to Cali in December 2015 and I don't know how I can say this compared to my last move, but the crew was absolutely amazing! From the pick up men, Ryan & Clifton to the delivery crew. I could not have asked for anything better! Not one problem and everything had been packed so well that it was in perfect condition. These movers are so devoted and conscientious! They are very hard working, have families to provide for and deserve a lot of kindness for all they do!! Don't forget to give them a little food, beverages & a good tip!!

My move with Presto was amazing from start to finish! Like others who have recently posted, I was also hesitant due to the number of bad reviews here but I felt like everyone that I spoke with and dealt with truly cared about the company they worked for. I dealt with Ross and Henry in scheduling my move and they were professional, persistent (yet not annoying) and really showed that wanted to earn my business. The movers in California were amazing and the driver here in Cleveland was very professional with his workers that he got out here and made sure everything was where I wanted it before he left. I waited till the end of the move to write this review because I wanted to make sure it went well throughout and I couldn't be more pleased honestly.

We recently moved from Los Angeles to Phoenix and contracted with Presto logistics for the move. Every aspect of the transaction was handled in a courteous and professional manner by them. The sales department was informative, the estimate was accurate and all my questions were answered. The Estimate was very reasonable, the movers arrived on time and were very friendly, professional and careful. All my belongings arrived in perfect condition to my new home and everything was placed where I requested. I will certainly be calling them if I ever move again and I will definitely recommend them to anyone moving.

I had an excellent experience with Presto Moving & Storage. The crew was professional, friendly and worked quickly and carefully. They made sure that everything was secure in the truck. At offload, they took extreme caution to cover the flooring in my new place.
My crew was a pleasure to work with. The timing and communication with the company was excellent. I was kept informed of arrivals at both the pick up and drop off locations. I couldn't have asked for a better move. Sheila took care of everything for me and was a pleasure to work with.

I thought going with Presto was going to be a good decision but boy was I wrong. Was given incorrect information about when my furniture would arrive, then to make matters worse, when my furniture did arrive some of my things were damaged,asked about it and the drivers knew nothing about it( not shocked at all). Very very upset with this company ,and to be honest a star is not worth putting up. You know it is bad when your own workers spoke ill of the company. Be careful with this company. They are fast to state their guidelines but will not help you with questions about damaged furniture that was perfectly fine when it left my sight. be sure to ask where your stuff will be at,was not told it would be stored in the state that I was moving from for almost a week. But do know Presto will sure remind you of a balance that is owed .. For those reading the bad reviews trust what we are saying.

I spent twenty-two years in the U.S. Air Force and I made six PCS Moves and this one was after I retired and had to foot the bill on my own. This is the worst move I have ever made. Fortunately, when the military move you you get reimbursed at replace cost. When I looked on the internet for a mover, I was courted by Eddie, Presto Logistics, in Southern California and he compared his company with others. Compared to DOT rating, Presto Logistics looked better than a few other companies that I was considering. Boy was I wrong. My shipment arrived three days late and eleven items short. After two weeks no lost items found? Two smaller trucks picked up our household good then was transferred to a larger, eighteen wheeler. I watched the truck driver as he helped unload the boxes and kept tally at the same time. At the end, he said eleven boxes were missing then all of a sudden these eleven boxes appeared out of nowhere, The next day I began to look for certain items but they could not be found. So I went back and tallied all of the boxes and guess what, eleven boxes missing. I then called Eddie and he didn't really want to help because it was customer service responsibility now. Then I talked to Velma. Trying to talk to her after my shipment arrived two weeks ago was like trying to talk to a brick wall. I just got the run around at this point. My first four years in the USAF I worked in transportation (TMO) receiving freight and I know the game. Based on the way the truck was packed when it arrived at our new destination, I'll bet a C-Note those eleven boxes didn't get on the truck because the trailer was loaded from the front and cut off evenly just past the side door. Could our items been mixed with another customer's items? I don't think so? How can you miss a LARGE WARDROBE box and a LARGE, RED DOLLY. Not to mention most of the boxes we used were from "The Home Depot"? By the way, I spoke to Velma, Customer Services, and she said, "no way you lost eleven items"? I sent an email detailing the items that I recalled (six bullet statements) now Velma says there are only six items missing. At this point, we stand to lose a lot of valuable items. Let's face it, "if" our items were delivered to another customer I believe the driver or the customer would have recognized that? Unless Presto Logistics pulls a rabbit out of their hats and find our missing items, I would not recommend this company.

Our Move from Los Angeles CA to Hyatsville MD was performed with utmost care and concern to our belongings in a timely manner. what really got us was the attention to detail with the Pickup crew to wrap and pack all of our belongings to the point that it seemed virtually impossible to get damamged. The delivery crew was just as good. They were courteous and rwespectful and fulfilled every request we had when placing our belongings throughout our new home in MD.

Beware of 5-star ratings posted by company itself! Moved from CA to FL, lost important items and making little-no effort to find them or update on status. Initially showed up 4 and 1/2 hours late. Loader requested $200 cash to buy gas for next pickup. Delivered to destination 6 days later than the latest delivery date because "truck broke." Delivery driver tried to give me other people's belongings. Host of other headaches. Go with someone else, anyone other than these people.
