Northern Moving Systems is well deserving of a five star rating. I'd never done a move this big before (from Columbus, Ohio to Baltimore, Maryland) but Northern was very understanding and helpful. It felt like every other moving company was overcharging, even for a distance like that. Instead, Northern gave me a fair price for the amount of cargo I had. Every interaction I had with them was professional and productive, right up until the move..and then they impressed me even more with the move. There wasn't a dent or scratch in anything that was moved, even with so much product over such a long distance. I was thoroughly pleased with the service I got and having someone so responsible handling my belongings gave me so much relief from the stress I was feeling. If I ever need a future move they'll be the first person I call!

Northern Moving Systems helped us with all of our moving needs when we made a big move from Detroit, Michigan to Tampa Florida. We were recommended to the company by colleagues and am so grateful for it. They were able to hold our items in their storage facility for a month while we were in transition until we made the move into our new home and when we finally did our items were moved efficiently and best of all, no damage to any of our belongings. We will recommend them to all our friends and family and if we move again, we will call!

Our family has had to move to four different states in the past five years due to my husband's job transferring locations. Out of all the companies we have used, Northern Moving Systems is the absolute best! This move only cost us about $3500 and we had to move from Reading, PA to Winchester, VA. The challenge of moving somewhere unfamiliar and without having any family members close by is a little overwhelming. We've had bad experiences in the past with moving companies not showing up on moving day or double charging us for the move, but we had no issues whatsoever with Northern Moving Systems! They showed up early and were extremely efficient in getting everything loaded! We will be using you again when the time comes for our next move!

All personnel were extremely courteous and willing to do what ever necessary to accommodate my needs. Very good communication and professional service. I had a very hard working crew for my move. This was the most seamless move, I have ever had. I was very satisfied with the way my stuff was packed , wrapped up and loaded with the quickness. What a proffesion- al group of people, everything was so well organized.
They took care of all my doubts and assisted me through it all.
I wanted to share my experience with Northen Moving System, they are the best moving company, I have ever used. I will highly recommend them for all moving needs.

Don't believe all the 5 star reviews. They must have their employees write reviews for them. I had a simple move from New York to Chicago and these guys provided the worst customer experience I've ever had (And that includes moving within NYC several times). This company advertises excellent customer services and how they support you during the move from beginning to end so you don't have to stress about it. This was false. Once I paid they could care less about me or my furniture. I had to call them several times to find out when my pickup would be. The movers finally arrived at 7pm. This is despite me having made the reservation almost a month ahead. I was given a 3-5 day delivery window. It is now 10 days later and I still have not received my furniture. I've called them several times and was told the same thing each time- "We'll contact your dispatch and let you know right away". Today I called and was finally told it will be delivered in 2 days (not holding my breath). I would suggest avoid Northern as they're nothing more than a 3rd party broker that will charge you a fee for no value added service. Go directly with a mover.

I was making the move from Pennsylvania to Florida and was researching a company that I could get the most bang for my buck, I came across Northing Moving Systems on Google and compared them to other moving companies and they were the only ones who fit my price range (3,000) and had good reviews. What I loved most about working with these guys was that they really kept in touch with me every step in the way, which is extremely helpful when you are already under a lot of stress with the move. They delivered my items on time and the process was easy. If you are planning on using a moving company I would look these guys up!

When it came to moving from Columbus, Ohio to Memphis, Tennessee I had no idea where to begin. Luckily, Northern Moving Systems did! This company knew exactly what to do to take the stress of relocating my things off of my shoulders. In addition to being competitively priced, the moving crew was extremely friendly and worked to ensure my belongings reached my new home safely. There is no possible way I could have made the move if it wasn’t for Norther Moving Systems. I definitely would recommend keeping Northern Moving Systems in mind if you plan on relocating in the future!

Northern Moving Systems provided me with the assistance I needed during my move from Boston, MA to Raleigh, NC. The company was receptive to my many messages in a timely manner and, in the end, got all of my items from point A to point B in great shape. Not only did they provide quality customer service, but they were also very affordable compared to the many other options based out of Boston. I know what company to go to for any future moves I may have, and I will absolutely be recommending this company to anyone looking to make their move a much easier process!

Highly recommended!! Northern Moving Systems made my move to Arizona seamless, which I did not think was at-all possible. I had been recently promoted and needed to make arrangements to start my new position within 14 days.. From my first call to inquire if they could accommodate me with such a tight schedule, I knew I made the right choice! I shared my situation with a rep and decided the packing service would be the best route, especially because I live alone and would otherwise have to pack by myself or ask family/friends to help. I needed it done professionally and efficient to survive the long trip. Those are the exact results I received! I would definitely use them again in the future. Very pleased!

From the minute I called Northern Moving Systems I was highly impressed with the informative knowledge the staff provided me with, they answered a majority of my questions before I even asked them! You can definetly tell they know what they are talking about, and the proof was in the pudding! When moving day came it was like clockwork.. Everything they said they were going to do, they did and then some. I was very impressed with how fast they moved everything along and how easy the process was. Normally moving is a headache and something I dread doing but with their assistance it wasn't the nightmare I normally fear but instead it was a well organized process fully effective and I couldn't be happier!!

