This company shows 5 star ratings, but then they pass you off to a moving company with horrible ratings and service. Don't use this company! The underquoted us by $7,000 and told us our furniture would be delivered in 1-10 days. Once they had our furniture in hand, they now state they can take up to 21 days to deliver. When you first speak with them, they put themselves across as the mover. They are actually just the broker that turns you over to a less than reputable moving company.

Stay away from this so called corporation, business. We set up a long distance move. They pretended that all requirements would be met. That didn't happened. They tell one price, when movers get there they are contracted to the agreement, and they tell a different price. They guesstimate what size move. They will not allow you to talk to the broker that you spoke with. They send you to a so called customer service person, that has poor customer service skills. She stated that the broke works somwhere esle, but I contacted him on the the same phone number. Every review that is one star believe them. Then they are going to send a response that state we honor are business and we work hard on satisfaction of our customers to cover the bull crap that they did wrong, don't believe it. I'm writing a review after those customers so this must be true. I to will to be speaking with a lawyer. I'm not finished yet believe me.

Where can I even begin? Using Pan Transit was the biggest mistake I've ever made when it comes to moving. My husband called them to hire them months ago & we thought that the price was incredible for moving from NJ to PA. We paid our initial deposit and proceeded. My husband realized that we had extra items that needed to be added on so we called them back to do an add-on. They made us pay an ADDITIONAL deposit but we agreed, as we did have more items. We called them on Thursday to confirm our move on Friday & we received confirmation from both the customer service rep & the sales person that our move would be on Friday. When Friday rolled around, we received a call from the moving company (Pan Transit hires 3rd party movers) that our move was actual on Saturday. We were IRATE but there was nothing that we could do. Come Saturday, the 3rd party movers told us that we would have to pay an additional $900 and that we wouldn't receive our items until 7pm that night (this was at 10am) because they had to be "inspected at the warehouse." I've never heard of this before so we told the drivers no way, we didn't have an extra $900 to give them. When we called Pan Transit, they said that this was our fault, that we didn't give them the right information, and that they wouldn't give us ANY of our TWO deposits back. THEN the customer service person hung up the phone on us. Not to mention, we were lied to multiple times: the sales person told us that they are approved by the Better Business Bureau, THEY ARE NOT. They told us we could speak to the billing department to try to get our money back, THERE IS NO BILLING DEPARTMENT. If you want to use a reputable company, DO NOT USE THEM.

The sales reps for this business are their biggest downside. At best they are ignorant of what actually happens between the customer and mover, and at worst they knowingly lie to get you to sign. Consistently in the reviews, the first quote given by sales rep is extremely low, then a week before the move, the sales team calls again and doubles the quote when they go over the same inventory again. Customers pay a downpayment during the first phone call, which the business forces you to do over the phone with them so you cannot read the contract carefully or internet reviews, then the customer feels obligated to stay with the company by the second phone call a week before the move when they raise the price because there are no refunds of their downpayment after 24 or 48 hrs and its too close to moving to hire a new company. The second estimates are not accurate either as the moving company the brokerage hires is able to add any charges they like and you cannot contest it because the pan transit contract has vague wording that allows for this. Initially the sales rep told me it wouldn't be more than a week to get my items delivered and it turned out to be 3 weeks (ignorance vs. lies). Pan transit does not send out any communication telling you what company they contracted or their policies, so you find out the day of your move. Would have been helpful to know they don't allow liquids to be packed; I had to unpack and repack things while the movers were there after they told me this. This company is manipulative, provides no customer service or remediation, and hired a fraudulent moving company in my case. Don't waste your breath in trying to get any money back or settling claims. Despite reading through my contracts carefully, I now understand I would need a law degree to actually comprehend the contract loopholes. No way this company is rated 4.6 stars, their Better Business Bureau rating is

Do not trust the representatives. LOOK at the CONTRACT! I was explicitly told that I could have all my money refunded if I chose to cancel. But it turns out if you’re moving in 5 days the deposit is non-refundable. I requested their services for next week which was within 5 days so my deposit was non-refundable automatically but when I asked the representative (without fully reading the contract (in my case it’s found on the very last line of section 8)) he said I have nothing to worry about and that I could get a full refund. I learned my lesson, and I’ll remember this moving forward.
