From the moment I called Northern Moving Systems I was impressed. The receptionist was courteous and answered all questions I had assuring me the move would be simple. She was right. I had always dreaded moving away for college due to dreadful stories I had heard about moving. This was nothing like that the crew was friendly and handled all of my belonging with extreme care. They placed my items in the moving truck carefully and took them to their destination without an issue. This was the most stress-less move I have ever had and will definitively be choosing Northern Moving Systems in the future!.

It was 3 weeks before my college graduation and I had no idea how I was bringing my stuff from my campus apartment back to my hometown in NJ. My car was too small to fit everything and on top of that, my parents wouldn’t be around to help due to their work schedule. Luckily, a good friend of mine recommended me to contact Northern Moving Systems for help. I’m so glad I took her advice because Northern Moving Systems surely came to the rescue in moving me back home. With their cheap prices, excellent customer service, and strong packaging skills, it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Moving was pretty stressful, especially since this was our first big move across the country. The boyfriend and I are young professionals who have only moved ourselves within Chicago city limits. We were really impressed by the care that Northern Moving Systems took with our belongings. They were so careful with everything, which I really appreciated. After they had all our things loaded, I had complete confidence in them, which felt like a weight being lifted off my shoulders. We decided to take a leisurely drive over the rocky mountains and stop for a weekend in Vail, and I didn’t worry about the move at all. I’m so glad I used them and would definitely recommend them!

I have moved around quite a few times. In that time I have used several companies. Almost every time I have lost many items and had even more damaged. This time I used Northern Moving Systems to help move me, all the way from North Hempstead, NY to Columbus, OH. They provided great service and answered all the questions I had. Honestly, I was terrified that I would lose many of my items in the moving process. Amazingly, Northern Moving Systems did not lose a single item! All my items were in perfect condition! This has been the best moving experience I have ever had, and that says a lot. If I ever move again, I will be sure to use Northern Moving Systems.

The idea of moving a long distance (from the Philadelphia area to Chicago) was very scary, but they made it so easy and low stress. Used Northern Moving Systems to move from Phoenix to Nashville. From the first phone call, they were polite and professional, asking detail questions about how much stuff we had, dates and times of pickup and delivery, etc. The actual movers who showed up to pack our stuff were courteous and extra careful with our furniture and valuables, which I was concerned about. I have a lot of antiques, and everything arrived in the condition we packed it in. The price was very reasonable for a cross country move, and they arrived on time and unloaded everything quickly and carefully. Will definitely tell my friends about them and call them for any future moves.

Northing Moving Systems made moving simple and stress free! I've used other moving companies before, but my experience with this company was much better! They helped my family and I move from Arizona to Florida and made the process as easy as it could be. They handled all my family's things with care and caution. I was able to put my mind to rest not having to worry about any damages or things being lost. They have a great team who were super nice and helpful. Any questions or concerns I had were clearly addressed and helped ease any worries I had about moving. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Northern Moving Systems is well deserving of a five star rating. I'd never done a move this big before (from Columbus, Ohio to Baltimore, Maryland) but Northern was very understanding and helpful. It felt like every other moving company was overcharging, even for a distance like that. Instead, Northern gave me a fair price for the amount of cargo I had. Every interaction I had with them was professional and productive, right up until the move..and then they impressed me even more with the move. There wasn't a dent or scratch in anything that was moved, even with so much product over such a long distance. I was thoroughly pleased with the service I got and having someone so responsible handling my belongings gave me so much relief from the stress I was feeling. If I ever need a future move they'll be the first person I call!

Northern Moving Systems helped us with all of our moving needs when we made a big move from Detroit, Michigan to Tampa Florida. We were recommended to the company by colleagues and am so grateful for it. They were able to hold our items in their storage facility for a month while we were in transition until we made the move into our new home and when we finally did our items were moved efficiently and best of all, no damage to any of our belongings. We will recommend them to all our friends and family and if we move again, we will call!

Moving is always a difficult, strenuous, and stressful process. It certainly was for me when I moved further south for my teaching job. Northern Moving System, helped me out. Not only was it a stress-free, and affordable process, but they also finished the job in a timely and reputable manner. From the pick-up time, to when they deposited my things in my new home, they treated my belongings as their own, and with the utmost care. The staff was also extremely helpful and friendly. Our family has had to move to four different states in the past five years due to my husband's job transferring locations. Out of all the companies we have used, Northern Moving Systems is the absolute best! This move only cost us about $3500 and we had to move from Reading, PA to Winchester, VA. The challenge of moving somewhere unfamiliar and without having any family members close by is a little overwhelming. We've had bad experiences in the past with moving companies not showing up on moving day or double charging us for the move, but we had no issues whatsoever with Northern Moving Systems! They showed up early and were extremely efficient in getting everything loaded! We will be using you again when the time comes for our next move!

