These movers helped my family move from Macon to Orlando. They were professional and courteous and I will definitely use them for my next move. Our furniture and things were treated with care and everything arrived perfectly intact. Our quote was about $4,000 altogether. It was worth it to have of our stuff taken care of. It seemed like they actually cared about their clients, which isn’t something I can say for a good amount of moving companies. If you want a stress free move, look into this company and be prepared for great service and a phenomenal move!

Overall decent move.

Movers were late. They were supposed to arrive around 12 noon on Thursday September 12. Well, they arrived over two hours late. It definitely interfered with some of my plans because I had to wait around for them to arrive.

Other than that, Mark and Dominic were great. They came in and packed up all my stuff and handled everything really well. No scratches nothing. Perfect. They did a god job but should work on being on time.

These guys are among the best moving services I have ever had! My family and I have moved quite a few times over the past few years so we have experienced different moving services and this company is the best hands down. The moving company that we had originally scheduled with cancelled last minute and Northern Moving Systems came to save the day. They were able to come assist us the next day which my husband and I were surprised about. They were professional and prompt and made our move bearable after having such a difficult time with the other company. I would recommend them for your next big move.

I have worked for the Federal government for several years now and moving is a major (and annoying) part of mine and my families lives. I absolutely hate packing up, loading the truck and then making the long, multistate trip just to arrive at our new home and unpack our lives again. Northern moving Systems was amazing at alleviating the stress of another move. They were there every step of the way and arrived when they said they wood, with no damage to my stuff. They have definitely set the bar for all of the past, as well as all of the future moving companies that I have used and that I will consider using. I've moved a little more than I have cared to in less than six years. That being said, I have encountered my share of logistics companies. In the past I have had priceless items broken, furniture broken, been lied to about when they would show up, and have them continually delay bringing my things to my new home. I am happy to say that with Northern Moving Systems, that was not the case at all. They were extremely helpful in pack up and so careful with my breakables and valuables. Northern Moving Systems arrived on time during pickup and when they brought my belongings. They were fast, courteous, and beyond helpful. I cannot recommend this company enough and I know in the future, any moving I do will be through Northern Moving Systems. Thank you, guys!

I first heard of Northern Moving Systems just a few months ago while preparing for my first big move out of state. Moving from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts seemed like a daunting task but NMS really made the process go smoothly. From the time I first contacted NMS to the time our stuff got moved was only two weeks. These guys are quick and efficient! I only ended up spending around $5000 which is honestly a better quote than most that i'd received from other moving services. I highly recommend Northern Moving Systems to anyone who is moving across states and needs a reliable, communicative company to go through!

Our family has had to move to four different states in the past five years due to my husband's job transferring locations. Out of all the companies we have used, Northern Moving Systems is the absolute best! This move only cost us about $3500 and we had to move from Reading, PA to Winchester, VA. The challenge of moving somewhere unfamiliar and without having any family members close by is a little overwhelming. We've had bad experiences in the past with moving companies not showing up on moving day or double charging us for the move, but we had no issues whatsoever with Northern Moving Systems! They showed up early and were extremely efficient in getting everything loaded! We will be using you again when the time comes for our next move!

All personnel were extremely courteous and willing to do what ever necessary to accommodate my needs. Very good communication and professional service. I had a very hard working crew for my move. This was the most seamless move, I have ever had. I was very satisfied with the way my stuff was packed , wrapped up and loaded with the quickness. What a proffesion- al group of people, everything was so well organized.
They took care of all my doubts and assisted me through it all.
I wanted to share my experience with Northen Moving System, they are the best moving company, I have ever used. I will highly recommend them for all moving needs.

Don't believe all the 5 star reviews. They must have their employees write reviews for them. I had a simple move from New York to Chicago and these guys provided the worst customer experience I've ever had (And that includes moving within NYC several times). This company advertises excellent customer services and how they support you during the move from beginning to end so you don't have to stress about it. This was false. Once I paid they could care less about me or my furniture. I had to call them several times to find out when my pickup would be. The movers finally arrived at 7pm. This is despite me having made the reservation almost a month ahead. I was given a 3-5 day delivery window. It is now 10 days later and I still have not received my furniture. I've called them several times and was told the same thing each time- "We'll contact your dispatch and let you know right away". Today I called and was finally told it will be delivered in 2 days (not holding my breath). I would suggest avoid Northern as they're nothing more than a 3rd party broker that will charge you a fee for no value added service. Go directly with a mover.

I was making the move from Pennsylvania to Florida and was researching a company that I could get the most bang for my buck, I came across Northing Moving Systems on Google and compared them to other moving companies and they were the only ones who fit my price range (3,000) and had good reviews. What I loved most about working with these guys was that they really kept in touch with me every step in the way, which is extremely helpful when you are already under a lot of stress with the move. They delivered my items on time and the process was easy. If you are planning on using a moving company I would look these guys up!

Best moving service I have ever used! They have a great team at Northern Moving Services. The customer service was outstanding, they were super friendly and always willing to answer any questions I had. The movers were great, they showed up when they said they would show up and they showed a great deal of care when handling my things. There was no dings or dents in my appliances, no scratches on my furniture, everything showed up in the condition it left in! Thank you for taking a big load of stress off my shoulder during my cross country move!

I don't normally write reviews but the awesome service I received from Northern Moving Systems justified taking some time to shout them out. I was transferred from Seattle to Boston and besides not really wanting to relocate - I had to deal with all of the moving activities and costs. I was stressed and worried about the whole situation but Northern Moving put all my fears at ease. They were such an easy company to work with and all of my items arrived undamaged. I was walked through the whole process upfront, the movers were friendly and careful, and the price was reasonable for the distance and amount of items. I tend to get stressed pretty easily, so arranging my move back to California was not easy for me. I had a really hard time choosing which moving company to go with, but eventually decided on Northern Moving Systems based on positive experiences other customers had had with them. The gentleman who gave me my quote was polite and professional, and based on that I had a good feeling about using them for my move. I was worried that my TV or my floor speakers might get scratched, but I was really relieved that they arrived in perfect condition. Hopefully I don't have to move again soon, but if I did I would contact them first.

The movers was very friendly, respectful and had great time management also very important to me, as my due date is not to far away. I recently moved my family and myself to Austin due to work. Moving is hard enough, but moving with kids is so much worse. Northern Moving Systems were punctual and had a great attitude while they were working. Our things were handled with care and placed in our new home just as asked. Nothing was broken, which is always my biggest concern when it comes to moving. The quote was very reasonable as compared to the other places I contacted. Moved from MD to NY and Northern made it simple. I was nervous about the time and expense, but Anthony listened to what I had to say and calmed me down. My stuff was packed and moved with no issues, and in NY, three young men unpacked and moved my furniture into position with great care. There were a few hiccups with missing the delivery window, but nothing serious, and every other aspect of the move was terrific. I would definitely use them in the future, though I hope I never have to move ever again.

Thank goodness I did! As a single woman with 3 small children I feared I would have to be very hands on with this move and prepared myself for the chaos ahead. But these guys came in and took care of everything! All of our big pieces were secured and loaded within hours, and arrived at our new home in prefect condition. I was obviously nervous about using a moving company (I mean, it's my stuff we're talking about) but I just couldn't imagine doing all this work involved by myself. Thank god I found these guys because they really took a lot of stress off of me and my family during an already stressful time. Punctual, professional, and nothing broken or lost.
