Movers were 3 days late to arrive. Which cost me a lot as I had called twice into the office and was assuredmoverswouldshowupandcallthedaybefore-which never happened. But no one ever called. Ever. Horrible communication. Actually, zero communication. I had to find one of the movers numbers as the office was closed and no one ever returned my voicemail. Pick up was Friday. Booked weeks in advance. No one called, no One showed up. it was 3 days later people showed even though I paid a deposit and was reassured by Nicholas everything would go smoothly, it did not. He was on vacation when a crew was supposed to show and he never emailed or texted me back, same with the office. And now I’m feeling held hostage because not all my stuff showed up and no one called to let me know even tho the crew that dropped some of my stuff off told me someone from the office should have called me to inform me. Now it’s been over a week since the drop off of some of my stuff and not a single phone call. The only contact I’ve had is when the bill was due and they wouldn’t deliver my stuff til payment but also didn’t tell me they were only delivering some of my things. This incompetence has cost me aroind 1800 extra what my bill was. Pegasus has offered nothing in return. Have not contacted me in over a week. Damaged 4 items. Not delivered the rest of my things. Did not reassemble furniture as their quote stated.

So if you want to wait for weeks and never have communication regarding the status of your belongings. Have movers show up days late. And only deliver half your stuff, also beyond three days late.. Then book Pegasus! When the movers came, it was like a favour they didn’t charge me extra for delivering my other items late. I’m still waiting.

Our neighbour used Pegasus Van Lines for their move. Although they have a wide driveway, the truck backed up over our lawn carelessly causing significant damage. I talked to one of their guys who apologized, took responsibility and gave me the company contact information. I made the mistake of thinking that Pegasus would take responsibility for the damage. I was told that the damage was not covered by insurance which only covered household goods that were moved. I responded indicating that even if insurance doesn't cover it, this does not relinquish their responsibility for the damage to which I received no response. Pegasus Van Lines believes that they can damage property and take no responsibility. Not a business that I would want to move my belongings.

A complete nightmare!

The truck drivers were great- it is the organizer and office staff this review is about.

I booked a move through an employee named Nicholas, who identified himself to me and said I had submitted an estimate for a move from Halifax to Montreal through All Canada Movers. Everything was great, at first.

We agreed on Thursday, Oct. 12 pick up of my daughter’s belongings in Dartmouth, NS and a delivery in Montreal on Friday, Oct. 20, between 9-11 AM. We would drive to Montreal on Thursday, Oct. 19 to be there for the early delivery on the next day.

On Friday, Oct. 6 I received a text from Nick asking if they could pick up her stuff on the weekend (Thanksgiving weekend) 6 DAYS EARLY! My daughter was living with me (1.5 hours from where her belongings were stored) and she also had a huge load of things at my home that needed to be packed up and moved to the storage unit in Dartmouth for the Oct.12 pick up date. We thought we had another week to do this.

I texted Nick and said that would not work as on Sunday there was a tropical storm coming and on Monday we had plans to spend Thanksgiving day with family in Springhill. He did not text me back. I then texted him again and asked him to call my daughter. Again, he did not respond or call her. Fast-forward to Sunday night, my daughter gets a call from a truck driver named David who says he will meet us at 10 AM Monday morning. He told her that Nick said, “we were ready”. This was not true and Nick continued to completely ignore our messages. We had no choice but to start packing my car at 9 PM and drive it to Dartmouth the next morning. My daughter had to start a new job.

Then… on the 18th of October Nick called me and asked if he could deliver the stuff early! We hadn’t left Nova Scotia yet and I told him there would be nobody there. He simply said okay and hung up, no explanation.

On Thursday, Oct. 19, we (myself, my daughter and a friend) drove to Montreal. On the delivery morning we were at the apartment to meet them between 9-11 which was the time quoted by Nick. When 11 o’clock came with still no sign of them I called the number we had on the invoice. I spoke with a woman who said our stuff would not be delivered until the following Wednesday- 5 days later!! She said they do not even deliver into Montreal on Fridays! We had several conversations with her, explaining that two of us had made the trip to help her get her apartment organized and paid for flights back to Nova Scotia and we would not be there to help by next Wednesday-she did not care. She then started screening our calls. Neither she or Nick would answer our calls. We used a friend’s phone and they she picked up immediately. This was now obvious they were screening our calls. We had to pay for 5 extra nights in a hotel plus meals and they refused to take any responsibility or reimburse us for our added costs. So much information was withheld when arranging with Nick.

The worst Company I have ever dealt with (except for the drivers) and I hope this helps others from having this happen!