All personnel were extremely courteous and willing to do what ever necessary to accommodate my needs. Very good communication and professional service. I had a very hard working crew for my move. This was the most seamless move, I have ever had. I was very satisfied with the way my stuff was packed , wrapped up and loaded with the quickness. What a proffesion- al group of people, everything was so well organized.
They took care of all my doubts and assisted me through it all.
I wanted to share my experience with Northen Moving System, they are the best moving company, I have ever used. I will highly recommend them for all moving needs.

Don't believe all the 5 star reviews. They must have their employees write reviews for them. I had a simple move from New York to Chicago and these guys provided the worst customer experience I've ever had (And that includes moving within NYC several times). This company advertises excellent customer services and how they support you during the move from beginning to end so you don't have to stress about it. This was false. Once I paid they could care less about me or my furniture. I had to call them several times to find out when my pickup would be. The movers finally arrived at 7pm. This is despite me having made the reservation almost a month ahead. I was given a 3-5 day delivery window. It is now 10 days later and I still have not received my furniture. I've called them several times and was told the same thing each time- "We'll contact your dispatch and let you know right away". Today I called and was finally told it will be delivered in 2 days (not holding my breath). I would suggest avoid Northern as they're nothing more than a 3rd party broker that will charge you a fee for no value added service. Go directly with a mover.

I was making the move from Pennsylvania to Florida and was researching a company that I could get the most bang for my buck, I came across Northing Moving Systems on Google and compared them to other moving companies and they were the only ones who fit my price range (3,000) and had good reviews. What I loved most about working with these guys was that they really kept in touch with me every step in the way, which is extremely helpful when you are already under a lot of stress with the move. They delivered my items on time and the process was easy. If you are planning on using a moving company I would look these guys up!

This company knew exactly what to do to take the stress of relocating my things off of my shoulders. In addition to being competitively priced, the moving crew was extremely friendly and worked to ensure my belongings reached my new home safely. There is no possible way I could have made the move if it wasn’t for Norther Moving Systems. The company was receptive to my many messages in a timely manner and, in the end, got all of my items from point A to point B in great shape. Highly recommended!! Northern Moving Systems made my move to Arizona seamless, which I did not think was at-all possible. I had been recently promoted and needed to make arrangements to start my new position within 14 days.. From my first call to inquire if they could accommodate me with such a tight schedule, I knew I made the right choice! I shared my situation with a rep and decided the packing service would be the best route, especially because I live alone and would otherwise have to pack by myself or ask family/friends to help. I needed it done professionally and efficient to survive the long trip. Those are the exact results I received! I would definitely use them again in the future. Very pleased!

From the minute I called Northern Moving Systems I was highly impressed with the informative knowledge the staff provided me with, they answered a majority of my questions before I even asked them! You can definetly tell they know what they are talking about, and the proof was in the pudding! When moving day came it was like clockwork.. Everything they said they were going to do, they did and then some. I was very impressed with how fast they moved everything along and how easy the process was. Normally moving is a headache and something I dread doing but with their assistance it wasn't the nightmare I normally fear but instead it was a well organized process fully effective and I couldn't be happier!!

Due to health reasons, I and my family of five recently moved from North Carolina to Utah. There's only one man in the house and little children are of no help when it comes to moving furniture-- so the move was a struggle. Even though I embarrassingly was a frustrated mess throughout the whole process, Northern Moving Systems definitely exceeded my expectations. The company was swift, reliable, and by all means polite. I really appreciate how mindful they were concerning requested moving accommodations. They cut the workload into a fifth of what it could have been and only charged a little over $4,500. If I ever have to move again, which by God's grace I hope I don't, they'll be my first call.

I tend to get stressed pretty easily, so arranging my move back to California was not easy for me. I had a really hard time choosing which moving company to go with, but eventually decided on Northern Moving Systems based on positive experiences other customers had had with them. The gentleman who gave me my quote was polite and professional, and based on that I had a good feeling about using them for my move. I was worried that my TV or my floor speakers might get scratched, but I was really relieved that they arrived in perfect condition. Hopefully I don't have to move again soon, but if I did I would contact them first.

My family relocated from Cleveland Ohio to Greenville South Carolina for my husbands job. We are a family of 5 with one on the way so I was extremely anxious about the move and having my home ready for baby. I am very impressed with the quality of service I received from Northern Moving Systems. The packing service was so helpful, which relieved some of the stresses of moving. The movers was very friendly, respectful and had great time management also very important to me, as my due date is not to far away. Northern Moving Systems helped me move my one bedroom apartment that contained two sofas, bedroom set, and living room, bathroom, and kitchen appliances all in on load from Tulsa, OK to Portland, OR. I initially made contact with a representative via email, and was pleasantly surprised at how fast they responded. Their professionalism along with a quick response made my move run smoothly. I liked that I was able to receive a quote ($4320 for my 1 bedroom) prior to making any commitments, I will definitely be using them again for my next big move. The ease and convince of scheduling the move was why I choose Northern Moving Systems.