Due to health reasons, I and my family of five recently moved from North Carolina to Utah. There's only one man in the house and little children are of no help when it comes to moving furniture-- so the move was a struggle. Even though I embarrassingly was a frustrated mess throughout the whole process, Northern Moving Systems definitely exceeded my expectations. The company was swift, reliable, and by all means polite. I really appreciate how mindful they were concerning requested moving accommodations. They cut the workload into a fifth of what it could have been and only charged a little over $4,500. If I ever have to move again, which by God's grace I hope I don't, they'll be my first call.

I tend to get stressed pretty easily, so arranging my move back to California was not easy for me. I had a really hard time choosing which moving company to go with, but eventually decided on Northern Moving Systems based on positive experiences other customers had had with them. The gentleman who gave me my quote was polite and professional, and based on that I had a good feeling about using them for my move. I was worried that my TV or my floor speakers might get scratched, but I was really relieved that they arrived in perfect condition. Hopefully I don't have to move again soon, but if I did I would contact them first.

My family relocated from Cleveland Ohio to Greenville South Carolina for my husbands job. We are a family of 5 with one on the way so I was extremely anxious about the move and having my home ready for baby. I am very impressed with the quality of service I received from Northern Moving Systems. The packing service was so helpful, which relieved some of the stresses of moving. The movers was very friendly, respectful and had great time management also very important to me, as my due date is not to far away. Thank you for making my job easier and making sure our stuff made it to our new home safe and sound. I will definitely be referring others!

Northern Moving Systems helped me move my one bedroom apartment that contained two sofas, bedroom set, and living room, bathroom, and kitchen appliances all in on load from Tulsa, OK to Portland, OR. I initially made contact with a representative via email, and was pleasantly surprised at how fast they responded. Their professionalism along with a quick response made my move run smoothly. I liked that I was able to receive a quote ($4320 for my 1 bedroom) prior to making any commitments, I will definitely be using them again for my next big move. The ease and convince of scheduling the move was why I choose Northern Moving Systems.

I recently moved my daughter from Richmond, VA to Charlotte, NC and decided to hire a moving company for her. Having never used one before, I was a little cautious and wary of how it would go. After doing some research on various companies, I settled on Northern Moving Systems and couldn't be more happy with my decision. They were very helpful and considerate over the phone and took great care of my daughter's furniture. She has several fragile pieces and they all arrived in perfect condition. All in all, I spent $4,000 for a polite and professional service. I would recommend them to anyone.

The man who contacted me from Northern moving systems about a week ago portending to be an advocate on my behalf just called and threatened me. He pretended to be on my side and agreed with my position and said he would have this resolved for me within a few weeks. He asked me what it would take and what I wanted to happen to settle this and I told him it would cost $ 22000 to cover my out of pocket to repair the building,the cost of the stolen silver and my insurance deductible. I knew he was never advocating for me. As soon as I have the transcription from his threating voicemail, I'll post it here. When I spoke to him this morning before posting this review, he had the nerve to ask me to wait 30 days so he wouldn't have to go before the board @ Northern. If he wants this post down before 5pm as he indicated in his threats, he better get busy and find a way to get me a check for $22000 before 5pm.

I currently had to move my daughter from Norfolk, VA, to Waldorf, Maryland, and never used a moving company before. Northern Moving Systems did a fantastic job to easy our nervous. I'm a stickler for customer services, and from the very first contact, I was very impressed. Being that this was my first time using a moving company, there were a lot of questions, and Northern Moving Systems were able to answer them. There were no unexpected or hidden fees. When the movers arrived, they were respectful and knowledgeable and were able to get the items loaded and delivery without any issues. So grateful and will use and recommend Northern Moving Systems.

Relocation is tough. Tough on the kids and tough on the parents. Northern Moving Systems makes the process easy and practical. The transition is not easy or perfect but customer service is able to guide you step by step for a smooth procedure. Their assurance and accountability remove the constant concern of your furniture and personal items. All of my stuff arrived in a TIMELY manner and not a scratch. The workers were very considerate and dealt with everything in a delicate and professional manner. They work around your schedule and not the other way around. Would definitely recommend.

Scheduled a move with this company, and everything was squared away with a week before our move date. Today they called and canceled our move because of an early snow storm 8 days prior to our move to Montana. It doesn't matter that the weather will warm back up to 60 degrees after this weekend, they have canceled all routes up north until April!! This company is afraid of snow and won't move your stuff even though they are called "Northern Moving Systems" talk about irony! Greatly disappointing. I would look elsewhere unless your move is during the summer months!

Many companies want to reassure families that they can allow moving to be less stressful. This one can easily be one of them. They have a kind yet professional team with potent service. They make sure to not have any broken furniture or scratches.
Transportation companies deal with a lot of common complaints like delays with deliveries. But Northern Moving Systems are sincere when they really try to get any problems out of the way. Moreover, the price range is very suitable!
It’s best to trust Northern Moving Systems! They really make things easier and provide a smooth time for you. What a sigh of relief. Definitely one to use again.

Hands down one of the best moving companies to work with. Moving is such a stressful thing for everyone and they made it smooth sailing. I felt my belongings were safe. They were very respectful and personable. They genuinely care about their customers and their valuable. Not one thing broken, damaged or misplaced throughout my move. They packed it to where not one tv was scratched, no cushions were ripped. No glass was broken. I felt like family, and who can ask for more than that?