Our experience with Pegasus was excellent. Pricing was fair, staff was courteous and professional and they were extremely helpful leading up to the move. On the day of our move, the team showed up as expected, took a walk through the home to get our instructions and worked quickly and efficiently from there on out and handled our belongings with care. The movers were great to work with and did a fantastic job getting everything done for us and actually completed the move just under the low end of time on the estimate. We were extremely pleased with the experience overall and cannot recommend them highly enough for anyone considering a move!

This is the worst company in the whole world and staffs are unprofessional and liar. The Manager NICK is cheater and BRIAN is stupid and nonsense person I ever talked. GLEN is unprofessional and rude receptionist. When they want you to book their services, they promise everything, but when your don’t get your stuff on time and call them they start lying and stop answering the phone call. Guys, don’t book their services, they are big cheater in the industry. The office staffs are not even trained and don’t even know how to talk to the customer. They are not even part of any association, so you can’t complaint, they don’t answer the phone call , so you won’t have any choice other than long wait for your stuff. Always book the movers service from movers association.

I contacted pegasus for my move from Is Hamilton Ontario To Nova ScotiaNo problem with them answering their phones or returning emails After many phone calls we agreed on a price the subject to weight of courseI paid half of the total amount up frontThe drivers showed up when they were supposed to they picked stuff up long story short

They were 10 days late getting to Nova Scotia no phone calls no e mail I started phoning and email nobody returned my calls until day 8 so for more than a week nobody answered no accountability at all When my things arrived the guys that brought My My things were terrific unloaded et cetera I paid my balance in full the day my stuff was to arrive Assuming that my things would arrive they did not ten days late no phone calls no emails no refund still to this day When un packing all my things everything was there with the exception of 3 bottles of unopened liquor that were all in the same box with the rest of my liquor.

I wouldn't trust the company at all !!

All they had to do was communicate.

They did not and have not I want my money back and my booze replaced.

I will be filing in small claims court!!!

Thank you Pegasus Van Lines for making our move SO easy. This was by far the fastest and easiest move we've had. The moving team was communicative, friendly, and polite. Scheduling was a breeze, and all pricing and moving costs were transparent from the start- no hidden or surprise fees. Our team moved everything very quickly but with care; none of our items were damaged in the move. We would definitely work with them again, and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional moving company.

I've had to move frequently over the past 4 years, trying different moving companies each time and these guys are the best I've found so far. They were punctual, professional and efficient. They wrapped all of our furniture and were extremely careful with everything. They were also very friendly and answered all of our questions. The move cost me almost half of what my previous moves cost me and they were quickest to do the job I needed. Definitely would recommend and will be using Pegasus Van Lines in the future.

Showed up 6 hours late to pack my belongings. When I tried calling the rep to get a hold of what was going on he was the rudest told me not to call on the weekend. Then told me that my delivery of my house will be delayed 1.5 weeks. I said what was I supposed to do with nothing not even clothes for 1.5 weeks. He didn’t care and didn’t even want to hear my concerns. I have moved across the country 6 times and I have never experienced anything like this before. DONT EVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. EVER!!!

I called Pegasus at the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed. Four men and two trucks showed up and made short work of our move. They were professional, courteous, and prompt. We were moving a 4 bedroom home we had been in for over 20 years so there was loads of stuff. I coordinated the move over the phone and the office was responsive and accurate. Nothing was broken and the guys took great care in packaging items for the short across town move. The unpacking was done promptly and they placed the items where we had marked them to go. We had labeled all the boxes with room numbers to aid in the unpacking. I would definitely use Pegasus again and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a local move.

I called to simply confirm the status of my delivery and was put on hold for 10 min when the call dropped. Called back and was transferred to a phone no one picked up. Called back 6 times just for the person to yell at me about why I’m giving them attitude, called me a “Karen” when I simply wanted a confirmation that took him literally 1 min to do. Not only that but they promised my delivery would be here in 7-10 days. It will now not arrive for 18+ days. Worst customer service and service in general.

Ontario to New Brunswick. The timing was not an issue, the final movers that showed up were good guys. The pick up in Ontario was done by a different crew in a smaller truck. They took this truck somewhere to transfer onto a large trailer. Somewhere in there they “lost” a 4 drawer filing cabinet full of my tools and equipment. Tell me how a large heavy cabinet full of tools can get lost. IT DOSENT, it gets stolen. After playing their waiting game of 8 weeks they still cant find this cabinet. Im told i signed a contract saying they can steal anything of mine. Im supposed to start a job with these tools very soon. I guess im expected to replace all these things at my cost. Theres over $1000 i dont have to replace everything due to the quote doubling. I suppose the only thing left for me to do is contact RCMP and a lawyer to get this investigated.Trash like this that takes advantage of their customers needs to be shut down and locked up. Zero respect for other people’s property while a paying customer puts full trust in them to handle their property. Completely ridiculous. Lost, my ass its lost. Check your warehouse managers garage.
