Outstanding! Which is honestly a word I never thought I'd even say during a move! I'm not a person who generally makes time to write reviews, nor do I hand them out lightly. But these guys earned it. I had to (begrudgingly) move from Washington to Missouri with 3 kids. The idea of a move that big was giving me terrible anxiety. I have heard horror stories about companies overcharging at the last minute or damaging stuff. These guys made everything a piece of cake! They were extremely honest and professional. They truly went the extra mile and made me comfortable. We moved an entire household without stress and didn't get ripped off or surprised in any way. So a HUGE thank you from this busy mama!

Don't let all the positive reviews fool you like they did me. It was horrendous working with Northern Moving Systems. Unfortunately, they bait and switched me as soon as I signed on to use them for a cross country move. For pickup, I was outsourced to a company called Ocean Moving and Storage and didn't know it until they showed up to pick up my items. They had a new set of standards that were different than what Northern Moving Systems offered me, but what choice did I have? I needed to move my items that day and couldn't wait to vet a new company. I really wish I had. I was then outsourced AGAIN for delivery to a company called Earth Trade Inc. When they showed up, they explained to me that several of the items they picked up from Ocean Moving and Storage for me were broken. There were broken bowls, a cup, pictures, frames, and glass pieces. The worst was a designer ceramic floor lamp. It wasn't just damage from normal wear and tear or a bump on the road; it looked like it had been thrown off of a moving truck. The quality of care was appalling, but that's just half of it. It took 31 days to do this move that I was assured by Northern would take "7-10" days. I get it's moving and there are date ranges, but when Northern Moving Systems representative Jason Levine told me multiple times over the phone that their movers can do it in "7-10" days, I believed him. That did not happen. Despite being outsourced twice, I still had to go through Northern's Customer Service to get updates on my move. For about 2-4 weeks after pick up I regularly checked in and Northern failed to locate the driver or my items on several occasions. It got to a point where I was calling every day to try and get a response. This company can't be trusted and I really hope others don't fall for their trap!

It was pleasure to have work done by the Northern Moving Systems. My uncle had a hard time travelling and because of that I tried contacting them which helped us move from California to Montana. My family and I were having a hard time to move because we had a lot of things but the staffs were very helpful to us and suggested solutions for us to bring things which have a special place in our hearts. It wasn’t the best company out there to be honest, but they certainly did the job very well. My family and I are happy to have all the things arrive on time and safely handled.

Let me start by acknowledging that moving is a pain. My family and I were moving from Minnesota to Ohio, and decided we should talk to a professional moving company. We called a few companies but we weren't overly excited about them. We called Northern Moving Systems and were immediately put at ease. Every employee that I interacted with was professional and displayed excellent customer service. They were on-time, provided updates and every time I had a question, they found me the answer. If you or a loved one are in need of an outstanding company, look no further because you will be 100% satisfied.

This amazing company was able to get my family moved to another state quickly and with no issues whatsoever. Great people who actually care work here and listened to what I needed since the very start of my experience. Every item of furniture was handled with care and getting a quote was hassle free. Few minutes and I knew everything I needed to know to make an informed decision. I will 100% recommend this company to anyone needing to move long distance. I was very pleased with everything they did and it was a great experience.

I absolutely loved the crew over at Northern Moving. They were on-time, efficient, well priced, cautious, and friendly. They turned my nightmare around. I was under the gun and of course I waited until the last minute, but they swooped in and took care of everything. As a single mom, things were already stressful and complicated but they took my burdens away and at a great price. Best decision I ever made was hiring them and I will do it again, only this time with more notice. Thanks guys!

My experience with this moving company has been anything but less than amazing! They had a huge project on their hands due to the fact I was moving from Minnesota to Texas (1,200+ miles away!). And, this was my first huge move. They were great with communication, which really helped ease any concerns that I had. Super polite and their pricing are fair, far better than any other moving company I was looking into! I appreciate their hard work and would definitely use their services again!

This was my first big move to another city, and the guys with NMS made the whole ordeal painless for me. When I was younger I would just ask my friends for help when moving, but that still involved renting a truck, giving individual directions, buying pizza, scheduling etc etc. But the NMS guys knew exactly what they were doing - plus they handled fragile music equipment with care. Definitely will be recommending them the next time someone asks me to help with a big move!

Northern Moving Systems in an absolutely outstanding company to help anyone move from state to state. I was a stressed-out mess in the build up to my move. I was planning for months and originally thought I'd have enough people know that could help, but everyone became busy shortly before the big move. Luckily I stumbled across this company otherwise I would still be living in Michigan. I was always skeptical about getting outside help from a company, but they truly made it feel as if it were my own family helping me with the move.

When my husband got promoted and I learned that we had to move from California to Texas I was so stressed at the idea of packing and moving with our 3 kids. But after finding Northern Moving Systems I was so happy that they had full-service packing (even with personalized label boxes) and delivery at a good price. The entire staff was so friendly and efficient. Absolutely amazing experience, which I never thought I would say about a move! I highly recommend to anyone!

Words cannot express how great my experience with Northern Moving Systems was! I was a little hesitant at first, because it was my first time moving more than 1000 miles. Northern Moving Systems made the entire experience so stress-free. All of my belongings were carefully moved from my old apartment to my new house(YAY!), and I'm happy to report that the overall cost was MUCH less than I was anticipating. If you're moving, and you want piece of mind, Northern Moving Systems is the way to go!

I am just like any other person, I hate moving! Thankfully in today's world, there are options that make these types of transitions so much easier. Northern Moving Systems took so much of the stress out of my move, and I was shocked at how affordable it was. I did the math before deciding to go with them, and after considering all the factors I was pretty sure hiring them would be my best and most time-effective option. The move back to my little home town was so simple, affordable, and dare I say it? Even pleasant! I can't recommend their services enough and will absolutely be a repeat customer for my family's next move.
