My experience was much like Tammy McCarley's experience. I scheduled my move for November 15th as I sold my home and needed to move out. The movers called and let me know they would be a day late, which was problematic, as my close of escrow was supposed to be the 15th. The movers showed up on the 16th. There were three men in an unmarked van who showed up and began packing and moving my things. They asked multiple times if that was everything, while they were stepping over things that still needed to be packed. I was originally quoted $2911 for my move. At the end, after my things were loaded in the moving truck I was asked to sign a contract stating I was to pay $5911.00 for my move. They calculated my items at nearly 1900 sq feet of things (to give you an idea that's larger than a standard 26 ft truck can hold, additionally my son moved his 3700 sq foot home in a 26 ft truck earlier this year--- so I have a hard time believing my 1400 sq foot home - where I was the only occupant and only moved about 3/4 of my things equated to more than my son's 3700sq ft home where four people lived) Either way, I asked to speak to a manager and was told by Constantine that he owned the truck and he was the manager, and that I need to sign and write a check for 1/2 the amount. I reluctantly did so, because I needed to be out of my home ASAP for the new buyers to move in. I did write paid in full on my check, because with my deposit and payment to Constantine, I'd already gone over my original quote of $2911. Issue # 2. All along, I had asked my moving coordinator, Bob, to schedule my new move in date for Wednesday the 22nd. I also told Constantine that is when I would like my things delivered, but he told me he could not help me. Nov 22nd has passed and each day between, aside from Thanksgiving, my moving coordinator told me I would get a call and my things would be delivered. It is the 30th and I still do not have my things. I'm supposed to get a call today or tomorrow for the movers to come, but this has been the story for the last week. I would like my things. I am out of my blood pressure medication, which is packed. I need my items so I can move in to my new home. I wish I had done more research before using this company. There is an entire group on Facebook that is a sort of buyers beware for this company. Apparently many people have similar experiences to mine. I also called a woman at the texas DMV, who has over 60 complaints against this company! I am sick over this whole situation. Asking a senior citizen who is on a very fixed s.s.I income to pay $3k over their quote is very dishonest in my opinion. Additionally, I do not understand why the company has not been able to schedule delivery of my items. I've been calling my moving coordinator Bob everyday, I have recently switched to text and e-mal, because I would like more documentation of this situation. Beware of this company.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $5911

We were quoted $4700 to move a 3000 sq ft home. After they loaded the truck, we were handed a piece of paper that said it would be $7900. They didn’t even take all of our things. We were forced to spend an additional $700 for a uhaul to move the remaining items. We even had less furniture than originally quoted. We are currently living in our new home and have spent hours on hold trying to find out when we can expect delivery. We have left messages with no return call. At a loss for what to do next. One of the movers even helped himself to my ADHD medication that was on my bathroom counter. He was kind enough to leave one in the bottle. It has been almost a week and we have no idea where our belongings are or when they will arrive. My wife and I both spoke to Faith before the move and she assured us that her estimate was accurate. We ended up paying nearly twice what was quoted. They even had the nerve to ask for a tip after loading.

Mr. Mark Brickmann from Presidential Moving LLC has offered me a flat rate of 2000$ for transporting my house hold things from Houston to New York. But when the movers came on 13th November, they charged me more than 3000 US $. The Pick up team told me that, the delivery will be done on 19th November. I have been calling them and no one ever responded. I have left voice messages and no response. I have been trying to reach out to them and there is no response at all. This is very disgusting and I have great difficulty in living in a different city without my house hold belonging especially in winter.

This is extremely bad customer service! I am seriously thinking to take legal action against this company.
